Trunks stood outside the massive structure, looking up at it, surrounded by Rukia, Renji, Ichigo, Chad, and the glasses boy, Uryu, he had met his first day in class. Turned out he was something called a Quincy, specializing in ranged attacks. They also had with them four strange Hollows that Ichigo's group came across, that were surprisingly non aggressive. One was an Arrancar, resembling what looked like a little girl with a skull on her head, teal green hair peeking down from it, and a strange pink streak going across the bridge of her nose.
"The girls are in there," said Uryu, looking at the building with a frown, "So how do we get in?"
"Easy," said Trunks, sheathing Hikari and holding up his hands.
They had already dealt with a strange monster that continuously reformed in the sand until Rukia froze it, not to mention countless other Hollows that weren't reasonable like the girl, Nel, and her friends. He would not have any more delays.
"MASENKO!" he cried.
The blast rocketed from his hands and slammed into the building, leaving behind a massive hole in the wall, leading into a large room.
"Well, that's one way to do it," Ichigo grinned at Trunks and slapped him on the back before they all ducked into the building.
"Waaaaiit!" Nel cried, looking at them and dancing on the threshold of the way in, "you can't go in there- Lord Aizen will kill you, all the Arrancars and Espadas will kill you, cause you're the bad guys!"
"You've been helping us all this time, doesn't that make you just as bad?" Uryu demanded.
Nel gaped at him, then tears welled up in her eyes, "But Nel doesn't wanna be bad!" she wailed.
Trunks sighed and went back to her, kneeling in front of her and smiling lightly, "Hey, little one," he said, making her pause in her crying and look up at him, "Listen. These guys are your brothers right?" he nodded to the two Hollows with her, Pesha and Dodonjo.
"That's right!" Pesha said, "And we'll do anything to keep Nel safe!"
"Well Aizen has my sister in there," said Trunks, straightening up and glancing over his shoulder into the building for a moment before looking back at them, "So can you really call me a bad guy when all I want to do is get my sister back?"
Nel stared up at Trunks with wide eyes for a long moment before she ran to him and hugged his leg, bursting into tears once more, "Nel understands! Nel wants to help Trunks save his sister like Pesha and Dodonjo would save Nel!"
Trunks smiled and patted her head gently.
Trunks!
Hikari's voice nearly made Trunks flinch, it startled him so badly.
What?
It's Kurai- something's wrong with him.
What do you mean, how can you tell?
I sense something on Emi's side of the inner world, it's Kurai's Spiritual Pressure, but it's going crazy, I can hear him screaming!
Just then, Trunks felt Emi's chi suddenly drop.
The group around him all stiffened and looked upwards to where Emi's presence was but a moment ago.
"Emi!" Trunks yelled, powering up to Super Saiyan and bunching his muscles beneath him.
"Wait!" Ichigo grabbed his arm, "You can't just go flying in there! Aizen's up there! Think for a second!"
"That's my SISTER!" Trunks yelled.
"But Aizen doesn't want her dead!" Uryu cut in, stepping forward, "Why would he suddenly just kill her now?"
"Because I'm here," Trunks muttered, clenching his fists, "And he probably knows it! She was disposable!"
Just saying the words made rage lick up into his ribcage.
Kurai's energy just dropped, Hikari's voice began to twist in anger, Go, Trunks! Go NOW!
"Trunks, please!" Ichigo said when Trunks strained against him, "We do this together, alright? Let us help you!"
Trunks glared up at the ceiling for a moment, his teeth grit, then he sighed heavily and relaxed his posture, his hair falling flat and returning to lavender.
What are you doing?! Hikari demanded.
They're right, Trunks thought back to her, It would be stupid to rush in there like that. For all I know, Aizen did it on purpose to lead me in by myself. I won't let this blind me, I have to be tactful about it. And… I can still feel her. She's weak, but alive.
Tch, he saw Hikari fold her arms and glare at him, You better know what you're doing.
Trust me, I don't like this any more than you, Trunks told her.
"Alright," said Ichigo, looking around the room, "It looks like there's six ways to go," he looked back at everyone, "We'll have to split up," his eyes fell on Trunks, "You stick with me, got it?"
Trunks nodded at him, but he was too tense to smile. He bounced foot to foot, eager to get moving.
"Then it looks like we're splitting up otherwise," said Renji, "We need to keep an eye out for Orihime too."
"Nel will stay with Trunks and It-su-go," said Nel, grabbing Trunks' hand.
Trunks looked down and smiled at the girl. He didn't know that Arrancar could be capable of being as sweet as this one, as kind hearted. It made him realize that not all of them could be bad. After all, they were technically victims of Aizen's as well. Unless some of them willingly allowed him to change them.
He looked up at the ceiling again and felt raw determination pour into him.
I'm coming, Emi.
*.*.*
Light.
There was a golden light.
Emi felt fresh air kissing her face, toying with her hair. Was that… sunlight?
But wait… How was she alive?
Emi's eyes snapped open and she gasped in a huge breath, then coughed to the side, as if she had been submerged in water.
"Oh thank God, Emi!"
Emi turned her head, blinking in the brilliant light, and saw a familiar face over her.
"Or… Orihime?" she rasped.
Orihime smiled at her, but there were tear stains on her cheeks. Emi looked around to see Orihime's healing light enveloping her, but also, she noticed that she was… outside?
The blue sky was above, and she could even see clouds. They appeared to be atop a large pillar, and down below were dunes of golden sand, as well as more pillars dotted about.
"Where are we…?" Emi rasped.
"You fuckin' idiot!"
Emi looked back to see Grimmjow standing there, glaring down at her with his arms crossed, his eyes like daggers.
"Grimmjow?" Emi breathed.
"Do you know what I just went through to save your dumb ass?" he snapped, "Gettin' this bitch was no fuckin' walk in the park, and I wasted my Caja Negacion on Ulquiorra!"
Emi stared up at him, "Your what?"
Grimmjow snorted in annoyance, "An emergency device, one was given to every Espada. But it won't last forever, so we gotta hurry."
"Hurry for what?" asked Emi, frowning at him, "And why the hell did you save me anyway?"
"Isn't it obvious?" snarled Grimmjow, "This is our last chance. So as soon as you're full healed, I want you to come at me with everythin' you got. Got me?"
"Wait, what?" Orihime looked back at him, "You just had me heal her so you could hurt her again?"
"Damn right," Grimmjow said, turning and closing his eyes, "Now hurry the fuck up."
"No," Orihime began to retract her hands, "I won't do it if all you're going to do-"
Emi reached out and grabbed Orihime's hand, making the girl blink in surprise.
"Emi?"
"Don't stop," Emi told her, looking into her eyes, "It's okay. I'm fine with fighting him."
"But-"
"Orihime," Emi offered her a small smile, "Trust me."
Orihime blinked for a moment then nodded shakily. Emi released her hand, and the ginger haired girl continued to heal her.
Emi let her senses cast out at that point, trying to see if Trunks were close. To her surprise, she felt that he was quite near, back in one of the buildings, but he was fighting against something, an Arrancar signature, but not one she recognized. Ichigo was also with him, and another Arrancar power that was smaller. She felt the urge to go help him, to run to his side when he was so close. But she had other things to take care of first…
Emi glanced over at Grimmjow who had stalked over to the edge of the pillar and sat down, his legs hanging off the edge.
This man… she had thought about nothing but defeating him since their first encounter. She felt the need almost as strong as her desire to put an end to Aizen. It was like he in himself was a challenge to her, in every way, not just in combat. This is where she would put an end to it.
"That should do it, Orihime."
Orihime retracted her hands and the golden light left Emi.
"Emi, please be careful," she said softly.
"I'll be fine," said Emi, getting to her feet and glancing around, "Where are we? Still in Hueco Mundo?"
"Yeah," Grimmjow stared out at the sand, "The center most of Los Nochas. Apparently Aizen liked the sun too fuckin' much to leave it behind. He had this built to where it simulates daytime in the World of the Living. It's open enough for us to fight freely," he gave her a shark grin over his shoulder, "Now let's go."
He slipped off the edge of the pillar, falling about three stories before landing in the sand below. Emi stepped forward and gripped the hilt of her blade.
Kurai?
I'm here…
She saw in her mind's eye Kurai struggling to get up in her inner world. There was red smeared in the snow around him.
Are you okay? What happened?
That thing… it was trying to let something else in, Kurai said, And something else. I saw… I saw Karakura Town.
Huh?
Yeah. Like, some weird visions of it while I was out, a rift opening in the sky kinda like a garganta, but… well, something came out of it.
What's with your voice? You're sounding hesitant. Are you keeping something from me?
Listen, I'll tell you everything after this fight, Kurai looked up at her from within her mind, his tail twisting around in agitation, We need to focus on this asshole now.
…Fine.
Emi knew he had a point. Whatever visions he was speaking of could wait.
Will you be okay to fight? She asked him
Tch, of course I will. C'mon, let's kick his ass!
"Orihime, stay down," Emi said softly before flying off the pillar and down to the ground to land beside Grimmjow.
They stared at one another for a moment. Emi still didn't understand why the need to fight him wasn't as strong as it was when they first met. After all the crap he put her through, making her lose her temper, making her walls crumble, she would think she would hate him more.
But here and now, facing him, she realized she didn't hate him at all.
Why?
"No point in wasting time, if Ulquiorra will return," she said, "So, are we agreed to fight at full power from the gate?"
Grimmjow grinned wickedly at her, "Well, shit, sweetheart, now you're talkin' my language," he unsheathed his katana from his hip.
Emi took a deep breath then let her hair leap to gold, transforming to Super Saiyan, then, she let out a cry as she pushed her power upwards. Sand was sent flying everywhere around her from the sheer force of her chi. Grimmjow lifted an arm to shield his eyes, but he was still grinning.
"Consume," Emi breathed, brandishing her Zanpakuto, "Kurai!"
There was another wave of power as her katana transformed into the great shadowy buster sword. She saw Kurai grinning eagerly in her mind. She guessed that represented her inner Saiyan, feeling excitement at the prospect of a tough battle. The sand settled around her, and Emi stood ready as Grimmjow lowered his arm and smiled at her.
"Good. Good! Now it's my turn," he held out his sword and placed his hand on the blade, and it looked like he was scratching at the steel with his hand like claws.
"Grind! Pantera!"
White smoke suddenly swirled around Grimmjow like a tornado, and Emi's eyes widened slightly as she felt his Spiritual Pressure sky rocket. Of course, this was his release. When the smoke left, it revealed a very different looking Grimmjow.
His blue hair was now a long flowing mane behind him. What resembled white skin tight armor encased most of his body, spikes of it sticking out by his elbows. The jaw piece of his Hollow mask was gone, replaced with a strange visor on his forehead, made of the same white bone. His ears were now covered in blue fur, and stretched out to either side in a cat like manner. A tail lashed behind him, and his hands had claws upon them. She noticed that his legs were now animalistic, bending the wrong way.
He's totally a cat! I CALLED it! Kurai laughed.
Emi was glad her Zanpakuto seemed back to his normal self, and she found herself smirk a little.
"What's with that face, huh?" Grimmjow snapped at her, grinning wickedly, "Got a fuckin' problem?"
"I didn't expect you to have a tail," Emi said, "Or be so… animalistic. Though, thinking on it now, I should have guessed, what with your personality."
"Tch," Grimmjow crouched, glaring at her, "Laugh now. I've been waiting so long for this moment," he grinned wickedly, "This is the end!"
He burst toward her with wild and ferocious speed. Emi was caught off guard. Could he have improved this much? She barely brought up Kurai in time to block off his swiping attack with his claws, using the flat of the blade. But Grimmjow was not daunted. He twisted around and lashed at her side, and Emi gasped as he cut into her flesh, blood spraying forth.
She jumped into the air, holding out her hand and letting out a blast of power down at him as she did so. She saw him jump to the side, but it still caught him slightly, making him fly back and land hard in the sand. She darted down using both hands to swing down her blade at him. He looked up and dashed sideways, letting the sword slash uselessly into the sand, sending the grains flying up everywhere like a tidal wave in each direction.
Catching Grimmjow in the face, the blasting sand make him cough and flinch back. Emi took her opening, twisting around and thrashing her sword toward him. She saw him try and flee, but she still cut open his upper arm as he twisted around. He hissed in pain and annoyance before whirling and launching at her again.
They danced across the landscape for a moment, dancing around each other's attacks. Emi noticed that Grimmjow mainly dodged her attacks while she blocked his. He was faster than her. But their strength seemed evenly matched, if not a little more in Emi's favor. At this rate, it was going to be a long fight, and a close one. Emi remembered facing off against Cell after he had absorbed 18. But then she had been at a harsh disadvantage. Cell was far more powerful than her. But now, she was stronger than Cell had been, but then again, so was Grimmjow. As she fought, sweat spilling from her brow and her teeth grit in effort, she wondered what all the people she had left behind in that time would think of this. Could the Gohan of that time help them? If Goku was still alive, could he? And what about her father?
Emi found that quite suddenly, she yearned for them. Her friends and family she had met then. To fight alongside her here, and of course, for Trunks.
But thinking about that now would do her no good.
Emi steeled herself. Grimmjow… he stood now between her and her ultimate goal, stopping Aizen. She could not progress until she defeated him. If she failed here, this world would be reduced to ruin, just like her own.
I will never let that happen! I'm strong enough to stop it this time- I have to be!
"Shoshoku Ni Shimasu!" she cried.
The light suddenly vacuumed in all around them, placing them in an orb of nightfall. Emi felt new power come to her as soon as the light faded.
She let out a wild cry and thrust forward, crashing the hilt of her blade into Grimmjow's face with a sudden burst of speed. He wailed and fell back, and Emi whirled and lashed out her sword, catching him across the chest. Blood sprayed forth and Grimmjow howled in pain, but lashed back at her with equal ferocity, claws extended. Emi yelled in surprise as he caught her on the cheek, slashing open four new wounds there, one was over her brow, and blood dripped down in her eye, blinding her there.
Come on! Kurai egged her on from within her mind, Faster!
Emi whirled, slashing out her sword. Grimmjow darted backwards, narrowly dodging her swing before rushing forward again, his leg slamming into the side of her head. Emi nearly went flying out of her orb or darkness, but she flipped midair and caught herself, bringing up her blade just in time to block his downward attack with his feet. She pushed back against him, making him stagger in the air, and took her opening.
As she came whirling around, Grimmjow instinctively lifted his arms to block the blow, but Kurai cut into him, sending blood bursting forth. Grimmjow hissed in frustration and lashed out at her, twisting around so his tail caught her across the face. She hadn't expected his fifth limb to be so strong, but she was sent crashing into the sand below, and felt a welt appearing on her cheek as if she had been whipped.
Did he seriously just use his tail?! Kurai demanded.
Emi sat up, rubbing her face and groaning in pain, but she didn't have long to recover. Her eyes looked up to see Grimmjow rushing down toward her, claws extended. Emi rolled around, seeing him land right where she had been moments before. He growled and looked up, kicking off the sand and tackling into her. They rolled across the sand for a moment, each struggling to get atop the other. Grimmjow finally pinned her to the ground, glaring down at her with a vicious smile.
"Still think we're evenly matched?" he snarled.
Emi slammed her knee into his stomach, causing him to gasp and fall off of her, gripping his center.
"Yes," she said, twisting around and getting to her feet, swiping her blade down at him in the same motion.
Grimmjow rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding it before holding out his hands at her.
"I'm done fuckin' around!" he bellowed, and Emi felt power begin to build there as he swiped down his claws, and brilliant blue beams that looked like blades appeared on them. The power coming from them made Emi tense her shoulders. This wasn't good.
"Desgarron," Grimmjow snarled, and then swiped his claws toward her, and even though he was several yards away, the blue blades seemed to detach from them and were flung straight for Emi.
Emi brought up her blade to block them just in time, but the sheer force of them pushed her back in the sand, sending her across the clearing. It took everything she had to keep the blade in place to save herself from being impaled. She grit her teeth and felt her grip on Kurai weakening. She closed her eyes, bringing up her chi and let out a short blast of power. She saw the blades relent just a bit and took her chance.
Emi leapt into the air and whirled around, holding back her hands, "Ka-me-ha-me-HA!" she cried, unable to charge the attack for as long as she would have liked, but this would do.
The blast shot down at the blades just as they began to rush for her again, and upon meeting her energy, there was a massive explosion that sent her flying up into the air, clean out of her orb of darkness.
Balls! Kurai yelped.
Emi took a moment to straighten herself in the air, flailing her arms and legs wildly. When she finally managed to get herself under control, she looked around to see Grimmjow had leapt into the air after her, and was a mere two feet away. She tried to turn and attack again, but a strong hand caught her by the throat. Grimmjow twisted her around and pinned her to his chest, twisting up her sword hand behind her back so that she dropped Kurai to the ground.
Damn! Both her and Kurai thought at once.
"Time's up," Grimmjow growled in her ear. He was panting, as exhausted as she was, and his grip on her neck tightened.
Emi closed her eyes, bringing up all her chi. Grimmjow made a mistake in thinking she needed a sword to fight. He should have remembered their first encounter. With a loud shout, she sent energy blasting out in all directions, sending Grimmjow flying into the distance, slamming into one of the tall spires in the valley.
Emi hovered in the air, gasping for air for a moment, shaking her head back and forth. That had used quite a lot of chi to do that. She had to end this quickly. Looking down, she spotted Kurai in the sand. She dropped down and gripped his hilt again and looked up to see Grimmjow flying toward her with a furious yowl.
End it here!
No need to tell me twice!
Emi held back her blade, and then with all of her strength, all of her chi, and all of her remaining Spiritual Pressure, she flung it forward in a wild arcing swing, screaming in effort, her golden aura becoming so powerful, even Kurai's night orb couldn't hold the light back.
She saw Grimmjow's eyes widen in shock just before the blow caught him across his front and sent him flying backward with a howl of agony. The sand burst forth around her, nearly twenty feet high in their wave. Emi placed Kurai in the sand and leaned against his hilt, panting roughly, looking up as all the sand fell down. Laying about thirty yards away was Grimmjow. He was no longer in his released state, back to normal, with that jawed bone on his cheek.
After Emi caught her breath, she lifted Kurai and began to limp forward toward him. She paused over him, and she saw him shakily lift his head to look at her. There was a look of utter fury on his face. But even as he met her gaze, the rage softened to a mere scowl, and he narrowed his eyes. She recognized that look. He knew he was defeated.
"Finish it," he rasped, glaring up at her, "What're ya fuckin' waitin' for? Finish it!"
Emi pointed her blade at his throat and he didn't even flinch, didn't even blink in surprise, just kept holding her eyes.
What was this feeling? Emi searched herself, feeling her brows knit. She looked at her blade, imagined impaling it through Grimmjow's chest, seeing him slowly bleed, the life leave him… and all she could think was, what a waste. Grimmjow, he had such anger in him, such rage, and he was selfish, yes. But he was driven. He was…
Proud.
Emi blinked at Kurai's voice and saw him in her inner world, arms folded, leaning back against a tree, eyes closed and a surprisingly serious look on his face, his tail twitching. He looked up at her.
You're a Saiyan, so of course you would admire that about him. And I won't lie, so do I, he smiled lightly at her, Yeah, he's a dick. But… there's something about him, isn't there? Always has been. How is it he can open you up more than your own brother? Think about it.
Emi felt her face turn into one of near pain, her brows pulling down on the outer edges. Grimmjow continued to glare up at her, unflinching. She stared at him for a moment, then let out a long sigh and pulled her sword away. Grimmjow blinked in surprise.
"What… the fuck are you doing?" he breathed.
Emi continued to hold his gaze, "A long time ago, back in my world, there was a man who was just as blood thirsty as you," she said softly, "He came to Earth seeking to destroy it, to gain power. He killed many people, and didn't even think twice about it. But he was defeated by a hero called Goku. Another fighter, named Krillin, was going to kill the man before he had a chance to escape, to make him pay for his sins. But Goku stopped him. He claimed that everyone deserved a second chance."
She looked up into the sky and closed her eyes, letting out a long sigh, "If Goku hadn't stopped Krillin, I would not be here today," she reopened her eyes and slowly looked back down at Grimmjow, "I too believe everyone deserves a second chance."
Grimmjow was staring at her, his jaw slack, his eyes wide. He didn't appear capable of a response. Emi snorted softly and turned away, letting Kurai reseal into a katana again, the orb of darkness also fading away, "But just know, I do not believe in third ones," she said.
She heard the sand shift and turned to see Grimmjow struggling to his feet. She kept her hand on Kurai's hilt, just in case he attacked again. His look of shock had fallen, and he now glared at her. But it wasn't one completely consumed in rage like all the other times. There was a hint of curiosity in his eyes as he looked her over. He clutched himself, and didn't appear to be readying himself to attack again.
"Are you taking pity on me?" he demanded.
Emi looked him up and down, "The man I see standing before me does not appear to be in need of pitying. He is one that demands respect from his pride and determination. He just doesn't understand how to channel himself properly."
Grimmjow's face fell into one of surprise again. He stared at her, as if trying to figure out if she actually existed, if she wasn't just some vision. He opened his mouth, and spoke.
"…Emi-"
Emi first felt the jolt of surprise at the fact that he said her name for the first time. But then, there was a splatter of blood. A giant half moon blade came into sudden view, slamming into Grimmjow's neck. His eyes went wide with shock and pain. He fell sideways into the sand, unmoving, blood beginning to pool around him in the sand.
Emi felt something inside her begin to break. She stared, wide eyed at the motionless form of Grimmjow.
The hell?! Kurai yelped.
"What…?" she breathed, and finally let her eyes move to his attacker.
The man was tall and skinny, his limbs like that of a spider. He had a narrow face that had a strange white eye patch over his left eye, and shoulder length straight black hair. His weapon was a massive thing with two half moon blades connecting by the center of their curves. He grinned over at Emi with uniform teeth that somehow made him seem even more eerie. He wore a white jacket with a massive hood like piece behind his head, and puffed up looking pants. The energy from him was that of an Arrancar.
"That Grimmjow really never knew when to just shut up," the man sighed, shaking his head.
"What are you doing?" Emi demanded, "He- he was defenseless! He's an Arrancar like you!"
"Tch," the man laughed, shaking his head, "Are you kidding me? I'm Nnoitora Gilga! You think I care about weaklings like that? So what if he was defenseless? Killing is just as fun, whether they fight back or not!"
Emi clenched her fists.
A memory came to her. In her mind, the image of Android 17 invaded her vision. It was the same day that she had been injured and forced to be saved by Gohan when they had to abandon that city. Gohan had gone to deal with 18. In this memory, she could see the remains of a family that 17 stood over, and she remembered yelling those exact words.
"They were defenseless!"
"So? Killing is just as fun, whether they fight back or not!"
Android 17's laughter flushed her ears, mingling so much with this Nnoitora that she couldn't distinguish one from the other. She shook, her rage, so carefully controlled for years now, began to slip. Her teeth grit, her hair moved around slightly, as if on its own. Despite being exhausted by her fight with Grimmjow, she felt her chi fluctuate wildly.
She saw Android 17 pulling his hand from Gohan's chest, saw her mentor fall to the ground.
She saw Nnoitora slamming the blade into Grimmjow's neck, saw the sixth Espada fall almost the same way.
She saw Gohan, laying in a pool of blood, slowly growing and growing…
She saw Grimmjow just the same way in the sand before her.
No…
Not again.
Not. Again!
Emi's looked up at the sky, and a cry burst from her chest. Her chi increased so fast and so much that sand went flying away from her in every direction. Her hair stood up more on end, and lightning began to dance around her. She felt her muscles bulk up slightly. She felt her power flow around her, and all her anger, all her rage, held up for the Androids, for Aizen, it all rushed from her into this new form. Her scream slowly faded as she reached her peak, and she looked down at Nnoitora with dangerous eyes.
She knew she did it. Reached the ascension of Super Saiyan, just like Gohan had.
She held out Kurai, pointing his blade tip at her new enemy, "I will not allow you to leave," she said, her voice in a strange, deadly calm tone, "Consume, Kurai."
*.*.*
Back in Karakura Town, a tear not unlike a garganta opened in the sky. A figure suddenly burst from it, sent flying down to the ground where it landed harshly in front of a certain candy shop, leaving a crater.
Vegeta groaned and propped himself on his elbows before looking around. The tear in the sky closed up just as Kisuke stepped out of the shop with a perked brow, looking toward the Saiyan Prince with a frown.
"Well, I'll be damned. You have the same kind of Spiritual Pressure as the other two," Kisuke said, folding his arms and sighing, "This is getting more complicated."
Vegeta looked over at Kisuke, jumping to his feet, "You! Where is this?"
"Specifically? Karakura Town," said Kisuke, pocketing his hands, "But I'm guessing you mean which universe, huh?"
Vegeta went to him and gripped the front of his coat, pulling him down to his eye level, "Who are you? And where's Trunks and Emi?"
"So you are from their world!" Kisuke didn't seem fazed by Vegeta handling him, and just smiled at him from under his hat, "But… you're Spiritual Pressure feels a little… different… You didn't come here by the same means they did, did you?"
"Answer the question!" Vegeta snapped.
Kisuke laughed nervously, "Easy. They're in Hueco Mundo. But I'm sure that means nothing to you."
"Listen to me, you bastard," snarled Vegeta, "You're going to take me to them, and you're going to do it now!"
"I'm afraid that's not possible," said Kisuke with a sigh, "And if you come into the shop, maybe we can have this discussion more civilly and over tea? I'll explain everything."
"I don't have time for your stupid explanations!" shouted Vegeta, "My daughter's life is in danger! I need to get to her now!"
"Daughter?" Kisuke's eyes widened, "So… you're their father? Vegeta, right?"
"How do you know my name?" Vegeta spat.
"I'm friends with your kids, of course," said Kisuke with a laugh, "Now… about that tea?"
Vegeta glared at him for a long moment before releasing him at last, "You better make this quick," he growled.
"Naturally," sighed Kisuke, turning on his heel and heading back toward the shop, "It's just one thing after another here… Tessai! Put on some more tea!"
AUTHOR'S NOTE:::
Yay! Emi went Super Saiyan 2! I'm sorry this chapter isn't as long as the others, but I felt this was a really good place to stop with Vegeta finally showing up, even though he's in the wrong place. I also apologize for the lack of Trunks POV content. I didn't want to write through his entire journey through Los Nochas, so you guys probably won't see him again until Emi does.
Anyways! Thanks as always for the reads, reviews, follows and favs! You guys are awesome!
