Colonel Herbian of the 175th Oz Aries Brigade was walking down the halls of a top secret Oz military installation, thinking about the orders he had just received.

*Flashback*

General Tillany's overly wide face took up most of the view screen, with his squarely trimmed beard and piercing blue eyes.

"I have just received instructions from my superiors to send the 175th Oz Aries Brigade on a deep-strike mission far behind enemy lines. We have to strike fast, hard, and without mercy. The target is a White Fang installation 500 kilometers northeast of your position. You will leave at 0200 hours tomorrow morning. You will move to the north, and circle around, striking at them from the west during the night. You are to destroy all buildings, and kill anyone and everyone. No prisoners. Am I understood?"

"Yes sir," said Herbian, "clear as crystal."

"Good, don't let anyone survive, we can't have any leaks to the other White Fang installations. Now go, Tillany out."

With that, Tillany cut the transmission and the screen went blank.

*End flashback*

It was rather unusual, thought Herbian, that the General would order all the people in the installation be killed. Usually Oz would accept the traitor back and rehabilitate them. Then they would return to active duty in the Oz military. It just made no sense. What were they trying to stop? To cover up?

Oh well, thought Herbian, nothing to do about it but carry out the orders. It would be good to be in the field again, leading the troops…

Three Days Later…

Major Kyle Dell of the White Fang Ops Team Cobra stood on his balcony overlooking the ocean. A warm breeze stirred the leaves of the palm trees, and the sun beat down with amazing heat. It would be another scorcher. God but Kyle loved Mexico. Movement in the corner of his eye drew his attention. He turned to see Jillian Herth step out onto the balcony wearing one of his dress shirts. Kyle smiled and wrapped his arms around her slight form, a drastic contrast to his 6 foot three muscular build. She smiled up at him, and lightly kissed him, then rested her head against his chest. Yep. Kyle definitely loved Mexico. He looked down at Jillian, a beautiful 5 foot 5 woman with dirty blonde hair and entrancing Green eyes. Damn but she was beautiful! He tried to remember when their anniversary was. Damnit, why could he never remember?! He lowered his head and kissed her on the forehead, about the same time his cell phone started to ring. Kyle sighed and pulled away from Jillian, walking inside and picking up his cell.

"Dell."

"Major Dell? This is Commander Hawkins. We have need of you and your team. Two days ago Oz launched an attack on one of our military research installations. They stole formula for at least seven different chemical fuels, and the plans for the new mobile suits we're developing. They botched up though, and we got several transmissions. We only lost about 30 mobile suits in defense of the installation. They gave us time to evacuate the scientists and most of the soldiers, but Oz still got most of our research."

"And you want us to get it back?" asked Kyle.

"Precisely," replied Hawkins, "a chopper will be there to pick you up tomorrow. You have until then on your own. See you in three days, Dell."

"Yes sir." said Kyle before hanging up. He tossed the phone onto the nightstand. "God damn,"

"What's wrong?" asked Jill.

"I have to leave tomorrow," said Kyle, "I may be gone for a while."

"Where?"

"I can't say, and you know that."

"I know," sighed Jill, "well, if you have to leave, we have to make tonight special," said Jill with a sly smile.

Kyle smiled. Yep. He definitely loved Mexico, especially with Jill there.
