I do not own Duck Tales.
Enjoy!
Do you know what sucked?
Living in a world with Scrooge McDuck and the richest people ready to snap up anything that would make them more famous.
She was Lily Volture, the person that was always getting the dry bones of everything.
If she went on an adventure, there was a high chance somebody had already taken the treasure and she just wasted time and resources.
However, there was the occasional treasure here and there.
However, her luck became a hundred times worse when Scrooge McDuck got back into the game with a new crew and his adventurous nephews alongside him.
Those brats were fast.
She hadn't found anything in a week and her disposal income was getting dangerously low.
Anybody would have retired and got a low-level desk job because at least that guaranteed pay but that would mean admitting defeat and becoming another person that left no impact on the world.
For once, she would like to find something that hadn't been uncovered yet, she wanted it to have a crazy high enough value so her name will be world-renowned.
She sat down on a chair and sighed another failed adventure.
Damn the Duck family.
She looked up at the ceiling that had room for the sky and just sat there.
Maybe, it really was time to accept that she had no luck when it came to grabbing artefacts?
The moon soon rose and she just stared at it.
It was bright and her ceiling was shining.
Wait.
Shining?
She got up and looked down, she saw the design on her roof reflected onto her ground and it revealed loose floorboards.
Wait.
She crouched down and began to lift, the floorboards revealed a tunnel.
How?
How did she not know a tunnel was under her house?
And then she remembered.
When was the last time she stayed late in her own house? She couldn't remember.
She had been too busy trying to get out of the house to notice anything about the house.
She picked up her adventure backpack and took out a flashlight before venturing down the tunnel.
The tunnel she entered was made from mud however it was well constructed despite the spiders and insects around.
She must have walked for an hour before getting into a large place.
And what a sight.
It was a city!
Her mouth dropped, when she saw the very clear buildings made from mud and many other things, however, the streets were empty.
There was no sound.
This was a dead city.
Whoever built this, was either long since dead or they had moved up to the surface.
Perhaps, they realised not seeing the sun blowed?
She turned when she saw writing on the walls, however, she couldn't read it, it wasn't any language she had come across before.
An ancient race of mole people perhaps?
She walked through the old streets and still found nobody and then saw something that looked interesting.
She opened the door and her mouth opened.
"Oh, my lord," she said.
Treasure.
So much treasure!
The fact that it was centuries old made it that much more valuable.
She had never seen so many precious jewels and gold all in one place in her life, the people who were here before could really sniff out priceless stuff.
She wanted to swim in it like Scrooge McDuck but she didn't have the muscles to survive it.
So she began to grab the gold and shove it into her bag.
This is what she was missing.
That rush.
And that's when she heard it.
A voice.
Something was crying.
Her body moved before her mind processed what was happening.
Wait.
No.
It was very likely a trap.
However, her body no longer listened to her and she found herself confronting a huge crystal in a place that had hardly any gold.
Something was swirling inside.
No.
Turn back, me! She yelled in her mind.
However, she had sealed her fate the moment she decided to steal from this place.
Her hands were forced to touch it and then everything went black for her.
Something took over her body and it smiled.
Descendants of the Mud come to me. It said.
The people who used to live here had actually gone to the surface and had children with those one top.
Those children had children, and their children had children.
This happened many times over where the blood could have vanished but it was still there and dormant.
And now it had awakened.
#Duckburge#
It was day time when some people suddenly dropped what they were doing and their eyes glowed white.
And then they began walking.
The richest duck in the world, sighed as he sat in traffic.
The only thing that can stop his driver was a traffic jam.
To make matters worse, he was stuck with chatty Launchpad for who knows how long.
Wait.
The duck had gone quiet.
Suddenly the Duck opened the door.
"Launchpad, what are you-" Scrooge began, but the duck walked out of the vehicle and began to walk.
Scrooge finally saw the full picture.
And a hundred people were walking on the street.
Meanwhile at the same time billionaire Mark Beaks was about to announce his latest invention when suddenly his eyes glowed white.
This happened in front of cameras and the press.
The bird stopped talking and then he began to walk, he couldn't hear anything and joined those on the road, everybody turned to see people walking on the streets who were showing the same thing.
This was happening all over the world.
Those who were quick and had cameras began to stream this.
Thanks to the magic of the internet, the world became of this strangeness before the news caught on to this.
The crowd got to a certain point and those at the front transformed into a beast with large claws and began to dig into the ground, the others followed behind them.
Those who weren't dependent tried to follow but were scared away by their fellow birds showing sharp furious teeth.
And if they weren't scared off, they were thrown out.
And those who went into the hole last, changed into a monster and covered the hole as they went in.
Every group began to arrive at the city underneath, even if it would take them days.
In the middle of the city, a female duck explorer stood.
Yes.
Come to me the descendants of mud.
But the owner of the body wasn't dead.
She was alive and kicking.
The spirit was grabbed from behind and wrestled.
"Bitch! Did you actually think I'll let you take over my body?!" Lily said.
It's was the most valuable thing she had.
However, the spirit just laughed and said. "Interesting person. Fine have your body back. You can deal with them"
Them?
Lily came back to her senses and breathed a sigh of relief, however that only lasted a few seconds because then she saw the crowd below her.
The crowd saw her.
They then got on their knees in a bow while more arrived.
She was stunned.
What were all these people doing here?
Wait a minute.
She squinted her eyes.
Was that Mark Beaks?
It was indeed the duck and then she saw more people arriving.
This is what the spirit meant.
She caused this.
She was in trouble.
Somebody, who did not daring look her in the eyes said. "How can we serve you, our Queen?"
Our Queen?
Oh, she was in so much trouble.
Wait.
Perhaps, she could send them back?
She cleared her voice and said. "That was a false alarm. Please go back to where you came from."
Silence.
Did it work?
"We will obey, but who will stay behind to protect you, our Queen?" Said the person.
"I can defend myself. I have no need for a bodyguard" she said.
No need?
"Our Queen, we know your very strong but we would feel safer if you were accompanied everywhere you want," the person said, before saying. "And I don't think any of us remember where we came from"
What?
Her eyes were huge.
Her situation went from reversible to irreversible.
"Is that true?" She said.
However, nobody spoke up, they indeed did not remember where they came from, only that they need to get to the city and protect the Queen.
Great, she couldn't even send them back, they may even die out there because they were so clueless.
"Alright stay here and steal food from above if you have to," she said. "I'm going to rest in one of the houses"
She did not feel like walking for an hour to get back.
Then she saw their eyes and sighed.
"You" she pointed to Launchpad McQuack. "Come guard me"
"It would be an honour, my Queen," he said, before marching ahead of her before bouncing with excitement.
Fantastic.
However she was sure, when they were stable enough to get to the surface and go to the police for their identities, this would all blow over.
However, she was wrong.
The world was going to need their firepower.
A few days later, people from the moon attacked Earth.
And scene!
