What is supposed to be "just another job" for the legendary demon hunter turns out to be so much more than that, and Patty is left behind fearing for her friend's - her family's - very lives, all the while starting to uncover just how little she had really known Dante. Here's what I'll do (I'll take care of you) The veil between the human world and Hell is starting to thin, old seals cracking and barely holding up. Sparda is determined to be once again the shield of humanity and works tirelessly to find a solution - even at the cost of his own health, it seems. Eva is having absolutely none of that and intervenes. If he cannot take care of himself like he should, then she will.

Made it so obvious (did everything but say it) Who said transitioning from one kind of love to the other was a smooth thing? Eva is going through a minor emotional crisis over being in love, while Sparda seems all too oblivious for someone his age. Blessed be friends like Tony, who are not afraid to shed some lights on things.

1 Snowballing (Right into you) Winter rolls around with snow in tow, much to Eva's joy, and she is determined to share it with Sparda. He, meanwhile, is more willing to follow her lead than she might yet realize.

1 Wherever you wander (there's no place like home) (Interlude, pointless fluff) Sparda had been acting secretive ever since they had talked the new development in their life together, and while not worried, Eva is very much curious what caused it. When he spirits her away one morning for a surprise, she can only wonder - what crazy idea has her lover concocted this time around?

9 Snapshot (Post-Game, light Spoilers) Posing to have his picture taken is really not what Nero had in mind, and having his picture taken with his… father… was not something that had even occurred to him before. Not that it was a bad thing, just... Could they maybe have all this without their friends poking fun at them?

5 Remember (you are not alone) (Pre-Game, Missing Scene, Interlude, ignores part of the novel) Doubts and fears are ever-present. Too many of their friends are missing. Their foe seems unstoppable, and time is running out. Somewhere in the middle of this, on their way to Red Grave City, V comes to realize he knows less than he would like, and feels more than he should.

1 Waiting for the Sun » The thing was - Dante didn't celebrate things like Christmas. The last time he had celebrated any holiday was… well, frankly, he didn't really want to remember the last time, too much was tied to it that didn't feel good to remember. Now, if only he had remembered to tell all his friends that he didn't wish to celebrate. (Crossposted on AO3, Part 3 of "The Devil's own luck")

Now and forever (we'll be together) The end of the world has been put to a forceful stop, the two of them and their loved ones are safe and sound, and it's as right in the world as it probably can get.
