Hi, the name's Melody. I write for a lot of fandoms, as you can see above, but nowadays mostly reside in Suikoden. On My Fanfictions
Most of my fanfictions are written to be canon-compliant. I am interested in AUs and respect authors who has successfully done so, but have no plan to write my own in near future. Requests and prompts accepted, as long as they pertain fandom(s) or character(s) I'm versed in. While I don't usually do romance more than what depicted in the original source, I would occasionally try such pairings if asked (example would be my attempts on Camus/Valeria and Miklotov/Anita for satsukiyurami). Unfortunately, if you're seeking someone to write your favorite F/F or M/M couple or something rated more than T, you are advised to try another author.
As you can see, my collection comprises of short oneshots. I lack planning ability and dedication to actually finish a multi-chaptered fic. I do more character studies than actual stories with proper arcs. I currently have numerous drafts for Suikoden and Soul Eater laying around and am hoping to finish one of them in near future.
On Reviews
I try as I might to reply reviews despite the tardiness, so if you are asking questions in your review, please do so without being anonymous so I know who to get back to. Constructive criticism is highly appreciated. I would be delighted when people point out my mistakes, especially on characterizations and canonical details. Unfortunately, for older fics, especially circa 2012, pointing out the grammar errors by now would be somewhat moot. They are still here solely for archival purpose.

Random Notes
2017: Digging around what I've gathered here is overwhelming. With the passing time, many people I'd known over the years had gone, and I too had largely moved on from fanfictions for a while (mainly caused by the lack of time I currently have to interact with titles I like), though I still write some from time to time. When I find myself reading, often it's of a title posted here many years ago, ones I'd loved once upon a time. It's sad, and it's weird. Perhaps it's part of growing up to also outgrow things you love. However, this site has also given me a lot that has shaped me to what I am. A teenage years spent writing, a terrific community leading to real life lifelong friends, many constructive reviews, and heartfelt messages. Whether or not I'll be part of this site in near future, I'd like to leave the message here: thank you, Fanfiction.net and everyone supporting the site. You've made days better for at least one girl growing up.
