"Anyone else try something?" Aksel asked softly. "She can't stay like this... she's like a sister to me."
Aksel gave Jon a worried look. "What about Jun? Maybe Lucas could try to give her a jolt to wake up? Someone?"
"What about," Aksel paused to think who else could help. "Who else can help?"
"Nobody!" Jon shouted. "Nobody, so stop thinking she's going to be okay!"
"Why are you thinking that way?" Aksel asked softly as he tried not to sound sad. "She's your sister..."
"I've learned not to get my hopes up about anything," Jon said bitterly. "If the Professor doesn't know if she'll be okay, who am I to say she is?"
"But, Jon," Aksel said. "What if you being like that doesn't help her?"
Jon twitched, and he mentally jabbed Aksel with some of the frustration he was feeling. "Just shut up, Aksel," he warned.
"Sorry doesn't help me," Jon said. "I have to get you back to the asylum." He grabbed Aksel by the arm.
Aksel didn't say anything and let Jon take him to where the Professor had taken him.
"Ran away," Aksel said softly. "It wasn't that hard, I didn't even know I had powers."
"Well, this time I'm telling them to keep a better damn guard on your cell," Jon muttered.
"How do you know I won't escape again?" Aksel asked with a grin. "I know I got powers now, I can use them."
"They'll drug you," Jon said angrily. "I'll drug you myself. I don't ever want to see you in public again."
"How can you be mad at me for something you know I'd never do to her?" Aksel asked and tried to ignore Jon's anger. "I swear I didn't want to do that."
"If you can't control yourself, you shouldn't be allowed near innocent people," Jon said. He dragged him down the path to the edge of the property.
"I can control myself," Aksel said. "It was... just that all of those emotions plus Charlie... It was too much."
"Like I care what you say," Jon snarled. "Now shut up." He pressed down mentally on Aksel's brain, scrambling his thoughts.
Jon increased the pressure in Aksel's head, confusing him as he dragged him down and into the city.
((Should we switch threads? =p))
Jon trudged back into the Mansion twenty minutes later, head throbbing, a thin sheen of sweat shining on his face. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed.
Jun, that for some reason was back at the mansion, saw Jon in the distance and arched an eyebrow, "Something wrong?" He asked softly as he walked towards him.
"Eh?" Jon muttered distractedly. It took him a moment to realize who was speaking to him. "Oh, Jun. What're ... what're you doing here?"
"We got a choice, don't we?" Jun asked. "No one's over there anyways."
