Chapter 13: Quest Through the Maze
Luffy was pointing. After all this wasn't this forte. At least it wasn't as bad Zoro's…
But still… he was going to get lost…
But yeah…
This was going to suck.
"Okay! It's time to figure it out!" yield Luffy.
However it should be remembered he wasn't alone.
Luffy… seriously we have to find out our out of here…" muttered Beth.
"All right! I got this!" yelled Luffy.
"No you don't,…" muttered Sanji.
"Oh come what makes you think I don't!" yelled Luffy.
"Many reasons." Said Sanji.
"Do you have any rope?" asked Beth.
'No…" said Sanji knowing what she was getting at.
That was when Luffy began to wander off.
"Don't wander off you idiot!" yelled Beth and Sanji.
And so they had to chaise after him.
"I hope moss head instant having a hard time with this." Muttered Sanji.
Meanwhile with Zoro, Robin, Alice and Megan…
They were trying to follow it.
"Should we just let him do whatever he wants…" said Alice.
"What do you mean?" asked Megan.
That was when they noticed that Zoro was going the way it wasn't pointing.
"Wait! dangerous go alone!" yelled Megan, "And much I want to give you sword after saying that! Just listen"!
"Look I already have mine and Robin know where hers is." Said Zoro.
"That still sounds like a bad idea." Said Robin.
"They are right…" said Alice.
"Plus you know… Loki and Eris are trying to stop us from fixing the universe!" yelled Megan, "You know! The thing that needs fixing… so you can have your original life restored which can't happen if you die again…"
"Hearing that is weird." Said Zoro with a sweat drop.
"Well it's the truth…" sighed Megan.
"Why couldn't you get stuck with Nami…" said Alice.
"Either way, we should find the object of legend." Said Robin.
She began to head to where it was optioning however Zoro went the wrong way and Robin started to drag him along.
"Nami should have been the one stuck with him…" said Alice.
Meanwhile with Nami, Amy, Bailey and Ko.
"So which way should we go?" asked Bailey.
"Why should I know which way to go?" asked Nami.
"You're the navigator." Said Baily.
"Oh just because I'm the navigator means I know where the go." Muttered Nami.
"Yes!" said Bailey.
Both Ko and Amy rolled their eyes.
"At least we're not with Luffy or Zoro…" sighed Ko.
"You got that…" said Amy.
Amy just looked at the pair bickering and decided to way to tell them that she had a method they could use.
Meanwhile with Chopper, Usopp and Emily.
They made their way through the maze.
"Do you think we'll be able to make our way out?" asked Chopper.
"I have no idea… sorry." Said Emily.
"That's not helpful!" yelled Usopp.
"Well sorry but anyways… come on gang! Let's go see if we can find the way out or another group." Said Emily, "Why did I just say it like that…"
Chopper shrugged.
Meanwhile on Konegi Island…
The ship that was going to be used…
"Are you sure this all we need?" asked Shanks.
"We're not taking that much booze." Said Ace with a sweat drop.
Yeah… but…" said Shanks.
The other two looked at him.
"I have my own issues with alcohol you know…." Said Tashigi.
"I have to be the mature one don't I?" asked Ace with an sweat drop.
Neither one answered.
Back in the maze with Nami, Amy, Ko and Bailey.
Amy was making a vine using that old method to make sure they wouldn't get lost.
"Why didn't you just say you could do that earlier!" yelled Bailey.
"you were angry!" yelled Amy.
"Seriously! You could have brought it up." Muttered Bailey.
"Wait… how is this allowed on the other things won't work?" asked Nami.
"It's within the rules." said Amy.
"Seriously?" asked Ko.
"I'm in training… okay…" said Amy.
Meanwhile with Luffy, Beth and Sanji, Sanji sighed as they went thigh the maze.
Because he kept having Luffy from doing something stupid.
But thankfully Luffy noticed something.
"What's the thing!" he said.
"What thing?" asked Sanji.
Luffy pointed to the vine in the ground.
"Its' a vine!" said Beth, "We're on the path to Amy at least!"
"All right!" said Luffy,.
"If we follow it we'll find Amy!" said Beth with hearts in his eyes.
Beth rolled her eyes.
"Come on…" she said.
They started to follow the vine, knowing that they would eventually fine the group.
Meanwhile with Robin, Megan, Zoro and Alice.
They hit another dead-end.
"Seriously!" mattered Zoro.
"That's the problem with mazes, even if you know where you're going you still get lost." Said Robin.
"We'll find it eventually." Said Alice.
"Or I could just down the walls." Said Zoro.
"Why am I the straight man?" asked Megan, "I'm not supposed to be the straight man!"
"Don't worry we'll find out it eventually." Said Robin.
"This way." Said Zoro.
"Don't make me freeze you!" yelled Megan.
"Hey!" called out a voice.
They turned and saw Usopp, Chopper and Emily.
"Oh thank you! One of you could be the straight man to Zoro!" cried Megan.
"What?" asked Usopp with a sweat drop.
"You do not wanting know…" said Alice.
Meanwhile with Luffy, Sanji and Beth they followed the vine.
That was when they found the other group.
"We found you!" yelled Luffy.
"All right! We found some people!" cheered Bailey.
"so did any of your stone activate?" asked Beth.
"No…" said Nami.
"Like the stone will be any help…" said Alice, "It act like a compass doesn't it… it will just point you in the right direction but you have no way of finding the way…"
"Yeah… she kind of has a point." Sighed Amy. "Actually using a vine in along with a stone would probably be the best option."
"Our best hope is to find the exit." Said Nami.
The other agreed.
"All right let's go to the exit!" yelled Luffy.
He began to walk in a random direction that was nowhere near the vine.
Nami punched him in the head.
"Come on let's go the right way." Said Nami.
Amy led the way as they followed the vine.
Back at Konegi Island… the three were done packing their boat.
"You don't think anyone will say good bye?" asked Shanks.
"I doubt it…" said Tashigi.
"Everything is so messed up…" said Ace.
Shanks nodded as they prepared to set sail.
Meanwhile in the house's kitchen Usa was just sitting at the table sighing while holding her hands in her face.
"Usa…" said Hikaru.
Usa jus sighed.
"I can't wait until everything's fixed…" said Usa.
"Usa…" said Hikaru.
"Knowing that none of this was meant to happen helps… but it still hurts." Said Usa.
Hikaru began to comfort his wife.
"It's going to be fine…" said Hikaru.
"I really hope so… because something might still go wrong…" said Usa.
"It will be fine! What happened back then was a freak accident." Said Hikaru.
I know…" sighed Usa.
Back with the three they finally set sail.
"So how are we supposed to help again?" asked Ace.
"We just have to figure it out." Said Shanks.
"You forgot." Muttered Tashigi.
Shanks didn't answer.
Back in the maze with Luffy's group they counited to use the vines path.
That was when they heard growling.
"Luffy… please tell me that was your stomach." Said Ko.
"No…" said Luffy.
They turned and saw some sort of monster.
"We did warn you right that there could be monsters in here?" asked Amy.
"Nope…" said Luffy.
"Well there's monsters in here…" said Amy who then face palmed.
"All right! Let's do this." Said Luffy.
Meanwhile with the other group they counted to follow the stone, or at least try.
However that was when they heard a strange noise.
"What was that." Said Chopper.
"Something…" said Megan.
"What do you mean something?" asked Chopper.
"You didn't tell them that there might be monster in here, didn't you?" asked Emily with a sweat drop.
"It sounded like you didn't say anything either." Said Megan with a sweat drop.
They turned and a giant scorpion showed up.
And Zoro grinned…
It helped that he had an object of Legend on him…
And with that things got more compacted in the maze.
