Please do not leave comments asking for updates. I can't balance my job and regular writing right now. Writing is work, no matter how much I might enjoy the end product. To maintain a healthy work/life balance, I need to be able to not-write without feeling bad about it. Without feeling guilty, or like I'm letting people down.

I really need for whatever writing I do to feel like a joy again, instead of a figurative albatross.

If you enjoy any of my work, by all means keep it on Alert. If and when I ever finish the story 'offline', I will update it.

I am also on Ao3, same name, but since I have to reformat every single chapter - often line by line - I'm in no hurry to move all my stories there. If you know of a good conversion program, please do share. Edit: After a few hours' work and several different failed attempts, Astolat is my savior! She has created a macro that, combined with OpenOffice or Word, can turn a copy-paste from Scrivener into a copy-paste that Ao3 can handle without stripping formatting. Hallelujah!
