Remus Lupin and James Potter are maddly in love with each other. But what happens after James gets drunk one night? The story of how James ended up with Lily. The poem is Déjeuner du matin by Jacques Prévert. I wrote this one day in school because I was bored and we had to learn this poem for French. After my teacher tried to make this poem none gay (It was written by a guy) I had to write a story to go along with it. Italics is the translation. Characters belong to JK Rowling. Warning : yaoi (boy's love) and suggested mpreg

Il a mis le café He put the coffee

Dans la tasse In the cup

Il a mis le lait He put the milk

Dans la tasse de café In the cup of coffee

Il a mis le sucre He put the sugar

Dans la café au lait In the coffee with milk

Avec le petite cuiller With a little spoon

Il a tourné He stirred

Il a bu la café au lait He drank the coffee with milk

Et il a reposé la tasse And he put the cup down

Sans me parler Without talking to me

Remus never said anything when he first got up. I knew he wasn't ever awake until he had his coffee, that's the way it always was. It didn't matter that we fought last night. I hoped that he had forgiven me but, I wouldn't blame him if he didn't. Last night I had told him that I had cheated on him, once, but, that was enough. The girl had gotten pregnant. I think that's what hurt Remus the most. He had wanted a child for sometime now but, I kept telling him that we were to young, we couldn't raise a baby yet. Yet, here I was sleeping with Lily Evans and getting her pregnant.

Il a allumé He lit

Une cigarette A cigarette

Il a fait des rounds He made rings

Avec la fumée With the smoke

Il a mis les cendres He put the ashes

Dans le cendrier In the ash tray

Sans me parler Without talking to me

I love watching him smoke. I never could figure out how he made those rings but, it was interesting to watch. I knew he wasn't happy with me now. I could see the pain written all over the beautiful face of his. I couldn't stand it. I always hated seeing him in pain through it wasn't unusual, his eyes were always filled with the pain he endued, I knew that I was part of that pain now. I got up and kissed his cheek. "Good morning my fluffy little wolf. What do you want for breakfast? I'll make whatever you want. How about some oatmeal with bacon and sausage? I still can't figure out were all that food you eat goes." I chuckled a bit. Maybe if I make enough jokes he won't leave me. I kiss his neck softly. "I love you. You know that right?" He still didn't say a word. "I'm sorry. I won't drink anymore. I'll be your slave. Whatever you want. Just please don't leave me."

Sans me regarder Without looking at me

Il s'est levé He stood up

Il a mis He put on

Son chapeau sur sa tête His hat on his head

Il a mis He put on

Son manteau de pluie His rain coat

Parce qu'il pleuvait Because it was raining

Et il est parti And he left

Sous la pluie Into the rain

Sans une parole Without a word

Et moi j'ai pris And me, I put

Ma tête dans me main My head in my hand

Et j'ai pleuré And I cried

He left into the rain not having said a word to me since last night. I sat down at the table laying my head down as tears slowly rolled down my cheeks. I hoped he would be back. In a few days he would calm down, I would wait on him hand and foot, and everything would be alright again but, deep down I knew it wouldn't. I knew that I would never talk to him again. I guess I'm asking Lily to marry me now.

Author note: Comments are mucho appreciated. There is an epilogue that I wrote but, I don't know if I'm going to put it up or not.
