Ganton, Los Santos

The city of Los Santos at first is best known for those from outside the city and with little knowledge for its Vinewood movies, celebrities and boutique shops that were to be found in affluent and rich places like Rodeo and its beautiful and long beaches for locals and tourists like the Santa Maria and Verona beach with the Del Perro Pier fun park and that the city was home to many ethnical and religious groups living in a multicultural mosaic city. At that the city looked like a paradise that must be the perfect American city.

That was if you were thinking like a fool and didn't know the city's more darker side that was that LS was the gang capital of the world with last year's numbers being estimated that over 100 000 gang resided in LS and almost a thousand gangs across the county itself, having more gang members in one densely populated county then in any other city in the United States of America.

In one of the places where the gang problem was the worst was the suburban unincorporated city of Ganton that was located South of the LS area.

Ganton itself was considered by many who live there and known the city as one of the most dangerous places in LS, if not in the US. With gang violence, drug dealing and shootings happening there on a daily basis. That did not scare of two Police officers who were walking down the street towards their patrol car. It were an white blonde round cop from Polish background and an bald taller African American cop, their names were Eddie Pulaski and Frank Tenpenny, LSPD officers of C.R.A.S.H.

C.R.A.S.H. which stood for Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums, was an LSPD unit that was intended to try and reduce gang crime across the city, but in it was an cesspool of corruption that this city has yet to discover. As the two cops were walking back to their car an police helicopter could be heard swirling over them with the search light on which did not disrupt the conversation the two had.

"I knew that fat fuck would see it our way." Tenpenny said as they just had finished some off-duty business with one of their newly convinced associates.

"Yeah, they always do, once they understand the choices we're offering." Pulaski added as he went to the driver's side of the patrol car "Say, Frank, what the hell are we gonna do about this Hernandez coming on board with us?" The guy Pulaski was talking about was this kid who signed up for C.R.A.S.H., wanting to join in fighting gang crime. He was not a rookie and had been on the beat for a few years already patrolling mostly East Los Santos.

"Exactly same thing like last time. He's either gonna play our way or he's gonna have a problem like that oversized asshole back there." Tenpenny said to his partner while opening the door before changing the subject "Look, I ain't worried about that, Pulaski, Pendelbury is more of a concern. If he does what he's threatening, then shit's about to get real interesting."

Officer Pendelbury was a fellow officer from the LSPD but was working in the Internal Affairs Division, which was bad news for the two cops who got a lot of secrets that they rather not want to be exposed. Unfortunately for them Pendelbury already found some dirt on the two and it was only a matter of time before he would bring this out.

"Yeah." Pulaski agreed as he got into the car as he turned the engine on and asked "Hey Frank, how about passing me a smoke?"

The patrol car took off and drove right up the road. Driving past an alleyway they didn't noticed where a few guys were seen hanging around. All three of them were young black men, all wore purple. These guys were Ballas, one of LS' main and biggest gangs.

"Hey, lemme hit some of that, homie." One of the Ballas asked, he was an light skinned goatee bearded guy who wore an purple short khaki pants with sneakers, white shirt with an gold leaf chain around his neck and backwards black hat. Standing next to him was a silent Balla who wore a beige baggy pants with a purple coat and fitting hat that was pointed forwards while the third gang member who was on the floor doing something was slightly overweight, wore a dark blueish purple chore coat, black jeans, a forwards dirty purple baseball cap, and white sneakers, he was busy rolling up what looks like a blunt.

The overweight baller took a stroke from his self-made blunt and then passed it around "For sure, homie."

The t-shirt wearing gang member took a hit and he was not satisfied with the taste "Man, what's this cess bullshit? Man, you ain't got nothing real to smoke?" He complained while passing the blunt to the silent homie.

"That ain't cess, homie. That's that hydro." The third member said taking offense.

The first gang member scoffed "Whatever."

"Complaining like a muthafucka…" The third member grumbled as he brought it up "Hey man, you sure about this thing?" He asked about the thing they got approached for, the thing being an hit on a rival not that far away from them actually. There was money on it if the job got done but the catch was that it was in the turf of one of their enemies' turf.

"Man I'm telling you dude, Grove Street has gone to shit. They're done." The leader of the group said without giving a fuck about the risks "They done."

"But we copping off one of their OG's. You sure this is cool or is it some kind of trap?" The overweight banger thought it out, trying to use his head on this. They were speaking about hitting up Grove Street Families, the main enemy of the Ballas.

the leader calmed his homies down "Be cool, man, and if anyone tries shit," he pulls out a Glock cocking it to show it off "We blast 'em." He spoke to the silent dude who said nothing while the third banger just nodded.

"Fo sho."

"Man, Grove Street aint even no real gang no more, homie. They perpetrators. Now they even know it. Shit changes," the leader said pulling out from his back pocket a small sack of Crack "and this shit changes everybody! Even OG's want a slice of this and loyal customers."

The other gang member took a spiff from the blunt he made and commented "That shit does change everything don't it"

"For sure. Let's bounce homie." All three Ballas started walking down the alleyway while the third one took one last stroke before dropping the blunt down to the ground and following his homies.

Grove Street

"The way I see it, man, I need to be in charge of my own destiny, homie." The one speaking was Lance Wilson AKA Ryder, he wore an green jacket with baggy blue pants with dark sneakers but he was most recognizable with his black hat with San Andreas written on it and his black sunglasses he always wore. He was an O.G of the Grove Street Families gang, an crazy dude who got into a lot of troubles, from a young age he already was putting in work for the hood and nobody in their right mind would doubt him, he was loyal and someone who was 'down for the hood' an real Families dude.

Right now he was doing two things at the same time, smoking one of his sherm dipped sticks and ironing his clothes. What? Gangster need clean clothes too.

"This way you will be, homie. This is all about Destiny." The one sitting in the chair was Big Smoke, an fellow Grove Street O.G who came to pay him a visit and talk to him "You know I got your back, right, homie?"

"Cool." Ryder nodded to him while putting the iron back on its place "How my shit look, fool?"

"Yeah, yeah, its cool." Big Smoke just ignored the ironing and got to the point of this conversation with Ryder as he stood up "Now, the way I see it is that we don't have a choice. Ain't nothing to feel bad about it. You put a gun to a brother's head, brother's gonna do what he's told. No matter if he's a fool or a wise man. You don't want a bullet in the brain, but if you can make it work and make some Benjamins while at it. Then that's cool." Smoke chuckled at it in the end.

"Its gonna take more than a bullet in the head to stop me." Ryder told his homie with his stick in his mouth. Most likely to be true if it comes to Ryder.

Smoke laughed at that and said "I don't doubt that, homie." Dabbing the homie as he seem to got him on board.

San Fierro

Up north from Los Santos, in the City of San Fierro a different way of business was being disclosed, with the half dead body of an hispanic being thrown against an shipping container by an guy named T-Bone Mendez who wore a striped shirt.

"You gonna tell me right now, homie." T-Bone held the guy by his throat and punched him right in the gut making the guy collapse to the ground before he picked him up again and throwing his beaten body against the container again "Tell me! You better tell me what I wat to know."

"Hey Mendez!" The muscle stopped his ruthless beating when an white man in an suite walked into the scene, his name was Mike Toreno "Come on, enough."

Mendez dropped the guy to the ground and began to rest for a bit "Punk ass. I think this vato's a fucking rat, ese. I can smell it on him."

"I think that's something else we can smell." Toreno said pointing at the nearly dead man barely clinging on life "He ain't going to talk now."

Done stretching his arms T-Bone asked to his partner in crime "So what do we do now, holmes?"

"I think I got us a buyer down in Los Santos." Toreno said, he just got word from his contact down below the city, some gang banger offering big money for a lot of blow. Just what they needed.

"Por cuanto, holmes?" Mendez wondered "How much?"

"Not sure, yet. But they're talking big. Up to a hundred k's a month, low risk."

TRING!

"Hang on, I need to take this." Toreno said to Mendez as he stepped away from him to answer the phone call.

"Hello. Yeah. Yes." Toreno answered multiple times on the phone as Mendez grabbed the presumed rat and began beating him up to no interest of Toreno to help him "Yes, you read it correctly….Well, I'm sorry it seems that way to you….Yeah. No….Yes."

Toreno quickly glanced back to see Mendez pretty much forcing the guy to his end before turning back to his phone.

"It's unconventional, yes." Toreno said before he was being defensive on the phone "Well when did your methods ever get results? When? Hey, I know people who are dead because of you. So don't mess with me on this one, okay? It's vital that it goes ahead. History will understand. I've done a lot of work, they trust me now….Yeah. No, you can't play with shit and not get dirty. Everybody knows that. Even YOU, okay?" Toreno started to end the call "Now look, I gotta go. I gotta go."

Mendez's final blow to the guy was with his knee to the chin, killing the bloodied guy out to life.

"Mendez!" Toreno gained the ese's attention as he'd just finished the beat down on the rat "Now listen. That was a buyer. We gotta step up production." He warned the ese "We're not thinking big enough here, okay? My connections in Panama can get us all the product we need, untouched! But you've got to arrange the market."

Mendez was now done with this rat and nodded "Yeah, you're right." He looked down at the body "I know some places that may be interested."

"Good," Toreno was glad "So why don't you stop dancing with your boyfriend here and get on it, all right? Huh?"

"Alright, man." Mendez said taking the leg of the rat "I'm gonna get this piece of shit outta here."

"I'll be in touch." Toreno says as he started to leave the area.

"Drop by at Jizzy's club, ese." Mendez said dragging the body that was heavy surprisingly "You weigh a lot for a fucking dead body, man."

Toreno walked to his black Washington sedan and watched how Toreno puts the body inside his blue Turismo before driving away. By then the suited man entered his black Washington and entered the car seat as an man was seen walking up to the car and walk right towards the driver's side.

*Tick* *Tick* *Tick*

The window rolled down and Toreno didn't even turn his head to speak "About time you showed up, your timing of arriving here needs improvement if you want to serve your country, agent."

"I'm sorry for being late, boss. I-"

"Shut up, and get inside the car," Toreno told the agent as he waited for him to enter the passenger seat and close the door as an conversation took place inside the dark colored Washington.

But what was seen is Toreno pulling out his phone and calling someone.

Meanwhile

Just outside Las Venturas, an young man was seen walking up with an suitcase bag towards an bus that was going to take a long ride.

"Time to go home." The blond young man said hopping on. after five years of being on the run, he now wants go back to the city of his birth.

City of Saints, Los Santos.

Next morning

Back on the streets of Ganton, another person was currently hoping for his luck in a different situation.

"Baby needs diapers!"

Two dices were thrown to the ground, one with two the other was six.

"Oh!" a couple of green wearing gang members yelled out seeing the results of their game of street craps, these guys were members of one of Ganton's oldest and well known street gangs, the Grove Street Families with their leader being Sean Johnson AKA Sweet, an Grove OG and friend of Big Smoke who was trying to talk to him "Hey, fool, we loosin the streets, man."

"Nah, we just standing by our principles, homie." Sweet just shrugged it at Smoke's idea. Unlike many street gangs or even other Families sets, Grove Street wasn't involved in the drug trade, especially not in Crack which was unheard of. That all was thanks to Sweet who was against it in any form. But that came at a price.

"But our principles are making us bitches, man." Smoke said to his best friend "Every day, Ballas get stronger, and you and I get weaker. You and I get poorer, man!"

"Man, that shit'll blow over," Sweet shrugged the fatman's words off "It always does."

"Oh whatever, man!" Smoke said slightly agitated as they kept observing the homies playing until someone stepped in the middle and interrupted the dice game "Man, who ever heard of a gangster rapper called Jeffrey, man?"

"Hey, Jeffrey get out the way man!" Sweet pushed him away with the other homies so they could continue their game. The shirtless tattooed-up guy with the scrawny body full with tattoos on it was Jeffrey Cross, an casual friend from the neighborhood who really hated that name and wanted to go as-

"O.G Loc! Now that's a gangster name, man." Jeffrey shouted for example "Like Sweet or Big Smoke!"

Big smoke began becoming stressed with his presence "Jeffrey, you ain't no gangster."

"Man, you ain't ever put in no work for the set. You a friend, but you ain't no gangster." Sweet patted him on the back, not taking Jeffrey seriously as he tried to focus on the craps game.

"Man, I'm for real, homie." Jeffrey insisted on not giving up "For real!"

"Okay, cool!" Sweet played along se could focus "Now kick rocks, you're messin' up my game." Sweet said as he turned back to the homies and play his dice.

"You know what?" Jeffrey shouted again to gain their attention "I'm gonna prove to y'all how real I am. Watch me!"

Sweet turned back around and advised him "Jeffrey, go to college, man. Make something of yourself. Me and the fat man, we messed our lives up. We fucked up in the game, man. We products of the environment. Don't be an idiot, man. Make us proud. Do shit different, baby." It was a fact that Jeffrey actually really was a smart kid who had the potential of going to college and make something of himself. Getting nods from Big Smoke who just wanted his annoying ass out of here saw that Jeffrey just stood there like an idiot and then say:

"But I'm a gangster rapper! It's my calling, homie!" Jeffrey complained as he only gained an dry laugh from Sweet.

"Look man, Do whatever you want, but get the fuck outta here." Big Smoke told him irritated while Sweet chuckled at him "No, man, go be a gangster someplace else, baby." They both turned back to their game.

"Forget y'all!" Jeffrey whined walking away, as soon as Jeffrey went away, Sweet and Big Smoke continued their conversation with Smoke insisting "This ain't a fucking playground craze, man, this is the biggest money-making opportunity that guys like us will ever see."

"I got all the shit I need, Man, I thought we was in this for the hood, not destroying the family, man." Sweet told his friend that he was not interested in this and turned back to the game "This Grove Street, nigga. Roll the dice!"

Big smoke released a sigh of disappointment seeing he couldn't convince his homie and changed the subject "Talking of holding families together, you heard from CJ lately?"

Sweet's mood turned bitter after hearing that name being brought up "We ain't speaking, He got his own life. More than he deserves."

"What- what- what, Brian been dead, what, five years now?" Smoke guessed, after all these years Sweet still hasn't talked to his last remaining brother?

Sweet sighs nodding to that number "Yeah, CJ have five years when he should have been dead," Sweet muttered sullenly "Man, I lost two brothers, man. One got killed and one showed himself, old perpetratin' ass bitch." Sweet spoke out as he threw his dices while leaving those words out coldly that it got Big Smoke to feel uncomfortable about it, talking about your own blood like that for what happened to his youngest brother.

"You real gangsta, man, but you gotta lighten up, See, CJ, he's-"

"CJ running 'round like a fool on the east coast!" Sweet interrupted furiously not wanting to spend any more time on his brother "He can rot in hell for all I give a fuck."

Liberty City

Walking down checking on cars in the busy streets of LC, Carl Johnson was trying to enter one daytime, it would be impossible to shatter the window and change the wires before the cops would arrive.

"Damn!" He muttered as he tried the second car and got the same result.

"Shit!" Carl took a look around and saw that a few cars were stopping in front of the red light stop and saw one of the cars he needed to find, a dark brown Washington sedan. Just what he was looking for.

He starts slowly to creep up to the driver without being spotted and when he saw that the driver wasn't noticing him, Carl took his chance.

"Get out the car! Out now!" Carl said as he punched the guy in the face and then threw him out of the car and against the parked car next to him where the driver bumped his head against before landing on the ground as he entered the car.

Carl puts the pedal to the metal and drove off after taking a left turn and left the scene before the victim of the carjacking could realize what had happened to him. By then the Johnson brother already pulled out his phone and began calling for his contact.

"Joey! Hey, wassup, man? It's CJ." Carl said through the phone and was making talk with his contact "Yeah. I hear you, I never knew my dad, but my brother used to make my life miserable." He said through the phone as he was driving forwards past the intersection as he was listening to Joey "Yeah, well, that's what family for," Carl answered as he got to the point "Anyway, I got that thing you wanted. Want me to shoot it by the garage?" He gained another response from Joey before telling him "No, no, I gotta get this thing off the street, man. It's way hot. All right, cool. Later."

CJ ended the call and puts the phone down and started driving down towards Joey's garage for the car to be brought in. This was just one of the gigs he would do to earn some quick money since he's been living in Liberty City for the past 5 years, after all that shit went down that he wasn't willing to face no more since he felt guilty for the death of his younger brother, Brian.

Still, that wasn't the only reason he left LS for the East Coast. It was also an promise he tried to keep on a close friend of his and Brian.

An promise he knew he couldn't break. Only he didn't know that he would be released by now.

Los Santos

In the middle of Market Street, Officer Pulaski was seen exiting the Jim Sticky Ring Donut shop with a box full of ones. Walking directly towards the squad car with Tenpenny making a call.

"Listen to me, son, I don't give a fuck about you, I don't give a fuck about your principles, I don't give a fuck about your friends." Tenpenny stated loud and clearly through the phone to the person he was talking to that was testing his patience "People who step in my way get fucked. Now, you got paid. You took the money. I'm trying to set you up for life here, boy, and you're inadequate." Pulaski opened his door as Tenpenny started threatening him.

"You're no use to me at all, boy. Maybe I should kill you instead." He turned to his partner "Eddie, organize a hit squad."

"Not a problem." The white cop said without a care as he took a bit from his donut.

Tenpenny turned back to the phone "You hear that? You feelin' me here? You about to wake up with your head 50 feet away from your body, son." Tenpenny made a clear threat to the other guy on the phone "Do what we agreed."

Then the receiver sounded like he tried to warn Tenpenny who just responded "Oh, you think you can put one over on me? Do you? I don't think so. So do it! This week!"

Tenpenny finished before hanging up on the phone leaving Pulaski to ask "All good, pal?"

"Pal?" Tenpenny turned to his partner to correct him "I'm your superior officer and don't you forget that shit! But yeah, all good."

"So is he gonna do it?"

"Didn't I say it was all good?" Tenpenny snarled as he opened his door of the squad car to leave Pulaski to suggest.

"So we gonna go get the kid?"

"Yeah," Tenpenny answered entering the car "Let's initiate the little bastard into the force." With Pulaski taking the wheel, the squad police car drove off.

The moment the cops left the scene, an bus stopped just across the street where the squad car previously was and the only person stepping out was the young man who took the bus in Las Venturas. Now in a different wardrobe, wearing black jeans, an white shirt underneath an black hoodie and boots. He also wore an black bandana around his forehead but it wouldn't be noticed by the hoodie he wore over his head. Still carrying his suitcase around he looked around him and couldn't bear to say.

"Home sweet home." He walked down the street towards the location where his friend was. To be exact it was his best friend who he hadn't seen for almost five years, he did not even say proper goodbye to him when he fled the city in a hurry.

"Sorry, man, I really am."

On Pershing Square the squad car of Tenpenny and Pulaski was parked right in front of the LSPD Police Station where they were waiting for the new kid. They then saw an young hispanic man wearing an police uniform coming out of the Precinct and walking right towards their car.

"So you're the new kid, huh?" Pulaski asked the young man who nodded to his question.

"Yeah, been working on the streets three years though," the kid explained to Pulaski "and I realized there is only one kind of crime in Los Santos – gang crime. That's why I joined C.R.A.S.H."

Pulaski pointed to the back "Get in the car, kid."

The hispanic did so as he hopped in the back seat "The name's Jimmy Hernandez by the way."

"Eddie Pulaski."

"Name's Frank Tenpenny." The dark cop said before turning around and said sternly "but you will call me sir, got that?"

Jimmy nodded to knowing Tenpenny's reputation inside police department "Sure."

The squad car drove off as it went towards the South Central area where they would ditch the kid to his first beat on the street as an C.R.A.S.H cop. While on the way Hernandez was talking about one of his first calls on the job.

"I was called in on this domestic dispute case once. You got this young kid, okay?" He told them the story "Can't be more than twenty years old, beating up his wife. So I figure, easy, right? No man hits a woman. Well, it turns out this woman spends all day freebasing and nearly let their kid starve to death. All right, so what do I do? I could take this guy in, and leave a little kid with a drug-addict mother, or I let a guy off with beating up his wife, I mean, it's difficult out there."

Tenpenny suddenly asked by that "Domestic violence?" the car was making it through Glen Park where the kid would do his beat.

"Yeah, yeah." Hernandez confirmed it "Serious stuff, man."

"Yeah, I'm sure." He was dealing with an actual newbie kid who got himself in a different world "Pulaski, pull over."

Pulaski nodded and pulled over the car just on the corner of Glen Park and then the black experienced cop turned to the kid.

"Well, I deal with drug dealers, gang bangers, and psychotics, all of them chasing after a lot of money, none of them scared to kill me, you, or all our families, if they think it will help them." Tenpenny stated clearly to the hispanic cop who was silent to that response "Now this is a bit more serious than a domestic dispute, pal."

"Look," Hernandez realized he made a mistake and tried to do some damage control "I didn't mean anything by it, I was just-"

Tenpenny turned around swiftly "I'm not really interested in what you meant to say," he interrupted the young cop "See what you said was you found a woman on drugs a difficult situation. Now how the hell am I supposed to trust you if you're so easily confused?"

"Look," Hernandez replied back at him "I'm a good cop."

"This ain't about being a good, cop, Pepe."

"It's about taking control of the streets from the fucking savages who've got it now!" Pulaski stated loud and clear.

"I know!" Hernandez stressed out.

Tenpenny asked "Then you'll do what it takes?"

"Yeah," Hernandez answered "Whatever it takes!"

"Cause this is a game of percentages, 24/7, 365, we're just trying to screw as many bad guys as we can." Tenpenny informed Hernandez what C.R.A.S.H precisely does in comparison to other units. Making Jimmy understand they were working very differently than the others on curbing the criminals.

"Yeah, I know."

"That means letting some bad guys get away with things." Tenpenny told him.

"And sometimes, it means doing shit you ain't proud of," Pulaski added it in "Because you're strong enough and smart enough to understand the bigger picture."

Jimmy understood it "Look, I know."

"You don't know shit!" Tenpenny told him. "Get the fuck out of the car, ese."

The hispanic young officer did that and exited the squad car with an bad impression and an lesson on what kind of cops he were dealing with. Maybe he should've taken the advice some of the other cops told him and avoided joining C.R.A.S.H, especially these two cops who had an shadowing reputation inside the unit for their 'supposed tactics'

Still, he wanted to curb gang crime and try and be a good cop. Unlike most officers like Pulaski and Tenpenny who came from other parts of town, he grew up in LS, just down below and had an harsh upbringing while living in an orphanage with some of the other kids who he grew close to before he got adopted by an family from East Los Santos.

Naïve as it sounded, he wanted to end the violence and was really having enough of the many b processions he had witnessed of young people. Seeing that most of these guys grew up just like him in a fucked up environment, he did not gave up on life and wanted to serve his community and try and save it instead of abandoning it.

"I'm not giving up on this." Jimmy swore to himself "I'm not."

Vinewood Cemetery

Walking through the cemetery was the young man in the plaid shirt who now instead of carrying an bottle of alcohol and what looked like an two glasses.

He stopped right in front of an grave stone that unlike its neighbors was only a few years old but was the someone the young man came to visit.

Brian Johnson

October 10th 1968 – August 31 1987

Beloved son

Loved brother

Never will be forgotten

The person sad down and puts the two cups right on the grave stone and began to pour the drink into them. He pulled his hoodie off, showing his face that also had a resembling fox whiskers that he had as a kid, his cereal blue eyes and spikey blond hair.

This was Naruto Uzumaki who was pouring the cups in with sake "Got some Sake here, man. Thought you might've wanna have some."

He placed one of the cups on Brian's grave stone as a gesture to him. Naruto then drank his cup empty at once as he began speaking "I'm sorry I didn't came to visit you more. I was in a situation that I got myself into. You know, like the one when you and got when we were flirting with those Idlewood girls at the bar before their boyfriends came and began a rumble?" He laughed at that memory of that as he kept pouring himself another drink.

Just then a brown Picador had parked just outside the cemetery and the person driving it got out of the car and was walking up to the cemetery and saw somebody there. Recognizing the site he then looked who it was.

"I'm I too high or is it who I think it is?"

He started walking towards the guy sitting nearby his homies grave and saw who it was. Naruto meanwhile kept talking to the grave not knowing someone was approaching him from behind.

"Sorry for fucking it up, should've covered your back when that shit went down." Naruto said holding himself tight "Sweet was right, should've never gone in that business….makes too many enemies…We sure killed those guys who ambushed you, but that did nothing to bring you back…I'm sorry man, I fucked up."

"You ain't fucked it up, homie."

Naruto heard that voice coming from behind and saw it was someone he recognized but did not expect to meet him up yet.

"Ryder."

CRUNCH!

That was the sound of an man's chin being broken after getting kicked by Pulaski who was beating up the victim brutally and shout at the bloodied man "Who you gonna tell now?"

"Eddie, chill out, man." Tenpenny stepped in seeing it was enough beating on the victim that was Officer Pendelbury, an LSPD Internal Affairs officer who was now lying on the ground half unconscious and barely breathing.

Pulaski was tired after beating this guy up and noted "The prick's still breathing."

"That's good….Hernandez," Tenpenny said before calling up the kid whilst grabbing Pendelbury's weapon "Finish him off."

"Come on, please. Don't make me do this!" Hernandez pleaded to the two cops.

"Say what?"

"I can't."

"Hey, I thought you understood."

"He's a fucking cop, you maniac!" Hernandez said pointing at the beat up cop. They just kicked the shit out of this guy and now they expect him to shoot him?"

Pulaski found it somehow funny and looked at Pendelbury "Not no more he ain't."

Tenpenny explained it to him again "We went over this. It's about percentages."

"I know!"

"So who's side you on," Tenpenny pointed between himself and Pendelbury who was trying to crawl away "his or mine?"

"Yours, Frank!" Hernandez basically shouted "Yours!"

"Then be a fucking man." Tenpenny shoved the gun into Hernandez's hand and ordered him "You cap him, or I cap you." Clearly threatening him this time.

Jimmy Hernandez now found himself in a really bad situation. He turned to the half-dead cop and slowly raised the gun at him pointing it at the man's back with hesitation written on his face. How could he not be nervous, he's forced to kill a cop!

"Come on, do it!" Pulaski said to him "Pull the trigger!"

Hernandez couldn't feel anymore disgusting to what he was forced to do as he pulled that trigger right there.

BANG!

Inside of Sweet's house

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE BACK, AAAH!" Kendl, the only Johnson sibling had locked Naruto in a tight hug, she was happy to see him after a long time. When Ryder drove up saying to everyone in the neighborhood about who just came back they thought he was trippin again with his sherm but instead everyone was surprised to see their favorite goofball. There was a little welcome home party for him as there were only a few people like Ryder, Sweet, Kendl and a few homies from the block who happened to know Naruto where there was some beer and chips going around.

Naruto chuckled to see Kendl again "Nice to see you too, Kendl."

"You don't know how happy I am to see you." She couldn't be any more happier to see him, Naruto was like family ever since he grew up with her Carl and Brian at the same school and always was around the neighborhood and throughout the weekends at when he could get out of the orphanage, he would come and visit them "So tell me, what have you been doing these five years?"

"I've been travelling the country for a bit," Naruto said looking around to see some of the GSF members coming to him and greeting him with the dabs before he could continue to speak "I went even down to Vice City if you believe me."

"Vice City? Ah, that's somewhere I'd like to visit one day." Kendl said smiling at going down to that Florida city "You've only been there or some other places?"

"Kendl."

The two turned their heads to see Sweet approach them as he wanted to talk "Can you leave us alone for a bit, me and him gotta talk to each other."

Kendl sighs and complied "Alright, just don't be hard on him, Sean. I'll go clean the dishes." Kendl turned to Naruto "Just don't drink too much, Naruto."

"No, Kendl, I won't." Naruto answered before being tagged on the shirt by Sweet.

"Let's go."

Once outside in the basketball court of Sweet's house, Sweet handed him a bottle of beer "Here you go."

"Thanks," Naruto accepted it reluctantly before taking a sip from it while Sweet drank a big shot of it.

He then whipped his mouth clean and saw that Naruto wasn't drinking much "What's the matter with you, don't drink much?"

"I've been sober." Naruto answered to the O.G "Have been for almost 5 years…"

"….So ever since Brian died, huh." Sweet took his word as he figured it out already.

There was an silence present that the blond had expected from the elder Johnson brother who was hesitant at first to let Naruto go around his younger siblings for a long time.

"Look Sweet, if you want me gone then tell me." Naruto said wanting this to be over. Instead of an straight answer he saw Sweet walk up to the wall where a few loose bricks were and pulled one out before he reached into the hole to pull out something.

"Remember that time Brain found out the meaning of that name of yours, Naruto, and found out it also stood for Fish Cake and we used to joke around it?" He usually got teased for his name back in high school.

"Yeah,"

"Then you remember that knife he bought for you for your birthday when we was 16 down in Verona Beach." He pulled out a cloth and walked over to him to hand it over "You used it to stick up them fools across the city."

Naruto took the cloth and opened it, surprised to see it was that old knife that had the Japanese letters written on both sides of the blade.

黒渦 Stood for Maelstrom, which was Naruto's real name meaning.

Naruto chuckled at remembering that present, was the very first thing he got as something of his own.

Sweet patted on his back "I know you and Brian were tight homies. And you proved yourself. Don't forget, you both were jumped in on the same day." Sweet reminded.

Flashback

1987

Just the day after graduation, another gang jumping occurred on Grove Street. After leaving the orphanage because he was too old, a new life for him awaited on these Ganton streets…

WHACK!

Naruto fell with his face on the ground with his nose bleeding and he was getting kicked and punched from four sides without any hesitation as he tried to get up and fight his way through it against one of the fatter guys who had been punching him for the longest time.

Then one of the lanky guys just then sucker punched him in the face before he dropped down on his knees again.

"Alright, that's enough. Enough, homies!" the bangers stopped punching on Naruto as he was trying to stand up while keeping the blood from his nose from dripping onto his white shirt. He also was bleeding from the forehead but he didn't seem to notice it as the blood slightly soaked his hair.

He then saw a black hand reach out to him as he looked up to who it belonged, it was from his best friend from high school who was just jumped in himself. He was a slightly lighter but skinny looking version of Carl but had always that smirk on his face.

"Need a hand, partna?"

Naruto's face turned into a smirk while the blood kept flowing "Yeah, thanks Brian."

He accepted it and pulled himself up before getting a tap on the shoulder by the young Johnson brother "You now one of us, homie. You in." he pulls out an green bandana rag from out of his back pocket and binds it around the forehead of Naruto to try cover up the bleeding "You a Grove now, Families 4 Life, homie."

Naruto smiled at him and said "Yeah."

He then got a slap on the back from the big guy who was his age "Yeah homie, now you roll with us. We'll show them Ballsacks we got ourselves a ninja up here!"

"Thanks Bear, I really appreciate it." Naruto smiled at his friend Barry Thorne AKA Big Bear. He was an alright guy and was a chubby guy but got love for everyone in the neighborhood. The lanky dude next to him was Big Bear's friend, Mark Wayne AKA B Dup who he knew as an hustler who grew up in the neighborhood and was always into something.

"Ey, Ruto!" A young Ryder approached the newly canonized gang member and began some hand signs "When you gonna show me some of them moves you muthafuckas can do, you know me, I'm like a Ninja!"

"Shut up, Ryder." Big Smoke said as he approached Naruto and patted him on the shoulder "I told you, Sweet. Young brotha got what it takes to be down for the hood."

"I guess so," Sweet walked up to the young Naruto and dabbed him "Welcome to Grove Street Families, homie."

Naruto nodded "I won't let you down, I swear."

Carl laughed by jumping in and saying "With you and Brian? Them Ballas ain't got no chance when these fools roll through."

Brian agreed "Yeah, me and Ruto ain't scared of no Balla bitches. We put them fools down like how we did Kane from Front Yard."

Naruto offered his hand "Yeah man, screw them."

"Ey, let's go celebrate the baptism of our three brothers." They all began to walk up to the street and went on.

End Flashback

Naruto and Sweet now stood up to the streets just at Jeffrey's house and were going back to that memory.

"You prove yourself back then, Ruto."

"But I left after Brian's funeral." Naruto shook his head.

"For a good reason," Sweet reminded him "Don't forget what you did that made you leave. A better reason then some buster I know off…" Sweet said emptying the bottle.

Naruto questioned "Anybody still talking about it?"

"C.R.A.S.H stopped searching for the shooter after two years, only found the shell cases and nothing else." Sweet explained "Besides, we need dudes like you. After all, we lost some soldiers after you fled. Big Devil, Little Devil, the homie Tony and some others." It was pretty much himself, Smoke, Ryder and a few riders who now mostly drink and hangout as Grove Street really was in a bad position. He couldn't deny what Smoke said was true, thanks to that crack money Ballas were moving in as a force. Forcing the Families apart to break their principles and set tripping started between the sets.

"What about Big Bear and B Dup?"

"You don't wanna know."

"And what about CJ?"

Sweet's face hardened when he heard that name, he was going to comment about that buster until he noticed a Green Sabre pulling up on Grove Street and driving up slowly up to the Johnson House.

Naruto questioned "Your mom expecting a visit or something?"

"No, I ain't seen a car like that before."

The Green Sabre pulled up right up to the Johnson House, but it wasn't stopping. Instead an man in a jean jacket with a purple rag was seen pointing an Uzi at the house.

"SHIT!"

RATATATATATATATA

The house started getting sprayed with the wood splintering across the place and the windows shattering in dozens of pieces as the bullets just ripped apart the whole front of the house. There was no way possible that someone inside on the ground level would not be hit by those bullets. And that got Sweet to shout in fear;

"MOMMA NO!"

The car then began to make a u turn on the road and began driving away, but not without someone to shoot back.

BANG!

One of their windows shattered as it tried to drive away, the driver ducked and saw that on their right was Naruto with an Glock 17 shooting at them, he fired seven shots and only hitting the passenger side of the car multiple times in the door and window as it drove off.

Naruto ran after it and emptied the clip at the fleeing Sabre, firing the remaining ten rounds in the clip, hitting the car seven more times with one bullet hitting the back window and hitting the passenger in the head that dropped to the right side of the car. Possible hitting him.

"NOOO!"

Naruto turned to the front and saw Sweet running towards his mother's house and entered it.

"Oh shit! Hell! Oh momma!"

Naruto ran over towards the house of Mrs. Beverly while the whole neighborhood started getting outside and see what was going on.

Jumping over the porch steps he entered the house to see what happened, Mrs. Johnson was shot and was motionless in his son's arms who was just begging her to stay awake.

"Let me go! I need to check on my mom's!"

Naruto walked out outside just as Kendl ran up on the street.

"MOM NO!" Naruto grabbed her before she could go inside to stop her as she tried to go past her "Let me go! LET ME GO!" She just cried before she went numb as she saw Sweet kneeled down to her dead mother laying on the floor.

Ryder and the homies were seen coming up and by the looks of Naruto, their worst assumption came true with Ryder walking up and taking it over from the blond to comfort the Johnson sister.

The scene of the shooting was left with Kendl seen holding her head swinging back and forth on the porch while Naruto was comforting her while the homies kept their distance and Ryder was the only one close. As the sirens could be heard, Sweet was seen holding the phone calling someone.

"CJ, it's your brother."

"Okay, what you want?"

"I think you better come home," Sweet told CJ sadly. "It's about Momma. She's dead bro."

Back in Liberty City, those words made Carl Johnson drop his head in sadness after hearing that. It was at this moment he would go back home;

Los Santos

Hope everyone like it, will be working on other stories now too.
