Heyo, for school we were supposed to write an original poem. My teacher said that he never had read LOTR before, so he probably didnt really get the meaning of this, but I hope he liked it, I'll be getting my grade on it soon . *fingers crossed.

All you Ringers out there should obviously understand what this means. If you want a story line, lets just say that Merry and Pippin wrote this and read it when the Fellowship finally all got back together and had a proper funeral for Boromir.

I own none of the charecters mentioned.

The mightiest man may be slain by one arrow

You saved our lives

You have earned our trust

Slaughtered all who dare threaten us

We had our rocks

Jagged in our small hands

You had your sword

But they had arrows

Roughly feathered sticks

Points like a dull knife that someone tried to sharpen

You were pierced by many many many

We couldn't breathe

There was not a lungful of fresh air

The air that we had was stuck in our throats

Like day-old sap from a wounded tree

We were stuck

Frozen

Rocks in mid-throw

The mightiest man may be slain by one arrow

You were pierced by many

And we felt it

Please tell me what you think, I might try to do more poetry if lots of people like it. Good luck to all the students out there going to be going though finals soon. May the Force be with you...
