Oka woke up feeling happy. Today she promised herself to confess to her long term crush, Budo Masuta.

This handsome martial artist is the man of her dreams. From the time she wakes up and to the time she goes asleep, Budo is all Oka thinks about. She plans to confess under the cherry blossom tree after school. The rumor is that if anyone confesses under the tree, their crush will say yes.

Oka prays that Budo says yes. She waited since middle school to tell him. With the support of her friends Ayano and Supana, Oka has confidence to tell Budo how she feels about him.

Oka, Supana, and Ayano lived on the same block so they walked to school together. It's been that way since middle school. The three girls are inseparable.

"So Oka are you ready to tell Budo how you feel today?" Supana said as she nudged Oka's arm with her elbow.

"I don't know. What if he says no? What if he doesn't like me back?"

"Oka he'll definitely say yes. I believe he likes you. I see the way he stares at you in third period class." Ayano winked at Oka.

Oka blushed and hid her face behind her notebook,"I doubt he even knows I exist. I think I'll back out this time guys."

They made it to the gates of Akademi High when Supana and Ayano stopped Oka from walking. Ayano put her hand on Oka's shoulder, "Oka this is your chance! If you don't tell Budo you like him today, he might be holding hands with someone else. I doubt you would want that."

Oka felt herself getting overwhelmed. She doesn't want some other girl not suited for her Budo wrapped around his arm. She wanted to be with Budo so bad.

Okay nodded her head, "Okay. I'll tell him today after school. Will you guys stay near just in case?"

"I don't think you need us for this one Oka. We have faith in you!" Supana says as she hugs Oka. The three girls separate and head to their classes. Before Oka goes to class, she slides a note in Budo's locker. She prays that her confession will bring her closer to her Budo-senpai.

Oka went the whole school day shaking. Her nerves were getting worse by the second just thinking about what she is about to do. Today, she will confess to Budo. She hopes Budo gets her note. She makes her way to the tree behind the school to wait for him.

Fifteen minutes had passed and Oka started to get worried. Maybe he didn't get her letter. Did he not want to come? Is she that unattractive? Oka, getting insecure, grabs her backpack and starts to leave.

When she turns around to leave, she sees Budo running towards the tree. Her eyes lit up as she saw her crush rushing to her up the medium sized hill. Oka puts down her backpack and takes small steps to him.

This felt like a dream. Well it looked like a scene from one of her dreams. Her Budo ran to her with wide, open arms wrapping around her for a huge hug. It was a feeling all too new for Oka.

She starts running to him. Budo sees her running to him so he slows down a little so they don't roll down the hill. But it's inevitable as Oka jumps him and they fall. They start rolling down the hill holding each other close.

"Oh gosh! Oka are you alright?"

She blushes as she realizes the predicament they are in. She landed on top of him from jumping him in their little running segment. She quickly gets off of Budo and wraps her arms around herself.

"I'm o-okay Budo-senpai. I'm s-sorry for j-jumping you!"

"Oh Oka it's fine. I should have been prepared since I am the martial arts leader. I just want to make sure you're okay. I'm sorry I'm late but I got your note. I feel the same way Oka."

Oka felt her face heat up drastically. He felt the same way?! This was the moment she has been waiting for since middle school. She had waited forever for him to say he felt the same way. Her heart was pounding dangerously. Words couldn't describe what she's feeling right now.

So Oka doesn't use her words.

Oka grabs Budo by his shirt and presses her lips against his. Thrown off a little, Budo starts to kiss back. He leans in to deepen their heartfelt kiss. Oka feels like she's in cloud nine. Her crush is kissing her! This moment is much better than her dreams. They separate so they can breathe and Budo was already leaning towards Oka for another but she stops him before he does.

"Budo I have to ask you something."

"What is it Oka?"

"Do you really like me? This isn't a prank right?"

Budo's smile grows at Oka's question, "Oka, I do like you. Hell, I think it's more than that. I wanted to confess to you since middle school but I got scared and gave up thinking you wouldn't feel the same way. Once I got your note, I wasted no time to come to you."

Oka began to feel tears roll down her face. Budo's sweet words made her feel special and loved. She's glad that she got the chance to confess. If she backed out, Budo would probably be with someone else and she would be miserable.

"Oh Budo I like you a lot. I think it's more than like for me too."

Budo got his smile back and kissed Oka again. He moved his lips away to ask a question he waited forever to ask and Oka waited forever to hear, "Oka, will you be my girlfriend?"

Oka shows Budo a big, loving smile.

"Yes Budo, of course I'll be your girlfriend."
