149Action filled chapter time! I hope it is exciting and fairly easy to follow. I tried to keep the flow at a good pace but describe enough in case you don't remember what some of their attacks and limit breaks look like. As for the knights of the round, this version is a little bit different from original in the game with a homage to FFXV as well so the summon is not exactly as it was in FFVII. I once again changed my mind and decided to break up the battle, so I hope none are disappointed. As always feedback is appreciated and I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Each of the Knights drew their swords together in perfect unison. Then, just for a moment which seemed like an eternity, there was silence. The tension was palpable; Tifa forced herself to look away when she heard a very faint growl. Nanaki looked ready to pounce and his eyes appeared to have as much fire in them as his glowing tail.
A crackle of electricity flowing from Reno's weapon seemed to break the momentary inaction of all parties because suddenly three knights broke from the original formation and zoomed towards the group. They are more solidified and detailed now, though that blue glow was still around them. Their armor glistened and their weapons gleamedas they moved . The sight was actually breathtaking...terrifying...but also breathtaking.
Then came the mixture of protection spells and dodging the attacks of each knight. The knights were floating and zooming between all of them at first and it was hard to even know what types of moves to use. Then each of the first three knights seemed to pick a group.
Cid gave Nanaki a boost and once in the air he caught one of the first Knight's arm in his mouth and held on impressively while being shook like a rag doll. Cid followed up with an attack by jumping high and slamming down his lance into the back of the knight. Yuffie tossed her weapon and it glistened as it moved through the air, cutting the cheek of the second Knight. The knight went for her and that is when Barret began plugging him with bullets. Reeve continued to go between healing and protection spells for everyone while Reno and Tifa stood together, Reno blocking the knight's sword with his weapon while Tifa pummeled him with jabs, right and left hooks, kicks..everything she had to break down the knight.
As for Cloud, he would put in support to which ever group was struggling. He used cross slash to stop Knight two while Barret and Yuffie healed. Then he joined Cid and Nanaki and hit that knight with an onslaught of sword attacks. Vincent stood with Reeve, keeping any knights who tried to attack Reeve away by peppering bullets at them. Of course this was also just helping to give Vincent enough time to be able to hit his level four limit break, Chaos, which would be immensely helpful with so many powerful enemies.
Then just a quick as they had come, those first three knights faded away. But there was no time for victory cheering or posing because next barrage of knights came at them. The 4th knight came flying in, his weapon of choice is a mace, he pulls it back and with a large side swipe motion goes for Nanaki, Cid, Yuffie, and Barret. Cid and Yuffie jump and Nanaki and Barret duck down, but Barret ends up yelling out; the edge of the mace has nicked his calf. But before the knight can attack a now less mobile Barret, Cid begins to see that familiar yellow glow surround him and he then begins to use his limit break, Dragon; hyper jumping consistently which helped him heal and drain the knight's HP.
Reeve immediately began healing Barret which caught the attention of the 5th and 6th knights. Vincent had begun to transform into Chaos and therefore unable to protect Reeve, Reno sees this and leaps in front of Reeve and engages the knights. Reno uses pyramid to freeze one of the knights while Cloud, seeing that Reno had two enemies on him rushes in with Climhazzard, using his beam of light to take out the other knight who bringing up his sword for the killing blow.
The 7th knight had chosen Tifa and she had to somersault to avoid his forceful jabbing motion, which she succeeds in doing but he also has ice 3 as part of his attack. She saw the sharp icicles as they began to form; her whole body feeling the intense chill as the spell begins. Fortunately her limit break begins and she deals crushing damage to the knight who flies off and destroys the ice with her Meteorstrike, shattering the ice into nothing but little shards, save for one which does end up cutting her on the side of her stomach.
It was during this fight that Reno had been checking on Reeve, making sure he had enough MP by handing him an turbo ether since he and Cloud had taken down the two knights that had attacked them. He had found Tifa's location and was observing her fight when he saw the piece of ice cut her and her collapse.
"TIFA!"
