Well, by the time my fourteenth birthday rolled around, I was finding out why having my job as the hero of New York was a bit of a terrible one. The pay sucked, so did the hours and by the end of it, you were dead tired and wanted nothing more than to sleep it all away. That would be if you weren't me, the water was a life saver every single time. Thank my dad for that gift! The job still stinks but I learned quite quickly why I got some good luck instead of the horrible end of the proverbial stick.
I met Melissa's mother the night we celebrated my fourteenth year living. And what a doozy that was!
"Are you sure this isn't too much, Melissa?" I asked my (secret) girlfriend as she put a blue birthday cake on the table before us.
"No, silly," She grinned at me, clearly enjoying every moment, "you'd think after spending two years together would make it so I feel unappreciated? Think again, Seaweed brian."
I nodded before another voice made us turn and look over at the once unoccupied seat. Sitting in a light green sundress was Melissa's mother, Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and a bunch of other things. She looked quite beautiful, without any makeup on too! She smiled at us before putting a present on the table.
"Yes, but may I say that you both look quite adorable together?"
We blushed as Aphrodite came over and giggled, "Oh don't worry you two, I'm here to celebrate with you both, to make it not so lonely."
I also noticed the neckline on her sundress was dangerously low, showing off the goddess's massive cleavage.
She must have noticed and whispered into my ear, "Yes, you may have some of me as your birthday gift."
Melissa must have heard and blushed deep red, before she bent over to show off her bust as well. My cheeks reddened as I realized what two of my presents were. Both clearly wanted me and the feeling was mutual but for a teenager, it was very excurisating to have them do this to me.
"How about cake before the presents?" Aphrodite asked, smiling sweetly, clearly wanting to have me ravish her and Melissa, like my hormones wanted me to do.
We ate the cake, Melissa talking with her mother about what was happening in the mythological world. It seemed to be that the world was going to have a massive battle in the upcoming years, right around my sixteenth birthday. Dessert was finished up before both women took me to Melissa's room, closing the door behind them.
"Now, who do you want to unwrap first?" Aphrodite asked, smiling as I looked between them before pointing at Aphrodite, I'd give Melissa some special treatment.
Melissa seemed to read my mind and smiled as her mother stepped forward, as I pulled her sundress off. Her body was made to arouse, her huge breasts were barely being held back in her lingerie as her long legs seemed to go on forever. Her lingerie bottoms were pretty much nonexistent, as my pants tightened harder. Aphrodite smiled before she moans as I grope her massive breasts.
"I'm going to be yours tonight, lover boy," The Love Goddess smiled, her eyes full of lust, "happy birthday, Percy."
That night, I think I broke both women in pleasure. I'm really not sure but after that, Aphrodite and Melissa have been quite clear that I have them to use as stress relief whenever I need it. Which is a lot, New York has gotten even more packed with criminals and monster attacks. But I got something that no one else got, a talk with Lady Chaos herself.
I was swinging across New York before a rift in the air caused me to panic and let go of my web. Not by best idea as I went through the portal, crashing onto the black ground and rolling to a stop. I groaned before I helped up by someone, but my vision was blurry so I couldn't make out any details.
"Well hello Perseus Jackson," The female voice said, calm and soothing as my eyes cleared, I instinctively knew who I was looking at, "I was wondering when I could give you a gift."
"Gift?" I asked, as any teenager would.
Chaos smiled, nodding lightly before she waved her hand over my arms. Gauntlets formed out of the aether and fit perfectly to my lower arms. They were smoothed and had only one face, on that face were holes. I was very curious about what this was before I aimed one at the ground, imagining something would happen. I jumped when a celestial bronze spike flew out of the hole on the devices and embedded itself into the dark ground.
"W-woah," I said, looking at Chaos in surprise, "T-this are cool."
Chaos smiled, like a mother would to her young child, warm and soothing, "Yes, happy belated birthday, Perseus. These will help you in your endeavors to keep the mortals safe. The mist around New York and other places has weakened considerably in recent centuries and demigods are doing their best to make up for the failings of the mist."
"I noticed," I said, looking at my new weapons, "Monsters are showing up and I have to deal with them, last week I had to deal with a rogue cyclop that had taken a liking to the fairer sex."
Chaos nodded before a portal opened up behind her, "Use them well, Perseus, along with your sword, Riptide. They shall serve you well in your life."
I ran and swung into the open air of New York, determination filling my soul as I knew what she meant, not entirely but in a small degree, I knew.
After that, New York was more Monster free with my specialized gauntlets from Chaos herself, but things turned even weirder. I was busy doing my patrols across the city when I saw another portal open to someplace I didn't know but it involved saving Artemis and both of her hunters that were on this quest.
I found myself tumbling out of another portal, one of Chaos' of course, and onto a stone path. My spider senses were on fire and I looked up, spotting a young woman holding her hands out to a multi-headed reptile. I knew the look on the faces of the beast so I ran, faster than I had done before and grabbed the women around the waist. I felt the fangs of the monster bite into my back before I turned and slammed my fist into the monster's skull. It roared as the entire head turned into a pancake from how hard I hit it, the other heads looking at me in shock as they tried to back up.
"That's right," I snarled, even though blood and venom were now leaking out of the wound that head had made, "Back the Hades up you ghidorah reject."
The young woman looked at me in shock, "Why dist thou do that?!"
I glowered at her, "Shut up, I don't speak Bible lingo, get moving!"
We both headed up the path, my insides starting to burn, the venom was slow but very, very painful. I was beginning to start leaning on the young lady when we arrived, and my blood froze. Under a swirling funnel of stormy clouds was Artemis, something I couldn't help but feel my heart break. She wasn't like the other Gods, we've met previously on several occasions but this wasn't right.
"You like what you see," A male voice said, making both me and the woman next to me look up, "Right where she belongs."
Atlas, the Titan of Endurance, grinned evilly at the both of us. I growled before webbing up the Titan's face, focusing on Artemis. She didn't look so good, pale and sweating, now on one knee as the sky pressed into her back. I ran over and shoved her out of the way, taking the full brunt of the sky under my own enhanced strength. I couldn't believe how much the stupid thing weighed, for a cut up primordial sky god, he was fat!
"Ugh," I hissed, my muscles burning as the venom coursed through me faster and faster, my vision blurring at the edges, "your great grandfather is obese!"
Atlas roared with laughter, "I couldn't agree more, mortal! I'm surprised that you've lasted this long, the other mortal girl can only last a few minutes before having to switch out with my niece."
"Shut up, you oaf!" I snarled before standing up, my legs wanting to give out but I lifted the sky funnel into the air, over my head, "AND CATCH!"
I threw it at him, Artemis dodging out of the way as Atlas was smashed into the ground, his back pinned under the funnel of the former husband of Gaia, roaring in pain and outrage.
"Oh shut up you big baby," I wheezed out, leaning against the wall, my other hand against my heart, "You're supposed to endure that, man up and show it. Your daughters really might start visiting more often if you didn't rage and scream like a little girl all the blasted time."
I fell to my knees, the venom of that blasted hydra finally reaching my heart as I saw blackness fill my vision, as I got out, "A-at least, I-I died doing the right thing."
