309Toa Solaric: Surprised that I'm doing another one-shot? This will be a Kamen Rider Zi-O fic. I won't usually support anyone else if they did, but my friend got me to do this one especially if it involved that damn Rebellion movie.
Disclaimer: I don't own Kamen Rider Zi-O or Puella Madoka Magica Rebellion! For those who never finished either of the series, they should stay out or else…!
Zi-O: King's Revolt
Ch1: Zi-O's Awakening
In a dark room, Woz is seen sitting on a wooden chair and looking through a book.
"Normal high schooler Sougo Tokiwa, destined to become demonic king of time, Ohma Zi-O." Woz announced, "His power will be awakening once more as he walks the path to his destiny here." He soon closed his book before everything turned dark as Woz vanished completely.
A year has passed for Sougo in his new high school. Though he still being made fun of his dream, he least has one good friend in the pink-haired girl known as Madoka Kaname. He was about to leave for school when Woz standing in front of the door.
"Before you, my Maou. I want you to have this." Woz said, giving a strange gray device to the young boy.
Sougo looks at the device and noticed that it resembled a watch. But there were no marks, numbers, or ways to measure the time.
"What is this? A Watch?" Sougo asked, looking at the strange object in his hand.
"It's a lucky charm, my Maou," Woz answered. "Promise me that you would keep it with you at all times."
Though Sougo finds this watch strange, he didn't want to make his caretaker feel bad.
"Thanks, Woz. I will keep it in mind." Sougo responds, placing it in his backpack. "I will see you later." He said before leaving through the garage.
He soon grabbed a bike parked near the gate in front of his home. He wheeled it out onto the street before walking towards the road where he could ride it. As he did, he watched as students wearing the same uniform laughed and walked around him. Most of them happily looking forward to a new day while Sougo just yawned, wishing he could get a few more minutes of sleep. Sougo turned as the Karate club for his school jogged past him for their Morning club activity. They all chanted as they kept pace, the club captain stopping and jogging alongside Sougo.
"Yo, Tokiwa!" he greeted, "Hey, is it true you said in your guidance meeting you wanted to be a King?" he laughed, slapping his shoulder loudly.
"Ah… haha… yeah…" Sougo chuckled as the sting was sharp.
"Hahaha… that's just like you! Sougo! You got to get over that stuff!" he laughed, "You need some sense knocked into you!"
Suddenly there was a whistle blow and startled Sougo and others.
"That is far enough!" A familiar voice shouted. Coming toward them was a teenage girl who has pink eyes and long bright pink hair that is tied into a ponytail with a red ribbon.
"Serious, Kaname! You still hang around this dork?" One of the club members remarked.
"He is my friend!" Madoka Kaname protest.
"He is beyond lost with his dream of a king!"
"He is not lost!" Madoka continued while standing her ground.
The captain of the karate club sigh, "Come on, guys. It not worth arguing with her." He said, briefly glance at Sougo. "You're a waste on someone like her, Tokiwa." He and other members of the Karate club soon moved on ahead.
"Are you okay, Sougo?" Madoka asked, coming toward her friend.
"Don't worry, Madoka-chan. They didn't do anything…" Sougo assured to his only friend to calm her down. "You know that everyone thinks my dream is silly…"
"But I don't," Madoka said as the two continued heading to their school together.
"Even so, it still strange… I felt that I need to make it happen, but I don't know." Sougo responds with a solemn expression. "Then again, Woz gave me this weird luck charm this morning." He shows Madoka the strange blank watch from his pocket.
"What kind of charm is that?" Madoka asked, confused. It wasn't long until she takes it and gets a better look at it.
When Madoka touched the strange watch, she suddenly felt something inside her shatter more and making her eyes widen.
"I don't know, but if Woz says that I need it. He is usually right about that." Sougo mutter, not notice the reaction from Madoka. "What do you think, Madoka-chan…?"
Madoka didn't seem to respond while stares at Sougo's lucky charm before the pinklette noticed Sougo who stares at her, waiting for her to respond.
"Y-yeah, your guardian always unpredictable," Madoka answered before returning to the watch to him. "Anyway, I need to head to my class now… see you around." She said in a sudden hurry and left.
What got into her? Sougo thought confused before letting out a shrugged.
Sougo went to the area around the school where he parked his bike and locked it up. He soon got up and take his backpack with him as he is heading for his class.
Unknown to the high schooler, he was being watched by an unknown force beyond his understanding and his soon normal days won't be the same anymore.
In what looks like an unknown room, there is a young girl with long black hair and violet colored eyes sitting in what looks like a throne-like chair. There is a red ribbon on top of her hair. She happens to be wearing a dark black dress.
She stares intensely in the mirror at the male teenager who was walking with Madoka earlier: Sougo Tokiwa.
"How? How did you break the seal on Madoka?" The black-haired girl wondered with a furious expression.
There is no way that someone who looks average could break the seal that she placed on Madoka to keep her in this world. The seal she created with the power she stolen from Madoka to keep her from being used by those pests known as Incubators.
With her power and memories sealed, she could've kept Madoka in the mortal world than being away from her.
But somehow this boy was able to do something beyond her foresight.
"Who in the world are you, Sougo Tokiwa?" The black-haired girl questioned sharply before using her power to find out what she could learn about him.
Soon the imagine of Sougo Tokiwa suddenly shifted in front of her and replaced with something that makes her eyes widen in shock.
Garbed in a black bodysuit, a silver wristwatch strap went down from beneath his neck, over his chest and down stopping right above the knees. Another strap, this one golden, was wrapped around him starting from his left shoulder and wrapped all the way around. On his back were two silver clock hands pointed downward and acting as some sort of cape. To his right was the hour hand and to his left was the minute hand. Black and golden armor covered his upper torso and shoulders with grey metal pocket watch-like devices attached to the right side, acting as if they were medals. Wrapped around his arms were golden bands as on his forearms were golden strap holders with two circular slots in each of them. Golden kneepads protected his knees as his lower legs were donned in armor boots with golden steel toes with the boots themselves being mostly black and gold. Covering his entire head was a clock-like helmet. Small diamonds were embedded into a golden frame that surrounded a black faceplate. Three small sundials were located right above the forehead with two gold clock hands pointed out on the front of the helmet with the hour hand pointed to the left while the minute hand was pointed to the right. A white logo located on the forehead read 'Kamen' in katakana while the visor read in red, flaming letters 'Rider' in katakana. Finally, around the man's waist was a golden belt buckle device with a digital screen in the center as the year '2018' was displayed in red.
The black-haired girl wasn't sure who he was… but she can feel a resonance in the power that he wielded. The power to manipulated time.
How is it possible that someone like you being here? You didn't appear in any of the timelines that I went through. When I'm the only one who possessed the power to manipulated time here… Her thought while getting over the fact that there is someone with similar power like her.
But one thing she noticed about Sougo Tokiwa. He wasn't giving off any radiation of power like what she saw early and it possible that he is just a mere human now.
"I will make sure you won't be a threat to this world…" The black-haired girl said before she snapped her finger.
It wasn't long until there was pitch black darkness that emerged with a hideous creature with wings and mouth presence. The black-haired girl stares at the Witch in front of her before giving her command.
"Destroy the boy known as Sougo Tokiwa…" The black girl commanded.
The hideous creature let out a chuckle before vanished straight into the shadow.
It was during lunchtime that Madoka was seen staring out of the window after her class was finished. But there seems to be something different about the way she stares out at the school was in.
How could this happen? Madoka thought, stares out of the window. Nothing was interesting in the sky but only clouds and birds.
Though she questions around, it does conclude that she is the only one aware. Everyone didn't seem to notice what was going on and she knows who could've done it.
What am I going to do? Madoka thought sorrow.
"Madoka-chan!" A familiar voice calling her out of her thought was none other than Sougo with his lunch.
"Hey Sougo," Madoka greets with a smile. Something about Sougo's presence seems to drag her out of the mood from earlier.
"Do you want to come and eat lunch with me?" Sougo asked.
"Why not?" Madoka soon gets her lunch from her class and accompany Sougo to the rooftop of the school building.
They soon sat down near the shade and sat down together.
"So… everything alright with you?" Sougo asked sudden.
"W-What are you talking about, Sougo?" Madoka looks at her friend with a confused expression at the sudden question.
"Well, you seem… different when I saw you stare out the window early." Sougo said, "did something happened in class?" he asked.
"No, there is nothing wrong… Sougo," Madoka answered.
Sougo wasn't sure how he responded to that. He knows there is something that might be bothering Madoka even after becoming friends with her last year.
"Alright, Madoka. If you need anything let me—" Before Sougo could even finish his sentence, Madoka interrupted him first with widening eyes and her shout.
"SOUGO, LOOK OUT!"
But the warning turns out to be too late as Sougo was snatched away by dark tentacles coming out of a strange black portal from nearby.
"AAAAHHH!"
Madoka tried to reach out to Sougo for, but she couldn't get him out with the black portal closed on her in the instant.
"Sougo!" Madoka cried out.
She soon shakes her head and has a serious expression.
"I won't let you die, Sougo..." She said before turning around and start running.
It wasn't long until Sougo falls out of the street with his clothes being dirty by the mud that was in presence. He let out a soft groan and got himself up from the ground.
"What in the world was that?" Sougo groans with confusion.
It wasn't long until his eyes become wide as he was no longer on the rooftop of his school anymore. He was in a city with evil and creepy looking like building as they stare back at him.
T-This looks like something from one of those creepy horror videogames others bragged about being scary… Sougo thought.
"What the hell…" Sougo muttered under the circumstance.
Though he doesn't know what is going, the only thing Sougo knows that he needs to get out of here.
But he didn't know that there weren't any exits as he was searching through the creepy place. No matter how far he searches around the strange place, there doesn't seem to be a way out for him.
Just then he heard a twisted laugh, making Sougo flinches. The boy turned to dodge the incoming tentacles and saw the monster in presence.
Sougo let out a scream before running away from the monster. The monster soon followed the young man from behind as the monster is crawling after him at rapid speed.
"You can't hide from me, foolish human!" The monster growls in a childish voice.
Sougo was seeing catching his breath after finding a place where that monster couldn't find him. He was hiding in a narrow alley. His school uniform is tattered and there were some bruises on his face.
He doesn't know how long he had been there, but he knows that he needs to get out of here. Somehow.
"Sougo!" Madoka's voice caught his attention as it was not far from where he was.
"Madoka-chan?" Sougo startled with surprise expression. How did his friend end up here? Does she know that the monster is still chasing him?
"Sougo, where are you?" Madoka asked with a more worried tone.
Sougo soon made up his mind and come out of the narrow hallway before he noticed that his friend isn't around.
"Madoka-chan! Where are you?" Sougo asked.
"I'm over here," Sougo turned around and his eyes widen in hurry to see the monster who spoke in Madoka's voice.
Before Sougo could react, the monster suddenly throws it's many tentacles at him and smacks him hard across the floor. Unknown to Sougo and the monster, the lucky charm that Woz entrust to him fall from his pocket before landing in front of Sougo.
"Hahahaha! You should've seen the look on your face when I used her voice!" The monster laughing in a sadist tone. "You're truly foolish, mortal!"
"I will not forgive you for doing that… I will not die here…" Sougo said, grabbing the lucky charm with his hand as he gets himself up from the ground. "… Because I'm going to become King!" he declared with a serious conviction.
Sougo then gained a headache as he held the unusual watch in his hand as images started flashing into his head.
A monster charging at people.
An armored warrior fighting against a monster.
A Red Rider fighting him.
The Red Rider fighting beside him.
A Golden Armored Warrior standing like a God.
And then him transforming into Zi-O
Woz smiling as he handed him the device on a pillow
Suddenly lucky charm in his hand glows and changed as it gains color and an image. The image on it was a face while having the year 2018, corresponding with the year he represented. Sougo's eyes widened as he looked back at the Monster and then he took a deep breath as an odd belt— It's black, the edges around the center being pearl gray while the interior was clear and tinted. Two black slots were on both sides of the buckle itself.
He snapped his Riderwatch on as he raised it to the sky and shouted, "Henshin!"
ZI-O!
Suddenly time around him stopped except for Sougo as a large clock formed behind him.
RIDER TIME! KAMEN RID~ER ZI-0!
The transparent clock behind revealed purple katakana lettering. Metal bands began to shroud him; purple light enveloping his body. When the bands burst along with the light, it covered the young man in a black bodysuit.
Over the bodysuit was black armor with a silver metal girding that resembles a wristwatch, running from the center of the chest armor and down to the belt. The collar area was raised, bearing a periwinkle color alongside the underside of the shoulder and chest armor. The bright violet stripe was running alongside it.
Hugging his forearms were gauntlets that held one other device like the watch on his belt while the other three spots were left empty. His armored gloves being a bright violet color alongside the fingers.
The knee pads and elbows were shaped as the knobs of a watch while purple lining was seen on the upper edge of the lower leg armor. Cuffed around the shin were gray bands and a pair of armored shoes with the front ends being a steel gray color.
The katakana lettering burst before solidifying toward his helmet. The helmet itself having the arms of a clock that is nearly shaped like a V. Once the purple visor assembled itself onto his armor, it completed the transformation.
"What in the world are you!?"
"I'm Kamen Rider Zi-O!" Zi-O declared.
The Monster soon reacts by throwing multiple tentacles at the Kamen Rider. But a sword appears out of Zi-O's belt and cuts them down before land in Zi-O's hand.
ZIKAN GIRADE!
It had a long double-edged pointed blade that grew narrower towards the point like an arrowhead. A white arrow forming along the side of the blade before it came to the crossguard part which had rounded connection to an interesting handle. It once more had this little watch part as per Zi-O's prevailing gimmick, and a black handle with a green trigger. Pink katakana characters formed on the sword and read Ken.
Zi-O soon rushed forward with his sword in hand to block an incoming fireball from the Monster before he grunted and kicked it away. Zi-O swung upward as he hit the Monster, making it stumble back once more, Zi-O then slashing the Monster again as he left a pink streak in the air with his swing.
The Monster soon spread its wings and leap into the air before firing fireballs on Zi-O. Zi-O moves out of the way of the fireballs by hiding behind a large trashcan.
"That's close…" Zi-O said before looking over the sword, "Let's see…" he muttered, flipping the blade back as it shrank in length and folded around.
ZYU!
Soon his weapon becomes a gun and Zi-O come out as the Rider faces the Monster with energy bullets, hitting one of the wings to disrupt its balance in the air. The Monster soon falls from the air and dropped to the ground.
"Time to finish this!" Zi-O spoke as he reached his hand and tapped the button on his RideWatch.
FINISH TIME!
With that, Zi-O hit the button atop the Ziku-Driver, making it tilt again. The Monster tried to move but it couldn't due to being soon surrounded by floating letters all spelling Kick in Katakana. They floated around in time with the ticking from the ZikuDriver.
Zi-O soon finally spun his belt.
TIME BREAK!
Zi-O jumped into the air as he aimed his leg forward. The letters surrounding the monster began merging back into one single version before flying and slamming to the sole of Zi-O's boot. Layering over letters already etched into it. Zi-O roared as he shot forward as pink fire like energy formed around his leg as he slammed into the monster. It cried in shock as the resulting impact was so powerful, it created a huge explosion. Zi-O skid across the ground as the monster and the dimension around him vanished completely.
"With that monster gone, I'm back in this world…" Zi-O said as he noticed that he wasn't in the creepy place anymore.
Zi-O soon glances at a nearby window that shows his reflection.
"Why can't I remember everything clear?" Zi-O ponders confused.
"The only reason why you don't remember who you are because you don't belong here." A new voice said.
Zi-O turned around and facing the black-haired girl with the ribbon on her hair.
"Who are you…?" Zi-O asked, confused. But for some reason, he can't help feel the shiver down his spine when staring at her.
"I won't let someone keep existence to get in the way of me and Madoka!" The black-haired girl shouts before she fired the black terror of flame at Zi-O.
Before the black flame hit Zi-O, a bright pink light from out of nowhere appear and take Zi-O away from her. The black-haired girl sees that the pink light moving far out of the city limit.
"Why do you stand in my way, Madoka!?" The black-haired girl growls before calling for more monsters to go after the pink light.
But the monsters themselves were destroyed by a powerful large orb of fire that came out of nowhere. This made the girl gritted her teeth in angry before another one coming in her direction.
But she used her bare hand to stop the fireball and make it disappeared in the brief second.
"So, he isn't the only one who interferes…" The black-haired girl muttered before she decided to leave for now.
With how weak Zi-O's power than what she felt after seeing with her vision, there is no reason for her to stains her hand with his blood. It doesn't mean she will allowed the boy to reached his full potential.
It wasn't long until the city vanished as the scene return to Woz who is holding his book and looking straight at the audiences.
"As Sougo Tokiwa awakened his power as Kamen Rider Zi-O, encounter the Devil known as Homura Akemi who rules this world with her manipulation, but he is saved at the last moment by an unknown ally," Woz said, standing in the darkroom. "However, this won't be last he saw of Homura but he won't be able to last against her at his current state. The only way he can defeat her and freed the people from her manipulation will regain the power of Ohma Zi-O once more."
"How you ask? You'll find out… for this is the first many chapters of King's Revolt against the Devil," Woz said with a smirk before everything turned to pitch black.
AN: That's the end of the first chapter and one-shot here. This is after the event of Zi-O and the event of Rebellion movie, but with a different twist on that ending for Zi-O with Sougo and his loyal Woz on a new journey here. Without Tsukuyomi and Geiz. I know about the Geiz special, but I don't like that movie especially how they make Another DiEnd if anyone watching it. But I did like how Accel and Birth make their returnXD
