1 Things That Don't Matter Post-Uprising Newt finds that the precursors have cut him off from the parts of himself that feel anything but determination to still enact their plan. There isn't much he can do from the PPDC custody so he waits for any chance to do so. In the meantime there is Hermann. There is always Hermann. That should matter. It isn't allowed to.

2 One Last Piece to Lose The Precursors had been discarding little pieces of Newt for some time, before he even really noticed. Now his once-prominent instrument collection has shrunken down to one guitar he's had since before he could remember and he's standing outside of a pawn shop. He knows how this story ends. He can't change this. But maybe Hermann can.

3 Costume Shopping was the Easy Part The countdown to Halloween has begun and Newt is determined to make sure he and Hermann have amazing costumes. He's sure it'll take awhile but they'll both be satisfied with their costumes in the end. Now if only the second part of his plan, finally asking Hermann out, could go as smoothly. 3 Glasses are for Rock Stars Newt loves his glasses. They have been a part of him since the beginning and are an important part of his rock star aesthetic. The Precursors hate his glasses. They are inconvenient and inefficient and too reminiscent of the man that defeated them. All it would take is a simple surgery to correct the problem. Years later, Newt still isn't okay with it. Hermann is uncertain about whether they should start a relationship the second Newt is himself again. Newt has always had a flair for the dramatic and not much of a chance to use it lately.
