Author Note: I know, I know, so many of my loyal readers never thought I'd be writing or posting Charmed after a long hiatus. I want to get back into writing it, but I just have so many other stories. Chapters I haven't posted and new ones that aren't up yet. I can't say when my next update for this will be.

Brothers for Better or Worse

Chapter 3: Dating and Demons

Chris stood outside Wyatt's room. He was only 13, but he understood how dangerous this was.

"Wyatt, you really shouldn't be doing this," Chris called through the door. "Megan's a mortal. What are we gonna do if demons show up?"

Wyatt opened the door. He was dressed in a black Nickelback t-shirt and black jeans with dress shoes.

"That's why we're not going to let out guards down," Wyatt ran a hand through his thick blond curly locks. "You should dress nicer, Chris. I doubt the Phoenix will appreciate your…run-down attire."

"Her name is Bianca!" he growled. "Oh, and that Nickelback t-shirt is appropriate?"

"Listen! Mom and Dad left me in charge and I say go change!" he threatened, but Chris just crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. Wyatt sighed. "Okay, but if people make fun of you, don't expect me to bail you out."

Chris smirked. "Yeah. Right. I'll wait downstairs," he orbed away.

Wyatt walked back into his room, going over to his closet and pulled out a t-shirt almost identical to his, except it was white with three-quarter sleeves. Wyatt threw on a black jacket, grabbing a white one from his closet. "Chris!"

He reformed in his room. "Yeah?"

Wyatt threw the shirt and jacket at him. "Here."

Chris was stunned as the shirt landed at his feet, the jacket covering his face. Chris grabbed it, draping it over his arm. "Thought you didn't care how I looked, whether or not it made you look bad?" he muttered under his breath, throwing his shirt to the ground and donning his brother's.

Blue eyes met green. "Yeah, well, normally I wouldn't care, but as this is your first date ever, I figured you'd want to make a good impression," he said, spaying a little cologne.

Chris smiled, clapping him on the shoulder. "Thanks, Wy."

Wyatt turned around, spraying a bit of cologne. "Anytime." The doorbell rang.

"I'll get that," Chris said walking downstairs.

Wyatt walked beside him. "Yeah, I'll let you. You're the one who needs to make an impression," he said, draping himself over the couch as Chris went over to answer the door.

He looked at Wyatt and wiped his sweaty palms on his jeans. "Uh, Wy, any advice?"

He smirked. "Nervous huh?" Chris nodded. "Just be yourself. If it's not meant to be, it's not meant to be."

Chris nodded, turning the handle and opening the door.

Megan stood outside the door, looking slightly crestfallen.

She smiled at Chris. "Hi."

"Hey. Wyatt's in the living room," Chris explained.

She nodded and Chris motioned for her to come in. He closed the door. "Wy! Megan's here!"

Wyatt walked into the hallway. He wrapped an arm around Megan. "Hey, babe."

Suddenly, a knock sounded at the door and Chris opened it. Bianca stood looking slightly suspicious, it was in her nature. When she saw Chris she smiled widely. She was a year older than him.

He grinned. "Hey, Bianca. Ready to go?"

She nodded and took his hand in hers. "Yeah."

Wyatt rolled his eyes at them.

Megan giggled.

"They're so cute!"

He shrugged. "I guess." He swung his keys on his finger.

They walked outside to see Chris and Bianca walking down the street. "Where are they going?"

He coughed awkwardly. "T-they prefer a different form of transportation."

The young couple walked out of sight.

"I say we should orb," Chris stated.

Bianca grimaced. "No thank you. I am very much okay with shimmering."

He smirked, looking at their entwined hands and orbed to the alleyway of P3, their hands touching caused Bianca to be pulled along.

Bianca gasped when they landed. She glared. "I am so going to get you back for that."

He laughed. "How so?"

She grabbed his hand and shimmered him into the back room of P3. She grinned when he swayed back and forth.

Wyatt looked away from Megan's gaze.

"It is a nice night..." He led her to the car. "And it's so sweet!"

He nodded. "Yep." He opened the car door for her and shut it, walking over to the driver's side and hopped in. "Just adorable."

The night was productive. Chris kissed her on the cheek, and Bianca said they should do it again sometime.

Wyatt scored a second date and Megan gave him her cell phone number.

Paige orbed into the manor living room looking at her nephews. "So...How'd the dates go?"

Chris smiled. "She wants to go out again!"

Wyatt smirked. "Got a second date." He pulled out a slip of white paper. "Cell number."

"That's great!"

Wyatt grinned and Chris, knowing the cause, made to run upstairs, but Wyatt grabbed his arm. "And Chrissy kissed a girl!"

"Wyatt!" Chris pulled away. "It was no big deal. Just on the cheek."

"Buzz kill. At least you could've gotten to first base."

"Shut up!"

Paige stood up from the couch and walked over. "Wyatt, be nice. You had your first date years ago. Do you even remember how good you felt just because she wanted you to go out with you?" she defended.

Wyatt looked up, lost in thought. "Well, uh…"

"See? So you have nothing to nag Chris about!"

He rolled his eyes, sighing. "Yeah, I guess. Chris, despite how much I'm going to love teasing you about this, I am glad you had a great time. Really."

Chris scoffed, but then smiled. "Thanks, Wy."

Paige smiled. It was nice to see the two brothers have a 'seemingly normal' social life…
