Between the summer solstice and the first of August this year, I will be posting a series of Harry Potter one-shots. If you have ideas for gen, slash, or femslash one-shots you'd like to see, feel free to PM me! I will be writing some ideas sent to me last year that I didn't use. As a basic set of ground rules, I don't write crossovers, non-magic AU's, het-focused stories, or genderbends. Almost anything else is fair game.

Hello! My name is Lomonaaeren, pronounced low-moan-ah-AYER-en (or at least that's how I say it). I'm a writer of, at the moment, mostly HP slash, with some genfic.

Most of my stories are Harry/Draco; I also write Snarry, Harry/Snape/Draco threesomes, Harry/Lucius, Ginny/Luna, and a few Harry/Tom Riddle and gen fics. I tend to vary widely in terms of theme and genre; I've written horror, humor, pure romance, fluff, action/adventure stories, mysteries, and others. My stories tend to rely heavily on magic and on the psychology of the main characters.

At the moment, I have more than thirty complete novel-length stories, many novella-length chaptered fics, a great many one-shots, and nine WiPs. Most of them don't need to be read in any particular order; however, I do have some series. Most of the series are fairly short and have the sequels clearly marked in the summary, but there is one long series that needs some special reading order notes:

The Cloak and Dagger series is a mixture of one-shots and longer fics about Harry and Draco being Auror partners, hunting Dark wizards called the twisted. The order is "Invisible Sparks," Hero's Funeral, "Rites of the Dead," Sister Healer, "Working With Them," This Enchanted Life, "Letters From Exile," Writ on Water, "Evening Star," The Library of Hades, "There Was Glory," A Reign of Silence, "Dictionary of Losses," Mansions of a Monstrous Dignity, "The Horn That Was Blowing," Chains of Fool's Gold, and "A Panoply of Souls."

My regular WiPs, updated on a weekly schedule, are:

Wolf's Choice is an AU of GoF, the sequel to Other People's Choices, where Harry was Sorted into Slytherin when the Sorting Hat dropped onto his head in the Chamber of Secrets. You should read Other People's Choices first to understand this. Updated Mondays.

His Twenty-Eighth Life is a fic about Harry Potter being constantly reborn as the Master of Death, with all his memories. His twenty-eighth life sees him having a brother who is destined to be the Boy-Who-Lived, while Harry is reborn into a body much like his first life’s, with James and Lily as his parents. However, Voldemort learns the truth about Harry that Halloween night and kidnaps him. This will eventually be HPLV slash. Updated Tuesdays.

Narcissa Militant: Narcissa is a badass assassin who defends her family at all costs. A crack AU where Narcissa adopts Harry and trains him as an assassin, and Harry is in a romance with Draco. Updates Wednesdays.

Made of Common Clay is a partial parody of Lord Potter tropes. Harry finds out he’s Lord Potter and Lord Black, but by this time he’s thirty, tired, and jaded. He sets about tearing everything down instead of rejoicing in his privilege. Updated Thursdays.

A Brother to Basilisks is a full-blown canon-divergent AU beginning in third year. Harry hears a voice calling him from what turns out to be the Chamber of Secrets, and nothing will ever be the same again. This is set to be my longest story, running through sixth year at least, and eventual Drarry, but the romance is only now starting. Updated Fridays.

A Door Into Hope continues the story of the Children of the Sun, in a fic universe where wizards have familiars Muggles cannot see. Harry shocks everyone by appearing with a golden familiar, the highest in the hierarchy of colors, which no one was prepared for. Updates Saturdays under the general Children of the Sun title.

Lightning and War is the sequel to Jonquils and Lightning. Harry and Tom have traveled back to Tom's home dimension to try to find Harry's cousin Jonquil Potter, who's disappeared through the portal to Tom's world. Along the way, they fight a war against Dumbledore and discover Potter secrets, more or less by accident. Updated Sundays.

Irregularly updated WiPs:

Sympathy for the Predators, my Harry/Lucius, has been stalled for a while now because of plot and tone problems, but has only one chapter left.

Heraclitean Fire, a horror story. Harry knows he only has about two weeks to live due to the Withering Curse. Clearly this is the time to investigate an ancient house belonging to Draco's family that possesses secrets capable of destroying them both. This will be nine parts.

Odysseus Bound is a story about Harry being unable to return to his world after Dumbledore meets him in King's Cross Station, and instead starting on a journey to alternate worlds. Three chapters up so far; this will also be a long fic.

Light of the Life That Is is a sequel to a one-shot I posted a few years ago, "Shadows of a Future Passed." With a Harry returned from death after being gone almost seven years and Draco the Hogwarts professor who helped him return to life, this story deals with the trials and tribulations they experience fitting Harry back into the world. It has six chapters, with two left.

An Urn for Her Ashes is a Snarry AU where Harry has some of Lily's memories and her looks. Albus reared him in secret and has only introduced him to the Order of the Phoenix when he was ready to destroy the Horcruxes, which includes sacrificing Harry- Albus doesn't think this is a problem because, thanks to his mother's spirit, he has lived so much 'extra' time. Severus has something to say about that.

Valerian is a story that is a sequel to my one-shot "Aconite." Harry, formerly in a relationship with Draco, has now been hired by Draco to make a wedding gift for Astoria Greengrass, soon to become Astoria Malfoy. Meanwhile, Severus Snape, supposedly there only to make sure that Harry doesn't mess up the wedding gift, finds himself more and more curious and suspicious about what exactly happened when Draco and Harry's relationship ended.

Like the Sky takes place in a world where Voldemort won, and is sane due to having made only one Horcrux. He is slowly taking over the Muggle world as well as the wizarding one, working from the shadows, but the Order of the Phoenix still exists to oppose him. Harry, an ordinary child who believed he was a Muggle until the age of nine, finds himself both caught in the middle of the warring factions and of interest to the Dark Lord.
