I do not own Harry Potter.

Being seventeen was not really especial. Not when he had been emancipated for just under three years by now, Harry mused as he went down for breakfast.

"Hey, cub" Remus greeted from the table. Last night had been a full moon, and he always felt energized after one, at least since he finally accepted his werewolf side and stopped with the wolfsbane. Hence, he was currently the only one eating in the breakfast room. Harry, due to the upbringing during his first thirteen years of life, was used to waking up early. Not as early as before, but it was still earlier than the rest of people in Slytherin Manor. The occasions when he did sleep in were rare, and no one dared to wake him up unless it was necessary.

"Good morning, Remy. Sirius and Marvolo still asleep?" he sat in front of the werewolf.

"I do not know, and I really do not dare to check" Remus laughed, and Harry smiled. Sirius' relationship with Marvolo Slytherin-Riddle, also known previously as Lord Voldemort, was… unexpected, but it was obvious to everyone that it was a good relationship for both men. They had named Harry their joint heir soon after the small bonding ceremony at the start of the summer, not only their individual heir. Unfortunately, both their bodies had endured so much that both were infertile, so they could not have children of their own.

"Better not risk walking in on them again, huh?" Harry snorted, and served himself some tea before buttering his toast. There was a small tower of bacon at Harry's left side, and he decided to grab a couple of bacon strips.

"You'd think I had seen everything back in Hogwarts, since Sirius is so shameless, but I really did not need to know those details about his married life. Besides, aren't they supposed to leave for their honeymoon at some point?"

"I'm still trying to convince Marvolo not to wait for it. He says he would prefer to go after everything is done" Harry sighed, "I just don't want them to waste time. And we are perfectly capable of dealing with the Death Eaters, and the Inner Circle, if that is his worry"

"We are friends with them, so maybe he fears they won't obey us"

"We can always threaten them with him, or Sirius. They learned Sirius is not to be messed with" both men chuckled at the memory of Sirius showing Bellatrix just how much of a Black failure he was. Hint: he proved he was his parents' son.

"True. So, will you try with Marvolo again?"

"I do think we can tell Sirius to press for it. He does want to go on their honeymoon as soon as possible. He'd make the Portkey in a heartbeat if Marvolo so much as hinted it" Harry snorted.

"Whipped, the both of them" Remus sighed, and took a sip from his tea, "I am guessing Fenrir still has not accepted your request?"

"Of course not. I'm just a brat, after all" Harry gave a huff that showed his frustration, "At least Charlie proposed to you already. I do hope you get married while I am here, and not at Hogwarts"

Remus smiled, "You are not a brat, Harry. And we wouldn't dream of not having you in our wedding, cub, don't worry about that"

Remus was a werewolf on a mission. While he did stay at Slytherin Manor quite a bit, he had his own cottage in Fenrir's pack's grounds. He, however, went to the main house of the grounds, though it was more of a manor. After knocking and being let in, he found Fenrir in his office, unsurprisingly.

"So… Fenrir. I was wondering… why you call my honorary godson a brat?" he started.

"Oh, yes, good morning, Remus, I am fine on this wonderful morning. And I don't know what you are talking about" Fenrir looked up from several reports of the pack cells around Britain.

"I am aware that he wrote to you and offered a courtship, and you did not accept it, and have refused contact with the brat. I am wondering. I have smelled attraction, lust, and even… love, from you, when you are close to him. I have smelled that from him when you are there, as well. So, tell me whatever reason you have to refuse my cub" Remus frowned. Once upon a time, he would have cowered at the glare Fenrir gave him, but now, he was offended on his honorary godson's behalf, and he had confidence in himself.

"It will pass, and I will be left thrown in the corner"

"I have known idiots, but must have beat them all in having no sense"

"Remus…"

"Perhaps you do not deserve him, after all. If you actually knew him, you'd know he does not play with people's feelings. Ever. He has been played with through his life, and he knows how that feels, and he would never do that, at least not to people close to him. I now do not understand why you even count into that category" Remus huffed, "I'm sure Stan would appreciate him more"

"Remus!" Fenrir growled, standing as he slammed his hands over his desk, causing it to crack a bit, "You dare to…!"

"Let me be clear, Alpha. I will be forever grateful to you for what you did for me, and for Bill, and you might be an ally, but my cub will always come first, as I am sure you understand. If he so much hinted at me that he wants you dead, I would die to do as he says, is that clear? If he is ever miserable because of you and wishes me to take care of it, I will do it and not ask questions. You have named an Alpha successor for those events. Or maybe I'd be the new Alpha, since I beat you in combat. So yes, Fenrir, I dare to suggest anything I want, because this is my cub, not a random guy I just met"

Remus snarled, and left in a rush, ignoring Fenrir's calls.

"What did you do?" Harry asked Remus three days later, and the werewolf looked up from his book. The younger wizard could understand how people underestimated him.

Remus wore knit sweaters, slacks, and casual shoes. He looked more like a librarian than a man that could rip you apart even if he was not transformed. The scars just made people think he'd been an unlucky nerd at some point, not a dangerous creature that could do worse on their bodies. But everyone that cared knew that Remus was the fiercest protector of those he loved, which in his youth had been four people, until three years ago.

"What?" Remus asked.

"Fenrir decided to mysteriously stay and mingle with the rest of the Inner Circle, something he did not do since I sent my request. So… what did you do?"

"Might have told him Stan would appreciate your feelings more than he does" Remus shrugged, and Harry snorted.

"It is as if he didn't know Stan is like a brother to me. Fenrir can be infuriating" Harry admitted, "So, why did you escape to the library?"

"I did not wish to see Fenrir. He is hurting you by rejecting you, for his cowardice"

"Some people rather not risk their feelings. Granted, I never understood why until he rejected mine" Harry admitted with a sad smile, "But do not call him a coward, please, Remy. I still love him, even if he does not care for me. Let's go, I still have some announcements after this little break"

"Oh?"

Harry gave him a smile as both walked back into the meeting room, where people were mingling.

The two Lestrange brothers had bonded a lot with the soon-to-be-Prewett twins, and were currently making pranks to play on the rest of the dark side, most probably, or new products for their joke shop. Percy, as usual, was blushing since Malfoy Jr. started talking to him and flirting, but he also was not running away, like the first time that happened. Harry could see Draco happy about that fact. Cedric was in deep conversation with Narcissa Black (not Malfoy), with whom he'd formed a weird friendship, and Hermione. His girlfriend, Tonks, was talking with Kingsley and Avery about their jobs and some new plans regarding the Ministry. Malfoy Sr. was holding hands with their resident Potions Master Snape, who was still getting used to the open affection. Blaise Zabini was actually talking with Fenrir and Charlie, though going by Charlie's excitement, it was about dragons.

Charlie was the first to notice Remus had come back, and Fenrir had noticed Harry first. The redhead excused himself, and went to kiss Remus soundly on his lips, much to the werewolf's pleasure.

"Sorry for interrupting your mingling, I just thought everyone ought to be here for some news. Of course, my fathers do know already" Harry gathered everyone's attention, "I have already visited Gringotts to claim my lordships and my inheritance, and, as of tomorrow, the ones that received money from me without my consent will be lacking said money, plus the interest I lost because of them"

"Oh, really?" Hermione perked up, "Did you perform an inheritance test? Anything new?"

"For one, my mother was not really muggleborn, but a half-blood, apparently, and she had a natural animagus ability that I inherited and had blocked by our esteemed old goat, of course, along with part of my magical core, as was expected" Harry said, his tone pretty much plain and devoid of any emotion, which most had recognized he was hiding some big emotion behind it, but they still could not figure if it was anger, hatred, or something else.

Hermione, however, was the only one that could tell it actually hurt him to have experienced all of it. She knew Ron had been his first friend, and Molly had been the first person to show him how a mother should be, even if she was quite the nagging type at times. And Dumbledore had gotten his hopes up, and had faked how much he cared about Harry and his home life. If it could even be called that, anyway.

"Oh, Harry" she went to hug him, and he smiled, hugging her back.

"I'll be okay" he whispered so only she could hear it, "We know the old goat should be dead by the end of the year, preferably after our graduation so we can actually enjoy it and people don't spoil our party" he added with a smirk.

"Which will be glorious, I assure you" Draco drawled.

"I would expect nothing less of you, Dray. Now, now. In giving you these news, I would like to ask for the ones that hold seats in the Wizengamot to teach me all I need to know"

"Of course, young lord, it will be our pleasure" Rodolphus smiled, "You're too grown up for your age, Harry"

"Being manipulated does that to you, Dolph" Harry chuckled, "Thank you"

"When do you wish to start?" Lucius added.

"All of you?"

"Of course, Harry. You're a lord in your own right, not only the heir to the Dark Lord, and we do want you to have the absolute best education in all matters" Kingsley said, with Avery nodding next to him. Harry smiled.

"Thank you"

"Any more news? Are you hiding any future husband somewhere?" Charlie teased.

"We do wish to see the continuation of your lines" Severus interjected, and Harry roughly translated that to the Potions master wanting to see him happy.

"No. I think I lack a love life altogether" Harry joked, "Well, stay as long as you wish! Oh… could I steal Dolph for a second?"

"Sure!"

Rabastan nearly pushed his brother to the young man, who laughed at the grumbling of the Lestrange lord.

"What can I help you with?"

"I… I do wish to marry and have my own family, Dolph, but I was already rejected by the man I love. Do you think you could help me look for someone to at least have children?"

Rodolphus watched the young man beside him, and sighed, "Is there no hope with the one you love?"

"I do not think so" Harry looked directly to the front, slightly lost in thought as they arrived to the gardens, "Have you had any luck with Hermione?"

"We will go on our first date next week" Rodolphus smiled, "She is… amazing, and so brilliant, and so… so perfect"

"She is brilliant, and she is the only one that was one of my first friends that was real… she is like a sister to me by now. I do think you have enough brains to know what will happen if she is ever unhappy because of you, right, Rodolphus?"

The Lestrange lord hid his gulp, but if there was one man he could fear even more than the Dark Lord and his husband, it was their adopted son. Even through the slight playfulness and good humor he had, one could see he was magically powerful, and everyone had been witness to what had happened to Peter Pettigrew. Even some of the Death Eaters that had been more on the bloodthirsty side had thrown up before he was even done. And for the ones he loved, Harry probably would probably burn the world down himself.

"Of course, Harry"

"Great. So… can I count on your help?"

"Do you wish for a pureblood? Older, younger?"

"Older, preferably, and I care not for blood that much, but do make sure they are powerful enough. Could be a creature, for all I care"

Rodolphus nodded, "Okay. I will search. Will you tell me? Who rejected you? As to avoid any misunderstandings"

"Fenrir" Harry sighed, "Just don't tell him I told you, and don't do anything to him. Remus already did something, and the last thing I want is trouble"

Rodolphus was slightly shocked, but then recalled the odd looks he had caught between them, and he understood. He left Harry to start looking for appropriate wizards, even with creature blood or status, who could be married to such an important man.

Harry was reading in the library, a habit he blamed on both Remus and Hermione, when Fenrir found him. It had been a week since the last meeting, and he could not stop thinking about Rabastan, Stan, possibly ending up married to his little chosen mate. He had noticed Rodolphus contacting single men, as if to check if they would be appropriate, and the only one he would be doing that for was Harry. For their Little Lord.

Sure, he was seventeen, but Fenrir towered over him, and was way bulkier than him. Most people were little to him, but the only one that had that as an affectionate adjective was Harry, who was muscular in a thin way. More like a runner's or, well, Seeker's build.

Fenrir had really resisted at first. The faint attraction he had felt towards Harry, but it was hard to do it. Keeping it to physical attraction had also failed, because the boy… no, the man was kind and considerate, even after all he had been through, and he cared, he honestly cared for Fenrir and his pack, and during his visits, he could not help wishing that Harry was his mate so he could be the leader at his side, and so they could have children, and… ugh. It was annoying, to put it mildly, when his heart had refused to listen. By now, even his brain was convinced, and he knew there was no going back.

So, no, Rabastan was not interested in Harry that much, and Fenrir knew the younger Lestrange man had not lied. He also had not lied when he said that he pitied the man that dared to hurt the Dark heir, because he already had the parental marriage of hell without adding the rest of the Dark families' heirs, even some of the current lords.

Yes, Fenrir knew that he had to do things right if he ever wanted to live to see another moon. The problem was, he feared he had pushed Harry away for good, because the young man had not even tried to get close to him again, and his invitations to Slytherin Manor had decreased, especially since Marvolo and Sirius were on their honeymoon.

Fenrir watched Harry reading. Or pretending to, because his eyes were far away, and his mind probably was not there.

"Little lord"

That worked like a charm, as the annoyed green eyes turned to him, "Alpha Greyback, to what do I owe your visit?" he closed the book, and looked at him, and Fenrir kind of hated that Harry had his Slytherin mask on. Perhaps he did not mind being called alpha, but the last name was a bit of a dampener in Fenrir's already declining hope.

"I was wondering if you would join me for lunch today"

"With such short notice? I am not a puppy to be at your beck and call" the annoyance was back, and a little flash of hurt had Fenrir grimacing.

"I did not want to portray that idea, little lord. I just wished to spend some time in your company"

"Fenrir. Just get on with whatever you want. Really, this can become tiring, you know I don't like keeping the pureblood act up with people I care about, especially not in my home" Harry slumped a bit, and pinched the bridge of his nose. Fenrir thanked the moon for small mercies.

"I wanted to apologize for hurting you the way I did, little lord. When I rejected you, I did think that you would be better off with another wizard, one that was not a werewolf, and that could make you happier than I could. I do not think you are a brat. You are the most considerate, loving, and mature man I know, and that is including your fathers. I… I love you, and… and when I saw the reality of Rodolphus searching for proper future husbands for you, I could not stand the thought of another man touching you, kissing you… they don't deserve you, and I do not, but…"

There was silence, and Harry was now staring at him, seemingly unsure on how to proceed, and then his eyes narrowed.

"I truly hate when people make choices for me, Fenrir. The only one that can decide who deserves me or does not, is me" he stood, and walked almost as the predator the bigger man was, much to Fenrir's surprise, "So we will get this figured out now. You will court me. I am not asking" some more steps, and Fenrir gave a step back, feeling the (unbelievably powerful) magic coming from the smaller and younger man. It made him step back as prey, instead of being the predator, and he only realized how much until he was sitting in one armchair, and Harry was just a few centimeters taller than being at his eye level in that position.

Fenrir, for the first time, did not mind being in a vulnerable position in relation to another person. Only because it was Harry. And he had not behaved like a blushing virgin since… well, since he had been one, once upon a time. Not when Harry had only straddled him.

"So, you will not make any choices for me now, right, dear?" Harry purred into his ear, and Fenrir could not recall why he had refused that courting offer all those weeks ago.

"I will not, my love" he promised, and gave a low groan when Harry decided to put his mouth to work on the shell of his ear, slowly making his way down to his throat, "By the moon, Harry, stop this, I can't…"

Harry just sucked harder, and even gave nips with his teeth, which, of course, weren't as sharp as Fenrir's, but the werewolf still gave out a pant at the feeling. The older man couldn't remember the last time he had been so turned on by such small actions. And Harry. Only Harry had managed it.

"I see you are interested" it wasn't until Harry rubbed his ass against his growing erection that he noticed he actually had one. Yes, he really did not have enough blood in his brain right now.

"Very" he growled, and stopped grasping the armrests like a lifeline, only to pull Harry closer, "You are playing with fire, Harry. I barely have any restraint where you are involved, even if there is a great risk of your fathers hexing my bits off"

"Good luck they come back next week, then? And I also did send Remus and Charlie for a little Greek holiday…"

"Harry" Fenrir growled, and Harry could see the amber eyes starting to glow a bit, and he smiled.

"Might claim me now. No better time than the present, was it?"

"Harry…"

"Of course, we can always…"

"Get naked, now!" the growl was nothing short of feral.

Harry smirked, and tried removing his shirt, but Fenrir appearated them away to his room. He gave a light glare, but also got naked. Fenrir taking control really was a turn on.

Fenrir looked down at the young man that was resting nearly on top of him, and his arm tightened a bit around his waist. The mark claiming him as his mate was not red anymore, but it showed a wolf and two stars glowing a bit in gold. He fingered the bite Harry had given him, and was both surprised and unsurprised at what he felt. Truly, he should have expected someone as powerful as his pretty little mate was able to leave a mate mark, even when he had no creature blood in him.

While most dominant werewolves would've been scandalized at the mere thought of their submissive mate claiming them back, Fenrir just loved feeling that he belonged to Harry as much as Harry now belonged to him. And maybe if he had Harry's mate mark, Marvolo and Sirius would be just slightly more appeased that they had mated without anyone knowing.

"I could get used to this" Harry's sleepy voice came, "Charlie really wasn't lying about a werewolf's stamina"

Fenrir blinked, and then let out a barking laugh.

"Minx"
