Personal Note: This fanfic was written in response to the 2020 Beirut Explosions as Hellflores and I present this fanfic in tribute to the victims of this tragic accident in Lebanon.
Summary: This fanfic takes place on August 4th 2020, on the day of the Beirut explosions as Gwen, Courtney, Trent, Bridgette, Geoff, Mike, Zoey, Cameron, Dawn, Brick, Jasmine, Shawn, Sky, Dave, Ella, Carrie, Devin, Emma, Kitty, and Mickey meet at High Park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to talk and share their thoughts on the tragedy and more.

It was Tuesday, August 4th, 2020 as Gwen, Courtney, Trent, Bridgette, Geoff, Mike, Zoey, Cameron, Dawn, Brick, Jasmine, Shawn, Sky, Dave, Ella, Carrie, Devin, Emma, Kitty, and Mickey met at High Park in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Just several minutes ago... a massive explosion took place in Beirut, Lebanon killing hundreds of innocent people, hurting thousands of others, and more.
"Hey everyone, we're all glad you all could come." Gwen said to everyone.
"Yeah..." Bridgette said to everyone as well.
"So, what happened?" Ella asked Bridgette.
"None if you know yet, huh?" Courtney asked as many of them nodded up and down answering 'No'.
"Is something wrong?" Mike asked Gwen and Courtney.
"Yes Mike, something is wrong." Gwen answered Mike.
"Something horrible happened." Courtney said to everyone.
"What happened?" Shawn asked Courtney before she and Gwen looked at Trent who sighed a bit before he began to speak.
"A powerful explosion happened in Beirut, Lebanon ... killing 158 people so far and injuring 6,000 more." Trent told everyone sans Gwen, Courtney, Bridgette, and Geoff who knew about it as those who didn't know about it gasped.
"Oh my god!" Everyone else shouted in shock.
"You're serious?!" Zoey asked Gwen.
"He is, Zoey." Gwen answered Zoey.
"So many people died, so many more were injured, 80 people are currently missing and 300,000 people have been displaced." Courtney said to Zoey.
"How did the explosion happen?" Shawn asked.
"It was caused by an Ammonium Nitrate Explosion at the Beirut Port... it was an accident." Gwen answered Shawn.
"Was it? Because-" Shawn asked before Courtney was cut off.
"Yes, it was a complete accident... it wasn't an attack at all." Courtney answered Shawn.
"Courtney, who said it was an attack?" Zoey asked Courtney.
"That dumbass President Donald Trump." Courtney and Gwen answered Zoey which led to disgust and anger.
"Oh god!" Everyone shouted in complete disdain over the current 45th President of the United States.
"Why would he be saying stuff like that?" Cameron asked everyone before Dave stepped in.
"He's just desperate since he know he's gonna lose!" Dave said to everyone before Geoff began to speak.
"I agree Dave and besides we're Canadians for goodness sakes." Geoff said to Dave.
"Yeah!" Everyone said to Geoff in agreement.
"Even though we live in Canada, everyone else has to deal with his madness." Emma said to everyone.
"Either way, he's not our concern at all." Kitty said to everyone.
"Yeah!" Everyone said to Kitty in agreement.
"So, does anybody have any thoughts on the explosions?" Courtney asked everyone.
"How about we go one at a time we share our thoughts." Bridgette said to everyone.
"Okay." Everyone said to Bridgette.
"Who wants to go first?" Bridgette asked everyone.
"I'd like to go first." Dave said to Bridgette.
"Okay then, Dave... tell us your thoughts on the explosions." Bridgette said to Dave.
"Well, I'm just worried about the children that don't have their parents anymore, the same thing could be said about the parents that have lost their children in the explosion." Dave said to everyone.
"That is understandable Dave." Bridgette said to Dave.
"I'm worried about the ones who lost loved one and friends in the explosive and also though who were around it." Sky said to Dave.
"As am I Sky." Jasmine said to Sky.
"Thank you." Sky said to Jasmine.
"Ella, you have something to say?" Gwen asked Ella.
"I am just horrified to learn something like this has happened. All those innocent lives gone... it's just so... heartbreaking!" Ella answered Gwen before she and Jasmine hugged.
"I'm just sad to know that many people who had good lives are no longer alive, what if they had something amazing in their lives and that explosion ruined everything for them."
"I agree." Devin said in agreement.
"Me too... all of those innocent lives... ruined forever. Whether they were injured or... they lost their lives, even their families are destroyed by this." Carrie said to everyone.
"I know, it's awful." Kitty said to Carrie.
"Definitely! It is so horrible." Emma said in agreement with her little sister.
"Zoey, what are your thoughts?" Gwen asked Zoey.
"Honestly... I am just sadden to know about all those families who lost someone in that explosion. A son, a daughter, a wife, a husband, grandparent, uncle, aunt, brother, sister, cousin, mother or father... they lost someone important in their lives and it just break my heart so much." Zoey answered Gwen before she teared up a bit before she hugged Mike.
"I'm feeling the exact same way." Mike said to Gwen also.
"We all are feeling that way, Mike." Courtney said to Mike before Gwen was next to speak.
"We all feel horrible for anyone who lost someone in that explosion." Gwen said before Dawn was next to speak as she has some choice words for the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump.
"Yeah, besides... President Donald Trump doesn't care about the world, he only cares about himself, he is nothing more but a biter old mean bastard." Dawn said to everyone who gasped.
"What?" Dawn asked everyone.
"It's just that we never knew you can talk like that, Dawn." Cameron said to Dawn.
"Well... it is true, yes." Dawn said to everyone before she continued to speak.
"I'm sorry for the language, but I have never seen such irresponsible leadership in my life." Dawn apologized before she finished criticizing Trump's absolute lack of leadership.
"I know bestie, even though we're Canadians... he just absolutely sucks." Zoey said to Dawn.
"So true." Everyone said to Zoey before Mike was next to speak.
"I know, he's a racist, a total pervert, plus... he also approves extra police force of anyone who isn't doing anything wrong." Mike said to everyone before Cameron was next to speak.
"Like with George Floyd." Cameron said to everyone.
"Yeah." Everyone said to Cameron in agreement.
"He also has no business running a country." Gwen said to everyone.
"Yeah!" Everyone said to Gwen before Courtney was next to speak.
"He acts like he's fours year old." Courtney said to everyone.
"Yeah!" Everyone said to Courtney in agreement.
"I don't understand why he was able to not get impeached at all!" Carrie shouted before Emma intervened.
"Carrie, he was impeached." Emma said to Carrie.
"He was?" Carrie asked Emma who nodded.
"Yeah, but he wasn't found guilty at all." Emma answered Carrie.
"What?! Why?!" Carrie asked Emma.
"Because of his ass kissing yes-man cronies." Emma answered Carrie.
"Another thing, he says that he's done more for black Americans than anyone else... I'm gonna share something that Keisha-Lance Bottoms said, she called him delusional and a narcissist, and you know what? I agree with her, he is a delusional old man that hasn't done anything for our race, but that doesn't even matter, he's been a god awful leader since he took over in 2017." Cameron said to everyone.
"Yeah!" Everyone said to Cameron in agreement.
"Even though we don't have to deal with him in Canada, he is still a huge pain in a butt!" Cameron said to everyone else before Ella was next to speak.
"He is holding immigrants in camps, keeping families apart and that is something a monster would do." Ella said to everyone.
"Yeah!" Everyone said to Ella.
"Okay... that's enough Trump bashing for one night you guys." Courtney said before Trent pulled out his guitar from his guitar case.
"How about a song... for everyone who lost their lives in the accident?" Trent asked everyone.
"Yeah." Everypne said before Kitty grabbed out her phone and began to film it as Trent began to play "If Everyone Cared" by Nickelback as he started to sing.
"From underneath the trees, we watch the sky confusing stars for satellites, I never dreamed that you'd be mine, but here we are, we're here tonight, singing Amen I, I'm alive." Trent sang the opening verse before Courtney and Ella were next to sing the pre-chorus.
"I'm alive." Courtney and Ella sang before Trent was next to sing the rest of the opening verse.
"Singing Amen I, I'm alive." Trent sang the rest of the pre-chorus before Courtney and Ella began to sing the first chorus.
"If everyone cared and nobody cried, If everyone loved and nobody lied, If everyone shared and swallowed their pride, Then we'd see the day when nobody died and I'm singing, Amen I, Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive, Amen I, Amen I, Amen I, I'm alive." Courtney and Ella sang the chorus and the post-chorus before Courtney began to sing the second verse.
"And in the air the fireflies, Our only light in paradise,We'll show the world they were wrong, And teach them all to sing along." Courtney sang the second verse before Ella was next as she was about to sing the pre-chorus.
"Singing amen, I, I'm alive, I'm alive, Singing amen, I, I'm alive..." Ella sang before she and Courtney were about to sing the chorus again.
"If everyone cared and nobody cried, If everyone loved and nobody lied, If everyone shared and swallowed their pride, Then we'd see the day when nobody died, If everyone cared and nobody cried, If everyone loved and nobody lied, If everyone shared and swallowed their pride, Then we'd see the day when nobody died, when nobody died." Ella and Courtney sang the chorus again before it was time for the bridge.

Imagine what the world could be." Ella sang the bridge before she and Courtney began to sing the chorus again.

Courtney and Ella sang before everyone began to sing the outro.

Then we'd see the day when nobody died."Everyone sang the outro beforeTrent finished the song as he stopped playing his guitar.
"That was very beautiful." Carrie said to everyone.
"Yeah." Everyone said to Carrie in agreement.
"Before we part ways for the evening, I propose that we pray for the fallen victims of today's tragedy." Dawn said to everyone.
"Okay then." Everyone said before they held each other's hands, then they all closed their eyes and began to pray for the victims of the explosion.
"Dear God, we humbly pray for those who have been devastated by today's tragedy in Beirut, Lebanon." Courtney said before Gwen was next.
"Where more than 100 people have unfairly lost their lives, 6,000 people injured, families have been torn apart." Gwen said before Bridgette was next.
"Please watch over them, guide them, protect them and get everyone in Beirut through this tragedy." Bridgette said before her husband Geoff was next.
"As you do that, we look at our lives here, and we realize that... we have a blessed life because you let us have that." Geoff said before Mike was next.
"We really do, it could be any of us that experienced what happened in Beirut." Mike said before Zoey was next.
"We hope you watch over everyone who has been through what the lives in Beirut has been through today." Zoey said before Cameron was next.
"Bring them consolation and comfort." Cameron said next before Emma and Kitty were next.
"Help us respond with generosity in prayer, in assistance, and in comfort to the best of our abilities." Emma and Kitty said before Jasmine was next.
"Keep our hearts open." Jasmine said before everyone was next as the prayer was near it's end.
"We ask this in Jesus' name, amen." Everyone said before the prayer ended as they all hugged each other before everyone went their separate ways for the night.
THIS WAS AN AWESOME THING THEY DID.
