Chapter 1: the Red Stock Car
Disclaimer: Characters not mine, don't own anything. Bye.

The Red Stock Racing Car was speeding down Interstate 44, with a small basket tied on her hood.
"Faster, Come on, Faster!"
She heard multiple engines behind her, and laughing. She put out her lights and quietly took the first exit. There she hid behind a billboard.
The cars came closer and closer, and drove past.
"Where's the bitch?"
"She promised me she would stay there!"
"Oh she's gonna pay!"
The red car whimpered.
Luckily her engine was a quiet one.
The voices drifted away.
When she couldn't hear their engines anymore, she drove back to the interstate. She drove for hours and hours, passing fabrics and cities.
"Oh, the things I do for you Monty… I hope you will know I loved you more than anything else…"
She had taken a random exit an hour ago. She wondered where she ended up.
Then she saw it.
A beautiful waterfall.
Water rushing down the stones, looking for the narrowest openings to fall down further.
She wondered what it felt like to be a water drop.
No, No, first her little bolt must be on a safe place.
She drove past and saw a little town.
It's perfect.
She descended the mountain and drove near the city.
'Doctor Hudson, for all your little pains' she reads on the sign.
"He must be safe here, with a doctor." The stock car thought.
She untied the basket and laid it in front of the door. She knocked three times, before speeding away. She could not look back. She had to get as far as possible away from her little bolt. She thought off her letter. She explained everything.
Three days later she found a river.
She was found by her would-be 'boyfriend' and his gang.
She was hurt. Her right back wheel didn't spin properly, her engine felt like it could explode every second, and her gears didn't work anymore. Her back ached too. She wouldn't survive very long.
She found a river. She thought back to her ponderings three days ago.
She wanted that.
So she ignored the road edge and drove forward, and gassed as hard as she could while repeatedly switching between gears without using the clutch.
Her battered engine didn't hold.
She felt her engine shaking.
The car was dead before it touched the water.
