Ok so this is just a random idea I had and depending on the feedback I might continue it because I have an outline, well barely an outline but you get what I mean. As for those wondering about my other fanfic. I guess it's still up in the air. I have a chapter for it nearly done. It's just I don't know how to go about it since that fic didn't really have a plane. Also still no beta reader so there might be mistakes so just bear with me. Now that's all out of the way I hope you enjoy and all criticism is welcomed. Maybe not toxic ones but you know what I mean.

If someone were to say Midoriya Izuku's life was easy, then they never met him. Izuku was born to a lower middle class family and lived in an apartment for most of his life. A year after his birth his father, Midoriya Hisashi, left to work overseas, leaving Midoriya Inko to look after their son. Hisashi sent money and would always call and talk to his family. The family was doing well. When Izuku's 4th birthday passed he waited eagerly for his quirk to manifest. After months of waiting his mother took him to a quirk specialist.

"Your son might possibly not have a quirk Mrs. Midoriya." the doctor said to Inko. They were in the doctor's office sitting in front of his desk. A clack filled the room as Izuku dropped his All Might figure.

"What? But how can that be?" Inko asks in shock. No one in his family was quirkless and neither was Hisashi's. So what can be the reason behind this? The doctor took out a folder which was labeled with Izuku's name. He takes a few papers out of it and hands them to Inko.

"Well according to his x-ray he doesn't have an extra toe joint, which normally means they well have a quirk, so we decided to run a blood and dna test to see if your son has the quirk factor." As the doctor explained Inko looked at the papers. She sees the x-ray first and quickly switches to the other papers and sees the results.

"It says the results came positive for the quirk factor. Why are you saying he might not have a quirk?" Inko asks, confused. She glances at Izuku and sees he is still in shock, just staring at the floor.

"It did come back positive, but his quirk factor is, in lack of better words, weak compared to others. It might develop later in his life, but the chances of that are slim." The doctor says evenly while giving the boy a sympathetic look. He knows how those with weak quirks are treated. He couldn't imagine how those without them are treated.

The doctor continues "Izuku I understand you want to be a hero, but the cards aren't in your favor. There still are other ways to help people, so don't let this set you back." His efforts at comforting the child went deaf to his ears. Inko thanks the doctor and leaves with Izuku.

The car ride was silent. Inko didn't like it one bit. Her baby's whole world shattered just an hour ago and now she was going to have to tell Hisashi this. She doesn't know how he'll react, hopefully in a positive way. She decides to make izuku's favorite tonight and let him watch his favorite movie. When they reach their apartment she sends Izuku to his room to change while she makes dinner. Only minutes into preparing his katsudon she hears sounds of flames and rubble. She sets everything down and heads towards the noise.

She enters the room that has the computer in it and sees Izuku watching All Might saving people from a disaster. She can hear her son sob and it pulls her heart. "Do you think I can be a hero mom? Like All Might?" When those words left her son's mouth, her heart shattered. She wanted to tell him she's sorry and how she wishes she could give him the thing he wanted. But when she saw her son's face, she knew that it would only make things worse for him.

"Yes you can honey, you can be a hero that everyone needs." She said and hugged her son close to her. She can hear his sibs grow louder, but she can tell they were from joy not sadness. At this moment Inko Midoriya decides to support her son's dream and be there for him whenever he falls. They both cried for the rest of the night.

Izuku is now halfway through his first year of junior high at Aldera and, if he were honest it lived up to what he expected. That wasn't a good thing because he expected to get bullied and ridiculed throughout the year, maybe even more. At least the new girl in his class seemed nice, even if she hasn't acknowledged him yet. Though with how popular she was getting was probably why. It was probably for her looks and quirk.

She was a tad shorter than him by a couple centimeters but puberty seemed to hit her early because she had a considerably sized bust for her age and her thighs weren't bad either. And she had short blonde hair that looked amazing and which complimented her eyes. What he was more interested in was her quirk. When she introduced herself she said her quirk was called Dragon, that she could transform into a dragon that grows as tall as a one story building. He had so many questions he wanted to ask like if she could control the size, if she can transform limbs, or if she can do things like dragons in myth and breath fire.

The final bell rang signaling school ended. Their teacher told them their homework (which would be easy for Izuku because he has the highest grades) and dismissed them. As he was packing he heard a noise and saw the new girl leaving. He stared a for a bit until he was hit in the back of the head by a notebook. Turning around he sees Suda Katashi, a frequent bully whose quirk allows him to harden his nails. He is quite tall for his age and has black hair and an average body build.

"Look what we have here. Little Deku diary. What have you been writing about?" Suda says taunting the poor boy. Those left in the classroom, including the new girl, stood there and watched. Some felt sorry for the boy while others couldn't care less for the quirkless teen.

Suda takes a look inside and sees the content. "You have a notebook full of quirks, yet you don't have one yourself. God that's pathetic. Haha." Suda laughs for a bit. Izuku was about to ask for it back until he saw Suda with a look on his face that promised trouble. Next thing he knew his notebook was ripped to shreds from Suda hardening his nails. Izuku could only stare in shock.

"K-katashi-kun, why did you d-do t-that?" Izuku asked worried what the taller boy would do next. Suda just sneered at the smaller boy and started leaving. Right when he passed him he whispered something into the boy's ear.

"Go jump off a roof and get a quirk, then you can ask me questions."

Suda continued to the door leaving Izuku in shock. How could he not be in shock, he was told to just kill himself. He knew something like this would happen but was never prepared for it. For beatings and insults yes, but no one is ever ready for this. When Izuku comes back to his senses he was the only one left in the class. He looks at the clock and surprisingly only a minute passes. He gathers his stuff and leaves.

As he exits the school he's still thinking about what he was told. He was broken out of his stupor by a melodic laugh. He turns and sees it was the new girl. He sees her separating from her new friends and has just started to cross the street. That was when he saw a car speeding towards the girl. Before he knew it he was running towards the girl. He doesn't know why he's doing it, but he knew he wasn't going to make it. He wasn't going to be able to save her.

'I'm almost there, just a jump away!' he screams in his head. He felt a pull in his gut and instinctually pulled it. Next thing he knew he was right next to the girl, who was looking at the car that was just a meter from hitting them, and tackled her out of the way. He tried to angle the fall so he took most of the damage, but ended up on his side while still holding her.

When he opened his eyes he saw the girl looking at him with disbelief. "Are you ok?" he asks just to see if she was alright.

Ryuko Tatsuma couldn't believe her ears right now. This boy with her new school uniform just saved her,and himself, from getting hit by the car and asked if she was alright. She was enjoying her first day at her new school and then all this happened. She could only nod in response.

The boy gets up and helps her up. An officer who seemed out of breath reached the two. "Are you kids alright?" with concern in his voice.

"Y-yeah we're f-fine." the boy responds with a red face. Why was his face red? (Izuku just realized that he just held a girl)

"Thank god, boy if you didn't teleport this girl would have been in bad condition, maybe even worse." The officer says rubbing his head. He seems way too stressed.

"Wait teleport? I can't teleport." Her savior, yes savior, said in confusion. If he couldn't teleport then maybe he has a speed quirk, that made sense.

"Well I have to make a report of this so you can tell me your names and quirk to sort this out. Oh by the way I'm officer Tsukauchi." The officer said while grabbing his notepad.

"I'm Tastume Ryuko and my quirk is Dragon, which allows me to transform into a dragon." Ryuko says, giving the boy next to her a side glance. Izuku meanwhile is a bit nervous having to stand next to a pretty girl, with a pretty name to boot, while being questioned by an officer.

"I'm Midoriya Izuku," he hesitates for a brief moment "and I don't have a quirk." Both look at the boy in shock with Ryuko not believing it.

"Truth." Tsukauchi still says in disbelief. "So you're quirkless?" he asked, recalling a familiar blonde American otaku he knew. He swore he saw the boy vanish from thin air and appear next to her to tackle her.

"Well not exactly." Izuku says scratching the back of his head "I have the quirk gene and everything, but it's weak and the doctor said it would appear later in my life." Izuku felt embarrassed saying this but its become common practice for him.

"Lie" the officer planely said, surprising the young teen. "Kid my quirk is called Lie Detector and I saw you use your quirk to save this girl." Tsukauchi puts his hand on the kid's shoulder "Midoriya you do have a quirk."

Izuku stood there in disbelief. "Are you okay Midoriya-kun? You're crying." Ryuko points out, concerned for the teen's health.

"Oh sorry I just get emotional." Izuku says, wiping his eyes. They then gave their report to Tsukauchi and were escorted home. They reached Izuku's home first and let's just say the Midoriyas are an emotional family. Inko also met Ryuko and Ryuko found the woman quite nice. Tsukauchi gave the family his number because he knew people that can help Izuku with his quirk. This leads to more water works and thank yous'.

The next day at school Izuku was eating lunch by himself and wondering how his quirk worked. 'I felt that pull in my stomach, so it has something to do with that and Tsukauchi-san did say he saw me teleport so that might be it.' With these thoughts he continued eating. Then he heard someone sit in front of him. He looks up and sees Ryuko eating her lunch. He looks around and sees people whispering, most likely why she's sitting with him.

"U-uh R-ryuko-san, why a-are you here?" Izuku asked nervously. Can you blame the guy he rarely talks to people besides his parents and aunts and uncle, and hardly even spoken a word to the opposite sex. Said oppostie sex is right infront of him and currently confused.

"Is that a problem Midoriya-kun?" she says thinking she offended him. "N-n-no it's not a problem I'm just wondering why your sitting with me of all people." He says looking a bit dejected.

"Can I not sit with my savior?" she says with a smile at seeing him sputter and blush. "I also came here to thank you. I plan to become a hero, but seeing that speeding car I froze. I honestly thought I would die, until you saved me." she says with her head down.

"I-it's no problem. Anybody would do the same." Izuku is not used to this kind of praise. "To be honest my legs just moved on their own when I saw you in danger."

"And that makes you a true hero. And you didn't even know you had a quirk. All the more reason you are a better hero than me." she says with her head down. Izuku, scared he might have upset the girl, said something that intertwined their fate.

"Let's become heroes together then."

Izuku said that with so much confidence it made her look up and see his warming and welcoming smile. She could only smile back and anticipate what the future had in store for them.
