Cassie stood backstage, playing around on her cellphone.Micks was the twitter girl, and Cassie was all thumbs when it came to her phone. Her pretty face was contorted into a confused face as she tried to figure out her iPhone. She growled in defeat and slipped her iPhone into her back pocket of her darkwash jean shorts. She pursed her pouty lips and looked around, seeing if anyone was there to hang out with, yet.Other than the jean shorts, she was wearing a blue Cookie Monster t-shirt,furry boots and her hair was pulled into a high ponytail.

(Alison's outfit

Alison McMahon was a girl on a mission. Today was her day to get there before Cassie. That bitch had managed to beat her to the arena every single day for at least three years. Today, that streak was going to end. The youngest McMahon was, no doubt, the most competitive, and this challenge was driving her absolutely fucking insane. She had no idea how she managed to arrive, every single day, before her. "Jay! I'm not waiting all goddamn day!" Alison hauls her bags from the back of her rental car, brow furrowed at the Canadian, she growls. Jason, moving rather slowly, pulls himself from the car, only to be yanked into the arena by an apparently disgruntled Alison.

"Ow! Damn it, you're going to dislocate my arm!" Looking back at him, the girl narrows her eyes in dangerous slits, causing the blonde young man to recoil in surprise. "Come on!" Running in heels was fairly easy for Alison, but catching up to her was not easy for Jay. "I'm not as young as you, Al, slow down." Pulling him into the building, the girl collapses. There she was. Cassie Rivera. She was defeated once again. "Damn it!"

Cassie heard voices. No,not like the Randy Orton 'in-my-head' kind of voices, but the real kind.A smirk crawled across her face and the Richmond native crossed her arms as she turned to the entrance of the arena. She smirked over at her friend, laughing at Jay being pulled behind her.She slipped her thumbs into her belt loops and walked over,smirking."Hey,Ali,Jay."She nodded to the both of them."I got here an hour ago."She said, chuckling softly. She knew why Alison had rushed in,and had tried to hurry Jay.

"Why does this always happen to me?" She runs her hands through her hair, scraping her nails against her scalp. She was most certain that it was Jay's fault. Jason took longer to get ready than she did. Maybe if he wasn't such a drama queen, she'd get there before Cassie once in a while. Slapping her best friend on the shoulder, Alison narrows her eyes. "I told you, dumbass." Jason folds his arms across his chest, brows stitched together. "Hey! I told you, my hair takes time, Al. It's not my fault that my luscious locks take more than fifteen minutes." The girl sighs, and pinches her temples between her fingertips. "Ugh." Silding up next to Cassie, she crosses her arms over her bust, rolling her eyes. "This boy. I don't even know what to do with him anymore."

Jason pulls both girls into a hug, grinning. "Bring it in, kids." Alison absolutely hated when he did this. She didn't like people hugging her, and why she let him do it, she'd never know. "I'm going to go meet up with Adam. But I'll catch you girls later." Now loping off, he glances over his shoulder, giving an overly dramatic wink to the duo. "Now that that's over..." Emotions suddenly flipping, Alison shakes Cassie by her shoulders. "How is it possible for you to beat me here every damn time. You cheat. You're a cheater. I can feel it."

Cassie laughed softly and rolled her eyes, giving Jay a halfwave as he walked away. She looked at Alison and smirked, cocking an eyebrow up."Ali,I'm pretty sure that it's impossible for someone to cheat at being early."She shrugged."Hey,maybe it's because I get my ass out of bed an hour and a half earlier then you do."If anyone else shook her, their face would have an imprint from her ring, because she would have decked them. But,Alison got the acception.

"I'm pretty sure it's totally possible." Alison smirks, and pulls on the tail of her tank top, cocking an eyebrow. "You would find a way, you sneaky little woman, you." The blonde leans on her hip, and twists a lock of honey blonde hair around a spindly finger, laughing to herself. "Hey, I need to get myself ready for my day ahead. Don't blame me for wanting to look nice everyday." She rolls her shoulders, glancing about the hall, and grins. "So, little one. What have you been up to, today? In the hour that you've been here, of course." God, she hoped Cassie had something good going on. She got nearly all of her gossip from her, and she relied on her for her entertainment. With Alison's terribly interesting love life now grinding to a halt with her breakup from Zack, she needed someone else to provide her with tales of sex and romance. Any other person would have been sub-par compared to her. "Any hookups? Breakups? Makeups? I'm kind of loving words that end in 'up', today. I've decided it's my theme. So, spill. Pay the kitty, darling."

Cassie laughed and rolled her eyes."Before you and Jay got here,it was a complete ghost town.I was the first one here, beside the crew.God,it's boring."She shook her head, before she cocked an eyebrow up."What were you up to last night?I texted you and never recieved a reply."Cassie said, poking her forehead.SHe knew that Alison wanted a distraction, but she had been trying to check up on her and make sure that the older girl was okay.

(Okay, plot is starting :D)

Alison recoils from being poked, exhaling slowly through her nose. "Where was I?" She considers this – where had she been? At some dive? No, she didn't think so. She was almost completely certain that she'd been at the hotel all night last night, playing pool with Jason in the rec. Drinking from the minibar while laying face down on her bed. "Oh, shit, Cas." She slaps her palm to her forehead, groaning to herself. When she left the hotel room, snatching her bra from her lampshade, she knew something was wrong. Chess pieces strewn about, board cast aside. Jason had already been awake by then, hung over the bathroom sink, toothbrush sticking out from the side of his mouth. Suddenly, Alison knows all too well what she'd been up to last night. "Cassie, I think I had sex with Jase." They hadn't hooked up since at least 2008, when they were a technical 'couple'. It hadn't really been the best choice then, and it sure as hell wasn't the best choice last night.

Cassie's eyebrows flew up and her eyes widened."You had sex...With Jay?Like, last night?"She blinked a few times, before her eyebrows furrowed. She ran a hand through her blonde hair, pursing her lips."Wait, you think?"She pursed her lips.God,this was not good. This was not good! What if old feelings had been brought up,and Jay wanted Alison back? She knew Ali was not ready for a relationship."Want me to find out?"

"I'm pretty sure, Cass." She slaps a hand to her face, dragging it down across her now completely pale visage. "I just think...chess, bras. Ugh." Sinking down into the chair behind her, she rests her face in her hands. Jason was her best friend of all best friends. Sure, Adam and Chris were close to the top, but of all the people in her life, he was the most important. God, she really didn't want to get trapped in this situation again. It had already happened once, and it was legitimately one of the worst moments of her life. "I just, I don't know. I don't know what I'm going to do. I can't ask him. He won't tell me." Faceplanting into her lap, she glances up at Cassie with watery eyes. "Would you? He won't give me a straight answer. But for you, he might."

The protective side of Cassie quickly came out.She walked over and gave her a tight hug,and a slight nod."It's alright,Ali,of course I will."She pulled away and squeezed her shoulder."Don't worry,I got this."She said."I'll come straight back and tell you as soon as I know."She said, before she headed off.She hated seeing friends in pain, and Ali was no exception. She wouldn't let anything happen between them, and if she had to,she'd tell Jay that too.

"Thanks, Cass," She smiles faintly, and feeling herself being pulled into a hug, doesn't even pull away. She was hurting, and even if it wasn't obvious to herself, it was clear to others. Watching as she walks away, Alison allows her head to drop into her lap. She couldn't believe she'd done it again.

Jason, tilting his head in the mirror, gives a weak flex of his arm. "God, I look weird." Furrowing his brow and pulling in closer to the reflective glass, he squints. When had he become so...so old? Sighing to himself, he falls back onto his couch, resting a hand on his forehead. Today was going to be a rough day. Last night was...last night was...he didn't even know what he could call it without sounding like a pervert. Last night felt right. It felt like the old times. Back when they lived together, when they would light up in the kitchen and eat cereal from stove pots. When they would play checkers with chess pieces and roll around on the floor for a while. It was fooling around. But last night, it was different. He missed that girl. He missed being with her. He missed just...how it used to be. Sighing to himself, Jason stares up at the ceiling, furrowing his brow at the scuttling outside his locker room door. He hoped to god it wasn't Alison. It was awkward for both of them, and he was almost certain that she wanted nothing to do with him romantically. The thought of never being with her again scared him. Rising from the couch, he treads to the door, and pokes out his head. "Hello?"

(I feel that this roleplay is going to be badass and really, really dramatic xD)

(OT: I know I'm late... Time zones and all that... :P Okay, lock and load!)

Eden arrived at the arena in more than a timely matter. She was always an early bird, and today she had even decided to rent a bike and ride to the arena. She was energetic, even for this business. Even from a distance, she quickly recognized the blonde woman sitting out by the entrance to be a certain young Miss McMahon. The other blonde considered it for a moment, before she rode up to her and got off her bike in a swift movement

"GOOD MOR ...ning." She started out optimistically, but in the middle of her greeting, she noticed the look on the other woman's face and trailed off. She was too much of a morning person for most people to deal with in the first place, and she could easily tell this might be one of those moments where it wouldn't do any good. Especially as the two weren't too close to begin with. Still, Eden was Eden, and she would always lend a helping hand. Regardless of what that might mean. "I'm sorry, my timing was completely off there, wasn't it?" she more stated than asked.

(YAY! :D Now we can start with all of the drama :3)

Of course it was Eden Jagger. It was always Eden Jagger. It wasn't as if Alison hated the girl, no, but she certainly didn't like her either. It was...complicated. Seeing someone so cheery all of the time had managed to simultaneously bring a smile to be face and emotionally destroy her. "Hm." She grunts, eyes flitting through thick, coal-black lashes. There was a certain mood that she needed to be in to speak to this woman, and because it was a terribly rare one, well, they weren't generally very chummy. Taking a hand through thick locks, the young woman rests her elbows on her knees. "I see you're tapping into the lost art of....ugh. I can't even do this today." She rises from her place, folding her arms across her bust, and eying the young woman. Alison leans on her hip, raising her eyebrows. "As for your timing, yes, I would suppose to. You are the queen of tact, my dear girl." Keeping her lips pressed into a line line, her voice is dry, lacking any sort of feeling. If Eden was the Queen of Tact, then...what was she?

"Uh, yeah!" Jason gives an easy grin, gesturing for the young woman to take a step inside. He didn't know what this was about, but...did Alison say something to her? He knew that the two girls were friends (or at least, the closest a woman could get to being a friend with that girl), and just, maybe she'd mentioned something. It was unlikely, considering the fact that she rarely spoke of personal issues, but there was always a sliver of a chance. And considering his luck, well. "So, what's up, Cass?" He collapses back onto his couch, running a hand over his flurry of blonde hair. Raising his eyebrows, he smiles. "Boys giving you trouble? Need ol' Jay to lend a hand?" He's rambling now, only slightly, but...if he could notice it, he was damn sure that Cassie, of all people, would pick up on it. Shit.

"Yeah, I tend to do that whole wrong place and wrong time thing, actually! It's like the universe tells me I'm needed..." Eden said, in a disturbingly serious, convinced tone. It was hard to tell if she was actually serious or just taking sarcasm to a whole new level. "I am however, terribly reliant as your trusted agony aunt." By 'your' she meant the collective at large. She was always trying to help someone if she could, and if she had the time and attention-span, she would probably try the save the world. It fit in with her previously mentioned, built-in Bat Signal. Eden ran a hand through her already dishevelled hair, somehow trying to fix her helmet-hair and failing quite miserably at it. "I'm all ears, if you need to vent." Her dark eyes had a genuine kind look, but she seemed to realize she might not come across that way. "Oh, and I don't mean that in a nosy way," she added simply. It came out off-handedly, the words came easily, even though she was defending herself slightly. "I really couldn't care less for gossip..."

"Hm." Alison murmurs, and looks the blonde up and down. Who rode a bike nowadays? Eden. Only Eden. She was a weird girl, and the McMahon was appreciative of that, but...she didn't know. Something about her rubbed her the wrong way. It wasn't a dig towards Eden herself, as she was a perfectly nice, and probably an entirely sweet woman, but being the cynic that she was, Alison couldn't help as if she were...disingenuous. There was nothing she wanted more than to trust someone with her thoughts, with her feelings, but, today was not the day. And Eden was not that person. Having her vulnerability exposed was difficult for the young woman, and appearing as if she were...weak in front of someone she hardly even ever spoke to, was a gigantic blow to her ego. "I, uh," she rubs the back of her neck, tangling her fingers in thick, blonde locks, and glances away. "I just sort of fucked up." Biting down on her lower lip, she sighs inwardly; she shouldn't have mentioned anything at all.

Fuck. Dragging a hand over his face, the Canadian lets a sigh escape his lips. He knew when he'd been caught, and well, Cassie had ensnared him. Recounting the events of last night in his head, he shrugs. "Uh, which...part?" He knew exactly what part she meant, but suddenly feeling ridiculously nervous, the young man reclines his neck, eyes now focused on the ceiling. He's trying to avoid that prying, intense gaze of Cassie James, attempting to escape from the prison he'd manage to get himself in. Momentarily considering if he could just bolt out the door and into the safety of his car, he inwardly shakes his head; she was faster than him – she'd catch him no problem. "Um," he says gently, snapping his head back up to face to. "What did she tell you, exactly?"

Eden nodded slowly, analysing exactly what the other woman might mean. "Hey, we all fuck up. Consistently. Makes the world go 'round. If nobody ever fucked up, then everything would run smoothly." Normal people would see this last statement as the completely opposite of what Eden saw it as, normal people would find it to have been wonderful if everything ran smoothly all the time. The short blonde sat down, indian style, in front of the distraught-looking McMahon. McMahon's generally never looked distraught. Now, Eden had an answer to the question before Alison even had a chance to ask it. "WHICH wouldn't be a good thing, because with everything going as planned all the time, we would have no happy accidents and everyone would go crazy and kill each other over how trivial and predictable the world was. Ha!" Eden smiled brightly, visibly quite pleased with her own reasoning. She didn't expect to necessarily have helped quite yet, because technically she had spoken in general terms. "Ooof course, there is always an exception to any rule..." She didn't want to seem to invade her privacy, and quickly continued. "Look, I don't need specifics, I'd rather not, actually..." She put her hands up in a dismissive kind of fashion, knowing that the two of them were nothing more than acquaintances. "But how badly did you fuck up? Like...on a scale from 'puking in a cab' to 'getting married in Vegas'?"

Alison smiles, in spite of herself. She was just so damn plucky. There was something to be said about someone who had a smile on her face in the (what appeared to Alison to be) most disastrous of situations. It kind of freaked her out to see someone with such an optimist's attitude, but at the same time, it made her feel hopeful. Which in turn, freaked her out, but that was beside the point. The blonde rakes her fingers through her hair, nails running against her scalp. She was a private person, someone who didn't really open up that often, and it scared her to think that she was teetering on the edge of confessing something fairly serious to a person she barely even spoke to. She was a flurry of emotions, and they weren't the emotions she was used to feeling. Truly, it was sort of pissing her off. Shaking her head, the young woman twists her lips together in consideration. "Well, when you put it that way, I'm not sure that I have much of a chance of avoiding answering your question. I have a feeling that you have no intention of letting me get off Scott-free. Am I right, Miss Jagger?" Allowing herself a moment to consider how to word her answer, she taps a finger to her chin. "Do you suppose that having sex with someone you consider your best friend would rank somewhere in the middle of things?"

Biting down on the inside of his cheek, Jason shakes his head. Lowering his voice and dropping his head just slightly, the young man closes his eyes. "I think so." The events of the night previous were pretty blurry, even for him, but he was pretty clear on one thing: he and Alison, whilst rolling around on the floor (amidst bottles and cast aside chess pieces), had most definitely hooked up. He knew that it was a mistake, even while on top of her, but truly, he wasn't going to stop her from doing anything. She meant a lot to him, and well...maybe he figured that if they did something, he'd have another chance. Now realizing that he was no longer something of a lover, he looks away. "Yeah." Cassie was someone that he knew he could trust. She was a nice girl with a big heart, something that was fairly hard to come by these days, and he knew that he could rely on her to not, well, you know. Judge him. Nodding, he stands up, hitching his thumbs in his front pockets. "It wasn't really even a big thing, Cass, you have to understand that. It was late, we were both drunk." he runs a hand over his hair, considering what to say next. "It was a mistake, okay?"

"What was that?" Eden's gaze flitted back and forth, suspiciously, at the unfamiliar expression which she in some absurdly paranoid part of her picked up as a stab at her personal object of fascination. No no, that was just her being crazy, no one knew that part.

"Oh." Eden winced, but tried very hard not to make it seem like it was as bad as it potentially could be. She shook her blonde head intently, both to clear it and to show that...oh wait, she was supposed to nod at this part. She quickly turned the motion into one of agreement before her train of thought derailed. "Yes, it definitely would. I mean, that has never happened me, so I strictly can't speak from experience." All of this came out far too quickly. She was never a good liar. She was trying too hard. And she could tell, herself. Well, she wanted to help Alison, she might as well be painfully honest and try a little harder. "Okay, that was a lie. I totally have done that...and it could have ended worse. Honestly." It could have, by far, but it had not exactly ended well, either. "I mean, it was a mistake, but some mistakes has to be made for us to realize where we need to go in life." As she spoke these words, in a moment of remarkable clarity, she knew it had made sense to her. It might make sense to Alison, too.

Of all the things that she was expecting, she wasn't expectingthatto come out of Eden's mouth. "You? Little Miss Mary Sunshine? A checkered past? I'd have to see it to believe it." Arching an eyebrow, and folding her arms across her bust, Alison shakes her head. "Look.Eden,it's not even a big deal. You don't need to concern yourself with me. We're not even friends." Giving a little scoff-like laugh, she exhales slowly through her nose. But...this girl. This girl was a strange one. She never really thoughanyone, aside from her father, truly gave a fuck about her. And even if she didn't, she was doing a good job of pretending to. She wasn't going to say it out loud, no, but...there was something in her that appreciated her concern. It wasn't something that she was accustomed to, and frankly, it made her a bit nervous. Insecure. She draws her brows together, sighing a deep sigh, and hesitantly lays a hand on the blonde's shoulder, offering her the fakest of fake smiles ever smiled. "I'm okay. I'm a big girl. I can handle my own shit, okay?"

Jason bites down on his lower lip, feeling his body tense at the sudden contact. Cassie had always been a nice girl to him. She was young. She was...new. She was unspoiled by the malignancy of WWE. It was a harsh place, and still, she'd managed to retain her smile, her laugh. He was impressed. He'd seen girls older than her run out crying, discouraged by the attitudes of divas or superstars (the most aggressive being the bane of his existence, Randy Orton, who had driven more divas from the promotion than the fucking plague), but not her. "I know. I know." Rolling his baby blues, the young man chews on the inside of his cheek. "I just though that we could...I dunno. I don't know what I was thinking. And I know you hate me now, and Alison's probably more pissed off than ever, but..I needed another try, Cassie. You have to understand that."

"Cassie, I don't want anyone to be upset. Especially not because of me." God, was he really that bad of a friend? Was he that bad of a person that he had to ruin the lives of his best friends? Alison was probably taking her rage out on some poor crew member, and here Cassie was, taking time out of her probably-full schedule, to talk to him about how badly he'd screwed up. "I mean, really. He didn't know how he got himself into these situations, or why they were always happening tohimspecifically, and never Adam, who was clearly the more prepared, but he chalked it up to just being unlucky. Jason was unlucky. That's just how it was, and how it always wouldbe. He wished that things could be the same again, when Chris was there with them everyday, and Alison was with Randy (which, admittedly, ended horrifically, but was okay while it lasted), and when he and Adam were tag-team champs.
