5AmyNChan: lolol, I couldn't help but revive my old Soul Eater oneshot collection. XDD FYI, the oneshots before this I hadn't read the manga. XD I now have.
Maka: Does it really make a difference?
AmyNChan: Not really. XDD Just that time has changed my writing style a little bit. XD I don't own Soul Eater!
"I hate you, Soul."
"You don't mean that."
"Yes, I do."
"Shut up and stop acting like a baby, Maka," the aforementioned boy frowned as he placed more aloe on his miester's shoulders. "It's not my fault you forgot the sunscreen."
"Yes, it is," she groaned, hissing when his fingers jabbed into her sensitive red skin. Give her a pre-kishin any day. Heck, she would rather go back to the moon and face down Ashura in all his madness again. Anything but— "Soul! That stings!"
"Seriously? I barely touched you," the white haired boy complained. However, much to her delight, his fingers were gentler when he continued to apply the aloe vera on her skin. The substance quickly became uncomfortable, but Maka knew better than to wipe the somewhat hardened mixture away.
After all, they had both been through this particular song and dance before, so to speak.
"You're so unfair," the girl muttered darkly, torn between her current discomfort and the spreading cool relief rescuing her normally white skin. "Why can't I have your skin?"
"Because your dad's Irish."
Just for the record, she did not laugh horridly accurate statement. She chuckled. And it hurt her shoulders to move them with the action. Her not-laugh turned into a much more appropriate hiss.
"You suck," she said, absolutely no fire behind her words. Soul hummed with no commitment, but could not resist one more jab.
"No, I tan. There's a difference."
"I hate you."
"No, you don't."
AmyNChan: The woes of a sunburn. Just wait until she starts peeling…
Soul and Maka: *groaning*
AmyNChan: lolol. Hope ya'll enjoyed~! *^_^* Also, please don't take offense to the Irish comment. The stereotype is that they are very pale with red hair. Maka is pale with blonde hair (so I think Kami's a blonde), so I thought she might have his sensitive skin. ^^;
Maka: I think it's fine. I can still kick royal rear any day of the week.
AmyNChan: Yup! *^_^*
Soul: Except for when you're sunburnt.
Maka: SOUL!
