Sonic, Amy, Knuckles and Tails were at Eggman's quarters trying to get the Master Emerald back.
"How are we gonna do this?" Amy asked.
Sonic looked up and saw an opening to the air vent and smirked.
"I have an idea." he said.
"I'm all ears." Tails said.
"Go up to the air vent and try to open it." he told Tails.
So he spun his tails around a few times then went up high getting the vent open.
"All set!" he said.
"Next, Amy, got some rope as usual?"
She nodded.
"Grab it and hand it to me."
She was a little confused but did as told.
"What do you need rope for?" Knuckles asked.
"Tails, try and catch this!" Sonic said ignoring the question for a second.
So he tossed him the rope and Tails caught it.
"Perfect, Knuckles hold on to it for me."
So he held onto it.
"Alright, do you see anything you can tight it to?"
Tails looked around and saw a hook on top.
"Yeah, a hook on top."
"Tie it as tight as you can."
So he tied it nice and tight but pulled it to double check.
"All set."
"Perfect, now Knuckles, tie the other end onto the pole behind you."
He was starting to get the idea so he tied it as tight as he could.
"Got it." he said.
"Alright, now we're gonna climb up the rope and get to the top. Tails, I need you to go inside and help me get in the vent and then I'll help the other two."
He nodded and went inside.
"Alright, when I get on top I'll wave to you and you can start climbing."
Amy and Knuckles nodded.
Then Knuckles let him hop onto his hand and then he jumped.
While he climbed the rope Amy and Knuckles watched him.
"We're doing that?!" Amy said.
"I'm a little surprised to. But hopefully it will work." Knuckles said while he watched his friend climb.
When Sonic got to the top Tails took out his hand while Sonic swung back and forth a few times then let go and Tails caught his hand.
"Nice one Tails." he said.
Tails smiled and Sonic looked at the other two.
"Amy, you're next, that way you can step on Knuckles' hand and reach it."
They nodded and Knuckles put the inside of his hands together again. Then she stepped up and put her hands on the rope.
While she climbed she tried to keep herself focus.
"Almost there." Sonic said and took out his hand.
When she was close enough she swung back and forth a few times then jumped and caught Sonic's hand and pulled her in.
"You alright?" he asked.
"Yeah." she said and sat next to Tails.
"Alright Knuckles." Sonic said and Knuckles put his hand on the rope and started climbing.
While he climbed Sonic took out his hand and waited.
When he got there he swung back and forth a few times then grabbed Sonic's hand and he pulled him up.
"You OK?" Amy asked.
"Yeah."
"Tails, think you could go untie the rope for us so they don't know we're here?" Sonic asked.
Tails smiled and nodded then swirled his tails a few times and headed to the rope.
When it was untied he flew back up to them then untied the other one.
"Here you go!" he said and handed it back to Amy.
"Thanks Tails." she said and put it back in her backpack.
"Now what?" Knuckles asked.
"Now we head to Eggman and get the gem back." Sonic said and turned right. "When I was here by myself last year I found a way to get up on one and decided to look around for a second and found his lab. Then I made a map of the vent when I got home."
Amy, Tails and Knuckles was shocked.
"Where were we?" Amy asked.
"Tails had a cold so you took care of him and Knuckles was on Master Emerald guard duty. So I was on my own that time like the other fight us two had."
Knuckles winced at that second fight they had.
When they got to the lab they heard something and Sonic smirked.
"Bingo." he whispered while the other three were surprised but smirked to.
"I got it! Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends will never find it!" Eggman said.
"Yeah right." Knuckles said quietly."
"Now I just need to put it right there and I'll have control of all Molbius!"
Then the five of them looked at each other then nodded.
Sonic opened the vent and jumped down.
"Guess again Egghead." he said.
"The hedgehog!" Eggman said while the others went down to.
"You think you can beat me? Eggman Robotnik?" Eggman said.
"Oh, I'm pretty sure we can." Amy said then looked at the other three. "How many times have we won? I lost count after twenty."
"I lost count after sixty." Knuckles said smirking.
"I lost count after fifteen because I'm only five."Tails said.
"I lost count after ten." Sonic said.
Eggman growled and picked up a gun.
"What kind of junk is it this time?" Knuckles asked still smirking.
Before Eggman could answer he was hit by his fist.
"I don't really care to be honest."
"Tails, try and get the gem while we keep him busy." Sonic whispered and got to work.
Then Tails spun his tails a few times and started to fly and get the gem.
"You're getting old Egghead!" Sonic said and kicked him hard.
Then Amy aimed her hammer at Eggman's stomach and got him.
"Oww!" he yelled.
Then Tails got the gem and smiled but Eggman saw it and aimed a shot at him.
"Tails!" Sonic said.
"Ooff!" he said and landed on his back with the gem out of his hands.
"I got him." Amy said.
Knuckles hit Eggman with his fist.
"Nobody hurts Tails!" Sonic said and kicked him hard.
"You go and check on him, I'll keep Egghead busy!" Knuckles said and kicked Eggman hard.
Sonic nodded and ran over to him.
"You OK buddy?" he asked.
"Yeah." Tails said.
"Good. Now go try and get the gem for us while we keep him busy." Amy said and he nodded.
Then Sonic and Amy went back to go with Knuckles.
While they kept him busy Tails saw the gem and grabbed it.
"Sonic!" he said catching his attention then tossed it to him.
"Got it!" Sonic said. "Amy, catch!" he said and tossed it to her.
Then she caught it while she jumped and went to the side.
"Got it!" she said and put it in her backpack.
Then she grabbed a ring out of it to.
"Sonic!" she said and he looked up and she tossed it to him.
Then as usual he caught it.
Then he was in a ball going fast.
Eggman looked up at him.
"Oh no." he said.
Then he was hit by it and Sonic went back to normal then kicked him hard getting him to be in front of Knuckles who got him with his fist.
After that they ran as fast as they could but Sonic was opening doors with being in a circle. When it was open the three of them started to run again
A few seconds later Knuckles was then hit hard losing conciseness while the other three were gone.
