"Are you sure he's ready to come back?"
After a week of recuperating in Vermont with Olivia, Fitz was back to his normal state. He still didn't remember the one week since Olivia's return but got all the information he needed to act as though he did. Dressed in his suit with Peter Caldwell beside him, Cyrus and Olivia followed behind them to the Oval.
"I'm positive, Cyrus. I would never allow him to come back if he wasn't ready. He's ready. It's been a week and he is doing perfectly. Derek is not concerned with anything, so why are you?" she asked stopping before going into the Oval.
"I'm not concerned. I'm glad he's back and we can get back to business but I'm just triple checking on his condition."
"My condition," Fitz turned back to see them while Peter went inside, "is one hundred percent back to normal. I am taking back the Oval Office and continuing to be President. Do you think you can handle that, Cy?"
"Of course, but if something doesn't feel right, or you start to get another headache then you need to tell us."
Fitz rolled his eyes hearing these exact same words come out of Olivia's mouth for the past week. "I know. I will tell you or Liv if I don't feel well."
Cyrus let it go for now and knew to be on the look out just in case something changed, and went into see Peter closing the door behind him leaving Fitz and Liv alone.
"Are you sure?"
"Livie, I am fine. I feel great. Go check in with your team and let them know you are home," he smiled before leaning down to kiss her. "I'll see you in a few hours."
He watched her walk away to the residence elevator and went into the office shaking hands with Peter.
"Thank you again for your assistance. I truly appreciate it, Peter."
"Of course, Mr. President. I'm glad to be of service. I'll be taking my place back at Speaker of the House now. And if I don't say it enough, you are doing a great job."
"Thank you, Peter."
Cyrus walked him out of the office and turned around to give Fitz his full attention. Seeing his feet propped up on the desk Fitz looked at Cyrus ready to get to work.
"What's next?"
