Kevin was snoozing in the castle the next day. He suddenly felt someone tapping his shoulder.
"Huh?" Kevin stirred looking.
It was Camula. "Good morning."
"Oh morning Camula." Kevin said groggy before sitting up yawning.
"You certainly slept well, but you received a message earlier." she told him. "Your friend Zane suggested finishing your tale?"
"Oh... Yeah." Kevin said standing up revealing he's only in boxers, and socks.
Camula blushed slightly. "Kevin... the bathroom is the third door on the left."
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Kevin asked groggy rubbing his eyes.
"When young men first wake up..." Camula explained.
Kevin soon blinked before looking, and blushed, "Uh sorry, it was getting hot last night."
"I know that it's..." Camula started before sighing. "Kevin... morning wood, you need to use the bathroom."
Kevin walked off at that. She sighed before walking out of the room to meet with Kevin's friends. They were waiting in the room where the Duels happened.
"You all are looking well." Camula noted calmly.
"How's Kevin doing in this place?" Alexis asked her.
"He's doing well, he should be here soon but... could someone catch me up as to what he's talking about?" she requested.
"We were talking about his past." Zane answered.
Camula nodded at that.
"Well..." Alexis told her before explaining what they told them so far to Camula.
Camula blinked in surprise hearing that just as Kevin walked up.
"What you all talking about?" Kevin asked wearing his attire.
"You apparently." Camula answered.
"Oh my past, and such. Well, it's time to tell the rest of it." Kevin said to her.
"That makes sense." Zane nodded.
With that Kevin starts to explain.
Flashback...
Kevin: Well I felt bad at losing at that match with Kaiba after everything, I had through. But he soon snapped me out saying that my efforts aren't important. It's the match, and the thrill is what.
Kevin younger was looking down on his knees.
"I have to admit, not bad." Kaiba mentioned.
Kevin looked up at him, "Huh?"
"You put up a decent match, you just might have some actual potential." Kaiba told him.
"But... I lost..." Kevin trailed off only to get surprised by what Kaiba said next.
"So? You're familiar with Battle City aren't you? The tournament I hosted a long time ago?" Kaiba asked him. "Tell me, what happened to me in that competition?"
"Huh... Well... You had Obelisk against Yugi who has Slifer, and nearly beat him... But he pulled a turn around, and destroyed all three of your Blue-Eyes, and took you out." Kevin answered.
"Exactly, I lost." Kaiba told him. "The perfect deck, perfect strategy, and best cards and I still lost."
Kevin stood up hearing that looking up.
"Now I want you to tell me Kevin Striker, what do you think I did after Battle City and my defeat?" Kaiba asked him.
Kevin gave thought before answering, "Got better then ever."
"Exactly, you lost today but you're the one who decides if this is the end, or the beginning." Kaiba smirked.
Kevin blinked with widen eyes hearing that.
"We'll meet again one day, don't disappoint me." Kaiba mentioned before walking off with Mokuba.
Kevin looked before smiling, "Hey Kaiba!"
He turned to Kevin.
"Will it be okay... If we duel again sometime soon?" Kevin requested with a smile.
"Why not, if you think you'll be ready." Kaiba told him.
Kevin nodded with a determined grin running to his friends.
"You'll get him next time for sure." Atticus grinned.
Kevin nodded grinning bumping elbows with him.
Kevin: A little while later, I've earned a chance to face Kaiba again. After letting a lie to my mom, I was off to where me, and him would Duel.
Kevin with Zane, Atticus, and Alexis were running to a small arena.
"I've been keeping my eye on you, your performance in that last tournament was impressive." Kaiba mentioned calmly.
"Well now I'm ready for another shot, I've been practicing, and training harder then ever." Kevin grinned to him.
"Well, let's see if it paid off." Kaiba mentioned activating his Duel Disk.
Kevin also armed himself as they watch.
"LET'S DUEL!"

"I'll start by setting a monster in defense mode and playing two cards facedown. That's all for now." Kaiba told him.

Kevin drew, and looked as he smiled, 'Jaden...'
"Okay I'll summon Twin-Headed Behemoth!" Kevin called as the dragon from their first duel appeared.

"And now next up, I'll activate Double Summon!" Kevin added.

"As since Strong Wind was summoned by sacrificing a Dragon he gains points equal to half of the dragon I sacrificed!" Kevin called as Strong Wind glowed. (ATK: 2400 + 750 = 3150) "And now Strong Wind attack Kaiba's face-down! And as it's battling you take damage if he attacks a monster in defense!"
The monster was revealed to be a copy of Familiar Knight.

Alternative charged a blast destroying it as Kevin grunted at this.
"Due to Soul Exchange I can't attack so I have to end my turn, but with my three monsters this duel is as good as over." Kaiba told Kevin. "I'm disappointed, I expected more of a challenge from you Striker."
"Well don't ya worry, I haven't even begun to warm up." Kevin grinned to him.
"Then show me what's changed from last time." Kaiba challenged.

"Yes sir!" Kevin called drawing, "And to start, I'll use Pot of Greed!"

"Big mistake, I reveal my trap card Negate Attack!" Kaiba called. "This negates your dragon's attack."

Blue-Eyes appeared roaring only for Kevin to call, "Since you summoned a monster, I can do this!"
Kaiba raised an eyebrow at that.
"Potential of Red-Eyes!" Kevin called using a trap.

Kaiba's eyes widened. "I choose my Alternative White Dragon."
"And now all other monsters on your field are destroyed." Kevin said as Blue-Eyes, and Krystal Dragon shattered, "Then we both take 1000 points of damage."
They grunted.

"Not bad, but unfortunately it won't be enough." Kaiba told him. "I activate the spell card Shrink."

Alternative attacked striking down Red-Eyes as Kevin grunted. (Kevin: 1200) "Well thanks cause that allows me to do something else!"
"What?" Kaiba questioned before smirking. "You're full of surprises this time."
"Well here's what you won't expect! Hero Signal!" Kevin called as the trap let out a head signal of a H.

At that a blue armored man wearing a cape having a water gun appeared.

'Jaden... Thanks for Hero Signal, and Bubbleman.' Kevin smiled thinking about that looking at his Deck, 'I know that thanks to you, I can achieve my dream to be a Professional Duelist!' "Okay it's my turn! Ha!"
He drew at that looking.
Kaiba watched calmly.
"Okay, I activate Polymerization!" Kevin called using the signature Fusion Spell.

At that a huge flaming dragon appeared roaring.

"Okay now, Black Skull Dragon attack Alternative with Inferno Dark Storm!" Kevin called as Skull Dragon charged an attack firing it at Alternative.
Alexis: If that attack had hit it would have been the end, unfortunately fate had other plans.
"STOP!"
Startled Kevin stumbled as the blast stopped cried out, "Who would...?"
"You are in big trouble mister!"
Paling hearing that he slowly turned around looking sheepish as a woman with brown hair walking over looking royally pissed off.
"And you are?" Kaiba asked seeing her. "We're in the middle of something."
"Mr. Kaiba, I'm sorry if my son is giving you trouble." the woman said not listening only caring for her son, "But me, and him need to go now."
"But mom-"
"No buts mister." she snapped dragging him off, "We have a lot to talk regarding your punishment."
They watched in silence as Kevin was dragged out stunned to do anything.
Zane: It couldn't have happened at a worse time, Archfiend Black Skull Dragon's ability meant Kaiba didn't have any way to defend himself from the attack. Kevin was about to win.
Atticus: Afterward Kaiba asked us where they lived at, and the next day we went to Kevin's place though Kaiba wasn't expected Kevin's living arrangements which we couldn't blame him since Kevin was using an alias.
A limo which has the Kaiba siblings, and Kevin's friends stopped in front of a big house that is two stories tall.
"This is the place?" Kaiba asked turning to Zane, Alexis, and Atticus.
They all nodded to him. Kaiba nodded before walking over to ring the doorbell. After a few footsteps it opened to a young black haired woman wearing a maid outfit.
"This is the Striker residence?" Kaiba inquired.
"Striker? This is the Yuki Residence home of Mr. Junpei, and Miss Alice Yuki." the woman answered.
Kaiba frowned. "I was told this is where I can find Kevin Striker."
The maid blinked before widening her eyes, "Wait, Seto Kaiba?"
"That's right." Kaiba nodded. "Kevin Striker and I have unfinished business."
"Oh, the young master talks about you." the maid admitted before saying, "Oh please come on in."
"Thank you." Kaiba nodded walking in only to notice a little boy staring at him in awe. "And you would be?"
"Uh, J-Jaden Yuki sir." the boy said standing up in attention.
"Jaden Yuki, are you a duelist Jaden?" Kaiba asked him.
"I-I am but not as good as my big brother though." Jaden admitted.
Kaiba stared at him before closing his eyes. "I'm going to be hosting a contest in the near future I think you'd be interested in."
"R-Really?" Jaden asked hearing that.
"That's right, a card design contest." Kaiba answered. "The winner will have their cards created by Industrial Illusions."
"Ah sweet! I'll be sure to make great cards!" Jaden smiled excited before saying, "But... That's not why your here is it?"
"I'm here to settle things with Kevin Striker." Kaiba answered. "Do you know where I can find him?"
"My big brother's up stairs." Jaden answered, "I'll take you to him."
Kaiba nodded at that.
They walked upstairs where Jaden knocked on a door, "Kevin? Are you in there?"
"Yeah Jaden?" Kevin's voice asked soundly a bit sad.
"Someone wants to see you." Jaden answered.
They heard Kevin sighed before saying, "Is it Zane, Atticus, or Alexis? Tell them Mom doesn't-"
"It's Seto Kaiba big brother." Jaden interrupted. "The real Seto Kaiba is here."
"Huh? Kaiba?" Kevin asked before slowly opening the door showing his eyes are a little bloodshot before seeing Kaiba.
Seeing that Kaiba frowned. "What's wrong with you?"
"Kaiba, I..." Kevin said before looking down, "We need to talk. Can you come in here?"
Kaiba nodded walking into the room. Kaiba sees the room only has one thing, and that's a poster on Kevin's wall of him with Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon as Kevin took a seat at his bed. Kaiba crossed his arms. "I'm listening."
"Well... First is an apology." Kevin admitted looking down, "My last name is a lie. I'm from the Yuki Family Line not a Striker... That was just a name I made up so I can compete without my mom knowing."
"And?" Kaiba asked. "You used a fake name, that's hardly the worst thing people have done. It's happened at more than one of my tournaments."
"Well... I'm actually not allowed to Duel." Kevin revealed to him.
"So that's what happened." Kaiba noted thoughtfully.
"My mom is really religious, and wants me to be a Priest but... I want to be something, I want to be." Kevin said to him as tears dripped, "Is it wrong to follow my dreams, and not listening?"
"Of course not." Kaiba told him simply.
Kevin looked up at him with tears on his cheeks.
"Come with me." Kaiba told him.
Hearing that Kevin got off his bed, and followed him. Kaiba led him out his front door before turning to him and activating his Duel Disk. "Kevin Striker, I challenge you to a duel."
Kevin blinked hearing that as the door opened, "Kevin what are you-"
The woman paused seeing Kaiba.
"You must be Mrs. Yuki, your son and I were about to have a match." Kaiba told her calmly.
She looked before nodding before standing to watch as Kevin looked at his Deck before activating his Duel Disk. Kaiba suddenly paused. "Tell me something, do you care about your son?"
The woman blinked before she nodded.
"I can't say I understand someone hating Duel Monsters, but I'm not going to force you to play." Kaiba told her. "What I can do is tell you that your children clearly love the game, you can either support them from the sidelines with Kevin's friends and let them do what they love, or you can take it from them and force them to do what you think is best. Hopefully by the time this match ends you'll have made up your mind."
Hearing that the woman gave some thought.
"Well Kevin, you can go first." Kaiba told him.
bopdog111: A bit short but I don't want to give out Kevin's newest talents so early.
Ulrich362: Fair enough. So the final round will be next time?
bopdog111: Yeah, and then we can see Kevin x Camula coming on more starting with getting some attire, and then asking her out.
