"Wow, that's actually kind of impressive." These were the thoughts of one Naruto Uzumaki as he floated in the clouds while observing his destination by using a telescope that he had acquired.
The destination he was observing was known as the Red Line, which was where the Holy Lands, as they were called, were situated upon. The Red Line itself was a massive landmass that went hundreds of meters above sea level.
No wonder it was so hard to get to, or at least hard for the people of this world. Any Shinobi from back home would just run up the side of the thing or, for those who had special abilities like his flight, just fly up.
Naruto himself was still miles away from the Red Line itself, not wanting to get too close and risk being sensed. So instead he had taken to observing the place by using a telescope he had procured from the slave ship, and his superior vantage point.
"Of course those pompous assholes would have such extravagant homes as well." He grumbled as he looked at the massive homes of the wannabe gods. He couldn't help but be annoyed by this whole situation.
"So, what's the plan?" Asked the voice of Kurama, who was ready to just go in and start tearing the place apart, while also rescuing little Sarah of course. Naruto, however, had a different idea.
Even though he was miles away he could still sense the abundance of negative emotions, and pinpoint where each one was coming from exactly. "I think we're going to do a little rinse and repeat of the slave ship." Was his reply.
"You mean transform and take over? Isn't that a bit redundant, and not to mention a waste of time. It would take a while for you to replace that many people, especially if you don't want to be noticed." Said Kurama with some concern.
"I know that, which is why I'm heading straight for the head honchos." This caused Kurama to begin smirking.
"You're going to take out those bastards who're in control from the get go, huh. That would take the least amount of time, assuming that you can get close to them that easily."
"They like buying slaves, and the better looking the more they want them. So 'I'll just go back to my roots a bit for this mission if I have to." It took a few seconds before Kurama caught on to what the blond meant.
"Ugh, you're going to use that stupid Sexy Jutsu, aren't you?" Asked the fox in exasperation. Naruto just smiled cheekily, which was all the answer Kurama needed.
"Of course I'll still need to get into the Holy Land, but once I'm inside I should be able to handle everything easily once I'm not caught. I've been trying to see if I can detect anyone that might be a sensor, but I can't find any."
"Are there any guards?"
"Yeah, a few. I've been taking note of lookouts and any patrol routes they take for me to use when I'm sneaking in. I've already got most of it memorized, so getting in should be easy."
"And what about the brat?"
"I've found her location, and she seems mostly scared. I'll be heading straight to her once night falls, but I'll make sure to be ready just in case something happens."
"It's good to see you thinking things through."
"Too many peoples lives are at stake, even more than I first imagined. The tiniest slipup from me might get some of these people killed, so I have to make sure I do this right. After all, neither of us agree with keeping people locked up."
Kurama couldn't help but agree fully with Naruto on his last point. As someone who was imprisoned for decades, he knew what it felt like to have your freedom taken away by others.
"So, when are we going in?" Asked Kurama. He had heard Naruto mention the night, but he wanted an exact time.
"As soon as the sun sets, we'll make our move. Our first destination is Sarah's location, then from there we'll work on saving anyone else we can. I'll also send out a few clones to scout out the rest of this place" Finished Naruto. From there the two fell into a comfortable silence.
It was almost an hour later when Naruto descended to the sea below. Standing atop the water the blond dispersed his cloak and began heading towards the Red Line. As soon as he reached it he began running up it.
Once he was three quarters of the way to the top, he stopped. He quickly used a bit of his Earth Release to make an indent in the wall for him to stay in. He would wait here for night to fall since it should be hard for anyone to spot it.
He continued to observe all patrols and guards to make sure of their locations and patterns using his Sage Mode. Soon the sun had set and it was time for Naruto to begin his infiltration.
He immediately went about climbing the rest of the way up the Red Line. As he reached the top, he made sure to keep the whereabouts of everyone using his senses. As he slipped into the Holy Land, he couldn't help but think how easy this whole thing was.
He had also spread a few clones outside the walls where the World Nobles lived, to explored the entirety of the Holy Lands. Naruto especially wanted to see what was in the extremely large building that he saw that reminded him of a castle.
The original Naruto moved silently through the night, until he reached one of the massive mansions. He could sense that Sarah was here, beneath the ground. That meant that there was a basement or something below.
He silently moved around the mansion to see if he could find any entrance point. His lick seemed to be working as he noticed a balcony with an open door. It was extremely high up, and it would be impossible to climb up to it by normal means.
Naruto simply leaped up to the almost thirty meter balcony, silently landing upon it. He quietly snuck inside. He knew where everyone in the mansion was, which made moving around even easier.
He silently crept through the house, until he found the door that most likely led to the basement. He quickly noticed that it was locked up and guarded by two large men, but that wouldn't be a problem for him.
In a blur he disappeared and took out the two guards, a simple dose of electricity being enough to render them unconscious and smoking on the ground. Afterwards he immediately went about picking the locks.
Once he was finished he made two clones who took the forms of the guards, while Naruto dragged their bodies through the door. His clones will make sure that nothing seemed out of place if anyone came through the area.
A few seconds later Naruto found himself walking down the stairs to the basement. As he came to the bottom, the first thing that caught his eyes were the numerous cages. He didn't even waste any time and began opening the cages that held people inside, each of whom were also wearing those stupid collars.
They were all looking at him in a mixture of confusion and fear, not really knowing what was happening. It was as he reached Sarah's cage that he found her there unconscious. He then noticed that her back appeared to be bleeding.
Naruto walked into the cage and picked the little girl up. She was awoken by the movement and began to panic, thrashing around and trying to hit Naruto. He quickly began trying to soothe the girl.
"Sarah, it's okay. It's me, Naruto, and I'm going to get you back home." Said Naruto. It took him a few minutes before he finally got her to calm down, before she began crying. She immediately hugged Naruto and buried her face in his chest when she finally noticed it was him.
"I was so scared. Are mom and dad okay?" Cried the girl.
"Yeah, they are. I got your mom back from the people who took you guys, and now she and your dad are back home waiting for you." Said Naruto as he just continued to soothe her. He began to try and rub her back comfortingly, but she winced and moved away.
"What's wrong with your back?" He asked. Noticing the look on her face Naruto leaned her forward and lifted the neck of her shirt so he could look down it and see her back. The smell of burnt flesh and the large mark he saw was all that was necessary for him to know what had happened.
These bastards had branded her. Naruto immediately felt his anger grow, but he squashed it down. He couldn't afford to lose his cool right now. If this was how they treated their slaves, then he couldn't afford to leave people to this type of life.
He immediately put his hand over Sarah's back. With that his hand began to glow as he started healing the wound. In seconds the entire thing was gone, which helped to lighten Sarah's mood greatly.
Naruto then stood up while holding Sarah in his arms. "Alright, I'll be getting you all out of here. First we'll have to get rid of those collars and heal any injuries, so I'll need you all to just be patient."
"How the hell are you going to get all of us out of here? We'll be noticed the moment we step outside." Said a random prisoner.
"Don't worry, I can handle it. I just need your cooperation to make sure that nothing goes wrong." Was Naruto's reply.
"What about the collars. These things will explode if you don't remove them with a key?" Asked another person, a woman this time.
"I'm on my way to go and get the key. I would try picking the locks, but I'm not too used to these collars. I don't know if they'll explode if they're tampered with."
"So what do you want us to do?" Asked yet another person.
"For now just wait here until I return with the key. From there I'll let you all know what to do next." Said Naruto, to which a few of the captives nodded. The boy had already gotten this far, so they might as well see how much further he could go.
Naruto then proceeded to set Sarah on the ground. "I need you to wait here until I get back. Once I do, I'll make sure to get you back home to your mom and dad." Said Naruto with his best smile.
Sarah just nodded as she gave him one final hug. "Be careful, and hurry back." She whispered in his ear. Naruto just smiled and nodded, which made the little girl smile as well.
Naruto quickly created about ten clones and gave them instructions to begin healing the prisoners, especially their backs since they were all recently branded. He would have to make sure that they were in top shape to help with the plan, or escape, if needed.
Naruto then got up and proceeded back upstairs. Once there he made a few more clones. "Gather up everyone who works in this shit-hole and subdue them. We can't afford to have any of them that are loyal to their master spoil things." Said Naruto.
Immediately his clones went to work gathering up everyone that was in the mansion. They tied them up and began moving them all into the foyer, where they would wait for the original to return.
They didn't like the fact that they had to treat these people like this, but at the moment they had no idea of who might be loyal to the Celestial Dragon, and who would want to escape.
Meanwhile, the original Naruto was heading towards who could only be his main target. He could sense numerous hostiles by it as well, which meant he might have to do a bit of fighting.
As he came upon the hallway leading to his target, he took a peek around the corner. To no surprise he saw the twelve guards that he had sensed all guarding what looked like a heavily armored door.
They were lined off with six on each side of the hall. Naruto quickly considered how he would take care of them without the risk of raising any alarms. It was times like this that he cursed not knowing any Illusionary Techniques.
Naruto then began to grin as he got an idea. He had something that he wanted to try out. With a simple bit of concentration Naruto began molding his chakra. He then activated his Magnet Release and began turning that chakra into sand.
He couldn't help the smirk that appeared on his face when he saw that it was working. He hadn't really used it much, but he was sure going to enjoy this. Once he saw that he had made enough sand he put his plan into action.
He couldn't risk using lightning or anything like that which would make the guards scream, so he had to handle this silently. With that thought he moved the sand up to the ceiling.
He was a bit surprised by the amount of concentration needed to control every grain of sand, but he quickly got used to it. He slowly slid the sand across the ceiling until each guard had a generous amount over them.
"Alright, let's do this." Whispered Naruto as he made the sand move. Instantly the sand swooped down and began wrapping around each guard, making sure to start with the head to avoid any possible screams.
It then fully wrapped them each up until they were all completely cocooned in sand. Seeing that his plan had worked perfectly, Naruto proceeded to walk down the hallway. He stopped when he was right in front of the door, but couldn't help but frown.
There were numerous keyholes on the door, showing that it needed several different keys to open it. "Really! What the fuck is up with these people and keys?" Asked Naruto, who was starting to get a bit frustrated.
It was at that moment that an idea struck him. He once more used his chakra to make sand and began changing its shape randomly. He smiled as he now had a plan. He immediately made enough sand and began putting it into the keyholes.
He could feel every groove inside, and the sand immediately began to take the forms of the numerous keys based on the locks. When Naruto was fully satisfied, he began to make the sand twist.
The numerous clicks of the locks releasing was like music to his ears. The sound of releasing air was a surprise, though. Naruto just shrugged as he opened the door, which didn't even make a squeak.
He quietly slid into the room, which had way too much extravagant décor for Naruto's liking, and crept up to the person asleep on the bed. Naruto didn't even waste any time trying to take in the person's appearance.
Instead he walked up to the person and placed a single hand over their mouth. Immediately the person in his grip was startled awake, before he began to struggle when he realized the situation.
Naruto just looked at the struggling man passively. He could see the fear in his eyes, but couldn't bring himself to care. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you… much." Said Naruto with a sinister smirk.
He watched as Jalmack began to panic even more and tried to reach for something, but he wouldn't give him the chance. With that Naruto drew back and punched the Celestial Dragon square in the face, rendering the man unconscious easily.
He then grabbed the man and began dragging him to his destination. Soon Naruto found himself in the foyer, where he threw the body of Jalmack down in front of everyone who worked for him.
Naruto observed the large group of workers, each one wearing those stupid collars. Naruto was truly getting tired of seeing those things, but he at least had a way to remove them without having to go searching for the keys.
"Look, I know that none of you know me, but I'm here to make you all an offer. Anyone who want's to get away from this life can stand now, and anyone who is loyal to this bastard can stay where you are." Said Naruto
Everyone's attention was still focused on the unconscious form of Jalmack that was sprawled out over the floor. That was a sight that many of them never even dreamed of seeing.
"Who are you?" Asked a woman that was dressed as a maid.
"Someone who is here to help those that want it." Replied Naruto.
"Do you know what you've just done? To attack a Celestial Dragon is a death sentence." Said an older man.
"I know, but I can't just sit by and let them do whatever they want." Responded Naruto
"And how exactly do you plan on helping us?" Asked another person.
"Well, first I'll set you free, then I'm going to help you all return to your homes, or get to wherever you want to go."
"Do you really think that you could pull something like this off? There has only been one person in history that has tried what you're trying to do right now." Questioned another random voice from the crowd.
"I can do it, but I'll need your help. There are a lot of people being held here against their will, and I won't stop until they're all free." Said Naruto with determination. "So, anyone that wants to be free can stand." He finished.
"We can never truly be free, not as long as we carry their mark upon our backs and these collars on our necks." Said another man as he ripped his shirt off to show Naruto the brand underneath. That brand alone would have them hunted forever, even if they escaped.
Naruto just walked up to the man to inspect the mark. It was a circle with three triangles pointing up on top, and one triangle pointing down at the bottom. This was most likely the same mark that they had placed on Sarah and the others.
The Shinobi simply placed his hand above the mark and began to concentrate. All of the servants eyes widened when the branded skin began to fall off, leaving nothing but clear skin in its place. "Would that help?" Asked Naruto.
Once more the people began looking at him in shock for what he had done. "You might just be able to pull this off." Said the man whose mark Naruto had healed. This quickly knocked everyone else out of their stupor.
Immediately, out of the eighty-five people before him, seventy-nine stood up. These were the people who weren't loyal, but had no other choice. The other six had already come to accept Jalmack as their master, and were totally broken.
Naruto sighed at this. With a wave his clones grabbed the six loyalists and the other guards, freeing the ones that were in sand, while he grabbed Jalmack and began heading towards the basement. As he reached the door he nodded to his disguised clones who opened it.
He quickly moved down the stairs and caught the attention of the new slaves that were still waiting for him. He quickly moved and put Jalmack in a cage. "Search all of them good. We can't take any chances that might mess up our plans." Said Naruto.
Immediately his clones went to work searching Jalmack and his followers for any surprises. "The rest of you, follow me." Finished Naruto as he turned and began heading back up the stairs, with Sarah running up to walk next to him.
All of the other captives were looking at the unconscious noble and giving him death glares, which Naruto quickly noticed. 'Liiok, I know you all want to get back at him, but for right now he's needed for my plans to succeed. For now he's not to be touched." Said Naruto seriously as he continued walking up the stairs.
He didn't care about the man's health, just the info he might be able to provide. It would be foolish to kill Jalmack at this point in time, especially when he could be exactly what was needed for the plan to go off without a hitch.
With that everyone else quickly began following Naruto up the stairs. As they reached the top, they found the rest of Naruto's clones healing the brands off of the old slaves backs. Naruto immediately got everyone's attention.
"Okay, here's what's about to happen. We're going to get out of here, but I won't be leaving anyone behind. The first thing that we'll have to do is remove these collars." With that said, the sand that had been left on the ground sprang up.
Immediately Naruto moved the sand towards some of the collars, gaining some startled cries from their wearers. "What the hell is going on?" Asked a woman.
"I'm going to use the sand to unlock all of your collars. Having to go around and look for the keys will take up too much time, so I came up with a faster method." Hearing this caused everyone to calm down somewhat.
They all watched with baited breath as sand went into the keyholes. Soon they heard a click, and watched as the collars released. The joy the people felt was almost palpable. Naruto continued with his method until everyone had their collars removed.
"So, what now?" Asked a woman who looked to be no older than twenty-five.
"Now, I need you all to help me free the other slaves." Replied Naruto.
"Why do you need our help? It seems that you can handle this on your own." Said another person.
"While I can handle this on my own, I'm not leaving until everyone's free. That means that I'm going to need all of you to keep up the illusion that nothing is going on here." Said Naruto.
"Why can't we just go home?" Asked a man.
"You can, but do the other people being held here not deserve to go home as well? If I take you all away now, then everyone will be able to tell that something is going on. There's far too many people for me to get this done in one night."
"So what will we have to do?" Asked another woman.
"All I need you all to do is continue acting like nothing's wrong. I'll try to get everything done as fast as I can and then, when there is no chance of anyone being able to recapture any of you, I will begin extracting you all."
The gathered slaves began quietly discussing it between themselves, before quickly coming to the unanimous decision to follow the plan. Naruto had already done more than anyone else in history had, so they would trust him.
"Alright, we'll follow your plans." Said the man whose mark Naruto had removed first. Naruto nodded as he began looking around the gathered group. He really had his work cut out for him.
What had started as a quest to get a single girl back, was now turning into something far greater. As Naruto continued to look around, he began noticing all of the fancy, and probably expensive, items around the home.
"Everyone, there's something else I want you all to do. Start gathering anything that might be of value, no matter what it is. Any money or earning can be split among you all to help you when you get to where you're all going." Said Naruto.
He knew that all of these people were uprooted from their lives, and so would probably need something to help them. Why not get it from the people who took them to begin with.
The gathered group seemed to get extremely happy at the idea. They had no problem taking everything that could help them, and so got to work doing so. It was then that Naruto heard what sounded like growling coming from Sarah, who was standing next to him.
It didn't take him long to realize that it was her stomach. "You hungry, kid?" Asked Naruto with an amused smile on his face. The little girl just nodded with a blush on her face.
Naruto could only smile, but he knew that many of the others were probably hungry as well. "Hey, is there any food here?" Asked Naruto to one of the people that worked in the mansion.
"Yeah, in the kitchen. I guess everyone that's hungry can just follow me." Replied the man loudly enough for everyone to hear. He quickly led a large group towards what Naruto could only assume was the kitchen.
Naruto then looked down at Sarah, who still hadn't left to go get food. "Go ahead, I'll be here when you're done. Then I'll work to get you back home to your parents." He said.
"Aren't you coming too?" Asked Sarah, to which Naruto smiled.
No, I have a few things that I have to think about. I'll be here when you're done, so don't worry." With those final words from Naruto, Sarah smiled and ran to catch up with the group who went to get food.
Once she was gone Naruto finally released a tired sigh. "What the hell am I doing?" He wondered to himself. He couldn't help but wonder if he had gotten in over his head a bit. He still didn't fully understand this world.
"You're doing the same thing you always do, giving people hope." Answered Kurama. He had been silently watching Naruto work, and so far he was impressed. He also liked how Naruto was using his new abilities in useful ways.
"Thanks, partner. I really needed that, but I'm not sure how much of a difference any of this will make."
"It might not make any difference, or it might be what turns this world on it's head. We won't know until we're done."
"What about the other slavers? I doubt that ship we took out was the only one."
"Most likely it's not, but that's a problem for a different time. For now we need to fully strategize how we're going to get all of these people out of here, 'cause I doubt that we can just use the front door."
"I already have a few plans for that." Retorted Naruto as the two silently began making plans between them. They both knew that they couldn't afford any slipups, or things could go bad easily.
It was a few minutes later when the two partners were done going through a few plans. Naruto once more found himself just observing as everyone else went about doing various things.
He decided to go and see how Sarah was holding up, especially after all of the things that she had been through in the last few days. She was acting fine, but Naruto knew that this experience could do a lot of damage to the poor girl.
So Naruto quickly made his way to where he could sense the large group had gone off to. He came upon the sight of a bunch of food being passed around, and many people sporting happy looks.
He smiled at the sight, while also being glad that these people got the chance to actually smile again. He doubted that they would be doing much of that if they were slaves to some egomaniac.
As he entered he received nods and hails from everyone, along with thanks. Naruto was glad that these people were happy, but he had to check up on Sarah. He quickly made his way over to where the girl was sitting at a massive table.
'Hey, kid, can I talk to you?" Asked Naruto, to which she nodded. Naruto then lead her back in the hall, where they would have a bit of privacy. "So, how are you holding up?" He asked as he turned to look at her.
Sarah just shrugged her shoulders. "I'm fine." She replied, but Naruto knew that was a lie. He could sense the negative emotions in her, and knew that she was holding her feelings in.
He was actually a bit impressed by this. Sarah was just a kid, but was trying to act tough. Most adults would've probably been sniveling messes by now, but she didn't want to seem weak.
Naruto just kneeled down and pulled the girl into a hug. She froze for a few seconds, but then the waterworks started. Naruto knew that their reunion in the basement wasn't enough for her to let everything out, so he would give her time to do so.
He stood there for almost ten minutes as Sarah cried into his shoulder, with him whispering soothing words into her ear the whole time. Finally fatigue took over as Sarah began to fall asleep in his arms.
"Come on, let's get you to bed." Said Naruto as he picked her up. He would find a room with a bed for her to sleep in. It didn't take long for him to find one in the huge ass mansion.
He quickly tucked Sarah into bed, with her being fully asleep at the moment, and walked out while quietly closing the door behind him. He had one more stop to make, and info to gain so as to make this little endeavor go as smoothly as possible.
With that he began making his way back towards the basement. As he reached the foyer again, and saw all of the discarded collars, he got an idea. He quickly moved to pick up a few of the collars.
He then made his way down to the basement, to find Jalmack still laying in his cell unconscious. He quickly opened the cell door and walked inside. He then proceeded to place a collar around Jalmack's neck, making sure to lock it as well.
He then locked the rest of the collars on the cell bars so they couldn't be removed without the key. Seeing his work done, he proceeded to wake up Jalmack. A few slaps to the face was all it took to get the man to awaken.
Jalmack, once he realized what was happening, immediately began to panic. "Who are you? Do you have any idea who I am, you won't get away with this." Said the man, frantically.
"I'm sure I will, but the real question is do you want to live through this?" Asked Naruto in a serious voice. He then gestured to the collar around Jalmack's neck.
"What do you want?" Asked the man.
"Simple, I want any information you can give me. I don't care what it is, I want it." Said Naruto. He mostly wanted info on the other Saints, any slave trading routes, and other basic things that might help him.
Luckily Jalmack was a coward once he saw that he didn't have any protection, and immediately began telling Naruto everything. This included the man's entire life story for the most part.
Naruto just sat and listened, filing away anything that might be useful. He could've just connected with Jalmack, but he didn't want to see some of the horrors that the man had committed.
So instead he went about getting data the old fashioned way, interrogation. The fear of death was enough to get Naruto the honest truth from the man. Soon, after hours of listening, Jalmack was finished.
"So, will you let me go now?" Asked the terrified Celestial Dragon.
"Sorry, but I might still need you for a bit more. Until then you'll be staying here." Said Naruto as he stood and left the basement, with the sound of Jalmack screaming and crying behind him.
Luckily the basement was soundproof so that no noise could escape it. He had gotten quite a bit of new info, including the fact that there was a huge safe in the mansion and every other one as well.
He had the code for Jalmack's safe, so he would have to make sure that it got cleaned out as well. He also now had the names of the other Celestial Dragons, and which home belonged to each.
This would make his infiltration of the other houses even easier. With that, it was about time that he started working on finishing this whole thing. He had a lot of people to get back home after all.
xxXXxx
Over the next week Naruto began his infiltration plan. He had started by transforming into Jalmack, and that allowed him entrance into any of the other Celestial Dragon's homes.
People didn't say no to them, after all. He simply went in through the front door, got a meeting with whichever wannabe god owned the home, and then replaced them with a clone. He would then do the same thing he had done at Jalmack's place.
He would make sure to keep the ones loyal to their master locked up as well, as they could mess up the entire plan. In less than two weeks, Naruto had done something that literally hadn't been done before.
Almost all of the Celestial Dragons were taken out and replaced, with nobody but the slaves any the wiser. Naruto was actually proud of his progress, especially when he had never even so much as thought about doing something like this before in his life.
He had also been able to get a better look at the different species that inhabited this world. He had found a few Fish-men, giants and other type of people held captive by some of the World Nobles.
Some of the Fish-men reminded him of Kisame based on appearance alone, while others were a numerous mix of other sea creatures. He actually found them all quite interesting, even though they didn't really trust him right away.
He had learned that the Fish-men didn't trust, and even disliked humans, but they gave him a shot after he freed them. They actually brought up someone named Fisher Tiger and asked if he was the one who inspired Naruto, but Naruto had no idea who that was.
He had also learned about Devil Fruits, after being asked if he had one. Naruto was quite shocked when he learned that this world had fruits that could grant someone numerous abilities, though each fruit only had one.
This reminded him a bit of a chakra fruit, and Naruto decided that he wanted to try and find one. He wanted to see if he could figure out how they worked, or at least see if they were like the chakra fruit from his world.
Back on the topic of freeing the slaves, Naruto was now almost done. He had already taken down every World Noble except for one, whose home he was preparing to infiltrate right now.
The last of the World Nobles was the one that Naruto had wanted to meet the most. He was a man by the name of Mjosgard, who was apparently the opposite of every other World Noble that Naruto had taken out so far.
One of the main differences, was the fact that the man didn't own any slaves. This was the reason that Naruto had left him for last, since he didn't really have anyone to save from Mjosgard to begin with.
And so here he was, almost three weeks into being in the Holy Land, and going to talk to the final Celestial Dragon. He had heard about the man from all of the others, and he couldn't wait to see him with his own eyes.
As he stood observing his final objective, he couldn't help but think how Sarah and her family were doing, along with everyone else on Willow Island. Sarah had been the only person that had been returned home so far, and that was because her parents were waiting and worried about her.
She was his main objective, and the reason he had come here in the first place. He had promised her parents that he would try and get her back to them as soon as he could, which he did.
He wasn't trying to say that Sarah was more important than everyone else, just that she was his mission, and he'd be damned if he failed at a mission of such importance. She had inadvertently saved his life, and her parents took him in.
Of course he would make sure she got back home as soon as possible. Her leaving did nothing to the plan and, once done, he would also help everyone else get to their destinations as quickly as possible.
There were other children in the Holy Lands, but a lot of them had their parents there with them as slaves. Some had even been born into slavery, having no idea what freedom even was.
When Naruto had freed all of those other children, he had once more been reminded of how evil these wannabe gods were, and why what he was doing was for the good of everyone else around them.
Naruto released a silent sigh as he began sneaking into Mjosgard's home, making sure to keep his senses sharp so that, hopefully, nothing went wrong. He silently crept through the home until he came upon the room where Mjosgard was, having already memorized the feeling of all of the World Nobles.
He soon came upon the room, where the door was surprisingly open. He had learned that the Celestial Dragons slept in air tight rooms that had air pumped into them, because they didn't want to breathe the same air as those beneath them.
That was the reason that air had escaped from Jalmack's room when Naruto had opened the door. Naruto just found the entire thing to be one big death trap. All it took was for something to happen to the air tanks for them to suffocate.
Naruto quickly pulled the door open, and silently slipped inside the room. He wasn't surprised that the man was already asleep, it was quite early in the morning already after all. Naruto quickly moved towards the bed.
He silently contemplated how he should start the encounter, but then decided to just go for it. He quickly shook the man awake, while being ready to move in case he tried to scream.
It only took some light shaking before Mjosgard was awake, and looking at Naruto in a mixture of shock and fear. "W-Who are you? Why are you in my home?" Asked the man, fearfully as he sat up in his bed.
"Relax, Mjosgard. My name's Naruto, and I'm only here to talk." Said Naruto as he stepped away from the bed a bit in order for the man to calm down some.
"How the hell did you get in here?" Asked Mjosgard.
"Almost the same way that I got into the home of all of the other nobles. I snuck in."
"But why? Are you going to kill me?"
"In truth that was the plan, but I heard from your peers that you're different, the odd man out if you will."
"That's true. I changed my ways a few years ago when I was saved from death."
"Is that so." Asked Naruto with some intrigue. "I'd like to hear that story." Requested Naruto. Mjosgard seemed to consider the request for a while before he decided to tell his story.
There was no point in hiding it from the man, nor did he feel like it was some kind of secret. So he indulged his story of how he almost died, but was saved by the queen of the Ryugu Kingdom, Otohime.
He told Naruto everything, including how the queen had managed to change him and make him see that he was in fact no better than any other human. Naruto silently listened to the story, and was quite impressed by this queen.
According to Mjosgard, he was just like every other World Noble, so to get him to change so drastically was nothing short of a miracle. Queen Otohime was clearly someone who could bring out the good in others.
He was saddened when he learned that she had died, as he would've loved to have a chance to meet the woman. Once Mjosgard was finished with his tale, Naruto stood and began to leave.
He could tell that the man was being honest with him, and had already changed his ways and was trying to atone for his past actions. That meant that he wasn't a target for Naruto anymore.
"Wait, where are you going?" Asked Mjosgard in confusion.
"You aren't like the others, which means that I have nothing against you. I'm going to free the rest of the slaves from captivity, all that I ask of you is to not tell anyone." Said Naruto as he looked back at the noble who was sitting on his bed.
"Of course I won't. I've been trying to talk the others into releasing everyone, but they wouldn't listen. If this is what it takes for those people to be free, then you have my full support."
"That's good to know. I've finished with all of the other nobles, so now I'll be getting the ones that work in other parts of this place. Within the next few hours, they will all be free."
"That is truly wonderful, but what will you do with the other Celestial Dragons?" Asked Mjosgard, though he had a good idea what the blond before him might have in store for the others.
Naruto considered if he should answer or not, before deciding to just tell him. "The other nobles will die tonight. I've already gotten everything of importance out of them, so they're now useless."
Mjosgard nodded at this before he began to get out of bed. Naruto watched him in case of an attack or something, but that wasn't the case. Instead Mjosgard got down on his knees and bowed low to Naruto.
"Please, I beg you to spare the others." Begged the man, to which Naruto's eyes widened in shock.
"Why the fuck would I do that? The whole point of this was to get rid of them, so that they couldn't abuse their power anymore."
"I'm aware of their attitude, but I can't condemn them for actions that I myself use to partake in. I know that you want them dead, but maybe this will help me to change them for the better the same way that I was." Pleaded Mjosgard.
Naruto just looked at him with a scowl on his face. While he was all for giving people a second chance, none of those people had ever done things as bad as these nobles had. Then again, Mjosgard was proof that they could change under the right circumstances.
He had taken everything that the other nobles had in their homes, but he was sure that that wasn't everything. This situation might change them for the better, or make them even worse. "Do you really think that you can get them to change, to be better than they are now?" Asked the blond.
"I don't know if the others will, or even can change, but I'm willing to try. If I can get them to change, then fine. And if I can't, then I'll finish them myself." Said Mjosgard with a look of determination.
He knew that this would be an almost impossible task, but he had to try. And if he failed, then he was willing to take full responsibility. Naruto looked at the man and could see his resolve, which made him sigh.
"This is a horrible idea." Naruto said in exasperation.
"I know that, but it could also be a good one."
"And you're going to do what is necessary if they get out of line again?"
"Yes, I will. Even if I can't get them all, I will do my best to get as much as I can." Naruto sighed once more as he rubbed his temples. He shouldn't allow this, but he believed that Mjosgard might just be able to change at least one of the others.
"Alright, I'll leave them to you. But if they step out of line and you don't handle things, then I'll be coming back for all of you." Said Naruto as he flared a bit of his killing intent, which caused a look of terror to form on Mjosgard's face.
"Of course, I understand." Said the man, to which Naruto nodded.
"I'll leave them to you, but I'm still destroying this place. I'll leave your place standing. Maybe you can use that to get the others living here, and make trying to change them a bit easier.'
Mjosgard's eyes widened in shock as this was new info for him. This guy was going to destroy the home of the gods as well. He surely wasn't holding anything back. "You're really trying to prove your point, aren't you?" Asked the noble in amusement.
"Yep! I'm showing the world that these bastards aren't untouchable. While letting them live wasn't my first choice, destroying this place was. Come tomorrow everything beside your home will be nothing but rubble."
This time it was Mjosgard who sighed. He knew that he had already gotten a lot just by getting Naruto to let the other nobles live, so he wouldn't try to argue with him on this. "Fine, if that's what it takes." He said.
With that Naruto once more began to take his leave, but was stopped once more by Mjosgard. "Wait!" Said the man as he got up and went to his drawer. He then opened it and pulled out what looked like a snail.
"Take this so that you can contact me directly, or so that I can contact you. If I can't get them to change, and I can't handle them, then I'll call you for help. You can also contact me if you get into some type of trouble, and I'll use my influence to help you in whatever way I can." Finished Mjosgard.
Naruto nodded as he took the little snail. He knew that this was a Transponder Snail, and knew what they were used for. He simply put the small creature in his pocket and turned to continue leaving.
Once he was finally outside, Naruto summoned two dozen clones. "Half of you free all of the others, and bring them here as fast as you can. Tonight they will all get their freedom back. The rest of you get this place ready to be destroyed." With that all of the clones moved to do what was asked of them.
Half of them began making exploding seals on certain places on all of the buildings, while the rest went to get the rest of the slaves. Subtlety wasn't really needed, but they would use it anyway.
It was around thirty minutes later that the retrieval team returned, with a bunch of other people with them. Naruto could tell that they were a bit confused, but knew that his clones had already explained the situation to them and healed their wounds.
"Alright, now that you're all free, it's time to leave this place." Said the original.
"How are we going to do that?" Asked one of the newcomers. He was one of the people that were used to move the streets, which was why Naruto couldn't move them until he was ready to leave.
"Just let me handle that. First things first, I'll need you all to let me know which direction you're going in." Said Naruto. He had already sent clones out to gather the other slaves that were in the mansions.
Soon Naruto had all of the people before him, and was ready to move. He then proceeded to make fifty clones, ten for each group. These groups were going to the east, west, north south, and one to take the Fish-men down to sea level, since their home was right below where they were standing.
He had already split everyone up by which main direction they lived in, and had made sealing scrolls for each to carry their treasures. The seals activated when the scroll was opened, automatically releasing their contents.
The seal would then destroy itself, leaving no trace of it. He had already warned everyone to not open their scroll until they reached their destination. Seeing that everyone was ready, one clone from each group slammed their arms into the ground.
Instantly the ground under each group started to crack and shift, before they were each standing on sand. The sand then started to float in the air, carrying the passengers with them.
"Alright, you all know what to do. Get these people back home safely." Said Naruto as each group took off further into the air, with each heading in a different direction With that, Naruto had finished freeing every slave in the Holy Lands.
That thought actually brought a smile to his face. That smile disappeared as a next batch of clones appeared before him, and each had an unconscious Celestial Dragon with them. Naruto would've preferred to just kill them, but he had decided to let Mjosgard try and change them.
That didn't mean that he couldn't do something with them though. With that Naruto walked up to the clone holding Jalmack, the one who had caused him to come here in the first place.
He then grabbed Jalmack by the back of his neck and took him from the clone. "Hide the rest of them until I give the signal that everything is okay. All but one of you can disperse once they're hidden.." Said Naruto, to which the clones nodded and took off with the other nobles.
With that Naruto began dragging Jalmack towards the gate that led out to Pangaea Castle, where the Five Elders resided. His clones had gotten a lot of info about them as well, along with what was in the castle when he had them scout out everything.
He didn't really know the reason, or point, for having a lot of the things he had seen, but he was sure that there was one. He didn't know why the hell they had some giant straw hat among other things, but he didn't really care.
With that Naruto kicked the gate open and walked out, intent on getting what he wanted. He hoped that they would know that he wasn't to be fucked with by this display, and if they didn't then he could still do worse.
"Now, let's go and have a little talk with five old geezers and see what they have to say for themselves." Thought Naruto with a smile as he headed towards the large castle, already aware of the attention that he had garnered.
Instantly he found himself surrounded by four people, two men, and two tall bastards wearing masks, who were wearing mostly white, with one of the men carrying a bird that was also wearing a white jacket, a tie, and a hat.
Naruto just continued walking, not even slowing down with the new presences surrounding him. "Stop, who exactly are you?" Asked the man who was carrying the bird.
Naruto finally stopped and looked at the man. 'I'm here to have a meeting with the five old bastards in the castle, not you bird man." Said Naruto, which caused the other man to frown.
"I am Rob Lucci, leader of CP-0. This is the last time that I will ask who you are, and why you're coming out of that place." He said, as the others with him seemed to be getting ready for a fight.
Naruto just raised his captive high so that they could finally get a good look at him, which caused their eyes to widen. "I went to pick up a few party favors for my meeting. Any other questions?" He asked the still shocked group.
"You dare attack one of the gods, and in their own home no less? You will pay for this." Said Rob, but Naruto just sighed.
"Look, I have no interest in you. Now, get those old geezers out here, or I'll just start getting rid of a few wannabe gods." Said Naruto in a serious tone. The Cipher Pol members immediately understood what he was saying.
He had more than one of the World Nobles hostage, maybe even all of them, and could still harm the others. That meant that they couldn't afford to make this situation worse. Rob then looked towards the other known male of the group and nodded, with him taking off a few seconds later.
Naruto watched as he made his way towards the castle, and once more began walking. "Where do you think you're going?" Asked Rob as he once more tried to stop Naruto.
"As I said, I'm not interested in any of you. I wish to talk with those in charge, and that's what I'm going to do."
"Do you really think that we'd just let you pass?" Asked one of the other figures, the one with the red and black mask. Naruto just sighed as he knew that he'd have to show them he wasn't kidding. With that though Naruto lifted up Jalmack, who was still unconscious, once more.
He then grabbed the man's arm, and simply twisted. The scream of pain that was unleashed was the only warning they had. They all began to grit their teeth in anger as they got ready to attack.
Seeing this, Naruto spoke once more. "Do you really think that any of you can get to me before I can snap his neck?" Asked Naruto as he tightened his grip on Jalmack's neck, which caused his screaming to slow a bit.
Rob thought about the situation for a minute. He knew that he was fast, but he had no idea how fast their opponent was. He couldn't take the chance of the Celestial Dragon getting killed, so he backed off.
The rest of his group immediately followed his lead. Seeing the confrontation avoided for now, Naruto once more continued on his walk. This time nobody tried to stop him, just follow from a safe distance.

Inside what was known as the Room of Authority, located in the Pangaea Castle, a meeting between six individuals was in progress. These people were the Five Elders, along with the Marine Admiral Kizaru.
The reason that Kizaru was here was because the Elders had been getting a weird feeling for the past few weeks. They didn't know what, but they felt like something was wrong with the World Nobles.
So, because of that, they had summoned the three Admirals to come to the Holy Lands. One could never be too careful in situations like this after all. Sadly, because the Admirals were spread out across the world, they all couldn't make it at the same time.
Kizaru was the closest, which was why he was the first one here. The Five Elders had been in the middle of explaining their worries to him, along with their plan, when they heard a banging noise on the door.
"Enter!" Was the command from one of the five, the youngest looking one. Instantly they watched as a member of CP-0 came rushing into the room with numerous Marines following him and appearing panicked..
"We have a situation." He stated in a bit of a panic. This caused some worry for the others as well since CP-0 were the ones who looked after the Celestial Dragons.
"What's happening?" Asked a bald elder.
"Someone has taken the Celestial Dragons hostage." He replied. This one statement seemed to cause the entire room to freeze for a second.
"Are you sure that you're not mistaken?" Asked another of the elders. He had to be sure. Who the hell was stupid enough to attack the World Nobles, especially when they were in the Holy Lands.
"Yes sir! He has, who appears to be, Saint Jalmack with him, and has claimed to have others as well." The tension in the room was almost palpable, but the Elders knew that they had to handle this problem quickly.
"What does he want?" Asked the same elder again.
"We don't, know, he just said that he wants a meeting with you all." This caused the Elders to begin looking among themselves. They were wondering what this mysterious man could want.
"Fine, bring him to us." Said another Elder, but before anyone could move another voice spoke up.
"I'm already here." Said the voice of Naruto, who was now standing in the doorway to the room, while still holding a whimpering Jalmack in his grip. "My name's Naruto, and you five are the old bastards that run everything." He finished.
All of the members of the World Government scowled at the blatant disrespect, but none moved for fear of the Celestial Dragons safety. They couldn't afford for something to happen to any of them.
"What is it that you want?" Asked the young looking elder. Naruto just smiled at this.
"Well, what I want is quite simple. These bastards you all seem to worship, revels in slavery and buying people. So, for that reason, I'll be selling them all back to you guys." Said Naruto.
This got him a few raised eyebrows, along with shocked looks. "You're trying to ransom off the Celestial Dragons?" Asked another of the Elders, this one having long hair and a beard.
"Yes, I am. My initial plan was to just kill them all after freeing the slaves, but I changed my mind." Said Naruto, which caused even more shock to spread.
"What! Are you saying that you've freed the slaves that they had?" Asked another one of the old geezers.
"Yep! I've freed every slave that was in this supposed Holy Land, and they're all on their way back to their respective homes as we speak." Said Naruto, smugly. This caused a few scowls around the room, but Naruto didn't care.
"And how much are you trying to get here?"
"Well, I want five billion Berries…. a piece." Said Naruto. He really didn't care about the money, but he wasn't letting these bastards go easily. The price he listed immediately caused the Elders to narrow their eyes.
"And how much time do we have to get the money? Asked one of the bald headed elders. Naruto took up a thinking pose and seemed to consider the question.
"Well, since I'm in a good mood right now, I'll give you all five hours. At that time I'll come back for my money, and you'll receive the scum you all call gods." He replied. He was sure that they could probably get the money on time, and if not then it wasn't his problem.
The Elders looked among each other and seemed to have a silent conversation between them. After seemingly coming to a conclusion, the youngest looking one spoke again. "Alright, we accept your terms. Within five hours you will have your payment." He said.
Naruto nodded at this as he turned around to exit. "Alright then, I'll be back. I have a feeling that me staying here would cause a few problems." He said.
"Stop, we can't allow you to leave with a Celestial Dragon in that condition." Said one of the old guys. There were people on the street now, so having someone walking around while manhandling a noble was a big no-no.
They couldn't allow anyone to know what was happening here, or it would make everyone look bad. Naruto just looked at them with some amusement.
"I see that you believe I give a flying fuck about what you want, but I really don't. I'm leaving, and I'll be back in five hours.' Said Naruto as he continued to leave. Some of the Marines tried to block his way, but a simple squeeze of Jalmack's neck cleared them up easily.
He then continued on his way outside. He distinctly heard someone ordering for the streets to be cleared, but he paid that no mind and just continued walking. He would soon be finished with his mission, then he could return to trying to find a way back home.
As he exited the castle, he wasn't surprised when he saw numerous Marines blocking off the streets from pedestrians. Clearly they didn't want anyone to see a noble getting manhandled, which Naruto didn't care for.
He simply went back into the home of the gods to wait out his last few hours in this fucked up place. Maybe he'd go and see Mjosgard, and also get something to eat since he was a bit hungry as well.
He'd also go and place Jalmack with the others, since his presence wasn't really needed anymore. Naruto had already proven his point, and shown that he had no care or worry about what he did.

Five hours later, Naruto once more stood in the presence of the Five Elders, members of CP-0, and Admiral Kizaru. He looked around at the gathered members of the World Government, and could feel the hatred they had for him.
"So," Started Naruto as he began walking around the room. "Do you have what I asked for, or am I going to get the chance to do some more good for this world?" He asked while casually looking over his nails.
He was really channeling his inner Uchiha right now, which was funny since he technically came from the man who fathered both the Uchiha and Senju/Uzumaki clans. There actually was some shared genetics somewhere deep inside him.
"We have your ransom, but we don't see what we were promised." Said one of the Elders.
"You'll get the nobles once I have my ransom, not before." Replied Naruto in a serious tone. The Elders all gave him annoyed looks, before they nodded to the man known as Rob Lucci.
Rob then went out of the room, and when he returned he was followed by Marines carrying multiple chests. Naruto watched as they piled all of the chest by one another before him.
"Your ransom, as requested." Said the same Elder. Naruto proceeded to approach one of the chests and opened it, to see multiple different types of jewels inside. He then checked all of the others, which all had matching contents.
"It seems that everything is in order, so I guess it's time for me to hold up my part." Said Naruto as he kneeled down. "But first I need to pack all of this up." Finished Naruto.
With that Naruto did a one hand seal and summoned a few clones, which immediately filled the room with smoke. He then quickly pulled out a scroll and sealed all of the chests away while he couldn't be seen, then dispersed the clones.
He could hear everyone panicking, but he had used his technique for a smokescreen since he didn't have any smoke bombs. He made sure they didn't see his clones or his sealing ability.
He quickly stood back up as the smoke finally began to clear. He wasn't surprised when he saw that all of the Marines had their weapons pointed in his direction. "So, I owe you guys a few nobles right?" Asked Naruto with a smile.
Everyone else was simply looking around in confusion, wondering what had happened to the chests with the jewels. Before they could ask anything, Naruto started heading towards the door.
"Come on, let's go get those bastards shall we." Said Naruto as he once more headed towards the exit of the castle. "By the way, you guys have some pretty interesting things in this place, especially the basement." He finished.
Naruto immediately felt the negative emotions in the room rise, especially from the Five Elders. He could guess that the basement was not someplace that they wanted people to know about, which made its contents even more intriguing.
As Naruto left, he was quickly followed by CP-0 and Kizaru, though Naruto was quick to notice their killing intent. He could already guess what was going to happen. The minute they had the Celestial Dragons, they would probably try to kill him.
He wasn't too worried though, since he had expected as much. He literally went against the ruling powers of this world, so of course they wouldn't like that. He would handle that situation when it arose.
Soon they came upon the gate that led into the home of the nobles. Naruto simply walked inside, with the others following behind him. "We're not supposed to enter here." Said Rob, who was apprehensive about their actions.
"Don't worry, it's not like there's anyone that can do anything to you right now." Said Naruto, casually. He then led them back to Jalmack's house, where his clones had left the Celestial Dragons.
He led them inside, and they all quickly noticed the lack of interior decorations. Naruto quickly noticed what their attention was on, and spoke up again. "Oh yeah, I also took anything of value that these bastard had." He said.
Naruto was smiling as he led them down to the basement. They quickly went down the stairs, and found all of the Celestial Dragons in cages, and each looking like they had been put through the ringer.
"What did you do to them?" Asked Kizaru, this being the first time that Naruto had heard the tall man speak.
"I didn't do anything to them. It was the people whose lives they thought they could control that did this. I figured they deserved some actual justice, especially after I decided not to kill the bastards."
The members of CP-0 moved quickly to start freeing the nobles, and Naruto turned around to leave. "Do you really think that we'd just let you walk away after all of this?" Asked Kizaru.
"Not quite. I'm aware that you're all going to try and kill me, and I'm also pretty confident that I can get away." Said Naruto with a wave. With that, he disappeared in a blur, and Kizaru disappeared right after him.
Naruto had finally made it to the street, and was about to activate his cloak so he could escape, but the sudden burst of negative emotions behind him forced him to have to dodge to the left.
The yellow beam that passed by where his head had been a split second ago was all the affirmation he needed that it was a good choice. As he stood straight, he wasn't surprised when he saw the form of Kizaru standing before him.
"You're really fast." Said Naruto, as he looked the man over. He hadn't seen anyone in this world that could move as fast as that, or shoot beams of energy. "How exactly did you do that?" He finished.
"That's easy. I'm a light man, thanks to me eating the Glint-Glint Fruit." Replied Kizaru, which sparked Naruto's curiosity. So, this was one of the powers that a Devil Fruit granted. It was actually quite impressive, all things considered.
"That's… interesting, but is there any way that I can talk you into just letting me go. Trust me when I say that this won't end well for anyone." Said Naruto, trying to get the tall man to let him go.
He knew it was a long shot, but it was worth a try. When he saw the man before him smile apologetically, Naruto knew that it was a wasted effort. When he saw a yellow beam transform into a sword, then he knew to get ready for a fight.
"Fine, then can I at least know who it is that's trying to kill me?" Asked Naruto in annoyance. He would have to come up with a better escape plan.
"My apologies. I am Admiral Kizaru, and you are Naruto, right?" Asked Kizaru, who still sounded extremely relaxed and amused.
"Yep, the name's Naruto, and just know that I'm sorry for this." With that Naruto once more disappeared in a blur, and reappeared behind Kizaru. He immediately threw a haymaker at the man's face, but was caught of guard when Kizaru's face seemed to turn into light, and his fist passed through harmlessly.
Naruto had no time to ponder this as he had to dodge an extremely fast fist that came at his face. As he made some distance between them, he couldn't help but wonder what the hell had just happened.
"His face turned into that same light, and my fist passed right through him Is this what he meant by being a light man?" Wondered Naruto. He had to question if Kizaru could pass through any attack, or just physical ones.
"That's a pretty impressive ability you have there. I haven't come across anyone who could do that." Said Naruto, who was actually a bit impressed.
"Thanks. Now, shall we continue?" Asked Kizaru, then a second later he disappeared again. Naruto quickly rolled forward, and avoided losing his head to Kizaru's light sword. He quickly tried to retaliate again with a kick to the stomach, but again he went right through.
"I'm sorry, but I was given orders to not hold back like I usually do. For that reason, I will use my full speed to fight you." Said Kizaru, which annoyed Naruto a bit. The guy was already fast, so him getting faster would be problematic.
Naruto sucked his teeth in annoyance as he once more tried to jump back to gain some space, but Kizaru didn't let up. Instead he rushed at Naruto with his incredible speed, which Naruto was having a bit of trouble reacting to.
Luckily, the blond had something that increased his senses, and allowed him to react to things moving at high speeds. In a second, Naruto's eyes went from their natural blue, to the horizontal yellow bar pupils.
Thanks to activating his Sage Mode, Naruto began dodging the incoming attacks quite easily. He could sense the attacks coming, and react accordingly, but he still needed an actual way to put this guy down.
He couldn't just stay on the defensive forever, and he could feel Marines, along with the members of CP-0 heading in their direction, which meant more people for him to have to fight.
That meant that he would have to try and either put Kizaru down, or get away before the cavalry arrived. He still didn't know if this guy could pass through his chakra attacks, but he only had one chance to try.
He just needed to make sure that his hit landed, and Kizaru didn't dodge. Luckily, he had something that might be able to distract him, along with a few more tricks up his sleeve if it came to that. With a smirk, Naruto prepared for their final clash.
"Hey, you light bastard, get ready for an ass kicking.." Said Naruto, confidently. This just got a chuckle from Kizaru.
"I fail to see how you're going to win when you can't even touch me, but I admire your bravado." Started Kizaru. "Come then, and let's get this over with." He finished, as he got ready to attack.
With that, the two combatants rushed towards each other. As they got closer to each other, Naruto performed the half ram seal. Instantly, the entire area around them went up in a huge explosion, which caught Kizaru completely by surprise.
As the explosion reached the two, and Kizaru was distracted by said explosion, Naruto activated his full Six Paths Sage Mode. With that he disappeared in a yellow flicker, only to instantly reappear above Kizaru with a Rasengan fully formed.
Naruto instantly brought his attack down on Kizaru's back, and was happy when he felt his attack make contact. "Take this you bastard!" Said Naruto, as his attack slammed Kizaru into the ground while forming a crater and shockwave.
Naruto didn't let up though. Instead, he held his attack for almost a full minute, with the Rasengan drilling into Kizaru's back. When Naruto finally released his technique, he wasn't surprised when he saw that Kizaru's back was mutilated.
He could also swear that he saw his spine, but he couldn't bring himself to feel bad. It was the same as when he had done it to Obito, except Kizaru didn't seem to have a healing factor.
Seeing as his opponent was down, Naruto once more took off. This time he used the full speed that his enhanced state allowed him. He ran until he reached the edge of the Red Line, and simply jumped down.
He fell for a few seconds, and then used his flight ability to take off across the sea, with his destination being Willow Island. While he was flying, he couldn't help but contemplate what had just happened.
He had fought some guy with weird powers, unlike anything he had seen in this world so far. He had also been able to sense the Celestial Dragons trying to escape, and had felt one of their presence dissapear when he had blown up their home.
He knew that he had killed at least one of those bastards in his escape plan, but he didn't care. He hoped that the rest would at least change their ways, and if not he'd handle them, presuming he was still in this world of course.
With those final thoughts, and a mission complete, he headed off to make sure that Sarah and her family were okay, and to give them a gift for all they had done for him so far. He actually found that he couldn't wait to see the family again.
xxXXxx
"And that's my story. After that I returned to Willow Island, and spread out some of my spoils among the townsfolk." Finished Naruto as he stared at the shocked faces of the Straw Hat Pirates.
He was quite amused by the varying shocked looks. "So, any questions?" Asked Naruto in amusement. That question seemed to knock everyone out of their stupor and release the floodgates.
"YOU'RE SO COOL." Shouted the captain.
"WAIT, YOU'RE LOADED?" Shouted the navigator, with Berri signs in her eyes.
"YOU KILLED A CELESTIAL DRAGON!" Screamed Usopp with a look of fear on his face.
"That was amazing." Said Robin with a weird look on her face, almost like she was studying him.
"How does my food compare to their food?" Asked Sanji who, as a chef, wanted to know where he stood against the people who cooked for the nobles. Naruto just laughed at all of the questions being thrown his way.
These guys were such a lively bunch, and Naruto was actually glad that he had taken Rayleigh up on his offer. At least now he had traveling companions that were interesting, and wasn't going around all alone.
"Look, guys, I'll try my best to answer your questions later, but right now I'm a bit tired. Is there anyplace I can go to get some sleep?" Asked Naruto since he was still quite tired.
"Oh, of course." Started Nami, as she walked up and hooked her arm with his. "We can get you a room, for a price of course." She said. From the story she had just heard, the man before her had come into contact with more money than she had ever seen in her life.
What type of thief would she be if she didn't try and get some of it for herself. "Of course, I'm not looking for handouts anyway." Said Naruto. "How does a billion Berri sound for my travel expenses?" He asked.
The members of the Straw Hat crew eye's immediately widened, and Nami was damn near salivating when she heard that. "Of course, I'll get you private room ready for you immediately." Said Nami.
"Hey, how come he gets his own room?" Asked Luffy. Nami just shot the captain an annoyed look, but she knew how to handle him.
"Because he's paying us a billion Berri, and that means a lot of meat for you as long as he's happy." She said. Now it was Luffy who was salivating as he began thinking about how much meat he could get with that much money.
"You're right, let's go get a room ready." Said Luffy in excitement, as he and Nami took off to do just that. Naruto just smiled as he watched the eccentric duo take off.
"It's good to see that you're so relaxed around us." He heard the voice of Robin say.
"Yeah, I actually am. You guys seem nice enough, and I'm sure that traveling with you all will be quite entertaining." He replied, to which Robin nodded in agreement as she crossed her arms under her bust.
"Yes, I'm sure it will. She said as she looked at the blond from the corner of her eyes. She was actually glad he was onboard as well, since she always wanted to question him. "Hey, once you're done resting, I'd like it if we can have a conversation." She requested.
Naruto just looked at her with his signature grin. "Sure, you seem like the type who likes to ask questions, and I'm sure you have some." Said Naruto, as he agreed to talk to her once he woke back up.
Robin nodded in appreciation as Nami and Luffy came back into the room. "We're finished, and your room is right next to us girls. If there's something you need then let me know." Said Nami with a grin.
Naruto nodded at that. "Thank you. Can you show me where the room is?" Asked Naruto, to which Nami nodded as she walked up to him and grabbed his arm, pulling him along with her. "I'll see you guys later, when I get up." He said while waving goodbye to everyone else.
He left to the sound of everyone else's goodbyes. He then looked at the girl that was escorting him to his room. Hey, thanks for all of this." Said Naruto, genuinely. Nami just looked back at him with a smile.
"No problem. As long as I get my money, we won't have any problems." She said, with her same smile still on her face. Naruto just gave the woman a deadpan look. Of course it was all about the money for her.
As they finally reached Naruto's new room, Nami quickly opened the door. Welcome to your new abode." She said, while gesturing grandly at the room. Naruto just took the whole thing in.
While it wasn't very large, it still had a comfortable amount of room. There was also a table and hammock in the room, which was looking extremely inviting to the tired blond right now.
"Thanks, I'll see you later. I'll also have my payment ready." Said the blond, to which the busty navigator nodded.
"Of course, rest well." She said as she turned and began walking off. While normally she'd get her money upfront, she was going to give Naruto the benefit of the doubt for now.
As Naruto watched Nami walking back down the hall, he was contacted by his partner. "Hey, brat, we have company coming. They aren't up to any good, either." Said Kurama, which got Naruto to frown.
He quickly decided to pass this info on to Nami. "Hey, Nami, you guys are going to have company soon. You should all probably get ready for an attack." He said, which caused Nami's eyes to widen.
"Are you sure?" She asked with a bit of worry. Naruto's nod of confirmation was all she needed to quicken her pace to get back to the others and warn them. Naruto just stood at the door while contemplating what he should do.
"Are you going to help them?" Asked Kurama.
"The threat's not that bad, so I'll let them handle it. If they need my help, then I'll intervene." Thought Naruto as he went into his room. He then took his cloak and boots off and jumped up into the hammock.
He still needed to get some sleep, so he would enjoy every bit of rest that he could. "You do know that you probably won't be able to stay here for long, right?" Asked Kurama. Naruto agreed with this.
He wasn't just talking about going back home either. Caribou knew he was onboard and, while the threat of who Naruto was would keep him quiet for a while, Naruto knew it wouldn't last forever.
"Yeah, I know. When the time comes, then I'll leave, but for now I'll just live my life." Said Naruto. Kurama accepted the answer and simply went back to sleep. He knew that Naruto would handle things appropriately.
With that, the two quickly fell into peaceful slumber. Neither would worry about the future, and would just live their lives one day at a time. Whatever happened, happened, and they would handle them when they did.

Alright, that's the end of the chapter. This was actually a bitch to write, but I finally got through it. I know that the Kizaru vs. Naruto fight might not have been too well done, but I actually like it.
Also, I'm working on Naruto/Nami interactions in the coming chapters. I don't want it to seem that Nami is only interested in him because of money or something like that, but they just met.
Once they've been together for a while, then she could really get to see Naruto's personality, which has earned him the attention of many girls in the past. I also have a few plans for the coming arcs, so just wait and see.
With that final note, I'll end things here. So, as always, please read, review, and enjoy.
