9Chapter 4: Trial by battle! Ryuki World!

Seanzilla: Well...I got good news and bad news. The Good news, I got the new charger for my laptop yesterday. The bad news...the part where I insert the charger is worn out, so I need to be careful; otherwise I can't use my laptop.
GammaTron: Oh my.
Seanzilla: Yeah...right now I got it in this one, sweet spot so it can work. So I can't move it. Plus, I have to make sure my cat doesn't get on it. But..aside from that, I'm getting back to work on this story...again.
GammaTron: Right. *discreetly throws away the flamethrower* Anyways, let's move on to the Disclaimer! …*turns to off-screen* Ellie-sama, that's your cue.
Ellie the Hedgewolf: *runs in, panting a bit* H...hai. Seanzilla or GammaTron don't own anything in this story except their OCs, including me and Roll-chan. The Sonic the Hedgehog franchise is owned by SEGA while Toei owns the Kamen Rider Series.
Seanzilla: Thanks Ellie-chan. Demo...why were you…?
Ellie the Hedgewolf: I...I was training.
Seanzilla: ...That explains the female sports attire.
GammaTron: *nods* Let's move on out!

Tendou: The photos will give true meaning when the world accepts him.
Cream: I'm glad...that I was able...to meet you.
"Hey...Just where is this?!" Kagami demanded as the world began to spin around him as the sound of a girl giggling echoed.
"A path has been opened for you by Kivaara," Kagami turned to see Tendou and Miyuki standing across from him.
"Tendou? Nee-chan?" Kagami pondered.
"Good luck, Nii-chan," Miyuki waved, "And make sure to come back with some souvenirs!"
"Eh?!" Kagami exclaimed before the little bat flew before him, "Hm? A Komouri-chan?"
"Follow me...Follow me…" the bat giggled before she flew off.
"Ah!" Kagami yelped as he turned, only to see he was now alone in a strange void resembling some sort of film.
Slowly, the 'film' settled down to reveal he was standing in a large forest with trees so tall that one couldn't even see the sky.
"...Where am I?" Kagami pondered as he looked around the area.
A splash earned his attention. He turned and blinked twice, trying to make sure he wasn't seeing things. Floating above a small puddle was a massive metallic red Chinese Dragon with a silver underbelly and a gold line dividing the two colors. A figure in a cloak was standing before it, patting its snout before the dragon flew into the air and then directly down at the puddle. Kagami's eyes widened as he saw the dragon go into the water, yet it didn't splash or show evidence of it being in contact with it.
"A dragon that fuses with water? What is going on?" Kagami pondered before the bat flew around him and then off, "Oi! Kivaara!"
"Who's there?!" the cloaked figure demanded, making Kagami froze.
"...Crap," Kagami finally spoke.
Tsukasa was the first out. Gazing about, he turned to the studio to see it had become a two-storied wooden hut with hints of metal on it, almost like a pure blend of technology and organic. Strangely, the sign remained the same despite the changes. As he moved back from the building to look around, the veil appeared above him and wash over him without notice.
"Oh! Those look interesting!" Roll noted as she walked out, "You look like a soldier."
Tsukasa raised a brow before looking at his reflection on the building's metal parts. Gone was his usual attire. Replacing it was a camouflage vest over a black short-sleeved shirt and camouflage pants. He seemed all too ready for some sort of spying mission or assault.
"Can't you be mature?" Tsukasa deadpanned as Nicole and Ellie walked out.
"Did we arrive in another world?" Nicole asked as she looked about.
"It seems that way," Ellie noted as she looked around as well.
"Hm?" Roll plucked a wallet sticking out of Tsukasa's vest, "Let's see what it says, ne?"
"Must you do that?" Tsukasa frowned as Roll avoided him while peeking at his wallet.
"...'Photojournalist?'" Roll read before she and Nicole stared at each other and then at Tsukasa in suspicion.
"Oi, oi, oi! What's that look for?!" Tsukasa demanded, "Oi! Now why are you giving looks of disbelief?!"
"Well...don't you think it's too much of a coincidence that you got that job?" Nicole asked.
"No. This world obviously knows my talents are great," Tsukasa smirked.
'Then why does everyone keep demanding refunds when you take pictures?' Roll and Nicole sweatdropped.
Ellie tilted her head in confusion. She didn't really get what they were so negative about. She liked those photos that were developed. Her ears twitched as she looked around. Was that...something ringing?
"...Ano...minna?" the female hedgewolf spoke, catching the three's attention, "Don't you hear that?"
"Eh? Hear wha…?" Roll began before she heard the ringing noise as well, "...Nani?"
"What are you two talking about?" Nicole asked, "I don't hear a thing."
Ellie and Roll noticed something in their reflections on the metal parts of the 'house.' White thread, almost like webbing, was wrapped around their necks. Before either could react, the string tugged and both yelped as they were flung towards the reflections and entered them?!
"Wh-What?!" Nicole gasped as Tsukasa put the DecaDriver on.
"Tch. So it's a Ryuki World," Tsukasa noted, "Henshin!"
=KAMENRIDE:=
Before the DecaDriver, a red circle appeared with a bar in the middle reading 'KAMEN RIDE.' Tsukasa closed the side of the DecaDriver. The bar rose up with a small white bar reading 'DECADE' appearing below it before Decade's emblem appeared over that.
=DECADE!=
The nine film-like images appeared before Tsukasa before moving in a circle to collide with his body, forming the armor of Decade minus its ten 'cards.' The images before his DecaDriver changed into seven energy cards that connected to Decade's mask and filled in his body with its magenta coloring. Decade rolled his shoulders before jumping at the reflective surface and entering it as well. Nicole ran over to see Decade on the other side, running in the direction the girls had been pulled.
Destroyer of Worlds, Decade. What do those eyes see as he travels through 9 worlds?
*The screen suddenly moved out, revealing it to be on a 'card.' The 'card' connected to the center of Decade's mask as the scene cut to his head turning to the screen, the Rider standing in a scene of various photo films in the shapes of rising spirals, spinning cubes, and diagonal lines*

*It cut to a photoshop, where Tsukasa sat in a black chair with red velvet. It cut to a headshot of him as the girls each had a hand over his eyes, uncovering them to let him stare at the screen. It began to cut to zoom-ins on his left eye before changing to an old camera that faded to his own camera as his hands were shown adjusting a lens on it before cutting to the images of the first nine Heisei Riders moving from the center of the jewel to their respective symbols on the DecaDriver before cutting to a moving shot of the Machine Decader in a battlefield still smoking from explosives*
seiza no you sen de musubu shunkan hajimaru legend (Like a constellation, the instant the lines connect it starts a legend)
*It cut to a construction sight where the images of Kuuga, Kabuto, Faiz, Hibiki, Den-O Sword Form, Blade, Agito, Kiva, and Ryuki were appearing and disappearing in various poses. The scene then let Roll and Nicole appear in white dresses, the two holding a glass jar with a developing roll of film. It cut to them raising the jar above their heads before cutting to Tsukasa in the strange space with the film in various shapes and sizes once more, outside of Henshin. It cut to Kagami, resting beside his Gatack Extender with the Gatack Zecter on his shoulder, the darken image of the first nine primary Heisei Riders fading in and out on the screen as it changed to the two girls dropping the jar*
aurora yurameku jikuu wo koete (Aurora passing through the flickering time)
*The scene cut to two cuts of ghostly images of the Heisei Riders as they charged for battle. It cut to the jar crashing before switching to Tsukasa in a headshot, freezing up as he fell to the left, the right side of his face transforming into the nine Heisei Riders' masks one after another in the order of their canon*
tobikomu meisou suru Parallel world (Dive into the straying Parallel World)
*It cut to a far shot of the two girls standing at the back of the nine Heisei Riders as they prepared to do battle. It then cut to a medium shot of the girls, looking at the screen, with bits of some of the Riders in the shot*
On the road dare mo tabi no tochuu honto no jibunjishin deau tame (On the road, everyone is on a journey in order to find their real selves)
*It cut to Decade as he turned to the camera as it zoomed out, revealing the Heisei Riders as the began to surround the tenth Rider. It then cut to Tsukasa as he put on a pair of goggles before it cut to Decade pulling out his RideBooker in Sword Mode as it began to go through multiple action shots of him fighting the other Riders, explosions erupting in the background*
atarashii yoake e to tsuzuku michi ni kawaru no darou (I will be changed on the road that heads on to a new dawn)
*It cut to Tsukasa looking up as Roll and Nicole held out his camera to him before cutting to Decade doing a twirl as he dodged Agito in his charge and stabbed Kuuga in the gut*

*It cut him doing a kick to the screen in the photo space before cutting to a medium shot of him kicking Kiva as an explosion erupted in the background. It began to cut through multiple fighting shots before it began to zoom in on Decade in the fighting. It proceeded to cut to a shot of Decade driving through a mist to an AR World, shattering it. As he drove past the screen, another mist appeared with the nine Heisei Riders appearing in ghostly forms before turning into their symbols before the title appeared over the nine images as they turned into Decade's symbol*

Photo 4: Trial By Battle! Ryuki World!
Decade drove along a barren street on his Machine Decader. He had to admit that it was interesting and a bit unnerving. A parallel world to the world where everything was reflected. The only thing not reflected were living beings. Up ahead, Roll and Ellie whimpered as their heads were pressed against each other. Currently, the two were stuck on a large spider's web in cocoons made of webs that went up to their necks.
"Wh-What's going to happen to us?" Ellie whimpered.
"I don't know," Roll replied as her face was turning red, "But I'm getting a bit dizzy from being upside-down for so long now."
Ellie gave a shaky nod in response. She may have come from a sekai with various bug-themed riders...but there was one kind of bug she was deathly afraid of: Spiders. Even if they're not actually bugs, they still scared her. Roll looked 'up' (up in her view) and blinked twice.
"Uh...Ellie?"
"H...hai, Roll-san?"
"Whatever you do, do not look up," Roll advised.
Coming down one of the threads was a large bronze/orange spider the size of a small car. The eight legs were all a crystal-blue/metallic-blue and all ended in pointed tips. Where the spider's face should have been was the upper body of a humanoid creature in the same coloring as the spider with claw-like hands resembling mandibles. The face's lower half was a set of three swollen silver bulbs while the upper half was just smooth with no eyes or facial features. Ellie's ear twitched as she slowly looked up before paling, her pupils shrinking to the size of dots.
"Sp...spi-...s-s-spsp..." The hedgewolf whispered before letting out an ear-piercing scream, one that even made the spider creature hold its ears...that is, if it had ears.
=ATTACKRIDE: BLAST=
A series of magenta shots slammed into the spider Kaijin, causing it to fall off its web. A few shots tore into parts of the web, causing Roll to flip. Unfortunately, the flip caused her to end up face-to-face with Ellie, their faces not even inches apart.
"At least...At least you're not upsidedown, h-hai?" Ellie blushed.
"...If we're in America, I'm pleading the Fifth…" Roll blushed as Decade stopped his motorcycle near the spider.
"A Dispider Revived, huh?" Decade pondered as the Mirror Monster got up and growled at him, "This should be easy...or hard. Whichever of the two," he then looked at the two girls, "You two get out of here while I deal with itsy bitsy over here." He advised before facing the Dispider Revived before looking back up, "Also, next time, you two should save anything lovey dovey for safer places."
Before Roll could reply, Ellie grabbed her and zipped out of there, the hedgewolf's Arachnophobia still in effect. Decade pulled out a card and inserted it. The holographic image of 'KAMENRIDE' appeared once more, but instead had 'Kamen Rider Kabuto' and the 'ZECT' emblem displaying.
=KAMENRIDE: KABUTO=
Hexagonal tachyon energy raced over Decade, turning his armor into Kabuto Rider Form. Roll, watching from nearby, gasped.
"Kabuto...Just like Tendou-san!" Roll exclaimed.
The KabutoZecter was replaced with the DecaDriver. The Dispider Revived was about to jump when D-Kabuto slid another card into his DecaDriver.
=ATTACKRIDE: CLOCK UP=
Time began to slow down all around D-Kabuto. The Despider Revived's movement into jumping slowed to a crawl. D-Kabuto pulled out the RideBooker in Sword Mode and sliced off two of the legs befor shooting two more off, the Mirror Monster hissing in pain the moment Clock Up ended. D-Kabuto appeared before the Dispider Revived's falling form, his back facing the Kaijin.
=FINAL ATTACKRIDE: K-K-K-KABUTO=
Tachyon energy raced up D-Kabuto's horn and then down to his left foot. He proceeded to perform a roundhouse that collided with the Kaijin's face. The Mirror Monster cried out as it exploded. Decade calmly walked up to a shivering tarp and pulled it off, exposing Ellie hugging Roll while shivering.
"Oi...it's gone," Decade stated to the shivering hedgewolf, earning no response from her, "..." he sighed, "I'm gonna have to carry you two out of here, aren't I?"
"Eh?" Roll blinked before noticing small dust-like particles were coming off her and Ellie.
"You're starting to dissolve," Decade informed as he picked them up and put them on the back of his Rider Machine, "You need armor to stay here for long periods of time."
"Huh? Say-what?" Ellie blinked, snapping out of it for a bit before noticing her body starting to dissolve, "Kya!"
"Hold on," Decade advised before revving the motor and drove off, unaware that he was being watched by someone.
"...They've been in there for a while...I hope they're okay," Nicole said in worry as she waited for Tsukasa to return with Ellie and Roll.
"Nicole?" the lynx slowly looked behind her to see Kagami, but younger and wearing just a pair of socks, red shoes with white fronts, and white gloves.
"Yes? That's my name," Nicole replied, "May I ask who you are?"
"It's me, Tails!" the two-tailed fox replied, "You and Aunt Sally went missing almost two months ago! Where have you two been?"
"I'm sorry, but who is Sally?" Nicole asked, causing the fox blink twice.
"Did your memory data get deleted?" Tails asked.
"Excuse me?!" Nicole exclaimed, both confused and somewhat offended by what he said, "Um, Tails, right?"
"Uh-huh," the fox nodded.
"My name is Nicole, but I think you have the wrong lynx," Nicole informed.
"Oh…" his ears went down, "Really?"
"Yes. Are you thinking of some sort of sentient AI that looks like me?" Nicole asked.
Tails nodded, "She went missing with Aunt Sally a while ago and you look a lot like her when she uses her holograms."
"I see…" Nicole noted, "Maybe you can take me around here then? I just moved here and was hoping to see the sights."
"Really?" Tails asked.
"Of course. Just be a bit more careful, okay?" Nicole advised, "You may mistake someone for someone else and they won't take it lightly like I am."
"...O...okay," Tails nodded as Tsukasa, Ellie, and Roll jumped out of the reflective surface behind him.
"Oh! Tsukasa, Roll, Ellie, there you are," Nicole smiled as she turned Tails to them, "Tails, these are my friends that moved here with me; Tsukasa, Roll, and Ellie. Tsukasa is a...photojournalist."
"Why did you say that with a sour tone in your voice?" Tsukasa frowned.
"Roll-chan and Ellie-chan are my roommates," Nicole informed.
"Oi!" Tsukasa snapped at her.
"Wow~! You look like Shinji-Niisan!" Tails noted at Tsukasa.
"He gets that a lot," Roll informed as she covered Tsukasa's mouth.
"Minna, Tails here said he would help give us a tour of this place," Nicole informed.
"I...I'll do my best!" Tails nodded before he noticed the shivering Ellie, "...Is she alright?"
"Hai...Ano, quick question. There aren't any..." Roll began before mouthing 'Spiders here, are there?' To the young fox.
"...Um...I don't think so..." Tails replied, "Why?"
"Her," Tsukasa shrugged at Ellie before taking a picture of Tails, "So, let's go sightseeing."
"Right," Tails replied as they started to walk, "Um...This is Knothole Village. Here, we're safe from Dr. Robotnik and his Roboticizer."
"...Robotnik? Roboticizer?"
"Wow, you guys must be from the other side of the planet," Tails noted, "Dr. Robotnik took over Mobotropolis, the place I was born, and turned it into his capital; Robotropolis a long time ago. I was still in diapers when it happened. Shinji-Niisan can tell you about it better than me since he got to go to the past once with Aunt Sally."
"I see...anything else we need to know?"
"Don't go out of the Great Forest unless you're with a Freedom Fighter," Tails added, "I'm an Honorary member, but I still need someone with me when it's time to go on a raid to get supplies from Robotropolis. Though…"
"Yes?" Roll urged.
"Lately, someone's been dropping off a ton of supplies right outside of Freedom HQ," Tails noted, "No one really knows who's doing it or how, but all of the items aren't marked or carrying tracking devices. And people have been going missing over the last three months; even if they're in a locked room with no windows."
"I see..." Tsukasa noted as he thought, 'If I guess right, this Sekai must belong to Ryuki. Ryuki no Sekai?'
"And this is where the newspapers are made," Tails informed as they walked past a two-storied building, "The Solar News."
"Oh, so this is where you work," Roll noted at Tsukasa, "As a...photojournalist."
"Okay, seriously, stop it with that tone," Tsukasa warned before he collapsed in laughter, Nicole's thumb where his neck had been.
"...What did you just...?" Tails began to ask.
"He does this at times, so we need to help him by hitting a point on his neck," Nicole informed as Tsukasa began to get up in his laughter before falling over.
"N-No fair, you-hahaha-you stinker-hahaha!"
"...Think you can teach me that?" Ellie(having calmed down finally), whispered to Roll.
"D-Don't you-hoohoohoo-dare!" Tsukasa laughed as he started calming down.
"Careful now. It's gonna be hot," a voice advised as Kagami blew on a cup.
Kagami took a sip, "...Umai."
"Thanks!" a hedgehog resembling Tsukasa, but wearing a red trailblazer jacket beamed, "So you say you're Kagami and you're looking for a little white bat named 'Kivaara' that brought you here?"
"Yeah," Kagami nodded, "Thanks for the drink, Shinji-san."
"No problem," the blue hedgehog replied before frowning, "So...How much did you see?"
"Well, all I really saw was you patting that dragon," Kagami replied.
"...That's my partner. 'When there is one left.'"
"Eh?"
"That's what the guy who gave me this said," Shinji informed as he showed him a red deck holder with a gold dragon design on it, "The last Kamen Rider standing with this deck will get a wish. However, I haven't run into any Kamen Riders with this kind of deck since I started a month ago. So, me and Dragredder have been fighting the creatures in the Mirror World, trying to prevent anyone else from getting killed by them."
"...Mirror World?" Kagami asked until...
"And this is where me and Shinji-niisan live. Shinji-Niisan, I brought some guests!" a voice called.
"Oh. That sounds like my little bro," Shinji noted, "Tails! In the living room with a guest!"
"Okay!" Tails replied as he and his 'tour-group' walked in, both Kagami and Tsukasa's eyes widening when they saw each other.
"You?!" Both Kagami and Tsukasa exclaimed, pointing at each other, "What're you doing here?! What am I...Oi! Stop that!"
"Huh? Do you...know each other?" Tails asked before noticing Kagami, "Oh! You look like me!"
"You look like me when I was a little kid," Kagami noted.
"Kagami-san?" Roll pondered.
"Kagami-chan?" Ellie pondered.
"Excuse us," Tsukasa spoke as he dragged Shinji out of the room, "So...You're Ryuki?"
"Yeah. Guess you're the guy that human spoke of."
"Human? You mean Wataru?" Tsukasa asked.
"Yeah," Shinji nodded, "Apparently, you're supposed to be doing something here. If it means you're here to win that fight, no way. I need that wish so I can get back everyone that's gone missing thanks to the Mirror Monsters."
"I see..." Tsukasa noted, "Mind if I join in?"
"..." Shinji's eye twitched, "I just said 'no!'"
"What? I mean tagteam," Tsukasa snorted, "I pull out once we're the last two and you get your wish."
"Yeah, yeah…" Shinji sighed, "If you're another version of me, then that means you're not gonna give up unless I agree."
"Naturally," Tsukasa smirked.
"Fine. We can search for the other Riders tomorrow. Right now, I need to get ready for a date," Shinji informed.
"A date?" Tsukasa repeated, "With who?"
"Apparently, I saved her from a Mirror Monster. How she figured out who I was, I've got no clue. But...It's free eats, so long as I pay for the movie and popcorn," Shinji replied.
"...You remember what she looks like?"
"She asked me directly and let me tell you," Shinji glanced around to make sure no one was listening, "She...is...hot. After she left to get ready for tonight's date, I had to immediately jump into a lake. Course, Dragredder had to check up on me when that happened and then I met Kagami."
"I see...and that leads me to my next..." Tsukasa began until...
"Laughter Pressure Point!" Tsukasa froze up before he collapsed in complete hysterics from the two thumbs hitting his neck.
"Tsukasa no Ero…" Nicole frowned.
"Uh...You're not gonna do that to me, are ya?" Shinji asked nervously as he discreetly held his deck to a full-body mirror behind him.
"No...unless you said something perverted as well," Roll frowned.
"No, no! I didn't say nothing of the sort!" Shinji yelped as he waved a hand before him, sweat going down his face in nervousness before looking at his wrist, "Ah! Look at the time! Need to get ready for a night out! Keep my little bro occupied, okay? Thanks! Welcome to Knothole! And good luck!"
Before the girls could say anything, Shinji went off in a blue blur, which unfortunately messed their hair up.
"..."
"Why are we doing this again?" Kagami asked, "It's kinda rude."
"We just wanna see who he's seeing!" Roll whispered as she, Nicole, Tails, and Ellie peeked out from the bushes they were all hiding in to look at Shinji, wearing his normal jacket, but a small red bowtie on his neck while he stood outside a restaurant.
"This could make front pages if his date is someone famous," Tsukasa noted as he wound up his camera for another picture.
"Oi, oi. Isn't that kinda mean?" Kagami asked, "I mean, I heard about this one actress who killed herself all because of this guy publishing some photos of her and her cousin in movement to hug, but had one piece altered to make it seem like they were kissing and that her cousin was a secret lover for her groom."
"...Tsukasa…" Roll and Nicole began.
"Fine, fine, fine. I won't take them to the newspaper. But I will keep some for blackmailing purposes," Tsukasa informed before quickly adding, "On Shinji, on Shinji. Not on the girl!" the thumbs went down, "Phew…"
"Shh...someone's coming," Ellie whispered as she saw someone approach the restraint Shinji was waiting at.
"Shinji-kun~!" a girl called.
Shinji turned and blushed, really wanting to jump into a lake again. The girl was a yellow-furred mongoose with violet hair that went down to the middle of her back. She was wearing a black and blue one-piece dress that was both formal and for girls who'd like to go places. The top was held on her shoulders by a pair of black straps while her cleavage was exposed at the top.
"Uh...W-Wow. You looks nice…" Shinji blushed, earning a giggle from her.
"Aw~Thanks," the mongoose thanked as she hugged him, "Ready for tonight?"
"Y-Yeah," Shinji nodded.
"Who's that?" Nicole whispered as she noticed Tails looking at her in surprise.
"That's Mina Mongoose. She's a famous singer and songwriter," Tails awed.
"Heh...looks like Shinji scored big with..." Tsukasa began quietly with a grin before Ellie thwacked him on the head with her pointer and middle finger, "Ite!"
"Shh...quiet," Ellie hissed.
"Okay, okay," Tsukasa muttered as he took a photo of the two.
"There they go," Kagami noted as the two entered the restaurant, "...We're going to follow them inside, aren't we?"
"You just had to ask that," Tsukasa muttered as the trio of boys wore bowties while the girls were all in formal dresses, keeping fans over the lower halves of their faces to watch Shinji and Mina talking.
"Well excuse me...I didn't know the girls were going to do this," Kagami whispered to Tsukasa before Ellie shushed the two as they heard Shinji laugh a little.
"You? Seriously? You were the one who managed to put purple dye in his bathwater?" Shinji snickered.
"I'm serious," Mina giggled, "Oh, that was hilarious. Robotnik didn't know what hit him."
"We actually laughed him to retreat that day!" Shinji pointed out, "Bravo, Mina, bravo."
"My friend, Blanc, helped me a lot in getting in and out, so I'll be sure to give her one of your bravos, okay?"
"Okay," Shinji nodded.
"Still...Thanks for saving me that day," Mina thanked with a small blush, "The way you and your dragon fought...It was so beautiful, Naito no Ryuu."
"D-Dragon Knight?" Shinji blushed, "W-Well, I wouldn't say I was a knight…"
"To me, you were," Mina interrupted, taking his hands in her own, "Thanks to you, I can still write songs of hope for everyone."
"Yeah…" Shinji nodded.
Everything seemed fine and well before a ringing went off. Tsukasa frowned as Shinji tensed. Kagami raised a brow, wondering what was up since he didn't hear the ringing.
"Gomen. I need to do a quick powder," Mina informed as she got up and went to the bathrooms.
"Seems I'm up," Tsukasa noted as he watched Shinji go to the men's bathroom, "Oi, Kagari…"
"Ka-ga-mi," Kagami corrected.
"Stay here. Trouble's coming," Tsukasa informed, "And get GattackZecter ready."
"Eh?" Kagami blinked as Tsukasa left, "Oi! What kind of...and he's gone."
"Um...Does that happen often?" Tails asked.
"It does," Roll and Nicole sighed.
Shinji held his deck up to the bathroom mirror. A silver buckle with a rectangle-shaped opening appeared in the mirror before emerging from it, attaching to his waist. He quickly posed.
"Henshin!" Shinji declared before putting the deck into the slot.
Mirror reflections came out of the mirror before covering Shinji. The sound of glass breaking echoed softly in the air before Shinji was replaced by a Kamen Rider. He wore a red bodysuit with silver armor on his torso and helmet. All over, he had silver circular slots on parts of his body. His mask had red bug eyes behind a silver grill with two gold attachments resembling dragon whiskers. On his left lower arm was a guard resembling Dragredder's head. He was about to jump into the mirror when…
=KAMENRIDE: DECADE=
"I thought we agreed I'd be your tag partner," Decade chuckled.
"W...Were you following me?" Ryuki demanded.
"Worry later; fight now," Decade ordered as he jumped into the mirror.
"Ah mou…! Is this like it for others around me?" Ryuki pondered as he jumped in after him.
"Hmm..."
"What's wrong?" Ellie asked Nicole as the girls, Kagami, and Tails left the restaurant.
"It's what Tsukasa said to Kagami...what did he mean by trouble's coming?" The lynx pondered.
"Maybe he heard the ringing," Roll noted.
"Ringing?" Kagami and Tails repeated.
"Ano…" Roll glanced at Tails before laughing, "Nothing. May have been just my imagination, is all!"
"..." Tails just blinked in confusion at that.
'I can't tell Tails-chan about the Mirror World,' Roll thought.
"...What's ringing?" Kagami asked, making Ellie and Roll pale.
Tails and Nicole yelped as a large metallic cobra in purple and silver erupted from a mirror, hissing. Kagami grabbed Tails and rolled out of the way of the snake's biting attempt.
"Wh...what is that thing?!" Nicole gulped.
"Big snake! Big snake!" Roll yelped as she backed up and ended up hitting something behind her, "...Eh?"
She looked up to see a Kamen Rider. He wore a black bodysuit with the same ports that Ryuki had on his body. His torso was covered in purple and silver armor with a gold bar in the middle of the torso. The helmet was primarily purple and had a snake theme to it with a silver mask resembling a grille. His lower legs were covered in purple boots while his deck was purple with a gold snake on it. In his left hand was a staff resembling the snake.
"A Kamen Rider?" Kagami repeated before rolling out of the way of the snake's bite at him.
"We better get out of here," Nicole advised as she grabbed Tails's hand and ran off with Ellie and Roll.
"You vex me," the Rider informed as the snake slithered beside him, "Venosnaker."
The large snake let out a hiss as it slammed it's large tail in front if the fleeing group, blocking their escape path. Kagami grit his teeth.
=STANDBY=
A chitter went off in the air before Venosnake was knocked over by a small blue blur. Kagami aught the blur, revealing it to be GatackZecter.
"Henshin!" Kagami declared as he inserted the Zecter in its place.
=HENSHIN=
"Is he a robot?" Tails asked as he looked at Gatack Masked Form.
"No, Tails. He's...Ano..." Ellie tried to think of something to tell the young fox.
"Kamen Rider," the snake-themed Rider noted, "You vex me even more."
"V...vex?" Ellie repeated before yelping as she grabbed Tails and rolled out of the way before Venosnaker could crush them with its tail.
"Oi!" Gatack shouted before firing a few shots from his shoulder cannons, earning the Mirror Monster's attention, giving the girls enough time to hide with Tails.
The purple Rider snorted before pulling a card from the buckle on his belt. A part of his staff's snake-head rose up and the rider put his card into the raised part before it lowered.
=SWORD VENT=
Gattack rolled out of the way of the snake's biting attempt only to be slashed at by the purple Rider in the back. Gattack turned his head to see that the Rider was now holding a large blade that seemed to be made of layered oranges and silvers. He fired at the Rider, who quickly dodged the shots, and ended up getting whacked into a wall by Venosnaker.
"Ite…" Gattack grunted before flicking the mandibles on his Zecter, causing techyon energy to wash over his armor, loosening it, "Cast Off!"
=CAST OFF!= The two snakes dodged the flying bits of armor as Gattack whipped his blades out =CHANGE: STAG BEETLE=
Gattack roared as he charged while the purple Rider readied himself.
"Why is it that every time it's a Gigazelle...it's a freakin' herd?!" Ryuki demanded to the heavens, slashing at a Mirror Monster.
"How should I know?!" Decade complained as he ducked under a strike from one and kicked it back into two more.
"I'm not asking you!" Ryuki groaned, "I'm asking whoever made this stinkin' place!"
=ADVENT=
Ryuki's dragon flew out, blasting the at Mirror Monsters below with flames. Decade quickly inserted a card into his belt.
=ATTACKRIDE: ILLUSION=
Three Gigazelle tried to jump on Decade, only for three Decade to stab them in the chests with their blades before pulling them out and shooting the three Mirror Monsters into Dragredder's path, letting it burn them to a crisp.
"...Something doesn't feel right here," Decade frowned a bit behind his helmet as he blocked an incoming strike from a Gigazelle, "This seems almost too easy…"
"Too easy?!" Ryuki demanded as he was in a stalemate with one before pointing at the sky, "Ah!" the Gigazelle looked up and Ryuki slashed it down, "Ha! That worked!"
=ATTACKRIDE: BLAST!=
"Eh?" Ryuiki blinked before a shot nearly missed him, the shot ending up killing a Gigazelle that tried to attack him from behind, "..."
"You owe me," Decade stated, his Ridebooker in its Gun mode as he started blasting a few Gigazelle.
As the two Riders continued to fight against the Gigazelle, a lone Rider was watching them. He had a black bodysuit with random bits of brown armor. His shoulders were covered in orange and yellow armor resembling gazelle heads with his helmet shaped like a knight's helmet much like Ryuki and the purple Rider had, but he had gazelle horns on the sides of his helmet. His right knee sported a silver guard shaped like a gazelle's head while his torso and buckle sported a gold emblem resembling a gazelle's head. The figure crouched down to have his armored knee outward, revealing a hidden slot behind it. He slid a card out and moved it to insert into the slot.
=SWORD VENT=
Decade, Ryuki, and the Gigazelle turned to the sound of a figure's scream as the new Rider was sent tumbling into the Mirror Monsters.
"Nani?" Ryuki pondered before turning to where he came from, "Imperer?"
"Eh? A female Rider?" Decade pondered, looking in the same direction Ryuki did.
Approaching from where Imperer had come from was a slender female Kamen Rider. Much like the other Riders so far, her helmet sported a knight's theme to it, the visor shaped to resemble the wings of a swan, the head of it pointing upwards. Her chest was covered in silver armor with the rest of her upper body covered in gold and white armor. Her shoulders were covered in swan head-shaped armor while a white, feathery cape came from her belt, the buckle white with a gold swan emblem. On her left hip was a white rapier with a bulky guard resembling two closed swan wings. In her hands was a pair of gold naginata shaped like the upper halves of a swan's wings.
An approaching Gigazelle tried to attack her from the side, only for its strike to be blocked by the female Rider's blade. She kicked it back with the heel of her heeled-boot before delivering five quick slashes on it.
"You…!" Imperer growled before slotting the card he had pulled out into his leg.
=FINAL VENT=
The herd of Gigazelle tensed and began to glow at the call of the vent. They proceeded to charge at the three other Riders, intent on running them over. Ryuki pushed down on his Drag Visor and quickly slid a card into it.
=STRIKE VENT=
An item shaped like Dragredder's head attached to Ryuki's right hand/lower arm. Dragredder spun around behind him as flames began to form in its jaws. Beside them, Decade pulled out a card and inserted it into his DecaDriver.
=FINAL ATTACKRIDE: D-D-D-DECADE!=
Ten cards formed before him, all sporting his emblem. Magenta energy charged up in the barrel of his gun before he pulled the trigger. The shot went out of the RideBooker and into the first card, making it vanish. The shot, doubled in size, came out of the second card and made it vanish before this repeated with each card, doubling in size until becoming a beam as it came out of the tenth card. Ryuki roared as he punched with his Drag Claw, releasing a blast of flames with Dragredder. The attacks collided, creating a large explosion. As the smoke faded, it revealed none of the Gigazelle. Imperer yelped as the emblem on his buckle faded, the colors of his armor fading to silver and black. The female rider pulled out a card and her rapier. The 'wings' spread out and she slid the card into the slot revealed by that before closing it.
=FINAL VENT=
A metallic white and gold swan flew down, cutting Imperer from escaping. The female Rider gripped her naginata in both hands, crossing them across her chest, as the new Mirror Monster began to rapidly flap its wings. The strong blast of winds the Mirror Monster generate caused Imperer to be sent rocketing towards the female Rider.
"Ha!" the female roared as she slashed, causing an explosion.
"?!" Ryuki tensed as the smoke cleared, revealing just the white Rider, standing before a fading Mobian, the Imperer Deck destroyed between them, "W...Why?!" the white Rider turned and walked away, "Oi! Matte!"
"Ryuki, that's enough," Decade ordered, "Right now...We need to leave."
"Eh?!" Ryuki demanded before he saw his body starting to fade away as well, "Tch."
Meanwhile, back with Gatack and the snake Rider, the two were panting as they stared each other down. Venosnaker hissed, seeing bits of it starting to break apart. It glared at Gatack before slithering into a nearby puddle of wine, Gatack gawking under his mask as he saw it go through the liquid, almost as if it were never there.
"H..how did…?" Nicole began from the hiding spot she, Ellie, Roll, and Tails were at, "Th..that shouldn't be…"
"It vanished into the puddle," Tails awed.
The purple Rider growled before following after the snake.
"Oi! Matte!" Gatack shouted, "Mou...He ran away." he dismissed the GatackZecter and it flew around him for a few moments, "How did you follow me, little guy?" it let out a squeak before flying off, "..." he turned to the girls and Tails, "We should probably get out of here before we're blamed for this."
"R..right…" Ellie nodded before nudging the still gawking nicole, "Nicole-san, we need to go."
"H..th...that...that sh..should've…" Nicole stuttered.
"...Ano..I think she's broke," Ellie sweatdropped.
"I've got her," Roll sighed as she picked up Nicole, the other three blinking as Nicole was stiff as a statue as Roll picked her up, "This isn't the first time she's done this."
"Eh? It isn't?" Ellie blinked.
"Nope. She normally does this one every few months or so," Roll shrugged, "Well, let's get going before the police show up."
"What are police?" Tails asked as they left.
"People who protect and uphold the law," Kagami informed.
"You mean like the Freedom Fighters?"
"Well...I have to admit that wasn't my idea of a first date," Mina noted as she walked along with Shinji.
"Yeah... Sorry it didn't go so well..."
"Well, it was still nice while it lasted and I'm really glad you're walking me home," Mina noted with a giggle, "Worried about little ol' me?"
"...Ano...well…" Shinji paused as a small blush formed on his face.
"Oh. Here's my home," Mina noted as the two stopped before a small home, "Despite the place getting ruined like it did, I still thought it was a good night." she pecked his cheek before walking into her home, "Hope we can do it again, Shin-ji-kun."
Shinji chuckled sheepishly, a heavy blush on his face, as Mina went into her house. Nearby, Tsukasa took a picture from his hiding spot.
A loud beeping noise snapped Shinji out of it, the hedgehog shaking his head as he pulled out a small, flashing device.
"..Mou. Why's he attacking now of all nights?"
"Who?" Shinji jumped and turned to see Tsukasa walking up.
"...H...how long were you…" Shinji began before shaking it off, "N-nevermind. You know about Robotnik, right?"
"Only that Robo-Robotnik," Tsukasa replied, "Why?"
"Well..seems he was spotted somewhere near the village."
"And?" Tsukasa raised a brow.
"Amongst his troops, there's a 'secret weapon.' We're...not sure what it is, but it can't be good."
Tsukasa nodded.
"Which is why I need to head out and stop him from unleashing this weapon before something bad happens."
"So how are you going to do that?" Tsukasa asked.
"Well...I...uh," Shinji sighed, "This was so much easier when Sally was around."
"Sally?" Tsukasa raised a brow.
"She...She was a friend I grew up with here," Shinji informed, "I…" he sighed, looking down at his feet, "She was one of the first who went missing. Wasn't until I first became Ryuki that I figured out what happened to her. I haven't told my little brother Tails about it, though. It...It'd break his heart."
"...I see..." Tsukasa noted before sighing, "Alright. How far away is Robotnik?"
"Eh?" Shinji blinked a few times.
"Beating this Robotnik might be why I'm here," Tsukasa noted, taking a picture of Shinji's expression, "Plus, you might need all the help you can get."
"E...eh?!"
"Grr…! How hard can it be to find one blasted village?!" a rather...ahem, fat, egg-shaped man wearing a red and black body suit, a yellow cape, and a metal right arm growled as he and a small group of human-like robots searched around the forest, a cloaked object being carried by a few of the robots, "Snively!"
"Y-Yes, uncle?" a short, skinny human in a green turtleneck sweater with a hood, covering almost all of his body, stammered.
"Isn't this the exact coordinates you gave me?"
"..y...yes?" Snively gulped before he was grabbed by the fatman.
"THEN WHY HAVEN'T WE FOUND KNOTHOLE YET?!" Robotnik roared.
"ACK! I-I don't know sir! I-ACK!" Snively gagged from the tight grip Robotnik had on him.
"..Bah. It wouldn't matter anyways," Robotnik scoffed as he dropped Snively, "Knowing the hedgehog, he and his pesky Freedom Fighters will find out about our location...and will fall for our trap."
"A...And what of the Dragon Knight, sir?" Snively coughed.
"Bah. He's insignificant compared to the blasted hedgehog," Robotnik scowled, "Especially now that we know how he's been able to move about so quickly in and out of our bases."
"R...right…" Snively nodded before muttering quietly to himself, "You fat oaf."
"What was that?" Robotnik growled dangerously.
"N..nothing!" Snively yelped before a blur shot by him, "GAh!"
"..The hedgehog.." Robotnik scowled as his Swatbots looked around for their target before a few were instantly destroyed, "Get him, you fools, get him!"
=ATTACKRIDE: BLAST!=
"Wh-?" Robotnik began before something blasted his SWATBots, destroying more of them, "Gh! Who dares?!"
An engine revving was his reply before the Machine Deccadier drove off a fallen tree and landed on a SWATBot, crushing it. Decade jumped off it while switching his weapon from its gun mode to its sword mode, delivering a few slashes at some of the SWATBots.
"..Snively...who is that?" Robotnik demanded with a scowl.
"i..it appears to be a p..pink knight, sir."
"Pinkku janai, Magenta da!" Decade shook a fist at Snively while stabbing a SWATBot that tried to get him from behind.
"Gah!" Snively yelped as he ran behind Robotnik.
"...Well, whoever you are, you'll soon regret angerning me! SWATBots, destr-"Robotnik paused when he noticed none of his robots were left, leaving him, snively, the cloaked object, and Decade, "...Grr…" he turned to Snively, "Do it."
"B-But sire, I…"
"I don't care. He will make the perfect test subject," Robotnik informed.
"..O..of course," Snively gulped as he ran for the cloaked object and tore the cover off, revealing a large, robotic gorilla like machine.
"Prepare yourself, Pink Knight, for you'll be the first to die by hands of Juggernaut!"
"Pinkku janai! Magenta da!" Decade shook his fist at Robotnik.
"Juggernaut...destroy him!"
The machine began to beat its chest as it charged at Decade, throwing a punch at the multi dimensional Rider. Decade rolled out of the way of the punch while inserting a card into his DecaDriver.
=ATTACKRIDE: ILLUSION=
Juggernaut turned to Decade, only to see four of them together, all with guns aimed at it.
"Bang," the original Decade said as they opened fire on Juggernaut, who raised its arms to block the attack. Once the gun fire died down, teh gorilla-like machine turned itself around before..it's butt opened to reveal a set of cannons, "...Butt Cannons? It has Butt Cannons?"
"That's right! It's perfect against those who would try and attack Juggernaut from behind!" Robotnik grinned as Juggernaut's cannons released a pair of missles at the Decades.
=ATTACKRIDE: SLASH=
The blades of all four Decade glowed before they proceeded to slice through the missiles while charging at the Juggernaut. Two of them jumped into the air as the other two charged on the ground. Juggernaut tried to hit the two on the ground before it was sent staggering back from a strike to back by the other two Decades. Ittried to fire at the two behind it with its butt cannons before they were sliced off.
"...Don't even think about saying it or I will Roboticize you," Robotnik growled at Snively.
"Y..yes sire."
Juggernaut let out an angry 'roar' as it beat it's chest like mad before it slammed its arms on the ground, causing the four Decades to stumble before two were sent flying via a punch from teh gorilla machine, shattering into pixels on colliding with the ground.
"Tch," Decade snorted before taking out a gold-bordered card and slid it into his DecaDriver.
=FINAL ATTACKRIDE: D-D-D-DECADE!=
Ten human-sized images of the card appeared in a line between the original Decade and Juggernaut. He jumped into the air, the cards rising up with him, before he began to fall through the cards, seemingly appearing in and out of the cards. As he went through each one, the card seemed to pixelize and begin to swirl around his foot. He let out a cry as he went through the final card, his foot colliding with the Juggernaut and creating an explosion. Snively began to run away only to get stuck under the ruined Juggernaut's head.
"M..my machine!" Robotnik exclaimed before he gave Decade a death glare, not noticing the reflection in one of Juggernaut's remains, "You...how dare you!"
"Simple; you dare, I do it," Decade replied ,"Oh, and a bit of advice, lay off the late night snacking. You're fat enough to put Jabba the Hut to shame...whoever that is."
"Gh! Grrr….." Robotnik snarled, his face contorting into a look of anger, "WHY YOU!"
"Yes. Me, me, me," Decade rolled his eyes under his mask, "Can we get on with this?"
"GRRR! I WIL E-" Robotnik began before he heard a slight ringing noise, "..Snively, stop ringing that bell!"
"B..bell? W..what bell, sire?"
"That bell!" Robotnik growled.
"I..I'm afraid I don't…"
"Shut up and stop ringing that infernal bell!" Robotnik snapped.
'Bell? ..Wh...' Decade began with a thought before something erupted from the reflective surface.
"Huh? Wh-" Robotnik began before whatever bursted from the reflective surface blindsided him, sending him falling back, "D'oh...now what?!"
"S...s….sire…" Snively began with a fear filled whimper.
"What?!" Robotnik demanded as Snively pointed a shaky finger at...Ryuki? ,"The Dragon Knight?!"
'...No..that's not Shinji,' Decade thought as he looked at the all black 'Ryuki'.
"..." the black Ryuki pushed down on his 'dragon head' on his arm before taking a card out and slotting it into the back before resetting it.
=ADVENT=
A metallic roar filled the air before a black version of DragRedder bursted from the reflective surface before it flew above the black Ryuki. It let out a deep growl towards Robotnik and Snively, the latter letting out a terrified shriek as he bolted behind Robotnik, shaking like a leaf. The black Ryuki snapped his fingers and the black Dragredder roared before charging.
"GAh!" Robotnik screamed as he immediately pulled Snively to the front, "Snively, protect me!"
"WHAT?! Snively exclaimed before the black dragon opened its mouth, black flames starting to form in it, "OH NO! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
=KAMENRIDE: KABUTO=
D-Kabuto roared as he slammed a fist into the dragon's face, causing its fireball to miss and hit beside the two, making a small explosion that sent Robotnik flat on his back on Snively.
"...You haven't seen the last of me!" Robotnik roared as he got up and ran, dragging Snively along the way.
=STRIKE VENT=
Armor covered the black Ryuki's right fist, shaped to resemble the black Dragredder's head. He made a punching motion and a blast of black flames shot out, striking Snively's sleeve.
"GAH! IT BUUUUURRRN!" Snively freaked as he tried to put the fire out, "It...It's not getting put out!" Robotnik let go of Snively as he saw Snively's hand catch fire, "GAAAAHHH!-!-! M-MY HAND! SOMEONE, HEEEEEEEELP!" he screamed as he ran, trying to put out the flames still.
"...Wimps," the black Ryuki frowned as the black Dragredder gave a low growl as it batted D-Kabuto away to send a fireball at them.
=ADVENT=
Another fireball soon got in the way of the attack, destroying it as the real Dragredder flew into the area. D-Kabuto turned to the reflective surface of what had been the head of Juggernaut to see Ryuki emerging from it.
"Ugh...Sorry, he tied me up literally," Ryuki apologized, looking at the black Ryuki.
"..It's fine but…" D-Kabuto paused as he glared at teh Black Ryuki, "Who is he exactly? Your evil twin from another diminsion?"
"I have no idea," Ryuki replied, "Won't even give me a dang name."
"AHHHHHHH!" the two turned to see that Snively had attempted to roll the flames out, only for all his clothes to ignite.
"What's with those flames?" Ryuki asked.
"Don't know, but it seems the short bald guy can't get them out." D-Kabuto replied before wincing, "Correction; he couldn't get them out."
The black Ryuki looked at the ball of black flames that had been Snively before turning towards Robotnik. He took out a card and slid it into his Visor.
=ADVENT=
"He's got another dragon?" D-Kabuto asked before twenty Gigazelle erupted from the closest reflective surfaces and surrounded the area, "...Gigazelle? Seriously?"
"...Anger...getting...stronger…!" Ryuki began to growl as Dragredder's eye twitched.
"..Uh...N-now now. M..maybe we can make a compromise," Robotnik gulped a bit as the Black Ryuki got ready to command his 'army, "I..In exchange for a quarter of my kingdom..y...you destroy the hedgehog and his group for me?"
"..."
"..Half my kingdom and control of half my SWATBots?"
"..."
"...Three-quarters of both?"
=FINAL VENT=
The black Dragredder roared as he spun around the black Ryuki. He spread his arms out downwards while tilting his head up before he started floating in the air, going higher with each rounding of the black Dragredder.
"No!" Ryuki called out as he struggled with two Gigazelle.
"F...Fine! 90%! But that's all I can offer!" Robotnik screamed.
The black Dragredder blasted its flames at its owner, sending the black Ryuki rocketing at Robotnik, both feet aimed at him. D-Kabuto managed to slide a card into his DecaDriver and closed it just as two Gigazelle were about to slash at him..
=ATTACKRIDE: CLOCK UP=
Time slowed to a halt as D-Kabuto ran towards Robotnik and moved him out of the way of the attack. However, before time could resume, D-Kabuto put Robotnik down further away before sticking one of Robotnik's thumbs into his ear and his metal one in his nose before giving him an atomic wedgie and drew a pair of bushy eyebrows and a monocle. D-Kabuto chuckled before taking out his sword and the kunaigun and began to strike at the Gigazelle, slashing and shooting at them before going back to his original spot.
=CLOCK OVER=
The black Ryuki slammed into the ground, releasing a large explosion that knocked Robotnik over and down a hill, yelping and shouting until he was out of sight. The black Ryuki stood up, unharmed amongst the black flames that remained. He let out a sharp whistle and the black Dragredder swooped down, letting the black Ryuki get on his head while also devouring the charred husk that had been Snively before zipping back into the mirror. Ryuki sighed as the Gigazelle exploded around him and Decade.
"You don't sound relieved," Decade noted.
"While Robotnik didn't get murdered in cold blood…" Ryuki looked at where Snively had been, "...I really really hate this Rider War."
Robotnik growled as he entered his main chamber, all reflective surfaces covered up or dirtied to the point there wasn't a reflection. He hissed a bit when he had inhaled through his nose, still not understanding just why he had his finger jammed up there, but that didn't matter. No. His plans were all ruined by that Dragon Knight and his black-colored copy along with that pink knight!
"It seems I'll need to accelerate my plan," Robotnik noted, turning to a wall where two cylinders with two shadowed figures floating in them were, a strange belt on them both.
GT: *looks around* Phew. No 4th wall breakers here.
SZ: Thank...kami. No sign of Deadpool, P0inkie, or anyoen with 4th wall breaking abilities.*knocks on metal floor*and no interuptions or thefts by that damn Treasure Knight..though..*looks at the mounted anchor cannon on the wall* that might be impossible for him since I took his cannon, along with us taking all of his treasure.
