BECA'S SISTER

Beca has a sister she never talked about because they hated each other. The sister comes to visit and hits on Chloe. Beca is not happy about it. What happens when Chloe takes a liking to Beca's sister? Will Beca finally confess her feelings for Chloe before it's too late?

Beca Mitchell quickly walked down the sidewalk toward her crappy one-room apartment that she shared with two of her fellow former Bellas. Fat Amy had moved back to Australia "for a while," and Beca and Chloe were planning to have a quiet night in, drinking wine and binging on whatever they could find on Netflix. Each step that took her closer to spending the evening with Chloe brightened her mood and put a smile on her face.

Beca was running late, having to stay to finish a track she needed to have ready for tomorrow. She didn't want to wait for the elevator and took the stairs two at a time. She made it to her door and inserted the key, smiling as she opened it.

"Honey, I'm-" Beca's smile dropped, and she stopped short when she entered the apartment to see her sister, Lindsay, lounging on her side of the pullout bed.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Beca asked, throwing down her bag.

"Beca!" Chloe admonished, looking angry. "That's no way to speak to your sister. The sister I knew nothing about. The sister you've had for the entire seven years I've known you, and this is the first I'm hearing about her. Why is that?"

"Because she hates me," Lindsay answered with a smirk. "Always has and probably always will. Isn't that right, little sis."

"What do you want, Lindsay?" Beca asked.

Beca knew Lindsay was trying to bait her, and she wasn't biting.

"I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop in on my little sister," Lindsay said, getting off the bed to face Beca. "Congratulate her on graduating college."

"That was over a year ago," Beca said. "How do you even know where I live?"

"Dad told me," Lindsay said. "Well, it was actually Sheila who told me. She wants us to kiss and make up."

"Fuck you," Beca said.

"Beca!" Chloe admonished again.

"What?!" said with more intensity than she had wanted. She took a deep breath and looked at Chloe. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you."

"Whatever," Chloe said, still angry at Beca. "Do you plan to tell me why I didn't know you have a sister?"

"Because we hate each other," Beca said. "She wasn't wrong about that."

"Why do you hate each other?" Chloe asked, her brows furrowed.

Chloe had two sisters and adored both of them. She couldn't fathom either of them doing anything that would make her hate them.

"Can we talk about that later?" Beca asked. At Chloe's slight nod, Beca turned to Lindsay. "Get the fuck out," she said through gritted teeth. "You do nothing but cause trouble every time you come around me, and I'm not in the mood for you."

"Sheesh, Beca," Lindsay said. "I haven't seen you in like five years, and this is the welcome I get?"

"I've got nothing to say to you," Beca said.

Lindsay pouted and looked at Chloe. "She always could hold a grudge," Lindsay said and winked at Chloe, causing the redhead to blush.

"Oh, Hell No!" Beca said. "You leave Chloe alone. She's my best friend, and I'm not going to stand by and let you fuck her up like you did my other friends."

"Beca, I'm a big girl," Chloe said. "I can take care of myself."

"You don't know her like I do, Chlo," Beca said. "She'll charm her way in and then break your heart. It's what she does. Especially if she knows I care about someone."

"I've changed, Beca," Lindsay said. "I'm not the same Lindsay."

"Yes, you are," Beca said. "You tried to pull the same I'm not the same Lindsay shit five years ago, and I bought it. Do you remember how that went? Because I do.

"Oh, my God, get over yourself already. If I could take her away from you that easily, she wasn't that into you," Lindsay yelled. She swallowed and looked at Chloe.

"What?" Chloe asked, looking at Lindsay and then at Beca. "Beca, what is she talking about?"

Beca swallowed and glared at Lindsay. Lindsay smirked at her and turned to Chloe with a concerned look on her face.

"I'm sorry, Chloe," Lindsay said softly. "I didn't come here to fight with Beca, and I'm sorry you had to see that. I came here because I miss my little sister."

Chloe reached out and squeezed Lindsay's hand. Beca was seething. "Are you buying this shit?" Beca asked, looking at Chloe. "She's toxic, and I don't want her here."

"Beca, she seems sincere," Chloe said, causing Beca to scoff. "Why don't you two go to the coffee shop and talk? I think it would do you some good."

"I'm not going-"

"That sounds like a great idea," Lindsay said, pulling Chloe into a hug. Lindsay looked over Chloe's shoulder and winked at Beca with a smug smile. Lindsay pulled back from the embrace, kissing Chloe on the corner of her mouth. She looked Chloe up and down. "You are so sweet. And might I add, sexy hot?"

Chloe blushed, and Beca had enough. She grabbed Lindsay by the arm and dragged her out of the apartment, saying, "Let's get a cup of coffee."

Chloe wasn't sure what to make of Lindsay. She had Chloe blushing twice now, and Chloe Beale does not blush. Chloe Beale makes other people blush. Her fingertips went to the corner of her mouth, where Lindsay had kissed her. She smiled because she felt tingly from the simple kiss, and it felt nice.

"It doesn't hurt that she's kind of sexy hot, too," Chloe thought.

~~ Beca's Sister ~~

As soon as Beca and Lindsay made it outside, Beca shoved Lindsay away by the arm.

"Stay the fuck away from Chloe!" Beca yelled. "She is not someone for you to play with."

"My, my, my," Lindsay said, looking at Beca's face. "Being a bit overprotective, aren't we? Why is that, little sis?" Lindsay narrowed her eyes and stared at Beca. Beca schooled her features, trying not to react to anything Lindsay might say. "Oh, my God!" Lindsay said with a scornful laugh. "You're in love with her! This is going to be more fun than I thought."

Beca's eyes went wide. How did Lindsay figure that out? "Just leave Chloe alone, Lindsay. Please?"

"This is an interesting development," Lindsay said.

"Please, Lindsay. I've never asked you for anything, but I'm begging you now," Beca said as tears formed in her eyes. "Don't hurt her just to hurt me."

"Sorry, Beca, but I might just have to stick around to see where this might go," Lindsay said, smirking. "As soon as I saw Chloe when she opened the door, I felt an instant connection. And, if the way she reacted to that little kiss on the corner of her mouth, I think she feels it, too."

"Why are you like this?" Beca asked. "Why do you feel the need to hurt the people I care about?"

"Why?" Lindsay snorted. "Because I got shoved aside as soon as precious little Beca was born," Lindsay said with a scowl. "I had everything first, and then you came along, and mom and dad took my stuff, stuff I loved, and gave it to you. So, I've made it my life's mission to take things that you care about away from you, like the things I cared about were taken away from me. In case you haven't noticed, I don't like to share."

Beca swallowed and watched Lindsay walk away to hail a cab. "I hope to see you soon, Beca," Lindsay said as she climbed into the cab. She threw a wink over her shoulder as she added, "And I'll definitely be seeing a lot more of Chloe."

Beca stood, shaking with anger and frustration as she heard Lindsay laughing as she got into the cab. Beca let her shoulders droop in resignation and wiped away the tears from her face. She slowly put one foot in front of the other and made her way up to the apartment.

Beca stood outside the apartment door with her hand on the doorknob. She took in a deep breath and let it out before turning the knob and walking into the apartment.

It was no surprise to Beca to see Chloe standing with her arms crossed over her chest and a disappointed look on her face.

"What's going on with you?" Chloe asked. "Why haven't I heard of Lindsay before now?"

"In case you couldn't tell," Beca said. "We don't get along."

"Why?" Chloe asked, genuinely perplexed. "What happened between you two. What is your issue with her?"

Beca said. "The bigger question is, what is her issue with me? Lindsay has hated me since the day I was born. She was an only child until I came along. She had four years alone with my parents. Four years of getting everything she wanted. Four years of not having to share anything with anyone. And, then I came along, and suddenly she had to share everything. Getting whatever she wanted stopped because I needed things. My parents gave me Lindsay's old toys, and she didn't like that. I have a small scar on the back of my neck, where she threw one of her toys at me because she didn't want me to have it. I wasn't even a year old when it happened."

"Sisters fighting when they're young is a part of life," Chloe said. "My sisters and I fought all the time. Why can't you make amends and let bygones be bygones."

"Don't you think I tried?" Beca asked, looking at Chloe. "She doesn't want to make amends. She wants to make my life miserable and will do anything to see that happen. Including hurting the people I care about."

"I can't believe that," Chloe said, shaking her head.

"Why?" Beca asked. "Because you spent a couple of hours with her? I've spent my entire life trying to stay away from her so that I didn't get hurt. No matter where I was, no matter what I did, she always found a way to find me and cause trouble for me and whoever I was with."

"You haven't seen her in five years," Chloe said. "Maybe she's changed. Maybe she isn't the same Lindsay you remember from five years ago. Maybe you could try and get to know this Lindsay. She might surprise you."

"I do know her," Beca said. "And I know what she's capable of."

"You're being ridiculous, Beca. Lindsay was nice and charming and never said a bad word about you while we were waiting for you to come home," Chloe said. "What is your real problem with her?"

"Oh, my God," Beca said, rubbing her eyes. "You like her. Please tell me you aren't falling for her bullshit. That you aren't falling for her."

"So, what if I do like her?" Chloe asked, glaring at Beca with her arms crossed over her chest.

"She's toxic," Beca said, her voice rising. "How many times do I have to say it before you get it through your head that she's bad news?"

"I don't know what you're talking about. The girl that just left here was nothing but sweet and kind to me while we waited for you."

Beca was shaking her head as she started pacing. "This is what she does," Beca said. "She comes in and stirs up trouble and then leaves a path of destruction and heartache behind her."

"What trouble?" Chloe asked, getting frustrated. "You're the one who started the trouble. Telling her to leave as soon as you saw her. I think you owe Lindsay and me an apology for the way you behaved."

"Yeah, well, I don't think I owe either one of you anything," Beca said, wiping her hands down her face. "I'm going to bed." She took a step toward their foldout bed and quickly turned toward Amy's bed. "I'll sleep in Amy's bed."

"That's probably a good idea," Chloe said as she grabbed her sleep clothes from under her pillow.

Despite having a bed to herself for the first time in over a year, Beca couldn't sleep. She tossed and turned all night, finally getting out of bed just before her alarm went off. She was exhausted and knew she was going to have a hellacious headache all day. She looked over at Chloe, who was still asleep. Beca let out a tired sigh and got up to get in the shower.

Chloe woke when her alarm went off to hear the shower running and knew Beca was already up. Chloe was exhausted. She had tossed and turned most of the night as their argument replayed in her head. She sat up on the bed and ran a hand through her hair. Chloe let out a heavy sigh and got up to make coffee so it would be ready when Beca got out of the shower.

Beca came out of the bathroom and was surprised to see a cup of coffee sitting on the table across from Chloe, who was sipping from a second cup; Beca realized Chloe had made a cup for her.

"Thanks," Beca mumbled, taking the coffee in her hands.

"You're welcome," Chloe responded, looking down into her coffee.

"Look, Beca," Chloe started at the same time, Beca said, "Chloe, I'm sorry."

Beca looked down and said, "Go ahead."

Chloe sighed and said, "I'm sorry we fought."

"I'm sorry we fought, too," Beca said.

"I, um, know you said that Lindsay was upset because she didn't like having a baby sister," Chloe said. "But, I can tell there's something more. Something you're not telling me. What is it?"

Beca sighed for what felt like the thousandth time since the night before.

"Lindsay is bi, like me, and has twice stolen my girlfriend from me," Beca said. "The first time, I was fourteen and had finally come to terms with being bi the year before. Megan was fifteen and also one of my best friends when we started dating. Lindsay decided she wanted Megan, but only because she was my girlfriend. Lindsay started getting friendly with Megan and complimenting her on everything and hugging her all the time. She would also invite herself to hang out with us. By the time I realized what Lindsay was doing, Megan had broken up with me for Lindsay. I was heartbroken, but I guess I wasn't in enough pain over the breakup for Lindsay. One day after school, I came home and walked in on Lindsay, having sex with Megan. Lindsay had taken Megan to my room, knowing I would be coming home from school and would catch them. I can't even explain how much pain that caused me. I guess my pain was finally enough for Lindsay because she broke up with Megan the next day. Two months later, she turned eighteen and left to go live with my dad."

"I'm so sorry, Beca," Chloe said, as Beca wiped a tear from her cheek.

"The second time was when I came to Barden. I was staying with my dad until I could move into my dorm when I met this girl, and I liked her. But nothing ever came of it because Lindsay swooped in, and the girl stopped talking to me. Lindsay made sure to bring her to my dad's house while I was there. When I didn't react to her being there with Lindsay, Lindsay dumped her. This is why I don't want her around you," Beca said. "She'll worm her way in and then leave you heartbroken. And I can't bear to see her do that to you or anyone else."

"I'm a big girl, Beca," Chloe said. "I can handle myself."

"No, you can't. Trust me, Chloe, you've never dealt with someone like Lindsay," Beca said. "Promise me that you'll send her away if she comes back here."

"Beca," Chloe said.

"Promise me, Chloe! Please?"

"Okay, I promise."

"Thank you," Beca said. "I need to get to work. I'll see you later."

"See you later," Chloe called after Beca as she left.

~~ Beca's Sister ~~

Beca was on her way home, thinking about the conversation she and Chloe had that morning. She was smiling as she made her way to their apartment, glad they had resolved the whole Lindsay issue. Beca opened the door, and her eyes widened. Beca was taken back to when she was fourteen and walked in on her girlfriend and Lindsay having sex in her bed. Only, this time it was Chloe and Lindsay in a full make-out session on her bed.

Beca watched as Lindsay moved her hands down Chloe's back until she had her hands on Chloe's ass. Beca saw Lindsay squeeze Chloe's ass and pull her closer. She heard Chloe moan. The moan brought Beca out of her stupor, and she slammed the door, causing her best friend and sister to break apart. Lindsay looked over at Beca with a smug smile. It took everything Beca had in her not to go over and wipe that smile off Linday's face.

"Welcome home, little sis," Lindsay said.

"B-Beca, it's not what it looks like," Chloe stuttered, reaching out to Beca to try and pull her into a hug. Beca put up her hands to stop Chloe from touching her and pushed her away.

Beca set her sights on Lindsay, and snarled, "Get the fuck out."

Lindsay laughed and looked at Chloe. Chloe looked at the ground and wouldn't look at Beca or Lindsay.

"Fine, I'll go since it looks like you two need to talk."

Beca watched as Lindsay walked over to Chloe and pulled her into a kiss before leaving. Beca had to give Chloe some credit when she saw Chloe trying to push Lindsay away from her.

"Beca, it's not what you think," Chloe said as soon as Lindsay left the apartment.

Beca pushed past Chloe and stomped over to the closet and dragged out her duffel bag. She opened the drawers to the dresser and started throwing her things into the bag.

"What are you doing?" Chloe asked, grabbing Beca's arm.

"I'm leaving," Beca said.

"Why?" Chloe choked out.

Beca turned to face Chloe. "Why? Are you fucking serious? You promised me you'd send her away if she showed up here again. Not only did you break that promise, but you were also practically fucking her in my bed. I've been down this road before, and I'm not going down it again. She already has you in her web, and I can't be around to watch her break you. She wants me to see her cause you pain, but I'm not sticking around for the show."

Beca looked at Chloe with tears in her eyes, and her shoulders slumped in defeat. "You're my best friend, Chlo, and I thought you'd at least listen to what I said about her. But, Lindsay has already gotten to you, and I can't stop what I know is going to happen to you."

"Lindsay hasn't gotten to me," Chloe said.

"Really?" Beca said, stepping closer to Chloe and staring into her eyes. "What do you call what I walked in on? And, how far would you have gone if I hadn't walked in on you? She's got you right where she wants you, Chloe, and you don't even know it."

Chloe's mouth opened and closed, trying to find the words to get Beca to stay. Beca waited, but when Chloe didn't say anything, she started packing again.

"I don't know where I'm going," Beca said as she threw the last item into her bag. "But, I'll make arrangements to get the rest of my stuff once I do. Just make sure Lindsay isn't here when I come back for my stuff."

"Beca," Chloe said with tears in her eyes. "Please don't go."

Beca started to say something when there was a knock on the door. Chloe wiped her face and went to answer.

As soon as Chloe opened the door, Lindsay wrapped her arms around Chloe's waist and pushed her back into the room. Beca jumped back in surprise but felt her heart shatter even more when she saw Lindsay reach up and grab Chloe's face in both her hands and kiss her. Beca heard a cross between a moan and a whimper escape from Chloe's mouth as Chloe fell into Lindsay and started kissing her back. Beca couldn't take it anymore. She shoved Chloe and Lindsay away from the door, breaking their kiss. Beca heard Chloe mutter "Shit!" as she walked out the door, slamming it behind her.

Beca wiped the tears from her eyes as she stormed down the hall away from the apartment. Away from Chloe. Away from Lindsay. Away from having to see Chloe with Lindsay. Away from having to see Lindsay hurt Chloe.

"Beca!" Chloe yelled after her. Beca didn't stop. Chloe started out the door to go after Beca when she was pulled back into the apartment by the arm.

"Let her go," Lindsay said. "Then we can get back to what we were doing."

Lindsay leaned in to kiss Chloe.

Chloe yelled, "No," pushing Lindsay away from her. "I'm going after Beca." Lindsay grabbed Chloe's arm again, tightening her grip as she pulled Chloe to her, so they were standing almost nose to nose.

"I said, let her go," Lindsay said through clenched teeth. "You are mine now. You will not call her. You will not text her. You will not try to see her. Beca's gone, I won, and you are mine now." She pulled Chloe closer and growled. "And I don't like to share. Especially with Beca. Do you understand?"

Chloe had never been so frightened in her life. She merely nodded, and Lindsay released her. Chloe rubbed her arm, where Lindsay had grabbed her, knowing there would be a bruise there tomorrow.

"Good," Lindsay said.

"Oh, my God! What have I done?" Chloe thought as she ran a hand through her hair.

~~ Beca's Sister ~~

Three months later, Aubrey was sitting in her living room with Stacie when her phone rang. She picked it up but didn't recognize the number.

"Hello?" Aubrey answered.

"Aubrey?" the voice said.

Aubrey reached out and grasped Stacie's arm, causing Stacie to look at Aubrey with furrowed brows.

"Beca?" Aubrey responded, causing Stacie to sit up. "Is this really you?"

"Um, yeah," Beca said. "I know I've been off the grid for a few months, but I had to do it."

"What the Hell, Beca?" Aubrey yelled. "Where are you? No one has seen or heard from you for three months. We've been going out of our minds."

"I know, I know," Beca said. "Are you home?"

"Yes, why?" Aubrey asked. "Wait. Are you in Atlanta right now?"

"Yes, I am," Beca said. "And I need your help."

"What is she saying?" Stacie whispered.

"She's in Atlanta, and she needs my help," Aubre said.

"Tell her to get her ass over here right now," Stacie said.

"Beca,-" Aubrey said into the phone.

"I heard," Beca said. "I'm on my way and should be there in about twenty minutes. I need to explain a few things to you both."

Aubrey stood at the front door of the home she shared with Stacie, waiting for Beca.

"Stacie, she's here," Aubrey called out when she saw a car stop in front of the house.

Beca got out of the car and saw Aubrey and Stacie standing in the doorway. She took in a deep breath and made her way to the door.

"Hey," Beca said softly once she was standing in front of Aubrey.

Aubrey pulled Beca into a hug. They stood that way for a moment before Aubrey pulled back, looking at Beca.

"Let's go inside," Aubrey said.

Beca followed Aubrey and Stacie inside. She turned to face the couple.

"I want to explain everything," Beca said. "But I need you to promise you won't interrupt and will let me get through everything before you start asking questions. Can you do that for me, please?

They looked at Beca and nodded. "Go ahead, Beca," Aubrey said.

Beca started talking. She told them about her sister Lindsay and everything that happened when she walked in to find her sitting with Chloe when she got home from work. She continued to tell them about walking in on Chloe and Lindsay making out, as well as what had happened when the sisters were younger.

Aubrey and Stacie kept their promise and did not interrupt. Beca could tell they had questions, and she was ready to answer them, but she had a question of her own.

"Have you seen or talked to Chloe since I left?"

Aubrey and Stacie shared a look. "I've talked to her once. Chloe was upset that you left, and she said it was all her fault. That you had tried to warn her about Lindsay and she didn't listen. Beca, Lindsay is emotionally abusive to Chloe, and Chloe thinks she deserves it because she drove you away. I'm worried because I haven't been able to reach Chloe for two months."

"Lindsay knew I cared about Chloe," Beca said. "And, I got angry and hurt when Chloe kissed her and ignored everything I told her about Lindsay. I mainly left because I thought Lindsay would leave Chloe alone if I weren't around." Beca stood. "I've been watching them, to see how things were going, and Chloe seemed fine. Then last week, I heard them arguing out in front of the apartment building and realized that maybe Chloe wasn't fine. I needed to get her away from Lindsay, but knew I couldn't do it on my own. So, I came here to enlist your help. We need to get to New York as soon as possible. Can you go with me? I'm going to need your help to get Chloe out of there."

"Of course, we'll go with you," Aubrey said.

"I'm in," Stacie said. "But, promise me one thing, Beca."

"What's that?" Beca asked.

"Promise me that, sister or not, you'll go all badass Beca Mitchell on Lindsay's ass," Stacie said.

"That's the easiest promise I'll ever make," Beca responded.

~~ Beca's Sister ~~

The next day, Beca, Stacie, and Aubrey were waiting at the baggage claim for their luggage when Beca started getting anxious.

"Are you okay, Beca?" Stacie asked.

"Yes, no, I don't know," Beca said, pacing back and forth in front of Stacie and Aubrey. "What if I'm wrong, and things are going great between Chloe and Lindsay? And what if Chloe is happy? The argument I heard could have been a one-time thing. She was really into that kiss she shared with Lindsay before I left. I can't mess it up for her if she's happy. All I want is for Chloe to be happy. That's all I've ever wanted."

"Beca, she's not happy," Aubrey said. "The one time I did speak with her, she sounded depressed. She said Lindsay wouldn't allow her to contact anyone. Me, the Bellas, and especially you. Chloe sounded scared. I should have done something when she stopped talking to us."

"That was probably Lindsay's doing," Beca said. "She likes to be in control of every aspect of her relationships."

"You need to get Chloe away from Lindsay," Aubrey said. "I fear for Chloe if she stays there."

"Brey's right, Beca," Stacie said. "You'll need to admit your feelings for Chloe if you're serious about getting Chloe away and to someplace safe."

Beca stopped pacing and looked at Stacie with wide eyes. "Um, what do you mean? Admit my feelings?"

"Beca, now is not the time to chicken out, or pretend you don't know what we're talking about," Aubrey said. "You love Chloe. Chloe loves you. You need to, how did you put it, sack up, dude, and get your girl away from the toxic relationship she thinks she deserves and into a relationship she does deserve - with you."

"You don't think I'm messing things up by helping Chloe?"

"No, we don't," Stacie said emphatically.

~~ Beca's Sister ~~

Chloe sat, staring at the wall as Lindsay got everything she needed to take a shower.

"Care to join me?" Lindsay asked Chloe with a smirk.

"The answer is no, the same as it's been the last hundred times you asked," Chloe responded.

Lindsay laughed and went into the bathroom. As soon as Chloe heard the shower running, she jumped up and looked everywhere for her phone. Lindsay would hide it so Chloe couldn't call anyone. Chloe wanted, no needed, to call Aubrey to come help her move out of the apartment.

Despite her best efforts, Chloe couldn't find her phone. She looked toward the bathroom door and sighed. It made sense that Lindsay would take the phone in the bathroom with her. Chloe bit her lip and suddenly smiled. She had been planning her escape for a while now but was afraid of what Lindsay would do if she caught her leaving. Now, with Lindsay in the shower, Chloe knew she had a limited window of time, but this was her chance. Chloe dropped to her knees by the bed and reached under it to grab the suitcase she had packed three days ago. That was the day she had decided that if she couldn't make Lindsay leave, then she would. She moved quickly when she heard the shower stop, and ran to the door, running out and down the hallway to the elevator, not looking back. She heard Lindsay call her name and panicked, running through the door to the stairwell and down the stairs as fast as she could. She let out a gasp when she heard the door to her floor slam against the wall and feet pounding down the stairs behind her. She didn't look back and kept running. She exited the stairwell into the lobby and hurried through the door to the street.

"Chloe!" a voice called out, but it came from in front of her, not behind her.

Chloe looked around and saw Aubrey getting out of a car.

"Brey!" Chloe yelled and started toward her best friend.

Chloe let out a scream when she was suddenly jerked back from behind by her hair. She threw a hand up, trying to free herself from Lindsay's grasp.

"Chloe!" another voice called out, causing Chloe to stop struggling as she looked to see Beca charging toward them.

"Beca?" Chloe whispered.

Suddenly, Lindsay was pulled off her, and Chloe gasped when she saw Beca punch Lindsay in the face. Lindsay fell to the ground, and Beca straddled her and started throwing more punches. Stacie and Aubrey caught up to Beca and tried to pull her off Lindsay.

"Beca, stop!" Stacie yelled as she grabbed Beca around the waist and pulled her off Lindsay.

Lindsay moaned and rolled over, spitting blood from her mouth. She gave Beca a bloody smile.

"You just bought yourself a trip to jail," Lindsay said, spitting more blood before standing to face Beca.

Beca struggled against Stacie, trying to get at Lindsay again.

"Calm down," Stacie hissed, barely managing to keep her hold on Beca.

Beca was breathing heavily but finally calmed down. When she did, she saw Aubrey holding Chloe as tears streamed down the redhead's face.

"Chloe," Beca said as the fight left her. "Let me go, Stacie. I'm good."

Stacie looked at Aubrey, and seeing the blonde nod, she slowly let Beca go, still at the ready if she needed to pull her back again.

Beca hesitantly reached a hand out to Chloe only to pull it back. Chloe surprised Beca when she suddenly pulled away from Aubrey and threw herself into Beca's arms. Beca put her arms around Chloe and held onto her, squeezing tightly and whispering, "Are you okay?"

"I am now," Chloe whispered back. "I'm sorry, Beca. I should have listened to you and kicked Lindsay out the minute I saw her at the door that day."

"I'm sorry, too," Beca said. "I knew she was going to hurt you and thought if I weren't around, she'd just leave. I should have known better." Beca pulled back from the hug and looked at Chloe. "Look, Chloe, I um, I want to, um."

Beca pulled back from Chloe when she heard Lindsay laughing.

"Are you really that much of a coward that you can't tell her?" Lindsay asked.

Beca's face went pale as Chloe looked at her with a raised brow.

"Now's your chance, Beca," Stacie whispered loudly. "Tell her."

"Tell me what?" Chloe asked, looking at Beca.

Beca opened and closed her mouth a few times, but no words came out.

"That she's in love with you," Lindsay blurted out, looking at Chloe. She turned to Beca and added, "You're pathetic."

"Beca?" Chloe said, turning Beca's head to look at her. "Is that true?"

"Yeah," Beca said quietly. "I've been in love with you for a while."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Chloe asked, putting a hand on Beca's cheek.

"I was afraid," Beca said as she started crying. "Afraid it would change what we had. I can't lose you, Chloe."

"You will never lose me, Beca," Chloe said as she kissed Beca. "I've loved you for a while, too. I didn't say anything because I was afraid to lose you. These past three months without you have been Hell."

Beca didn't say anything. She leaned in and kissed Chloe again. Chloe let out a small sob, causing Beca to pull Chloe into another hug.

"Let's go upstairs," Beca said.

"Um, what are you going to do about Lindsay?" Stacie asked.

"Don't worry, I'm leaving," Lindsay said. "I'm done with these two."

Lindsay used her shirt to wipe the blood off her face and just walked away. Beca and Chloe watched her go.

"Good riddance," Aubrey called after Lindsay.

Beca laughed and pulled Chloe into another kiss. Chloe grabbed Beca's shirt and pulled her closer, deepening the kiss.

Question for whoever reads this: When I read or write a fic, I play out scenes in my head. It's easy when using the characters from the movie, but when there's a new character added to the group (like Beca's sister in this fic), I picture an actor/actress to be that character. I did have a particular actress in my head when I 'created' Lindsay, and was just curious to know who you would picture as Lindsay. I would be interested to see if anyone pictured the same actress I did.

Thank you for reading.
