Village: Village Hidden in the Springs
Genin: Saotome Ranma Hibiki, Ryoga and Tendo Akane
Country; A small country that there isn't much to say about other than the legend of Happosai a very old and very perverted old man that is said to create chaos thanks to his perverted antics as well an accident legends that are said to be true such as Oni, other strange things and something said to reside very close to their village
Village: A village the specializes most in Taijutsu, it's known for their cursed springs that often used for training. Those that fall into the springs are cursed to turn into something when splashed with cold water and hot water reverses only until next time.
Genin:
Saotome Ranma: A very skilled Marital Artist and said to be one of the best. Much like Tenchi girls seem to flock to him and is engaged to three women including his team mate Akane… though currently have no intention marrying them due to reasons. Is also cursed to turn into a girl thanks to the cursed springs
Tendo Akane: A skill Taijutsu user (though the weakest of her team), she's a hot head with plenty of strength. She's also unengaged to Ranma however it's an arranged marriage and claims she doesn't want to marry him. She also the only one on her team not cursed.
Hibiki Ryoga: Another skilled Taijutsu user, his specialties is more of a brute strength however. He can lift a lot, though… however his weakness is cold water thanks to his curse… he turns into a piglet. He also has no sense of direction.
Sensei:
Saotome Genma: Much like all ninjas in his village he is a skilled Taijutsu user. However he is very greedy and selfish often selling out his son (and student) in various ways and it's the reason for two of his son's finances. He is also cursed to turn in a panda.
Chapter 8: The Preliminaries
All of the teams that made it to the next stage were gathered in a room, near y on a stage stood all of the team's Jonin Sensei.
"Why is there a can on juice on stage?" asked Naruto.
"Oh come on Naruto… there's no…" said Sakura.
Sasuke pointed to the can of juice on stage.
"Why is there a can of juice?" asked Sakura.
"That's what I was saying!" said Naruto.
"We really should be paying attention to what their saying." Said Sakura realizing they shouldn't be paying attention to said can of juice.
That was when the protector for the next exam stepped up and he looked pretty sick.
"I wonder what's wrong with him?" asked Usagi.
"Usagi." Said Ami trying to get her not to interrupt.
"Now all of you have passed the forest of Death." Said the proctor, "However there is something we have to do."
Everyone in the room.
"You see due to circumstances we need to have a premilitary for the final round." Said the proctor.
"WHAT!" yelled almost everyone in the room.
"Are you kidding me!" yelled Ryoko.
"This isn't fair!" yelled Naruto.
"Random yell of anger!" yelled Don Patch.
"Look there's a very good reason for this." Said protector.
All the Genin looked at him.
"A lot of people come to watch the exams." Said the proctor.
"Wait.,.. is this a betting thing?" asked Nami.
A red haired Jonin instructor started laughing.
Most of the other Jonin instructors began to glare at him, while two of them one from Leaf just face palming while the one who was a woman just sighed at him.
"Well I wouldn't go that far." Said the Proctor, "But a lot of people do watch. We thought there would be only a few teams. However we got four times as many teams as we thought."
"So we're going to eliminate most of us?" asked Zoro.
"Not necessarily." Said the protector, "As there is a wide variety of villages as long as long as five of the 9 villages here are resented then we won't go for a second round of preprimaries."
"Great…" muttered Ryoko.
"There's still a good chance that there can be five villages that represented and not have it all be Leaf." Said Kiyo.
"What are the chances of that though?" muttered Ryoko.
"Ryoko!" said one of the Jonin firmly.
She preictally growled but didn't say much after that.
"If any of you feel like you're unable to continue please say so now." Said the proctor.
"I would like to withdraw." Said Kabuto.
"What! Seriously!" yelled Naruto.
"Yeah sorry, after everything that happened, I don't think I can counite." Said Kabuto, "I really got messed up out there."
Naruto was about to argue.
"Please respect their choices." Said the proctor.
Naruto grumbled as Kabuto walked away.
However both Bobo-bo and Ryoko both looked at him suspiciously.
As he left they knew that what hopefully wouldn't be the first set preliminaries would begin.
They all turned to a computer screen that showed off names.
And the first two names were Sasuke and someone by the name of Yoroi.
"Everyone who is not Uchiha Sasuke and Akado Yoroi please go to the observation platform."
The Jonin instructors all headed to the observation platform.
That was when the one for Grand Line grabbed a leaf and the one from Moonlight.
"Hey! Luffy!" he yelled loudly, "I want you to meet my friends!"
Practically everyone stared at him.
"Please Shanks… let us go." Sighed the one from Leaf who had silver hair.
"Come we haven't seen each other in a while." Said Shanks.
"Just go with it." Sighed the moonlight sensei, "You know how he is."
"I know…" sighed the leaf village sensei.
"Wait Kakashi…" aid Sakura.
"Hey…" said the leaf village sensei somewhat weakly.
"Setsuna?" asked Ami.
The moonlight sensei (As she was the only one) sighed.
"Wait… you're good friends?" asked Naruto.
"Something like that…" said Kakashi.
"And you're from… Line and Moonlight." Said Naruto.
"So it's fine to have friends from the other villages?" asked Usagi.
"Why are you asking?" asked Shanks.
"You don't mind if I made some actual friends." Said Luffy.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Shanks.
"Well we became friends during the first exam." Said Usagi as she, Naruto and Luffy had identical looks of somewhat embarrassment,.
"Spooky…" said Shanks.
"Yeah…" said Kakashi.
"Um…" said the proctor.
"Oh right…" said Shanks.
They all went to the same area.
Zatch looked at them, but knew he had to be near Kiyo during this time.
And so in the same area they explained and how they befriend each other.
"So you three briefed each other because you're bad at taking tests and just clicked." Said Kakashi.
"Yeah…" said Naruto.
"They were against us befriending you." Said Usagi pointing to Makoto, Nami and Sakura.
"To be fair we didn't know you were good friends with ninjas from other villages." Said Sakura.
"I didn't know that Shanks was coming." Said Kakashi.
"I was planning to bring it up after round 2." Said Setsuna.
"I wanted it to be a surprise." Laughed Shanks.
"Of course you did." Said Nami with a sweat drop.
"But seriously… it's true." Said Shanks, "In fact these two have been an item for a while." Said Shanks.
"Shanks…" said Kakashi dangerously.
"You're the reason why that rumor was spread around." Muttered Setsuna.
"Stop denying." Said Shanks.
"We're not dating." Denied the two.
"So make any other friends." Said Shanks.
"Well we befriend the Zatch…" said Luffy pointing at Zatch.
"Oh you befriend a Mamodo." Said Shanks, "Interesting."
"The alliance between the villages aren't that strong." Said Setsuna, "But considering certain things."
"I thought she looked familiar." Said Shanks with a smirk.
"Are you sure it's a good idea." Said Kakashi looking at Usagi.
"I might end up giving her permission depending on how her match goes." said Setsuna.
"What!" cried Usagi.
"Usagi you can't hide it forever." Said Setsuna.
"I know…" said Usagi.
"What happened?" asked Setsuna.
"Some teams found out in the forest of death." Said Makoto.
"Who?" asked Setsuna.
"Well us." Said Sakura.
"Two other teams from Leaf." Said Ami, "And the team from Hair."
"What…" said Setsuna.
Shanks started laughing.
"And the team from Sound…" said Usagi, "But…"
"I see…" said Setsuna getting a bad feeling from that.
"We'll talk about it after the match." Said Kakashi.
"Yeah… it's one of yours." Said Shanks.
Kakashi nodded.
And with that the first match of the preliminaries had begun… though things would get interesting… especially since they weren't sure if there would be a second set of preliminaries.
