40Ash Ketchum. A 10 year old boy who was born in Pallet Town of the Kanto Region.
On the day he was supposed to get his very first Pokémon, he overslept and missed out on getting one of the three traditional starter Pokémon. And gotten stuck with a stubborn Pikachu.
And to say those two got off to a rocky start would be a total understatement. Pikachu refused to do any battling and Ash had to do everything himself. In his anger, he threw a rock causing it to hit an angry bird Pokemon called Spearow.
Which angered it, as an entire flock of them were out for Ash and Pikachu's blood.
The two of them were chased through the woods and were nearly killed along the way until finally a lightning storm appeared and Ash and Pikachu found themselves cornered.
Seeing how the small mouse was injured, Ash stood in front of all of the Spearow, shouting at them as he protects Pikachu from them all. Risking his life on the line. Touched by Ash's sacrifice, Pikachu leaped up and using the lighting from the storm unleashed a super powerful Thunderbolt attack scaring all the Spearow away.
When the storm ended, Ash and Pikachu became closer than ever before.
And that was just the beginning of what they'll be getting themselves into.
As they traveled, Ash and Pikachu made more friends both human and Pokemon. Including Brock, the former Pewter City Gym Leader who wanted to be a Pokémon Breeder and Misty a girl who wanted to be the world's best Water Pokémon trainer.
Together the 3 friends traveled the entirety of Kanto as Ash not only captured 3 of the Kanto Starters: Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. He's also collected a few others too on his journey.
These Pokémon helped Ash obtain the 8 Kanto Gym Badges he needed to enter the year's Regional Pokémon League. (Even though 2 or 3 of them were won by ACTUAL Pokémon Gym Battles..)
Needless to say Ash had a lot of struggles on this journey most of which involved dealing with a trio of misfits called Team Rocket who kept trying to steal their Pokémon.
Especially Ash's Pikachu.
They believe that Pikachu is "no ordinary" or a "Unique" Pokémon.
They were Jessie, James and a talking Meowth and these three pulled out all the stops to try and get Pikachu, sometimes even crossdressing.
But they always ended blasting off into the sky everytime. How they always come back alive, nobody knows.
After Ash won his 8th badge, he gained the interest of a Pokémon named Mewtwo and like Ash, he had quite a history with Team Rocket but he decided to take things to the next level.
You see, Mewtwo was actually a cloned Pokémon created and developed by Team Rocket, after finding a fossilized eyelash of the mystical and so called "Phantom Pokémon", Mew.
Disgusted of how he was created by humans and not born as an official Pokémon, Mewtwo made it his goal to wipe the human race along with the Pokémon that "enslaved" themselves to them.
This was the start of Mewtwo's Counterattack.
Sending out invites to powerful trainers Mewtwo created a powerful storm to weed out the less determined ones and out of all the trainers invited to New Island only 3 other trainers besides Ash's group managed to make it through the storm.
And eveyone was surprised to reveal the so called "Pokémon Master" was actually Mewtwo himself.
Mewtwo challenged the trainers to a Pokémon Battle.
He used cloned Pokémon coincidentally modeled after the deceased friends from his childhood.
And needless to say those clones were strong.
First up were the Venasaurs and with one powerful Vine Whip Venasaurtwo squished the original like a weed.
Then came the Blastoise battle. The original tried to use Hydro Pump but Bliastoisetwo spun through it with Rapid Spin sending the original smashing into the wall like a ragdoll.
And last but not least, was Ash and his Charizard against Mewtwo's Charizard.
Ash tried to have Charizard use his speed to beat Charizardtwo, but Charizard didn't listen to Ash and just attacked.
Ever since Ash's Charmander evolved into Charmeleon, he became so arrogant and distant from Ash, that he acts like he dosen't even need a trainer.
He even goes too far and blast Ash in the face with Flamethrower.
Using this poor bond to his advantage, Charziardtwo delivered a devastating Seismic Toss and defeated Charizard.
With his victory, Mewtwo claimed his prize of their Pokémon. Using strange Poké Balls called Mewtwo Balls, Mewtwo made copies of all their Pokémon who would remain on the island with him safe while the storm Mewtwo created would destroy the entire world.
Panicking all of them tried to escape with whatever amount of their Pokémon they could but in the end, only Pikachu remained as the last Pokémon avoiding capture.
Ash encouraged his partner to run as fast as he could.
Pikachu did his best but the Mewtwo Balls kept coming and Pikachu started to grow tired. Doing the only thing he could think of Ash ran to try and save his Pokémon but just as Pikachu was captured Ash dived after it refusing to lose his partner.
And Ash found himself in a a cloning lab as he tried to release Pikachu.
Even though Mewtwo's lab managed to clone all the Pokémon Ash managed to destroy it saving Pikachu and all the other Pokémon trapped inside.
Seeing what was about to come Ash led all the original Pokémon out to try and stop Mewtwo but when Mewtwo tried to attack him Ash was saved by Mew, the Pokemon Mewtwo was created from.
Mew tells Mewtwo that a Pokémon's real strength comes from its heart. Disgusted, Mewtwo removes all his clone Pokémon of their special powers and they attack the originals while he does battle with Mew in order to prove it wrong.
As the battle progressed everyone was horrified as all the Pokemon were in a fight to the death but neither Mew or Mewtwo seemed to care.
Charging up their ultimate attacks that would finish the other off Ash screamed begging them to stop and ended up caught in the middle of their attack.
Everyone was horrified at what just happened. All of the Pokémon stopped their battling to see what has come to Ash.
Once the attack was died down...they all were now seeing a stone shaped Ash Ketchum.
Heartbroken by his sacrifice Pikachu tried to wake Ash up with Thudershocks but nothing worried. Tears building Pikachu and all the Pokémon original and clones cried at Ash's sacrifice. Seeing a human risk his life for them moved them, even Mewtwo.
But something out of the ordinary happened, all of the tears from the Pokémon were going to the petrified child.
With all their tears forming around Ash a miracle happened and Ash regained consciousness to everyone's joy.
From above, Mewtwo and Mew, both were seeing this.
A human gave his life to protect Pokemon, Mewtwo never thought such a thing was possible.
"Was..was I wrong all of this time?" He pondered to himself watching the small electric type hugging his now alive trainer with tears of joy.
"Mew." Mew moves its head gesturing to Ash.
"It's okay buddy. I'm right here." Ash smiles hugging him close.
"Pikapi..Pika." Pikachu chocked out.
"Why?" Ash looked up to see Mewtwo looking down at him. "Why did you do that? You could have died."
"Because it was what needed to be done. I couldn't let you all kill yourself." Ash declared.
"How can you say something like that after everything that has happened today? You all could have perished by my hands, yet just you risked everything to stop us, even throwing your own life on the line." Mewtwo said.
Ash stands up and looks up the the powerful Psychic Type Pokémon. "It's like this Mewtwo. There are good people and bad people in the world. I may not know just what kind of people created you and thought to use you as some kind of power machine, but that doesn't mean you gotta take revenge on all mankind. There are good people, who treat our Pokémon as our partners, our family. We don't abuse them for power, we fight alongside them. I'd never in my life wanted to do any kind of mischief with Pokémon."
Mewtwo looked at Ash in shock the only humans he ever just wanted something from him but this human didn't want any of it.
"I pitted you all against each other, but it wasn't until you made them put aside their differences that I now see the true power that they all share." Mewtwo said.
"It doesn't matter how you were given life Mewtwo what matters is what you do with the life you are given. That's something no one can take away from you." Ash said.
Mewtwo turns to each Pokémon, clone and artificial.
"Ash, answer me one thing." Mewtwo said as Ash looked him in the eyes. "How does it feel to travel with Pokemon on a journey?"
Hearing that a smile forms on Ash's face. "It's the greatest feeling in the world."
All of Mewtwo's clone Pokémon never been on a journey.
Looking at the happy and comforting smile each and every one of them wanted to experience that feeling.
Mew flies downwards to Mewtwo. "Mew?" It says what was it thinking.
"You really think I should?" Mewtwo asks as Mew nods. "I may not be ready to join the world of humans at the moment but perhaps the others will benefit from this."
All of Mewtwo's Clone Pokémon stepped forward, surprising everyone. "Mewtwo?" Ash asked.
"Ash, you are the first human I have every truly given my trust to. Take them out into the world and show them that not all humans are bad." Mewtwo said.
"But what about you?" Ash asks.
"As for me, I will be going out in the world finding and seeing all of these humans you say are good and learn from them while I stay in this world." Mewtwo said.
"Mew." Mew said to him.
"With Mew, by my side."
"I think that's a good idea." Ash said.
"I think the events of what happened today should stay between us for the moment." Mewtwo suggests.
"Wait you're gonna erase their memories?" Ash asks.
"It's for the best." Mewtwo nods.
"Wait! Before you do, let Brock and Misty remember too." Ash pleads.
"Your comrades?" Mewtwo turned to them.
"Yeah there are a lot of clones here and honestly I don't think I can give them all the attention they need so I would like it if I had some help." Ash admits.
"Hmm.." Mewtwo said himself before coming to a conclusion. "I understand."
They all then saw Mew and Mewtwo beginning to fly up into the sky.
"I am not sure if this would be possible or not if we will meet again."
"If we ever do, I hope we can be friends." Ash smiles.
"I hope so too Ash." Mewtwo said as a bright light engulfed them all.
Back in Old Shore Wharf...
Officer Jenny was keeping a crowd of trainers back away from the Ferry.
"I'm sorry but this is the worst storm, I can not allow any of you to leave." Officer Jenny said.
"You will all need to find shelter." The ferrymaster said.
"Then you all can rest easily now." Looking behind them the hooden woman took off her hood to reveal to be the missing Nurse Joy. "You all can take refuge at the Pokémon Center, which is now open once again."
In the waiting area, Ash, Misty and Brock looked around.
"Wait we're back?" Brock said confused.
"How did Mewtwo do it?" Misty asks looking around when Ash noticed a purple backpack by his leg.
"Hey where'd that come from?" Ash asked as Pikachu rummaged inside of it.
Opening it, Pikachu pulls out a Mewtwo Ball causing their eyes to widen when it opened to reveal Psyducktwo.
"Psy." It said holding its head just like Misty's Psyduck.
"Woah he actually did leave us the clones." Brock said.
"One of you guys can have that one. One annoying Psyduck is enough for me." Misty said.
"Psyduck?" He looks to Pikachu.
"Pikapikachu." He spoke in his language.
"Duck." Psyduck tilts his head as Pikachu just pats him on the shoulder to comfort him.
"Hey the storm is stopping!" Someone points.
Going outside to the port, everyone gazed at the beauty of the sun appearing from the clouded skies as it shines down from the lake.
Ash smiles as he looks to the sky when he saw Mewtwo and Mew flying through the sky.
"Look!" He pointed.
Brock, Misty, and Pikachu look up and smile when suddenly Misty felt movement in her backpack as Togepi pops its little head out.
"Toge." Togepi smiles.
"Nice to see you OK too Togepi." Misty said pulling the baby Pokémon out.
They watched the two Pokémon fly off into the distance, until they can't see them no more.
Ash took out the purple backpack with the Mewtwo Balls. 'Time to meet the new Pokémon.' He thought.
The gang quickly headed down to a clearing on the beach. Seeing that the coast was clear, Ash threw the bag up, making all of the balls fly up and open up to reveal each clone Pokémon in order.
A Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Pikachu, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Meowth, Psyduck, Vulpix, Gyarados, Seadra, Nidoqueen, Golduck, Tentacruel, Vaporeon, Pidgeot, Scyther, Hitmonlee, Sandslash, Dewgong, Rhyhorn, Wigglytuff, Vileplume, Ninetales and Rapidash.
"Wow, there are a lot more of them than I realized." Misty said.
"Okay what's the best way to figure this out?" Brock asks.
"We could each pick one at a time." Ash suggests.
"Pikachu?" Pikachutwo hopped to Pikachu.
"Pi?"
"ChuPikachu." He says he was sorry for everything.
"Nya? Nya?" Mewothtwo asks looking around for his other double.
"Pi.." Pikachu scratched his head, not knowing how to answer that.
"Chu Pika?" Pikachutwo asks holding out his hand hoping for a fresh start.
Pikachu smiled and takes the paw and shook it. "Pikachu."
Ash bends down to them. "Looks like you two are already buddies." He smiled.
"Pika!" The two said in unison with smiles.
"Guess you're with me little guy." Ash pets Pikachutwo.
"Hmm which one should I pick?" Misty asks when she turns around to see Gyarados right behind her causing her to scream and drop Togepi right in front of it.
"Toge?" Togepi said as the giant serpent looked down on it. But instead of being afraid Togepi just smiled and hugged it.
"Togetogepri!"
Gyarados's eyes lifted, indicating it was smiling and lightly pets Togepi with its tail.
"Looks like that big Gyarados has a soft spot for little Togepi." Brock smiles.
Misty's face was blue. 'Oh god why? Why do I have to get a Gyarados at a time like this?'
That's when she felt movement near her feet. "Huh?" Looking down it was Vaporeon.
"Vapor?"
"Hi there." Misty smiles liking this particular Water Pokémon.
"Now let's see, what about me?" Brock said looking to the list of clones.
He also felt some movement on his foot, he saw it came from Rhyhorn. "Hey little guy, how you doing?" He smiled petting it.
Rhyhorn growls with a happy smile.
Ash looks around and noticed Hitmonlee. "Hey there, you look tough. I could use a fighter on my team. Like you." Ash offers.
"Hitmonlee." The kicking demon gave a confident thumbs up.
Brock noticed Vulpixtwo but he wasn't sure if he should have two of the same Pokémon when he noticed Ninetales.
"Wow your coat, it's shiny and so beautiful." He said.
"Nine." Ninetales smiles at the compliment.
For the next couple of minutes Ash, Brock and Misty would endorse themselves with all these clones.
Ash with Pikachutwo, Mewothtwo, Psyduck, Rapidash, Hitmonlee, Scyther, and Nidoqueen
Misty with Gyarados,Seadra, Tentacruel, Vaporeon, and Dewgong, and surprisingly Wigglytuff.
And Brock with Sandslash, Rhyhorn, Vileplume, Golduck, Ninetales.
There was only 7 Pokémon left.
Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Pidgeot, Vulpix, Charizardtwo, Blastoisetwo and Venusaurtwo.
Slowly walking up Ash faced Venasaurtwo. "Uh hey there." Ash said slowly holding out his hand when Venasaurtwo slowly moves his head forward allowing Ash to pet him.
"Saur." He gave a smile.
"I guess you and I are now a team." Ash smiles.
"Saur." Venasaurtwo nods.
"You're a very strong one. But honestly I bet you wouldn't mind having someone to look after you." Brock said to Charizardtwo.
Charizardtwo grunts softly, saying he wouldn't mind.
Reaching out Brock rubs his head causing him to smile softly.
"I'm trying to be the Best Water Pokémon Trainer, but to do that I need some really strong Water Pokemon, think you meet the criteria?" Misty asks.
"Blast." Blastoisetwo grins liking the challenge.
Now each of them has strong fully evolved Pokémon.
"Now all that leaves is you guys." Brock said looking to Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Pidgeot, and Vulpix.
"Well, I already have 3 of the Pokémon on me." Ash said before he started pondering something. "Hey..hey I got an idea!" He snapped his fingers. "How would you guys love to be my mom's Pokémon?"
All four Pokémon look at him curiously.
"Your Mom? Are you sure Ash?" Misty asks.
"Absolutely, she would love to have them around." Ash nods.
"Pidgeo?" Pidgeot asked him.
"My mom loves Pokémon just as much as I do." Ash said. "Plus, I think you can keep her company when I'm not there."
"Speaking of your mom how long do you think it will take us to get back to Pallet Town?" Misty asks as Brock took out the guidebook.
"If we decide to leave now, we'll probably make it back by..tomorrow at least." Brock says.
"Sounds good." Ash said when suddenly all the Mewtwo balls he picked transported away.
"I wonder how Prof. Oak is gonna react when he gets those from you." Brock said.
"I don't know, but maybe to be safe we should move fast." Brock suggests.
"I don't know, but maybe to be safe we should move fast." Misty suggests.
"Good call." Ash said as they left on the path towards Pallet Town.

Hope you all enjoy this reboot. The reason I wanted to start over is because i was rushing things and I gave Ash so many clone Pokémon to work with that I soon lost interest, especially with the part about Ash healing Pokémon. I've lost interest and dropped it.
