6Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi walked downstairs and unlocked the door. When they got downstairs, instead of seeing the passage to Princess Toadstool's dungeon, they instead come into a dark hallway where the music of Peach's Castle starts to pitch lower and lower.
Luigi: Uh… wh-wh-where are we?
Yoshi: I don't know, but… it's making me feel very uncomfortable.
Mario: Maybe this leads to the next Bowser area, but… I'm starting to feel uncomfortable as well.
Out of the darkness, a giant Wario head emerges.
Mario and Luigi: WARIO?!
Yoshi: Wait, that's Wario?!
Luigi: How are you out?! And what happened to you?!
Mario: We didn't even free you, yet!
The Wario Apparition stays silent.
Luigi: Umm… you wanna go jump on Goombas and have fun with us?
The Wario Apparition put on a sinister smile.
Wario Apparition: YOU WANT FUN? WARIO SHOW YOU FUN!
The apparition quickly approaches them. The Endless Stairs theme plays as Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi run for their lives out of fear. He eats Yoshi first, then Luigi, and slowly approaches Mario running with fear plastered on his face.
Wario Apparition: WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Mario: MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
The screen goes black. Zooming out of the screen, it was revealed that Toad was playing the game on his DS. His sister Toadette, and friend Princess Aqua sat aside him watching, and all three them didn't know what to say on what they just watched.
Aqua: You guys wanna play Mario Kart DS instead?
They nodded in agreement.
