Alph's Journey
Prologue
The Story of Razgriz
Razgriz, a name forever immortalized on the day of his birth and on the day he died.
He was called many things. Hero King, God-Emperor, Master of Mankind, or simply the Emperor.
No one knows how he came to be. Many believed he was the first Chief God reincarnated as a mortal. Some believed he was an incubus who was then purified and turned into a hero by the New Chief God, Mikuna. And some believed that he was the result of a hero bloodline that persisted throughout the ages.
But his true origins lie in the age of apostasy. Humanity lost faith in what is now called the Old Order.
Mikuna, the New Chief God, sought to reunify humanity and the other mortal races and preserve them. She looked for any and all solutions she could think of. As she did, she took interest in a human by the name of Armetis. She fell in love, got married, and made love to Artemis in the guise of a human woman before bearing his child. She didn't know what to do, but then it came to her. She was a Goddess bearing a child. Her holy spirit energy was far more pure than that of ordinary spirit energy and it was much more potent. If she put her spirit energy into her child, what would that do?
She decided to put that to the test. She went to the mortal world to find a location where the child could be bathed in more energy.
Mortal Realm
She could hear the cries of her child within the cave underneath the waterfall of this sacred place. It was teeming with energy. A valkyrie by the name of Agava was with her. Mikuna's child had beautiful black hair and blue eyes. Her child looked much like her human lover. Mikuna smiled with joy.
"Congratulations my lady, it's a boy." Agava said.
"Yes… he sure does…" Mikuna said, "What should we name him?"
"Wha—milady, you didn't come up with one?"
"I told you guys to come up with one, didn't I?"
"Yes, you did, but we all had female names. How were we supposed to know it was going to be male?"
"Hm… Razgriz…"
"Huh?"
"Yes… Razgriz shall be his name."
"And I'm sure that he, being born with your blood, will make a great hero."
"You really think so?"
"Why of course I do. It is what we valkyries are for." Agava said, "I'd be honored to watch over him for you."
"Yes… but…"
"Don't worry, I won't let any monster touch him until they kill me first." Agava said.
"Thank you…" Mikuna said, "Please… I'm counting on you to raise him."
"I will."
As he grew, he began to become more aware of his unimaginable power. He grew ever stronger and his training and meditation only made his spirit energy even more refined and powerful. Then on one day, he appeared before humanity and with his incredibly god-like abilities, he drove away the monsters from every village all across the land. And when he did, he became revered as a hero. His prowess for battling monsters and his great leadership earned him the name Hero King.
He had made a pact with four elementals and marched for Lescatie on what would be called The Great Crusade.
His giant army swept through the land, reclaiming lost land from the monsters, defeating every monster that stood in his path.
Then he reached the land of Lescatie and challenged Druella, the Fourth Princess of the Demon Realms to single combat.
Druella found herself with the edge of a sword at her neck. She looked upon the man who was wearing gold armor. Razgriz looked at her with eyes that were filled with fire. He set his sword aside and reached his hand out.
"You're not going to finish me?"
"It is better to negotiate for an agreement to preserve both our species without one encroaching on the freedom of the other?" Razgriz asked.
"What? What are you talking about?"
"I'm saying they're can be peace, but I will not accept any sex-crazed demands, but I will not smite you on the spot either." Razgriz said, "I have dreamed of coexistence, nothing more."
"You dreamed of it?" Druella asked.
"Yes, in due time, if you could control your lust, we could coexist."
"But… I mean… sure, I would want our kind to coexist, but… you can't just expect us to—"
"Are you saying it's impossible?"
"Wha—? NO! I'm not saying that! I… I… it's just… this is so sudden…" Druella said, "I mean… do we really have to change our way of life?"
"It is but a small price to pay." Razgriz said.
"I… I see your point…" Druella said.
An agreement was made between humanity and the monsters. The monsters would learn to control their urges and the humans would no longer have to smite anymore monsters. An age of peace had come.
The New Order of Mikuna rose in what was once a demon realm now purified by Mikuna. Those who were once humans turned monsters were purified back into humans once again. The other races began to be purified by Mikuna's light.
With his victory in Lescatie, he was crowned the God-Emperor of Mankind with the Pope now working alongside him. Humanity's population numbers grew and many believed that there would be peace between humans and monsters.
The God-Emperor was known to have bedded many women and fathered many children. One of these women he had bedded was one he had made his wife, and she gave birth to a son named Alph.
Authors note: don't worry guys. The God-Emperor thing wasn't meant to reference Warhammer. It was to reference the fact that he's technically a demi-god (since he's the son of a literal goddess) and that he became the emperor of the New Order of Man. I'm not mixing it with MGE. I hope this addresses some concerns about it, for I received a review saying MGE and Warhammer shouldn't mix. Have a nice day.
