Chapter 1 – The Spaceship

The Prime Minister was sat in his office drinking a glass of water. He was slowly sipping it whilst looking out of one of his huge, oval windows. He had nothing to be doing and so he liked to lean back on his chair and watch the busy streets of London.

Out of nowhere, a loud horn started playing. This was a shock, what was going on. He looked around outside until he saw it; a large spaceship seemed to be flying above London. The glass fell from his hand and water splattered the bottom of his trousers. He could not believe what he was seeing. The spaceship tore through Big Ben and continued for a short while before crashing into the Thames. He ran out of his office to see if anyone else saw what happened. Everyone had run outside to point and shout at the sky. 10 Downing Street wasn't particularly busy at this time of year, so the crowd outside was only about 5 people and a security guard.

He found the panic outside was scaring him so he went for a walk back to his office on the top floor. There was an elevator at the back of the building and only one main staircase in the building itself. As his heavy, sweaty feet bounced from step to step, he started to feel dizzy. As soon as he reached his desk he just collapsed into his chair which was slightly damp from his shattered glass.

As his eyes flittered shut he thought he saw someone, a woman?
