2That picture? EPIC. Anyway, welcome, to utter nonsense. I wish there was a genre for silliness, because this would fit right story, which is a oneshot if you didn't read the description, is non-canon. In other words, it isn't part of the Mario universe that I have created. And just remember, don't lose your mind too!
"Ludwig!"
The shrieky cry from the basement had become a regular thing for Ludwig. So regular in fact, that he could predict when it would happen. He would often have to put down his sheet music, paintbrush or wrench to go answer the shout. He had decided that this would be the last time though.
"Yes, Iggy?"
"LUDWIG! Thank goodness you're here! I'VE LOST MY MIND!"
" Well, that's not uncommon. Shall I fetch the straitjacket? "
"Erm... No thanks. But I mean literally! It crawled out of my ear and ran off!"
" Iggy. I have enough, and I can't stress that word further, I have had enough of this. Every time, you tell me something silly. Like last time, you told me that shy guys were going to betray us. Now, I am going. "
Iggy was left in the basement. He sighed and closed the door to his lab.
One Week Later
Iggy burst into Ludwig's room, a demented smile on his face. He reeled from shock to see Ludwig in bed, with a green face and a thermometer in his mouth.
"Luddy.. W-W-What happened?"
" Ugh... I found a bottle of corona beer in Roy's room... So I confiscated it... And it's been sitting in here... And it made me really sick... "
"Did you drink it?"
" No... But I think there is an airborne virus on it... Feels like a type of flu... "
"AGH! I DON'T WANNA GET CORONA-FLU!"
Iggy jumped backwards so he was standing outside. Ludwig got up, grabbed the Corona beer and threw it out of the window. A look of relief passed over the eldest's face.
"Aahh... Much better. I don't feel sick any more! Also, apologies Iggy. I do believe you about losing your mind, as I did some research and found out it was possible."
" GAHAHA good. I made some special goggles for us so we can see my mind... And hold it and put it back in my ear! I also made a spare pair. "
The two put on their goggles and started searching.
Bowser Jr was enjoying a nice game of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe when Ludwig and Iggy walked past. They glanced around the room, then left. Bowser Jr noticed that an odd pair of goggles had fallen out of Iggy's shell. They were identical to the ones they had been wearing. He shrugged and put them on. Everything seemed to be the same, so they weren't VR headsets. He looked around. The sofa, the door, the TV, the Switch, the miniature Iggy sitting next to him, wait, what?
"Who are you?" Bowser Jr asked the little Iggy.
"I'm Iggy's mind!" He replied in a squeaky, high pitched voice. "Can I play Mario Kart with you?"
" Erm... Sure? "
Bowser Jr quickly set up a controller for the little being. The two started to play.
"We've searched the whole castle and we still haven't found it!" Iggy said, panic evident in his voice.
" I don't know where it is, mein bruder, but I hope we find it soon. I am starting to sweat. "
"Perspiration is a curse, huh?"
" Indeed. "
"Let's try the gardens. Hopefully he is there!"
The two walked out into the gardens, passing many different activities going on. They looked high and low for the mind, but still no luck. That was, until Ludwig was something jump out of the window.
"Iggy?"
" Yes? "
"Your mind jumped out of the window."
" HUH? "
BANG! Bowser Jr landed in front of them, wearing a pair of the special goggles. "G-G-Guys!" He panted. " Iggy's mind just played Mario Kart with me! And then he jumped out of the window! "
"Where did he go?" Ludwig asked.
" I don't know! "
Whilst the three were chatting away, Iggy's Mind snuck into the Kart shed.A dusty Mushroom on a shelf made its way into his line of sight.. He grabbed it and grew to twice his size. He wasn't as tall as Iggy though, around a quarter of his height. But he could still ride a kart. He snickered as he started the engine, ready to go.
Before he could, however, he heard a THUD THUD THUD. The roof of the shed flew off as a Giga Mushroom Ludwig gazed down at him. "You're coming with me." He boomed whilst trying to scoop Iggy's Mind up. Iggy's Mind grabbed an Item Box from the shelf where the Mushroom came from. A Lightning Bolt popped out. He threw it at Ludwig. The giant Koopaling roared, falling backwards and shrinking from Giga form to Mega form.
Easy as pie. Iggy's Mind thought as he ran. Now I can escape. He rather foolishly took a left and bumped into Iggy.
"Ow..." He winced as he stood up. Iggy hadn't seemed to notice him yet. Then, Iggy gazed down. His face turned into a bewildered look. Iggy's Mind screamed as he was picked up and pushed into Iggy's ear.
"Hehehe..." Iggy laughed as he used his new 'Snooze-You-Lose-o-Matic' on Ludwig. He had programmed it to give Ludwig a bizarre dream about a mind jumping out of a window into a racing kart. Well, that was the gist of it. Ludwig's mind would make the rest of the dream himself. "I should get to bed." He yawned before trudging down from the fifth floor to the third floor. He opened the door to his room, and jumped into bed next to a sleeping Lemmy. Uh oh. He thought. I left the Snooze-You-Lose-o-Matic in Ludwig's room. Hopefully he won't be mad.
Next Morning
"IGGY!"
