Authors Note: See! I told you I didn't forget about this story! I've just been super busy. I didn't want to post this until I worked out as many kinks as I could. I had a plan of how I wanted this to go...but these characters tend to have a mind of their own, and well, the outcome, is NOT what I had planned. But oh well. You'll still love it...I hope.
I've strayed from the Taylor Swift lyrics for now...but they will be coming back in future chapters.
This has not been read over by the lovely alwayscastle2 as our lives have been super busy and we've not talked since Monday. I'm kinda bored in my little corner of the country.

The next morning, Alexis drives her parents to JFK Airport, along with Martha, seeing the newlyweds off for their three week honeymoon. Kate wraps Alexis in her arms, holding the girl close to her.
"You sure you're going to be okay while we're gone?" Kate asks for the thousandth time.
Alexis nods, "I'll be fine, Mom. Don't worry. I've got Gram, Ryan and Esposito. You and Dad just enjoy your honeymoon."
Kate smiles. She's got to remember to thank her boys for looking out for her daughter while she's away. "Okay. Just remember that your Dad and I are only a phone call away; don't worry about timezones, we will always answer for you, got it?"
"Understood."
"Okay," hugging the teen once more, Kate whispers, "I love you, Lex."
"Love you too, Mom."
After Rick and Alexis say their goodbyes, the couple heads off to towards the security check point. Once they're past all the security, they make their way to the gate and wait for their flight to start boarding.
Settling down next to Kate, Rick reaches for her hand and laces their fingers, bringing her hand up for a soft kiss. "You okay?"
Kate smiles and nods, "Yeah, I'm fine."
"Kate."
"I just - it's crazy, Rick, she's not my daughter biologically, but I already miss Alexis like crazy."
"You've been a part of her life for over five years, Kate. It's not crazy to miss her. You're more of a mother to her than her own, and I love you for that. She looks up to you, admires you, comes to you when she needs help with something she's afraid to come to me about. That is what makes a mother, Kate. Not genetics."
Kate squeezes his hand. "You always know what to say to calm me down."
"Well," he says, leaning down and kissing her softly. "I'm your husband, it's my job."
"I love the way that sounds," she says, leaning in and kissing him. "Did you ever think we'd make it here?"
He nods, "Yeah. I knew a long time ago we would."
"Oh, don't start with the 'love at first sight' talk."
"It's true, Kate. I've loved you since you tapped on my shoulder at my book launch. I remember thinking: I've never seen such gorgeous hazel eyes in my life, what do I have to do to wake up to them every day?"
"Oh, stop," Kate says, hiding her face from him so he can't see the blush on her cheeks.
He chuckles, "You wanted to know. But, Kate, I wouldn't change a thing about our past because it led us here."
"Really? You wouldn't change anything?"
"No. Every choice I've ever made, ever terrible, wonderful thing that's happened to me - has led me to right here, this moment with you."

It takes everything in her to not drag him to the tiny airplane bathroom. She's been trying to keep her need for him at bay since his words at JFK. After finally landing in Honolulu, and retrieving their bags, they make their way to a man holding a sign that reads: Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Castle.
She cuddles into his side on the ride to their resort, snaking her hand under his shirt, smiling at the warmth of his stomach under her palm. She angles her head and kisses his neck softly, gaining a kiss on her forehead in return.
"Kate," he warns her in a whisper, "you have to stop doing that, or this man will be getting a show."
She bites his neck softly, "Then he'd better drive faster. I want you."
After what seemed like hours, when really it was only minutes, they arrive at their home for the next three weeks. Rick quickly checks them in, and is told that their bags are already waiting in the room.
"Enjoy your stay, Mr. and Mrs. Castle."
Kate smiles, eyeing her husband. "We will."
The doors to the elevator close behind them, and Rick instantly has Kate pinned to the cool metal walls, his lips on her neck, and knee between her legs.
She instantly threads her fingers through his hair, and gasps, "God, Rick!"
"You've been driving me crazy all day, Kate," he groans, kissing along her jaw until he reaches her lips, bruising them with his fierce kiss.
Kate wraps a leg around his hip, grinding her heated center against his hardening length. "Payback, babe."
The ding of the elevator causes them to break apart. They've arrived to their floor. Stumbling through the doors and down the hall to their room number takes far too much concentration for them.
Pushing their way through the door, Rick turns, and much like the night her walls came down, slams her up against the back of it and attacks her mouth. She claws at his back, he's everywhere around her; her lips, her neck, her jaw, her chest.
"Rick," she groans, feeling his knee return to give her delicious pressure once more. Her hands rake down his chest before reaching the hem and tugging it up and over his head. She allows herself a brief moment of adoration before she attacks his neck. They have three weeks; she's going to thoroughly mark him, and she's sure he's going to do the same to her.
"Bed," she whispers, "take me to bed, Rick."
His hands travel to the back of her thighs and she hops, wrapping them around his waist. He can feel the heat radiating from her center, and he's sure she can feel his erection through their last pieces of clothing. He gently lays her down on the bed, reaching between them to slip his hands down her jeans.
She bites her lip, and arches her back when his fingers begin to tease her. "You're so wet, Kate. So ready for me."
Her hips move on their own accord, meeting his teasing fingers stroke for stroke. "Always, Rick. You do this to me. Only you."
She whimpers at the loss of his fingers, opening her eyes to find him yanking her pants and black lace thong down her legs - the cool air of the room hitting her heated flesh sends goose bumps across her body.
His pants and boxers soon follow, and he settles between her legs. She wraps one arm around his shoulders, and settles her hand on his cheek, pulling him down to her for a sweet kiss. He rests his forehead on her's after their kiss.
"Are you sure? You don't think we'll hurt the baby?"
Kate shakes her head, "Babe, the baby is the size of a pea, it'll be fine."
"You're positive?"
"The baby will be fine," Kate states again, moving her hips in an attempt for friction. "But Daddy might not be if he doesn't remind Mommy how she ended up pregnant."
"Noted," the tip of his manhood rests at her opening, and her eyes close. He pulls away just long enough to brush an unruly curl from her face. "Open your eyes, I want to see you."
Kate obey's, gazing up at him through lust filled eyes. "Please," she whispers. He nods, and holds her gaze as he glides easily inside her, her mouth open in a silent moan. "I love you, Rick."
"I love you too, Kate," he whispers, "I love you so much."

Collapsing against her husband's chest, she smiles happily. "Wow."
"Agreed," Rick says, threading his fingers through her hair.
Kate kisses his chest before turning towards him, resting her chin on her hands. "We've always been amazing, but who knew it would get better after we were married?"
Rick chuckles, "I don't know, honey. It could be the hormones?"
"No, I don't think so. It's still a bit early for that," she says shaking her head, and he raises his eyebrows at her in question. "When you were asleep on the plane I may or may not have read up on what to expect in the coming months. I've never done this, so I want to be at least a little bit prepared."
"You are happy about this - the baby, aren't you?" he asks.
"Of course! It's still just so new to me, I haven't quite wrapped my head around it," she answers, and he nods, but she knows he's still worried. "Hey, listen to me. I was serious when I said that I wanted to have your baby, Rick. You've done this before, I haven't. Believe me when I tell you that I'm already so in love with this tiny human that I can't imagine a life without it. I want this baby. So much, and who ever comes after it. I want this life with you."
He smiles, pulling her in for a long slow kiss. "I believe you, Kate."
"You better," she grins. "I love you."
"I love you too," he kisses her again. "Both of you."
You win my love
You win my soul
You win my heart

You win my love
You make my motor run
You win my love, yeah you're number one
