1Ladybug and Cat Noir sitting on the a roof looking the city of Paris at before sunrise talking about what happened, unsure what to do now Hawk Moth and Mayura had almost won, they had the Miracle Box, most of the miraculous, Master Fu was captured, Chloe was working with them and to make matters worse everyone they had teamed up with before being controlled by Miracle Queen (Chloe's new akumatized form) and had just (unintentional) admitted their identities as Rena Rouge (Alya), King Monkey (Kim), Pegasus (Max), Viperion (Luka), Carapace (Nino) and Ryuko (Kagami).
This was the closest that had come to losing, they only won because Master Fu had officially given the miracle box to Ladybug. To them it's feels like their starting over, knowing they shouldn't call on them again but who else could they call if every one of the people they would normally turn to might be watched by Hawk Moth waiting for one of them to slip up with the miraculous like with Chloe.
Cat Noir looked at Ladybug trying to come up with someone to give the Miraculous to "What about giving the mouse miraculous to Marinette, she didn't do half bad when we were fighting Kwamibuster and I didn't see her with all the others, So Hawk Moth might not know about her."
Ladybug looked away confused trying to come up with some excuse as to why they can't ask her "Maybe, what Adrien Agreste, I did originally give him the snake miraculous and he did understand the miraculous quickly."
Cat Noir didn't know what to say, he just replied with "Ladybug, we can find new people to give the miraculous to but it's like that time we accidentally switch our miraculous." Ladybug looked at the city realising what he was saying, they had enjoyed using each other's powers, but to them something just didn't feel right.
Normally Marinette would go to talk to Master Fu about this but he left Paris and give Miracle Box to her and lost his memory in this process now she doesn't know who she can talk to about this, Tikki she just tells her to trust her instincts, with Cat Noir she's more confused, she can't talk to her parents or friends about this and all the other Kwami's aren't sure what to do either.
"It just feels like we just won one battle but at the same time we lost another that was being fought. We're both agreed we're still all in, but it's like we're playing chess with half their piece stuck on the board unable to move" Cat Noir said looking at the city remembering all the times they saved Paris, when it was just the two of them. He looked at ladybug saying "It seems like a life time ago. does it?" Ladybug looked at him confused before realising what he meant.
"You mean back when we first got our miraculous." putting one of her hands over her earring remembering the time she almost gave up "Looking back at what we've been though it just seemed so much easier back then." Ladybug said with a slit smile of her face. "We had no idea what we were doing back then." She continued pulling out a small box with a pocket watch inside from her yo-yo. "You brought the watch?" he said unsurprised.
They had debate about using the rabbit miraculous but they weren't sure if it was the right choice to make, Ladybug flashed back to when she met Master Fu when he was hiding from Hawkmoth after learning about the Bunnix. She had asked him why he didn't use the rabbits power after he lost the butterfly and peacock. He responded by saying "Rewriting the past would be the easiest part dealing with the problems from the changes might be the hardest part because people are never sure what their actions could have created."
Standing up and walking to the centre of the roof "I never understood what he meant by that and still don't completely know what he meant by that." Ladybug told Cat Noir "Bunnix told us she was the hero of the last chance. You think this is when you give Alix her miraculous then? Ask Cat Noir "Maybe but if she use it to stop Chloe from teaming up with Hawk Moth then, we no need to give her the miraculous, so they would team up, leading us to give her the miraculous." She want on to say. "Yeah, that paradox is a little confusing so let's call that plan B for now." Cat Noir replied
The sun was just starting to rise and they knew at this point all they could do is deal with Hawk Moth and Mayura the same way they have up to this point, one day at a time and as a team. Both said their goodbyes and their separate ways going home to and try to at least get some sleep before they have to go to school and come up with some excuse as to why they're falling asleep in class.
