Well, I wrote three One Piece related poems, and honestly I have nothing to do with them, so imma just post them here, because technically it's fanmade stuff, so who cares. That one's a Lawlu poem.

I could see

I could see you.

I could see your eyes.
Sharp, deep, strong as steel,
Grey like the morning sky
Wondering how you feel.

I could see that day
When we very first met,
Your eyes showed me the way.
I hadn't fallen yet.

"Step back", you say?
A step forward is all you'll get.
Your eyes are on me but I stay,
Together, we can meet our fate.

I could see you.

I could see your hands,
The tattooed, agile fingers.
Your grip is a swordsman's,
Your skill that of a doctor.

I could see that time,
When you saved me,
Knowing it was a crime,
But you didn't care, you are free.

All these sleepless nights
Your fingers, flying to heal me,
Begging me, "Fight for your life".
I'm too weak, I'm so sorry.

I could see you.

I could see your hair.
A flowing, soft black sea,
I'm longing to touch it, to stare
At that violent, wild tsunami.

I could see that moment,
When you took off your hat.
Up, your dark hair went,
A raven ocean, as I watched.

It's been two years, it's true,
They did not make you older.
"You're beautiful", I told you.
You make everything better.

I could see you.

I could see your pain,
Your grief, and your rage.
I knew that until he was slain,
You would stay in his cage.

I could see you suffer,
The loss of your loved ones.
You said, "He killed his brother".
And he said you are alone.

I could see your fear,
I could see your hatred,
I could see your despair,
As everything faded.

I could see you.

You're hiding, but I can see,
Your relief, your joy, your love.
You finally smiled at me,
That in itself was enough.

Your eyes looked up,
At the true sky, at your freedom.
Your hand went up,
To your heart's steady rhythm.

I know what you thought,
When I said I was strong.
"I'm more trouble than I'm worth"
But I laughed. You were wrong.

You're worth everything,
Worth the danger I went through.
Because you're my friend,
I'd die and come back for you.

This was all for you.

Why can't you see
The beauty of our freedom,
Why can't you see
You were never alone.

Why can't you see
Couldn't see like I do
You're the one to save me
Because I love you.
