The Dream
I'm on a football field, green and warm. The sun is shining, and at the opposite end is Benjamin Cato, my soulmate!
He playfully grins at me, dark eyes sparkling. "I'll catch you," he says, and opens his arms wide.
I can just hear the music swelling as I race towards him, happy, glowing, and jump…
…and promptly fall off the bed.
"Ow!"
My only consolation as I pull myself from the floor is that at least the real Ben wasn't a witness.
If only I knew…
