Takes place in Season 4 Episode 9.
After facing a plethora of easy, simpleminded, and foolish attackers sent by Aku, Jack had been challenged to a formal duel by Aku in hand to hand combat. No bounty hunters, no armies, and no sword; meaning Jack couldn't use his sword. The samurai was shocked but accepted the challenge wit his own conditions, though before Jack could say them, Aku added one more thing.
"Before your demands are made, samurai, I would like to say and change something." Aku said as he put his hands behind his back, looking down at Jack as he listened. "All this time, I have been infuriated with how you defeat everyone I hire to fight you until I realized that if one wants something done, they must do it themselves. Or in my case, I will MAKE a foe that will best you."
"But you said-" Jack tried to interrupt.
"I am aware of what I said earlier and this does not change that. I am simple creating a champion to battle you in my place and to defeat you!" Aku said with a smile on his face. "And I also believe you will recognize her."
"Her?" Jack questioned.
Aku simply chuckled to the samurai before bringing his hands together, forming a swirling sphere of his black mass between them. He stretched and molded it in his hands for a few moments before clasping it in between his hands, knelling to the ground before looking up to Jack while opening his hands. What come out of the master of darkness' hands, shocked Jack to his core.
"I believe you remember her. My now precious daughter and champion, Ikra?" Aku asked with an evil smile as the figure that come out of Aku's hands WAS the female disguise he used to trick Jack so long ago, now with a body and mind of her own.
She was just as he remembered her, green skin, short black hair and red lips wearing elbow length black cloves and a strapless black dress that was cut up the right side to show her leg and above the knee heeled boot. Ikra eyed the samurai and gave the same smile as before.
"Hello, Jack. It has been some time since we last saw each other." she said in the same smooth voice.
Just seeing her again brought back the fooled feeling he felt before she was revealed to just be another form of Aku, except this time she was her own being and wouldn't go away anytime soon.
"Hahahahahaha! Now, I believe you had some conditions for our or should I say, your duel as well?" Aku teased with the smile still on his face.
Jack, though still at a lose for words, steeled his nerves and gave his conditions to Aku and Ikra for the duel.
"Condition one, no super human powers." Jack said as he pointed to them.
"Hmph. Is it super human if I am as strong as I am?" Ikra teasing with a smirk as she flexed her arm, showing Jack her muscles.
"If it does not seem so to me, it is." Jack said with narrowed eyes at her before moving on. "Condition two, no evil minions to help you."
"Hehehe. I think you forget, Jack. Though I WAS a disguise of my father, I am my own person now. I prefer to handle things personally." she said as she lowered her arm, ending her sentence with a slight purr.
Aku had to stiffen his chuckle as he saw how Jack reacted to his daughter's purr, a blush forming on his face before he coughed to calm himself.
"Condition three, no shape shifting. You still in human form, Ikra." Jack finished, pointing to her.
Aku was about to say something to him before Ikra held him back.
"It's alright, father. I want to get used to my new body, so this no shape shifting condition works in my favor." Ikra said as he held up a hand to Aku. "It will give me a chance to see just how strong my body truly is."
Aku looked to his daughter, seeing the confidence in her eyes and nodded to her.
"Alright then, Jack." Ikra said as she locked eyes with Jack. "As my father's champion, I accept your challenge."
"Yes! And the duel shall be met before the rising sun at the ancient ruins beyond the Valley of the Corpses!" Aku declared to Jack.
"Agreed." Jack said before realizing something and continued. "Wa-
"It's East of the Crimson Hall of the Orge." Ikra said as she crossed her arms at Jack, still having a teasing smile. "Try not to get lost before our little duel, Jack."
Aku had a little laugh at Jack's expense in this short moment of lacking direction.
"I will not. I will be there." Jack said with a small blush from that moment.
"Hahaha! Then my daughter shall meet you there, samurai!" Aku said as he leaned his hand down to his newly created daughter. "Come, Ikra. You can use this time to train and test your limits."
"Yes, father." Ikra said with a bow, walking into Aku's hand before turning back to Jack. "See you soon, Jack. I hope you're as strong as my memory says you are."
The newly made Ikra had a little giggle at how Jack reacted, blushing brightly, before Aku whisked them away in a spiral of darkness.
Later, at the Incident Ruins beyond the Valley of Corpses, Jack stood ready as the rising sun shined over the former buildings. Jack had taken the needed precautions for the duel, with is sword hidden and away from Aku's vision, he made his way to the center of the ruins. A sudden light blinded him for a moment before a figure appear, standing ready before him. The figure standing was Ikra, her dress gone and replaced with a black leotard, with her gloves and heeled boots still on.
"Hello, Jack. I hope you're ready." she said with pillow eyes and hands on her hips.
Though he was VERY surprised by the leotard, Jack took deep breathes to steel his nerves and ready himself for combat. He turned his back to Ikra and began stretching, limbering his bones and muscles for the duel. Ikra wasn't far behind as she rolled her shoulder and stretched her legs, before standing on her hands and doing the splits with her legs as far out as she could move them. She took a peak over to Jack and saw he had moved onto fighting stances and motions for precise and effective attacks. Ikra decided to pull her legs back together and jump back to a standing position, practicing some fighting motions of her own from her studying before the duel. With her mind, she made quick work of it and learn what she thought would be enough to match Jack. After a few minutes of practice, it was time to start.
"I think that's enough, Jack." Ikra said as she straighten herself and turned to Jack, who had stopped his moves and turned to her. "It is time for fate to takes it's course. Not only for you and I, but for my father as well."
Jack silently agreed as he took his stance, ready for Ikra. His legs apart wit his left knee bend, right arm straight across his body with a closed fist while his left arm was behind him with the hand in an open position. Ikra meet Jack's challenging gaze and lowered herself, her left leg forward as her right leg was bent to her right side, her left arm tucked into her side with a fist while her right hand touched the ground.
They stood still for a moment, Jack's determined gaze clashing with Ikra's challenging smile.
"Let us," Ikra said before using her right leg to kick off the ground and charge at Jack. "begin!"
Ikra took the offensive and threw strikes at Jack, who block and redirected everyone one of them before ducking and throwing an uppercut. Ikra quickly leaned back to dodge it before Jack threw a straight punch to stomach, but Ikra managed to block it with both hands while she threw a knee aimed for Jack's chin but the samurai used his free hand to block the attack. Ikra then pushed Jack's held fist back and went back to attacking, but was caught as Jack held her left arm in place. The daughter of darkness didn't let this stop her as she threw a fast kick to Jack's right knee.
"UH" he grunted as he let Ikra go and got two punches to the face before he blocked and jabbed her right shoulder and chin.
Ikra shook off the dizziness before throwing a jumping spin kick at Jack, who ducked as Ikra spun in threw another kick but was caught by Jack's leg lock. He threw her to the ground face first before he jumped and flipped in the air to land straight and gaze at Ikra as she pushed herself up and turned to Jack.
"Hmm." she hummed before spitting out some dirt that got in her mouth. "Not bad."
She then slid and aimed for Jack's legs again but the samurai jumped onto some ruins to dodge. Ikra quickly followed and engaged in combat again, blocking and throwing punch between her and Jack before he jabbed her in the stomach and chin. Ikra rolled with the chin strike and kicked Jack in the stomach before shoulder rushing him back but Jack blocked the rush before knocking Ikra into the air with a strong uppercut. Ikra spun and landed on her feet before charging, stabbing at Jack with snake strikes, he dodged three times before he grabbed her arms and tried to throw her over him but Ikra grabbed his wrists and continued the roll before she stood back up and threw him into a column in a pit. Jack's back hit the column hard before he jumped back to Ikra, enduring the pain, before they clashed again. They grappled their hands together before before Jack pulled back and hit Ikra with a palm strike and back hand to the face, Ikra threw a leg sweep but Jack jumped to dodge, so Ikra used the momentum to spin around and kick Jack's legs to make him fall before he could land. She smiled down at him before lifting her leg straight up and threw an axe kick to Jack, but he rolled out of the way and sweeped her feet to bring her to the ground. As Jack jumped back on his feet, Ikra jumped onto some pillars below them.
"Catch me if you can, Jack." she teased before Jack came jumping after her.
Jack chased her for 3 pillars before jumping off the 4th one, which grew unstable and wobbling, leaving Jack unbalanced as Ikra gentle kicked it back and let Jack fall with it. Ikra laughed a bit as she looked down to the dust cloud where Jack landed, seeing it clear and reveal Jack left without serious injuries before he sent a smirk up to her and kicked the old pillar out from under her, making her fall as well. Ikra was able to landed on her feet but her legs hurt a bit from the landing and she fell to one knee.
"I didn't expect such a trick from you, Jack." Ikra said before smiling at him and standing up. "I'm pressed."
Jack didn't answer her as she starting kicking at him, which he dodged before she used her left leg to hook his neck and knee him back into another pillar that collapsed afterwards The samurai rubbed his chin as he got up and eyed Ikra with suspicion.
"That attack seemed a bit strong for a human, don't you think, Ikra?" he asked as he pointed to her.
Ikra just scoffed and turned her head to the side.
"Maybe, or perhaps you too narrowed to think that there might be humans stronger than you?" she said as she crossed her arms and shook her head before looking at Jack again. "You might be strong, Jack but you're not the pinnacle of how strong a human can become. And besides, this is my natural strength and you can't blame me for having, can you?"
"Hmm, I suppose not." Jack said with narrowed eyes, hating how she loop holed the conditions he set.
Jack tucked his arms in, focusing his inner strength before going through a series of stances and ending with his knelling position with his left knee in from and both arms to his sides with his hands open. Ikra raised a brow at this before meeting his challenge again, pulling her hands together and closing her eyes a bit. She shot them open and threw her arms out, punching and kicking the air around her before axe kicking her right leg out and holding her fists tucked to her sides. The wind blew past them before they started their fight again, striking and blocking each other before Jack kicked her feet out and threw Ikra over his shoulder to the ground.
"RAH!" she screamed as she spun like a breakdancer on her back and kicked Jack in his chest, sending him skidding across the ground as Ikra got up and followed him.
She jumped into the air and spun horizontally before launching a kick to him, missing as Jack rolled out of the way and stood up again. Ikra threw a kick again but Jack caught it and threw her leg back, throwing her off balance before he kicked out her standing leg and launched her away with a palm strike to the chest. She spun in the air and landed in a crouching positio, glaring at Jack but still smiling as if she was having fun with him. Which deep down, she was. They charged at each other and fought in close combat, blocking and striking as much as they could. They both landed blows on the other's face or body as their duel slowly grew more savage, only ending their close combat when Jack sent Ikra flying into a wall with two old ladders on it. Her back was against the wall as she looked up to Jack, both of them sweaty and injured as they had a short stare down.
'This...is exhilarating.' Ikra thought as she stood up and grabbed a ladder. 'My existence has been less than a day and this is the most fun I have ever had, though I'm sure victory will taste even sweeter.'
Jumping into the air, Ikra back flipped and kicked down a ladder to destroy all the bars in between.
"I know you're good with a sword but let's see how good you are with a staff." Ikra said as she grabbed on end and threw it to Jack will keeping the other.
Jack caught the staff and began twirling it with the skill of a master to show Ikra he knew how to use it.
"Do that answer your question?" he asked her with the staff behind his back.
"Yes, it does." she said before she spun her own staff and charged at Jack.
They clashes with ferocity as they moved around the ruins, dodging and striking each other with their new ranged weapons. Jack was more on the defensive as Ikra striked with fury, before Jack kicked her back to another wall. Ikra used her staff to vault up to the top and beckoned Jack to come to her, which the samurai generously did. Their battle continued as Ikra was on the defensive now and block all of Jack attack before her staff broke in half from one of Jack's swings. Ikra was a bit surprised but she didn't let it stop her as she changed to using the two parts like dual bokkens, blocking with one and striking with the other as they continued to dance along the top of the wall until Ikra came to the edge and Jack had his staff at her throat.
"You have fought honorably but this fight is over. Drop you weapons and admit defeat." Jack ordered her as he pushed the staff closer to her neck.
Ikra felt dropped of sweat down her brow as she kept her gaze on Jack, or more importantly, the column behind Jack.
"You think you have won, Jack? Well, I think not!" Ikra said as she flipped the grip of her left bokken to back hand grip and swung up, knocking Jack's staff away before she threw it at the column bottom as hard as she could.
The blow from it was enough to make it crumble slightly before it began to fall on Jack, who jumped to the side of it while staying on the wall, as Ikra leaped toward a cliff to her right.
"Impressive using the pillar to you advantage but underhanded." Jack said as he jumped to her.
"All is far in combat!" Ikra said as she held her remaining weapon as she would her own sword.
Ikra was put on the defensive as she blocked all of Jack's staff swings while walking backwards, not having a chance to attack before she jumped and threw her weapon at him but he dodged.
"You missed." he said as he reeled back for another swing.
"Did I now?" Ikra teased as she looked behind him to see the makeshift bokken ricocheting off the surrounding ruins like a spinning disk. "I would saw a ricochet counts as a hit."
"Ricochet?" Jack questioned before realizing it and turning around, quickly ducking the spinning stick as he dropped his staff.
He turned back around to see Ikra was no longer before him. He looked around for her through the ruins to find her, he squinted his eyes before seeing a figure shape shift wings and fly into the sky.
"The agreement was that there would be no shape shifting!" Jack said as he got back on his feet.
"Oh, I know of the terms." a voice said, making Jack turn around and see Ikra leaning against a pillar. "And I agreed to them but I'm afraid our audience, my father, did not."
"Aku?!" Jack said in shock.
"Yes." Ikra said before she quickly charged Jack and caught him in a bear hug, before preforming a front suplex and slamming Jack into the ground before straddling his stomach. "But that has nothing to do with our duel, Jack. This isn't over yet."
"Yes, it is!" Jack said as he hooked his leg in and kicked her off of him before running to where he hid his sword. "The sword!"
Jack ran back to where he hid it, under a small cave of rubble, and quickly checked inside but he didn't find his sword, all he found was a large scroll and unfurled it to read.
'Dear Jack, LOOK BEHIND YOU. Love, AKU.' it read as Jack quickly turned around to see his sword in the hands of a skeleton like creature wearing sneakers and socks.
"My sword!" Jack said before the minion before he heard footsteps behind him, looking back to see Ikra walking to him.
"Yes, your sword." she simply said.
"The conditions set said no minions!" Jack said as he pointed to her.
"Yes, that I couldn't use minions but my father could. So he decided to use your duel with me as a distraction so he could take your weapon." Ikra said as she frowned at bit, crossing her arms. "I was against the idea but one does not disobey a father such as Aku, do they?"
"No, they do not!" Aku said as he made himself appear as the size of a human, holding his hand out as the minion threw the sound to him. "And the plan worked PERFECTLY! HAHAHAHAHA!"
"But we agreed-" Jack tried to say.
"Oh, samurai, samurai, samurai." Aku said as she shook his head. "This is simply one deceitful act in life's play of misery. I used your duel with my daughter to get the one thing that could destroy us and now you have to honor of witnessing the destruction of your sword before Ikra destroys you!"
Jack couldn't help but sweat nervously as he and Ikra, who simply watch with out a care, saw Aku hold the sheath sword in both hands.
"Say good by to your sword, samurai!" Aku said as he began to bend it, only for it to suddenly turn to dust.
"Dust?!" Ikra said in shock.
"It was a fake?!" Aku asked in shock as well.
"That is right, Aku. Though, I did not expected Ikra to be honorable, I knew that a few things should always be put into account." Jack said as he walked away from them and stood victoriously. "That I am smart and you are pure, foolish evil."
The father and daughter of darkness stood still and watched Jack as he explained his plan.
"So as a precaution, I hade a fake sword made and hid it where I knew you would find while I hid the real one in a different spot." Jack said with a smug smile.
"You mean the spot where that second minion is holding it?" Ikra pointed out as Jack quickly turned around and saw his sword with an exact copy of the first minion holding it.
"Yes." Jack said in a low tone before the minion threw the sword to Aku.
Hehehe. Do you see Jack? I knew you would do something like this, so I thought farther ahead and came with more than one minion." Aku said as he pointed to himself with an air of supremacy. "So, who is the foolish one now, Jack?"
"I am afraid it is still you, Aku." Jack said with a straight face.
"Huh?" Aku and Ikra let out in confusion.
"You see, I knew that you knew that I knew that you knew that I knew that would cheat." Jack said with a smirk, confusion Aku as Ikra was thinking on it.
"You knew that he knew that..." Ikra said before she slowly pieced it together, quickly turning to Jack. "Wait. Did you-"
"Yes, in the time you both prepared for this duel, I had fake swords made and hidden all over these ruins." Jack said as they looked around, seeing several look alike skeleton minions holding up fake copies of Jack's sword. "Now all you have to do is find the real sword."
Aku looked to the one in his hand and crushed it, showing that it too was a fake before looking around for the real sword but that was harder than he thought it was. All the swords looked like the original, perfect copies, and he couldn't tell any apart. He just started picking sword after sword to find it, failing each time as Ikra watched him do so until she saw Jack leisurely walking away with a confident smile on his face.
"Father." she said to him but was ignore as he kept picking through fake swords.
"Father." she said a little louder when she saw him stop in one spot, closing his eyes and waiting.
"FATHER!" Ikra screamed as Aku finally heard her.
"What is it, Ikra?! Speak!" Aku yelled in her face, sweating profusely after so many failed attempts to find the real sword.
Ikra didn't say anything as she grabbed Aku by his face and turned his head to Jack, seeing him standing with his fists on his hips.
"I think I know where the sword it." Ikra said flatly, looking down to the ground to where she guess Jack was standing over his sword.
"No. NO!" Aku screamed in fear as Jack opened his eyes, showing them his smudge look as he dragged his foot across the dirt to reveal that Jack had burying his sword there.
Aku gasp before he and Jack stared each other down, watching if which on of them would make a move and attack first. The air was thin as Ikra watched the scene unfold before Jack and Aku charged at each other, the samurai drawing his blade by launching the sheath to hit Aku in the forehead before Jack jumped in the air and sliced down on him. A flash happened as Aku was nowhere to be found while Ikra stared down Jack, not moving before the sound of flapping was heard.
"I'll be back, samurai!" Aku said as he became an owl with his face as the body. "I'll be back!"
"And I will be ready, Aku. For as long as it takes, I will destroy you one day." Jack said to him before turning to Ikra, seeing her not move from her spot and smiling at him. "That goes for you as well."
"I figured but I do hope we get to battle again soon. It was the most enjoyable experience of my new life and I look forward to many more in the future." Ikra said as she grew black wings on her back. "Until next time, Samurai Jack."
Ikra began to flap her wings and take to the air before blowing a kiss to Jack, winking at him before flying after her father. Jack narrowed his eyes at her, though a blush was visible on his face, before retrieving his sheath and covering his blade.
"Until next time." he said as he went to recover his robe and leave the ruins, his journey continuing.
This is an AU(no one had this idea) where Ikra is created as Aku's daughter.
