A Family Morning

I don't own Fairy Tail at all
A/N: this one's quite different from anything I've wrote before. I really don't write these kinds of stories. Enjoy.
Levy awoke as she heard a cry, a cry that was familiar. They weren't battle cries or the cries of fights she was used to hearing in the guild hall, but cries she knew quite well. She rolled over and then lifted herself out of bed stumbling a bit as she was still a tiny bit asleep. Once awake and on her feet she made her way out of the bedroom, taking a sharp left entering a small room, a nursery. She picked up the source of the noise and rocked the babe back and forth.
"Shh, shh, it's alright mommy's here" she cooed.
The baby calmed down and Levy checked to see if the baby needed its diaper changed which they didn't. She sighed as she gently rocked the baby back to sleep. She did that for a while until she was sure the baby was out then gently laid the baby back in its crib and headed back to her own bed.
/Scene Break/
The sound of birds chirping awoke Levy and she groaned. She turned over only to be hit by the sun's rays that made her wrinkle her brow and grumble a bit before turning over hoping to get some more sleep. This of course was foiled by laughter as sound of footsteps were heard. The sound of the footsteps were made by two kids, a boy and girl. The boy had blue hair in a spiky mess while the girl had pink hair that was done in a ponytail with strands hanging down the sides of her face.
"Mommy, mommy wake up. It's time to wake up!" the boy shouted happily.
"Yeah, time to wake up. Daddy's already cooking breakfast" the girl said.
They clambered on the bed to wake Levy up even further. Levy pretended to sleep and awaited for the right moment. As soon as the two kids got close Levy popped up surprising them. They cried out in shock and surprise as Levy began to tickle them mercilessly. The two kids laughed as they tried to evade their mom's assault. When things finally calmed down Levy looked her two kids with smiles.
"Morning Aurora, Theodore" Levy said.
"Mom, call me Theo. I hate the other one" the boy, Theodore, said pouting.
"That's because you just can't say it" Aurora giggled.
"Oh, and you can your name" Theodore said with red cheeks.
Aurora cleared her throat, "Aurora" she said clearly.
Theo pouted and was going to pounce on his sister, but was halted by Levy's stare that every mother has that freezes a kid in their tracks when they were about to do something they weren't supposed to do.
"So your father is making breakfast?" Levy asked.
"Uh-huh" Aurora said nodding her head.
"Yeah, he wanted us to come get you" Theo said.
"Okay, let me get up and we can go" Levy said.
Theo and Aurora got off the bed and Levy got up herself. She grabbed her bathrobe and threw it on. She followed her two energetic children out of the room and down the hall. Down the stairs and into the kitchen. She found her husband, Natsu, at the stove cooking. In the high chair was their youngest sloppily eating his food. Levy went over and grabbed a rag and wet it down then began to clean up the baby.
The baby, Igneel, looked up and grinned wide as they stared at their mom.
Natsu snuck up behind Levy and kissed her on the cheek.
"Morning" he murmured.
Levy smiled as she turned her head and gave her husband a proper kiss.
"Morning" she greeted.
The sounds of Theo gagging was heard then a smack and a yelp of pain. The two parents turned to find Aurora scolding Theo for ruining the mood.
"Sit down, breakfast is almost ready" Natsu said.
Levy nodded and took a seat. She went back to cleaning Igneel's face as it kept getting messy every scoop of baby food Igneel ate.
"Just like your father" Levy said with amusement.
"I wasn't all that bad" Natsu said unhappily.
"You were though you did get better" Levy said with a smile.
Natsu pouted.
"Are we seeing auntie Erza and uncle Jellal?" Theo asked.
"That's the plan" Natsu said.
"Is auntie Lucy going to there too?" Aurora asked.
"I heard she would be" Levy said nodding her head.
Aurora smiled at this.
"Breakfast, is served" Natsu announced as he began dishing out what he's cooked. His culinary skills have gotten much better. He'd never be a world class chef, but his food was much, much improved.
The family dug in as they talked more about the get-together that they'd be going to.
