Italic is for what the guardians are.
Jamie looked out the window after feeling something. It's January tenth and he's back in school.
He decided to go for a walk and visit his family.
When he got to the house he heard Sophie talking to herself.
"I know he doesn't believe in you anymore Jack. But I do. And I always will, even if I lose my friends." she said.
He stood there confused.
"Who is she talking to?" he wondered and headed over to her.
"Hi Sophie." he said.
She just looked at him.
"Hi Jamie." she said.
"Who are you talking to?"
"Jack Frost. Your former friend." she said. "I had to, I wanna help you. Bunny, Tooth, Sandy and North do to."
"Who are Bunny, Tooth, Sandy and North?" Jamie asked.
"The Guardians. Santa Clause, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and the Sandman."
Jamie felt a small part of him thinking about them.
"He's not gonna listen Sophie, he stopped believing in me five years ago. And now you're the only one I have." Jack said.
"Then why are you still so strong? Unlike Bunny, North and Tooth were?" she asked confused.
"I'm a seasonal and the Winter King. A seasonal doesn't need a believer. I went three hundred years without a believer. Only Guardians need one to survive."
"That long?!"
"Yeah."
"Did you ever hope you get a believer even though you don't need one?"
"Yeah. Sometimes Sandy would give me dreams about when he believed in me. "
"How?"
"I was mortal once, Jackson Overland. One of their strongest believers."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I'm the only spirit to be mortal once."
"What happened?"
"I was fourteen when I died after saving my little sister ice skating. When Pitch tossed me my tooth box thirteen years ago I got to see my memories, the day I became a spirit. After that I realized that I already was a Guardian. I know why I try and be careful with kids, it's because I saved my sister. I went three hundred years without a believer. When I lost Jamie I stayed in Antarctica for three weeks and Mother Nature understood so took care of winter for me so I could calm down."
Sophie felt bad for him. Then she thought of something.
"Did you say I'm your last believer?"
He nodded.
While Jamie listened to her a part of him was still nagging at him.
"Throw a snowball or something at him. Make him have fun!"
"I tried plenty of times but he never sees me."
"Throw a snowball at his face like you did when we were little and you started a snowball fight." she begged. "Please Jack. Make a bunny and make it come to life! You do it for me and did it when Jamie was the last believer!"
Before he could say anything she grabbed Jack and Jamie then headed up to her room then shut the door.
"Now, Jamie sit down and Jack make a bunny and have it go around!"
Jamie sat down and Jack sighed.
Being a Guardian he has to make kids happy and safe.
So he tapped her window with his staff and got frost on it.
Jamie was shocked and confused about that.
Then Jack made a bunny on the window and then focused on his power to get it out. When it was out Jamie looked at it in shock. Then it went around the room.
When it was gone snow went over Jamie's nose and both Jack and Sophie waited nervously.
Jack was the most nervous. If his heart hadn't frozen three hundred and thirteen years ago it would be pounding fast.
"Snow?" Jamie said and then remembered. "Jack Frost?"
Jack didn't say anything this time unlike the first time.
Then Jamie turned around and saw him ext to Sophie.
"Jack?"
Sophie looked at them back and forth.
"Jack?" she said.
Then he jumped and came back.
"Y-you can see me?" he said and Jamie nodded. "Y-you can hear me?"
Jamie nodded again.
'Deja vu.' Jack thought.
"See? I told you he was real!" Sophie said.
"I'm sorry Jack. I promised not to stop believing in you. But I broke my promise." Jamie said looking down in shame.
Jack couldn't say anything because he would start crying.
Sophie could tell so she held him close.
"Let it out Jack. You've been holding it for five years."
Then he gave in and turned into the child he really was. He started crying hard on her.
Sophie looked at Jamie and waved at him to come.
So he walked over and she handed Jack to him.
"See what you did? When you stopped believing in him he had to skip work all winter. Mother Nature was the one that made that winter. Jack would have caused a '68 Easter only winter! Maybe even worse! Until right now I was his last believer."
"Is he weak like Tooth, Bunny and North?" he asked getting worried.
"No. You must not have heard him, he's a seasonal and Winter King."
Then they stood there in silence while Jack started to calm down.
Then he let go and backed up.
"Please don't do it again. Don't stop believing in me." he said shaking his head.
"I promise I won't forget you. I'll always believe in you." Jamie said.
"I will to." Sophie said smiling.
Then she gave him a hug and Jamie did to.
"We'll always believe in you." Jamie said smiling.
