Reviews:

TM11 : Yes, magic doesn't affect tech in this fic.

NoirReality : Thanks, scary is what I was going for.

reader0007 : Actually I think it is possible for him to make Ultron, Tony doesn't necessarily have to have PTSD for that, he could just think it's a great idea. As for Ironman 3, yeah but I'm skipping over that.

jiubantai-taichoCalmejaneJose : Honestly if I had to add someone then it would definitely have to be Sif.

Flaming Drongo : Save it to your doc manager on the website, then click on it and you should be able to find the option on the top bar.

Chapter 29 -

"I'll have that drink now." Loki said.

"I have a better idea." Harry said as he pushed past the other Avengers and aimed his wand at Loki. "Crucio." Harry said in a soft voice and Loki suddenly screamed in pain. The other Avengers all jumped back in surprise as Loki began screaming and thrashing around in pain.

"Stop!" Thor said as he pushed Harry's arm so he was no longer aiming his wand at Loki. "What are you doing?!" He demanded.

"What does it look like?" Harry asked, rolling his eyes. "If it upsets you so much then I'll just end it quickly." Harry took a step towards Loki only to be stopped by Thor placing a hand on his chest.

"What do you mean 'end it?'" Thor said as he stepped in-between Loki and Harry.

"I'm going to kill him." Harry stated in a matter of fact voice.

"Harry," Steve said in a soft voice. "he's down."

"Exactly, might as well do it now," Harry replied. "while he's not a threat."

"You can't kill him." Thor said in a firm voice.

"Actually I can, I'm very capable of doing so." Harry said as he flicked his wand and hit Loki with a high powered body bind when he tried to stand up, causing him to fall back down on the floor, stiff as a plank.

"You will not kill him." Thor said.

"Come with me." Harry said as he grabbed Thor's wrist and pulled him along until the two were standing at the edge of the broken window. "Look at that." Harry gestured to the destroyed and damaged buildings, the multiple fires and the dead Chitauri and Leviathan bodies. "Loki did that, and for what? Power? Revenge? It doesn't matter, is all the destruction worth the desires of one man?"

"No," Thor said in a sad voice as he shook his head. "but..."

"But nothing," Harry cut him off. "he brainwashed Barton," Harry said as he pointed to Clint. "made him kill men and women, heck Loki killed many just for his own amusement. How many people has he killed since coming here? And wasn't he the one who sent the Destroyer to try and kill you? It's clear to me that you value him far more than he does you. He should be killed now before he can try again. This time we nearly lost an entire city along with the world and our lives, next time it might not be 'nearly losing'."

"Please," Thor said in a soft voice. "let me take Loki back to Asgard, let him face Asgardian justice."

"I'd rather do it my way." Harry replied with a small shrug.

"Wait," Steve said as he walked up to them and stood in-between the two. "Harry, don't get me wrong, I'd like to make him suffer too. But we can't kill him in cold blood."

"Why the hell not?!" Harry demanded. "Look at what he has done, his nearly killed everyone on this team, we should take him out now. If we need him to suffer then I will make the fucker suffer, but let's finish him now."

"I get it," Steve sighed. "but he needs to pay for his crimes. Let Thor take him to Asgard, let him face justice." Harry growled under his breath, he looked at the others before glancing at Loki then back at Cap

"Fine." Harry said through gritted teeth. "Take him, lock him up, and then do whatever the fuck you want with him. But if he so much as takes one more life, if he even hurts one more person then I will kill him, and I won't make it painless either." Harry said, all the Avengers looked at him, they could tell that he was being very serious and would clearly follow through on his threat.

"Thank you." Thor said in a quiet voice. "I give you my word, he will not harm any one else."

"Well I suddenly feel better." Harry snorted before looking back at the city. "You all keep an eye on him, I'm going back out there."

"What for?" Tony asked. In response Harry waved his hand and all the damage done to the room was repaired, the floor along with the ceilings and walls fixed themselves just as the glass window repaired itself, as if it was never broken in the first place.

"There's a ton of dead aliens that I need to get rid of before some idiots decide to take and make into weapons or Merlin knows what. Plus there's plenty of damage," Harry sighed. "Padfoot stay with Nat." Harry said before he teleported out.

Padfoot barked before his body shifted out of his battle mode, making him return to looking like a regular dog. Padfoot shook his head and whole body before walking to Natasha's side and rubbing his head against her leg until she started scratching him.

"I want that dog." Tony said, cutting through the silence.

"No." Natasha said as Padfoot barked in agreement.

"Damn." A tired Harry sighed as he dropped into bed, he was currently staying in an empty room in the Shield hellicarrier until Fury helped him get a place of his own.

"You look tired." Fury's voice noted, Harry opened his eyes and looked at Fury who had just entered the room.

"You're the master of understatement, as usual Fury." Harry said as his suit disappeared, leaving him in civilian clothes. "After the battle I spent the rest of the day going around the city, getting rid of alien tech and repairing as much damage as I can." Harry sighed. "Luckily I had some pepper up potions to help give me energy," Harry added. "anything I can help you with Fury?"

"Just stay there and rest." Fury said as he pulled up a chair and sat down next to the bed. "You all did good work today." Fury commented.

"Thanks." Harry said as he closed his eyes.

"Everyone else is a little banged up but nothing too serious. I heard what happened after the battle," Fury said in a soft voice. "about you wanting to kill Loki."

"Like you would have a problem with that." Harry snorted.

"Truthfully I don't care either way, as long as he's not a threat anymore." Fury responded. "I just wanted to say that after everything Loki has done, everyone understands why you wanted to kill him."

"Thanks I suppose," Harry replied. "was there anything else?" Harry asked, eyes still closed.

"Yes actually." Fury nodded. "Tomorrow evening Stark is holding a party."

"A party?" Harry opened his eyes, he yawned into his hand before looking at Fury.

"Yes," Fury replied. "I'd like you to attend."

"What am I supposed to do there?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You're supposed to have a good time." Fury shrugged.

"Wait...what the hell are you on about?"

"The party is limited to you and the other members who fought with you." Fury explained. "Stark said you can invite your dog, in fact he rather hopes that you do."

"Why on Earth do you...never mind, I am not going." Harry replied.

"And why not?"

"I just fought in a battle, I'm tired."

"You recover faster than humanely possible, even better than other members of the team who will be there, we both know you'll be physically fine by morning. Pick a better excuse."

"Fine, how about I don't want to go?" Harry replied. "Why on Earth should I go?"

"These people fought in a battle for the Earth with you."

"I fought in a battle for the Earth and killed the most aliens, shouldn't that at least give me the right to refuse to go to a party?" Harry countered. "Besides Fury, remember that you're not my boss, you don't want to help me find a place to live then fine, you want me out of here within the next minute then fine, but don't start demanding that I do things."

"Harry," Fury raised his hands in front of him. "calm down. I cannot, nor will I, force you to things that you don't want to do. With that being said, I am asking you to please go there."

"What the fuck for Fury?" Harry rolled his eyes. "You hoping that we all become best buddies and go along with your little superhero team dream?"

"No, though I would like it if that happened, I think you should go because I think you need it more than you realize. You don't relate to other people, you've experienced things that most can't imagine or believe, the people who will attend that party have all suffered and gone through their own experiences. If you ever want to try finding people you can relate to, then that party's your best bet."

"And what if I said I don't want to find people I can relate to?" Harry asked.

"Then I'd say bullshit," Fury said as he stood up. "you trusted me enough to fight in that battle with your team members, trust me enough to at least give it a shot. All I ask is you go there and try to enjoy yourself, you might even be surprised." Fury said before he walked off. "And I'm sure that Agent Romanoff would be disappointed if you don't show up." Fury said in a light tone as he stopped in the doorway and smirked at Harry.

"Hey Fury," Harry said when Fury was about to walk out, Fury paused and looked at him. "fuck off you bald, eye patch wearing cunt." Harry said as he gave him the finger.

"You kiss your mother with that mouth?" Fury tutted before walking out.

In Stark tower the Avengers were all together, all of them were wearing regular clothes instead of their armour and outfits. They were all sat down apart from Tony who was stood up and pacing near the bar.

"Is Grim going to come or what?" Tony asked, more than a bit annoyed that one of the more interesting members wasn't here.

"I don't know." Natasha shrugged. "Harry's not really a...'party' sort of guy. He's more of the 'I'd rather spend a night watching TV then going to sleep' kind of guy."

"That sounds horribly boring for a wizard." Tony frowned as he picked up a glass cup and filled it with alcohol. "Well I guess he will just have to miss out on all the fun and alcohol." Tony shrugged, he was about to raise the glass when he heard a bark. Padfoot had somehow gotten into the room, Padfoot quickly made his way to Natasha and sat down by her feet.

"Hi boy." Natasha smiled at him.

"So if the wonder dog is here then we should assume that his owner isn't far behind." Tony commented. Any further words were cut off by the sound of wings, everyone looked up to see a big bird flying above them, not just any bird, a falcon. The bird circled around the room before descending, as it neared the ground it transformed back into Harry who had landed in front of an awestruck Tony Stark. Harry casually took the drink from his hand and took a sip.

"Hmm, not bad." Harry commented as he walked over to the others and sat down between Natasha and Clint. "So...am I late?" Harry asked as he drank a bit more from the glass.

"Yep." Natasha nodded. "Definitely late."

"Fashionably?" Harry asked in a mock worried voice.

"Just about." Natasha replied.

"Wonderful." Harry replied, breathing out a sigh of relief.

"We was starting to think that you weren't going to show." Steve commented as Stark finally sat down with the group.

"Yeah," Clint nodded. "you're not really a part guy."

"Fury badgered me into coming." Harry shrugged.

"So...you can turn into animals?" Stark asked in an excited voice. "Can you turn into any animal?" He asked.

"Kind of." Harry replied.

"What do you mean?"

"The only animal I can safely transform myself into is the form you had just seen me take, if I wanted to I could take my wand and aim it at myself before trying to force myself to take another animal form but I wouldn't do that as it's dangerous and could easily go wrong in a multitude of different ways."

"Could you safely turn me or anyone else into an animal?" Stark asked.

"Yeah." Harry nodded. "But it's easier to do it with inanimate objects."

"Why is that?"

"Because they have no will of their own, if I tried it on a human then they would not want to turn into an animal, even if they think they did then their subconscious mind will not want to as it's dangerous to have your whole body changed."

"Your wand, how does it work?" Tony asked in a curious voice.

"It simply is a focus that helps me use my magic."

"So it's help channel your magic, can anyone use it?" Tony asked in a hopeful voice.

"No."

"Why?"

"What are you? A news reporter? What the hell is up with all these questions?"

"It's not everyday you meet an actual wizard." Tony said defensively. "Oh is Merlin real?"

"Tony, stop bothering him." A red headed woman said, Harry recognized her as Pepper Potts, Tony Stark's girlfriend.

"Oh this is Pepper," Tony said to Harry as he introduced Pepper. "she's my girlfriend."

"And babysitter." Pepper added with a small smirk.

"I know who she is," Harry replied before noticing the only other non-Avenger in the room. "and you would be Colonel James Rhodes."

"That's correct." Rhodey nodded. "How did you know?" He asked.

"I had to do my research on Stark a few years ago during the whole rescue him from the dessert and Obadiah Stane shit, you and Miss Potts were the closest people to him." Harry shrugged.

"Makes sense," Tony hummed. "by the way, your magic, how does that work? Is it a form of energy you are born with? Can anyone get it?"

"Tony." Pepper said in a warning tone.

"Fine, fine," Tony rolled his eyes. "I promise I will stop bothering him, but before I do can I ask that he just shows us one bit of magic?"

"I am not a performing dog." Harry said in an irritated voice.

"Woof." Padfoot barked.

"No, you're not either." Harry replied.

"You can understand him?" Pepper blinked.

"Either that or I'm crazy, probably a bit of both." Harry shrugged.

"So about that magic?" Tony persisted.

"Fine." Harry sighed, his wand appeared in his hand. "Expecto patronum." Harry said under his breath, his wand tip glowed brightly before he waved his wand and a his patronus shot out in the form of a wispy, large, blue-white, transparent dog that looked exactly like Padfoot, the patronus dog ran around the air before stopping in front of Harry. Harry petted it for a moment before he let it disappear.

"Wow." Thor breathed out, everyone else clearly shared a similar opinion as they also had amazed looks on their faces. "That is impressive magic." He complimented.

"What was that?" Steve asked.

"It's a spell designed to fight off dementors." Harry answered.

"Fight off what?"

"Basically soul and emotion sucking demons." Harry shrugged.

"There are soul and emotion sucking demons?!" Pepper gasped.

"I don't know what would give you that idea." Harry said in a dry voice. "Perhaps the fact that I just said it." He said, pretending to guess.

"Don't be grouchy." Natasha said, earning an eyeroll from Harry.

"Sir." Jarvis's voice echoed throughout the room.

"What is that?" Thor asked as he jumped to his feet. "A ghost?"

"No, that's just Jarvis, something I created." Tony explained as he got up and gently pushed Thor back into his seat. "What is it Jarvis?"

"Sir, an agent from Shield has arrived." Jarvis said, everyone looked at Barton, Natasha and Harry, all three shrugged as if to say 'don't ask us, we don't know'.

"Well we're busy, so send them to Shield or tell them to come back another time." Tony replied.

"Sir, I'm afraid my protocols are being overwritten." Jarvis said in an apologetic voice just before the elevator doors opened.

"Damn it Pepper." Tony said as he gave her a look that made it clear he was blaming her for this.

A woman exited out of the elevator, wearing civilian clothes like everyone else. Harry stood up upon seeing her. The woman had an athletic looking body, blue eyes, a pretty face and blonde hair with face framing bangs, her hair descended down to her shoulders.

"Wait a sec," Harry said, "I know you, I've seen you before."

"I'm glad you haven't completely forgotten me." She smiled. "I suppose I should thank you for saving my life yesterday."

"What do you mean?" Natasha asked.

"He saved my life during the whole alien invasion, I was thrown out of a building and he caught me. Oh sorry, I should probably introduce myself, I am the liaison between Shield and the Avengers. My name is Gwen, Gwen Stacy."

A.N: Hi guys, so what do you think about the surprise? Is it a good one? Honestly I was choosing between Gwen and Mockingbird, I chose Gwen because I am more familiar with the character. Plus I think it's fine since Gwen doesn't really exist in the marvel cinematic universe, and yes I know that Spiderman does but I will work around/with that. Tell me what you guys think, I hope you like the idea.

Plus before someone says that Loki has been mind controlled, I just want to point out that there was no way for anyone to know. In canon Clint and Selvig got freed from the control after a bash to the head, Loki had taken many hits but was still all 'kill everyone', which probably means he was either not hit hard enough or his mind control was worse. Plus in this fic Harry will not risk going into Loki's mind to check because Loki has been alive for thousands of years and is skilled in magic which means it's possible for him to harm Harry if Harry tries to read his mind.

Also I know that the world council and their fate when Harry goes after them wasn't mentioned in this chapter but it will be mentioned in the next chapter or one of the other chapters between now and Thor the dark world. Next chapter will have the rest of the party, I think that concludes everything I need to say, though knowing me I will probably remember something else to add about half an hour after I uploaded this.

Anyway thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed the chapter and feel free to leave a review. Also enjoy the omakes.

Omake 1:

"Daddy," Morgan Stark said. "I lost a tooth today, I'm going to put it under my pillow for the tooth fairy."

"That's wonderful sweetie." Stark replied.

Later.

"Okay," Harry whispered to Morgan. " that was great acting, I convinced your dad to put more than just a few coins, expect like a hundred dollars or something, so later on your dad will come into your room when you're asleep, he'll hide the money under your pillow. Then you and me split it fifty-fifty."

"I want more than that." Morgan replied.

"What do you mean more? It was my idea."

"But it's my tooth and my pillow and my dad." She argued.

"Fine, you get sixty percent and I'll get forty."

"I want more." She pouted.

"Fine, seventy for you and thirty for me, ask for any more than that and I'll stop letting Padfoot play with you."

"You wouldn't!" Morgan gasped.

"No I wouldn't, that's too evil even for me, but you see how serious I am. So deal?"

"Deal." Morgan grinned and shook his hand.

Omake 2 :

"What's a woman without her male partner?" Tony asked.

"Lesbian?" Clint guessed.

"Someone who needs doesn't need to waste money on headache pills." Pepper replied.

"Fine, then what's Juliet without Romeo?" Steve asked.

"Unimportant." Harry replied just as Natasha said "Alive."

Omake 3:

"Quick question," Harry said to Steve. "when you woke up from being frozen, did you do something to your hair?"

"No, why do you ask?" Steve frowned.

"Because it was perfectly styled." Harry replied. "Someone had to have styled your hair."

"Yeah but...hold on...Coulson said he watched me when I was asleep!"

"You might want to check your pubes." Harry advised.

Omake 4:

"What is your biggest weakness?" He asked Harry.

"I can be uncooperative." Harry replied. "Like to the extreme."

"Give me an example."

"No."

Omake 5:

"You don't think I can fight because I'm a girl!" Natasha said in an accusing voice.

"No," Harry shook his head. "I don't think you can fight because one of your legs is in a cast and you are wearing a wedding dress. For what it's worth I don't think Loki can fight in that dress."

"Perhaps not, but I'd make a rather radiant bride." Loki replied.

Omake 6:

"Who is your favorite superhero?" Tony asked Morgan.

"Grim!" She said happily as she clapped her hands. Pepper quietly laughs from her seat on the sofa.

"Fine, but you still love me right?" Tony asked Morgan.

"Yeah, I love you three thousand." She smiled.

"Hi guys," Harry said as he entered the room.

"Grim!" Morgan cried happily as she ran into his arms and he picked her up.

"Hey sweetie, missed you." Harry said.

"Missed you too," Morgan smiled. "I love you three thousand and one." She said.

"Thank you." Harry smiled, not noticing Tony collapsing from a broken heart.
