Chapter 1: Out of place and out of time
A tall man is in a crater that was once a lake. He wears a suit of armour that is bronze in colour, with black clothes underneath. He has blue eyes, ginger hair, and he had a small moustache on his face. He had cream coloured skin. This was lion sin of Pride, Escanor. He had just finished fighting Estarossa of the ten commandments. He had seen a boy fighting another commandment nearby, but he knew the boy could handle it.
"I should make my way to Liones. I should also make sure Ricker is alright too. But I haven't pushed myself this far in a long time. I should stay here for now." Said Escanor.
'CRASH!'
Escanor whips his head around to see what had landed near him. But his stomach drops and he feels great despair. It was the boy from before was. The boy had on a grey with black trim armour. A clock face is on the left shoulder plate and a galaxy is on the right. The gauntlets have six small curved blades on them. There is a small blunt spike on the boots. The helmet is half clock face and half galaxy, both are coloured grey. This was Ricker Ward, the sin of despair and the eighth member of the sins. Ricker was a fifteen year old boy with pale skin, long pitch black hair with white in it, and he had silver eyes. He is another one that Escanor respects and sees the boy as a nephew. Ricker was heavily wounded, a large blood splatter was on his left side, part of his left arm's armour was missing, and his right leg's arm was heavily damaged. It was a surprise to even see him standing. Ricker's helmet falls off and he has large gash on his forehead.
"Uncle… Escanor." Said Ricker as he falls over.
"Ricker!?" Said Escanor in a panic.
Escanor runs over to Ricker and holds Ricker in his large arms. Ricker smiles when he sees his adoptive uncle. A large object was on Escanor's left wrist. It was an invention of Ricker's, he called it a wristwatch. A magic item that also stores sunshine's energy and tells the time. The watch can also allow Escanor to use his powers during the night.
"Ricker? What happened?" Asked Escanor.
"Fraudrin was a harder opponent then I thought. He got me good, I don't think I'll make it." Said Ricker, as he goes into a coughing fit with some blood coming out of his mouth.
Escanor frantically looks around. Ricker's pets would be around somewhere, but they may have been killed. Ricker's mana was dangerously low too. Escanor didn't have any hyper recovery orbs with him. He could never look at Merlin if he let her son die. Merlin took Ricker in nine years ago.
"Stay with me Ricker. I can get you to a doctor." Said Escanor.
Escanor goes to pick up Ricker, but Ricker stops him.
"By the time you get me to a doctor. I will be dead. It's okay. I knew my death would come soon or later. Just not how I saw it." Said Ricker
Escanor begins to cry. For a man of limitless pride, him right now had nothing but despair filling his heart. Ricker wipes away a tear from Escanor's cheek, but new ones take there place. Ricker smiles and takes a deep breath.
"I guess my time is coming. Tell mother… Meliodas… Ban… Diana… King… Gowther… Hawk… Elizabeth… That meeting them… Was the… best thing to… Happen to me. Also… Look after mother for me… Uncle." Said Ricker, as his breathing becomes shallower.
Streams of tears fall from Escanor's eyes. Each tear falling on to Ricker's armour.
"I will!" Said a grief stricken Escanor.
Ricker smiles and slowly closes his eyes. His face had a peaceful look on it.
"Thank….. You." Said Ricker.
Ricker had stopped breathing. Escanor unwilling to accept that Ricker was dead, shakes him softly. When that doesn't work, Escanor holds his head to Ricker's chest, after removing Ricker's chest plate, and checks for a heart beat. But there was no heart beat. Ricker Ward was dead.
"Ricker? Ricker please…. RICKER PLAESE DON'T GO!" Yelled Escanor.
"Look after mother for me." Ricker's words ring out in Escanor's head.
Escanor takes in a deep breath.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Screams Escanor in utter grief.
Escanor then picks up Ricker and begins his slow march back to Lioness. Each step adding more weight on his spirit and heart.
Meanwhile in limbo
In a single spot in the dark void, was a spot of light with Ricker laying on the ground. Ricker opens his eyes and then covers them to block out the light. He then sits up and notices that he's fully healed. He looks around the dark void and sees nothing.
"This is the afterlife. I thought there would be a bar or something to entertain me, but this…. This isn't what I expected." Said Ricker, who was officially underwhelmed.
Ricker stands up and looks around again. He doesn't see any other souls in the void. He doesn't sense his two pets, Hype and Revrar. He then begins to walk in a random direction. But he doesn't get far when he sees someone. It was a woman. The woman had pale skin, long black hair that reached down to her waist, and she wore a black dress. Ricker goes up to the woman, to ask her if this was afterlife.
"Excuse me mis? I was wondering where I am?" Asked Ricker.
The woman turns around and Ricker sees her face. It was down right beautiful. She had piercing red eyes as well, but it somehow worked for her.
"Ricker Ward. I've been expecting you." Said the woman.
"And who might you be mis? I have never met you before?" Said Ricker.
"I am the embodiment of death mortal. I govern all the souls that pass into my realm. Including the ones you killed." Said death.
"Those souls I killed we're a accident. I was merely a boy born with curse." Said Ricker.
"That may be. But to answer your question, you are in limbo. A place where souls go to wait entrance to ether hell or haven. The reason your here, is because I have a task for you." Said Death.
"And what would this task be mistress death?" Politely asked Ricker, even he knew when to be a gentlemen around women, even goddess.
"I need you to prepare a world for war against the same threat your home land is fighting right now, the demon clan. The demon king has yet to notice this world, but when he does, he will wish for it to be his. In this world, there is no magic, but things called a Quirks. Eighty percent of the worlds population has one. While the other twenty percent don't have one. With the amount of people with quirks, a job similar to Holy Knights became real. Heroes, men and woman that fight for justice, well most of them. Your job is to summon the seven deadly sins when the ten commandments show up. I don't know when they will, but here's a book on how to summon your family." Said death.
Ricker holds the book in his hand. It wasn't big, but it was a decent size. He puts it in his pocket dimension.
"Will I have to start form scratch?" Asked Ricker, hoping he didn't need to grow up again.
"No. I have already worked out the details. You will still be the same age, your power level will grow as you train, your weapons are in your home, and your pets have been revived. You will also keep your magic, but don't tell anyone unless it is absolutely the only way to gain their trust or you trust them very much. However, you will have to go to a academy to get your hero license. So I will give you all the knowledge to get you in to the academy, but the rest is up to you. Any questions?" Said death.
"What about my aunt Diana's memory lost and my uncle Meliodas's reversion to his former self? Also, what will happen to Elaine's soul?" Asked Ricker.
"I shall give Diana her memories back soon after I send you off. I will slow down your uncle's reversion. Elaine will wake up when the sins come to the world I am sending you to. Also, if you want to keep you uncle on the side of good, you will have to go to purgatory. I will not tell you how, but you will sense it when a gateway to purgatory is near you. Any other questions?" Said death.
"No. I'm ready." Said Ricker.
"Very well. Off you go." Said death.
In a flash of white light, Ricker was sent away.
In the MHA universe, at Ricker's mansion
Ricker wakes up in a large bed. He's in a large room. The room had a closet, bathroom, dresser, desk, a balcony, two small animal beds, a weapon case with his weapons in their sword forms, and a armour case with his armour. He gets out of bed and sees his nighttime clothes. He had on a grey shirt with no sleeves and black shorts with a galaxy on the left leg.
"By the look of the clothes and that weird thing by my bed, I would have to guess this world is more advanced in technology and not magic. But death said this world doesn't have magic." Said Ricker.
Ricker then heads out onto the balcony. He sees his room is on the back side of the large house. He's sees a garden, a large lake that looks very deep, a small forest surrounds the house. Ricker then gets a massive headache. He then gets a wellspring of knowledge for this 'exam' and that the exam has two parts. A written part and a practical part. The practical part is fighting robots, which he would have to look up later. A knock comes from Ricker's bedroom door.
"Come in." Said Ricker, who was ready to aport his swords to his hands.
A butler comes in. The butler had on black and white clothes, like any other servant in the royal castle. The butler bows his head. The man had cream coloured skin, some wrinkles on his face, and his blonde hair had begun to turn grey. The most noticeable thing about the man, was his black coloured eyes.
"Good morning sir. Shall I inform the cooks to make you breakfast?" Asked the butler.
"Yes. Let's head there now shall we." Said Ricker.
"Very well sir. Please fallow me." Said the butler.
"May I have your name?" Asked Ricker.
"My name sir is Marcel of Lioness. All of the servants here in this house we're from your world like me. We we're judged in the afterlife and now we serve your family. It is a way we atone for our sins we had committed in our lives." Said Marcel.
As they walk Marcel tells Ricker what the house has.
"As I assume you have seen. The property has a lake in the back that is fresh water with fish in it. The forest has some animals in it, with the walls having a one way gate for entering and exiting. There is a large garden in the back and mostly on the right side. There is a sparing area inside mansion and outside by the lake. A old fashion stove is in the kitchen to cook foods like bread, meats, and other meals. We also have some modern day cooking devices to cook with as well. A small laboratory is on the left side of the building for your use. We have a walk in fridge and freezer for foods. A library is on the main floor and it has a door that can access the second floor. The building has three floors. Your room and guess rooms are on the second floor. Including your room, we have two other master bedrooms and eleven guest rooms. We have a cellar in the basement by some storage rooms. Here is your key to the house, your room, and the master key to the other rooms. This special key for your use for any other rooms I didn't mention. The third floor has more storage rooms and a entertainment room. Here we are." Said Marcel.
They come to a a large dinning room. Some maids come in with some food. Ricker thanks them and eats his breakfast. Once he's done, he heads back to his room to get changed into some clothes. He then comes out of his room after he had changed. He now wears a pair of navy blue jeans, a short sleeve shirt that was a beige colour, he has on a brown leather jacket, and he has one some runners on that are black.
"I'm heading into town. One of the maids suggested that I head to a bank. They described it as a place people store their money." Said Ricker.
"Shall I call for the limo to come and take you to town?" Asked Marcel.
"No. I'll walk. It gives me a better view of the surroundings." Said Ricker.
As Ricker heads for the door, but he feels something hit his left ankle. He looks down to see a small lizard like creature. The creature had tusks, fins on its legs and tail, and it has a spike like mane. It has wings that are like fins to help it swim. It is a gold colour, with red tips on the end of the mane spikes, fins, and wings (think of the bewilderbeast from HTTYD 3 but with out its back spikes and it has wings). This was one of Ricker's pet dragons. The time dragon at his feet was Revrar, Gentle Mind. Revrar was a gentle soul. Ricker had found his egg in a ancient tomb with Hype's egg. A screech is heard and Ricker holds out his left arm. A all black dragon with small white glowing spots lands on Ricker's arm. It had some horns on it's head, a large set of wings, and avian like feet with large claws (think of a one headed King Ghidorah from Godzilla: KOTM). This was Hepy, The Protective. She was the dragon that represented Ricker's space magic. She was very protective of Ricker.
"Hello old friends. Liking our new home?" Said Ricker.
Hype screeches in response and Revrar releases a deep rumble from his throat. Ricker bends down and scratches Revrar under his chin, this got Revrar to release a pleased growl. Hype screeches to get attention as well, so Ricker scratches her head.
"Yes I love you too. You two have stay here for now. I'll be back soon. Stay on the property and don't get into trouble. Go on now." Said Ricker.
Hype flies away. Revrar bounds after her, but he jumps up and begins to fly after her. Ricker then heads out of the house.
A few hours latter
Ricker was officially lost. So far he had seen a villain and a hero fight at the train station. He had past a school. He was now on a random street. He pulls out the piece of paper one of the maids had given him. The bank should be near him. He then pulls out his iPhone eight to look at the map. So far he had gotten some practice with this device that the humans of this world use, but it infuriates him to no end. So far he had been bombarded by things call 'ads' for just using the search app called 'Google' to get directions to the bank. His phone would go off sometimes and he would see the world unknown on the caller ID, so he ignores it. He then sees a large crowd of people, with black smoke coming from in front of them.
"Another villain vs hero fight? Must be a big one at that too. I wonder who is fighting?" Thinks Ricker as he walks up to the crowd.
He pushes his way to the front and sees the carnage of the battle. A whole street is in ruins. A huge mass of green slime is in front of the heroes. The slime monster had a blonde boy hostage. Ricker then hears someone not far form him.
"Why aren't you helping him!?" Said a boy with moss green hair.
The boy was shorter then Ricker. The boy had green coloured eyes, freckles, and bushy green hair.
"That boy's quirk isn't allowing us to get close. Not only that, that villain's quirk is very difficult to hold on to. We have to wait for the right hero to show up." Said a hero made of wood.
Ricker then see the green haired boy dash towards the slime villain.
"He's insane!? Unless he has a powerful quirk, then he'll never survive!" Thinks Ricker.
As Ricker watches the scene in front of him, he doesn't notice a tall, lean-but-muscular man with sharp and rather elongated features. His shiny hair was worn smoothed down and parted to his left, and was of a dark green colour, with three yellow streaks towards the front, two on his right, and one on his left. His eyebrows were also yellow, matching the rims of the triangular glasses he wore and the strikingly bright-yellow irises of his stern-looking eyes. His looks gave off a sense of authority and he appeared to be glaring. This was pro hero Sir Nighteye who had on civilian clothes to blend in with the crowd. He was looking into the strange appearance of Ricker Ward. Nighteye looks down and sees Ricker make some finger gestures. From a block of concrete, metal rebar comes flying out and hits the slime villain in the arm.
"His quirk must allow him to control metal, possible iron. What else is this boy hiding." Thinks Nighteye.
But then a block of concrete goes back to the way it was as a barrier.
"No, gravity manipulation. That is a scary quirk to come up against. His have a extremely rare version go it." Thinks Nighteye.
'WHOOSH!'
"DETROIT SMASH!" Came the loud voice of All Might.
All Might is a very large man with an equally-muscular and well-defined physique. He has short blond hair, swept backwards, with two distinct tufts that stick up above his head, leaning slightly to each side, which often casts a dark shadow over his face, hiding everything but his bright blue eyes. Right now he wears a short sleeve shirt that is white. He had on green cargo pants and black shoes. Ricker then hears something. From all the training and near deaths he has had in the pass, not including his actual death, he had somewhat good hearing. It sounded like crumbling rock. He looks up and sees a large chunk of a building begins to fall apart.
'SHATTER!'
A window shatters and the part Ricker was looking at falls. The civilians near the building run away, so they wouldn't be crushed. A young boy trips and falls over. His mother and father run to him, but they wouldn't have enough time dodge the rumble. All Might only had enough energy left to cover them, which he does. He braces for impact, but everyone hears a loud snap.
'SNAP!'
The rumble then stops just a few inches away from All Might's back. Everyone also sees the rain had also stopped as well. The rain droplets we're just flouting there in the air. The rumble didn't even fall apart from whatever was holding it.
"That was a close one sir." Said Ricker.
All Might stands up. The family also stands up.
"YOUNG MAN, ARE YOU THE ONE WHO STOPPED THE RUMBLE FROM FALLING?" Asked All Might.
"Yes and back it goes." Said Ricker.
Ricker snaps his fingers again and the piece of rumble goes back up. The other people and heroes then see the street go back to the way it was before the villain had attack. The villain was also sucked into the large jugs the police had brought with them. The rain even stops, but the clouds stay. After a few minutes, the area didn't even look like there was a fight at all. All Might was speechless. A time manipulation quirk, along with a gravity quirk!? Scientists have never had predicted someone would control some of the more ludicrous things, like gravity. But as quirks evolved, gravity users had appeared, but they we're very rare and they only had a very limited control over gravity. But this boy had the most ludicrous thing that scientist could have never predicted. All Might clears his throat.
"YOUNG MAN YOU HAVE A VERY GIFTED QUIRK. ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO UA NEXT YEAR?" Asked All Might.
"Yes I am sir. I've been training my entire life with my powers. Is there anything else I am needed for?" Said Ricker.
"No. But don't use that power out in public. You need a proper license for this. We'll let you off with a warning, but other then that no." said the hero made of wood.
"By any chance. Do you know where this bank is? I'm new here." Said Ricker.
"BUT OF CAURSE YOUNG MAN. ITS DOWN THE STREET THAT WAY JUST ACROSS FROM A PAWN SHOP. YOU WILL SEE IT. LATER." Said All Might as he dashes off.
Ricker then makes his way to the bank. As he walks he passes the pawn shop, but he noticed two things in the pawn shops window display. One was a glowing crystal shaped like a heart. The second item shocked Ricker. The item appears to be an ornate four section-staff with the ends being spikes. It was was Ban's sacred treasure the Holy Staff Courechouse. The heart gave off the faint magical energy of Gowther, the goat sin of lust. Below each of the two objects, he sees a sign.
"Must go? The owner must want to get rid of them. The bank is right there. So I'll be right back." Said Ricker
After Ricker goes to the bank
Ricker comes into the pawn shop with wide eyes. He had enough money to last him two life times.
"Lady Death wasn't kidding about working out the details." Thinks Ricker.
He then sees a man at the counter. The man had light cream colours skin, black hair, and blue eyes. The man at the counter sees Ricker.
"Can I help you young man?" Asked the man.
"Yes. I would like to buy three things. The heart shaped crystal and the four section staff. Then something to carry them in. Do you take card or cash?" Said Ricker.
"Both. But I have to warn you. The heart shaped crystal is strange. One customer comes in and sells it to me, saying that had this thing is in his house for some reason. Then the next customer buys it, only to come back the next day and sells it to me again. Now I don't believe in curses, but something tells me that things cursed. No one can use that staff properly, some nearly lost an eye. I have a suitcase that can hold both of them. The total is 17150 yen please. Card or cash?" Said the man.
"Card." Said Ricker.
Ricker then leaves the pawn show and calls for Marcel to get the limo to pick him up. Nighteye watches Ricker get into the limo and head home. Nighteye looks at his phone and sees the person he was going to call. Nighteye calls All Might.
"All Might, I need some help with something. Possible about a new student to UA." Said Nighteye.
Months later
'CLANG!'
Ricker clashes with a training robot that was state of the art. The robot was about two heads taller then Ricker. It had a humanoid design and it was a black with red decals. The robot was holding a real sword. It then does a downward swing and then a stab. Ricker blocks the downward strike and deflects the stab. He then does a flurry of slashes with his sword.
"Master Ward. We have guess at the main gate. They wish to meet you." Said a maid by the name of Margret.
"Then let them in. Put on some tea if they wish to talk. Take them to the library, I will meet them there." Said Ricker.
The maid bows and heads to the main doors to meet the guests. Ricker clashes with the training robot some more, till he gets a good cut on his arm. The robot shuts down when it sees that Ricker is injured. Ricker just scuffs. He then does his rewind spell and heals himself. He then heads to get changed out of his workout clothes and into some clean ones, while also freshening up a bit.
In the library
A woman and a mature looking teenage girl are sitting in the library. The woman is on her phone looking over some emails. The teenage girl is quite tall for her age and had a very mature figure too. She had long black hair tied up in a spiky pony tail with one strand hanging on the right side of her face, she oryx coloured eyes that point slightly inwards. She had on a long red shirt, giving it a appearance of a dress. She had on white shorts and she had on brown shoes. This was Momo Yaoyorozu, a future student at UA. Momo's mothers then scuffs at one email.
"What is it mother?" Asked Momo.
"Some rich family wants a quirk marriage, but it isn't happening. Their son is far to old for you. Then there is the constant emails from the number two hero, who wants a quirk marriage with his son. But I did a background check, his wife is in a mental hospital for pouring a hot kettle of water on her son's left side when the boy was young and she tried to heal it with her ice quirk. So that isn't happening ether." Said Momo's mother.
Momo just sighs. Her mother was strict, due to her mother's background and for her mother being head of security for I-island. Her mother wanted the best for her. They had came to this mansion to meet their new neighbour. Momo also looks at the two display cases in the library. One had the crystal heart she was saving up for and the other one had the weapon she wanted to learn how to make and use. The second level doors then open and the two Yaoyorozu women look up. They see Ricker come down the stairs and Momo blushes a bit. Ricker was a handsome young man, with most of the older female holy knights commenting about him. Ricker was used to the looks that some woman his age or older give him. He thinks it's due to his silver eyes or his hair that looks like the night sky in the right light. Ricker smiles when he sees them.
"Greetings. My name is Ricker Ward. I welcome you to my home." Said Ricker.
"Greetings Ward-san. We're pat of the Yaoyorozu family just down the room. This is my daughter." Said Momo's mother.
"Hello. My name is Momo Yaoyorozu." Said Momo.
"It's a pleasure to meet Mis Yaoyorozu. You as well Momo." Said Ricker.
The two women notice the slight English accent in Ricker's voice. A maid and butler comes in with some tea.
"May I offer you two some tea?" Asked Ricker.
The two Yaoyorozu women nod their heads. The three sit down and talk a bit. Momo would take some glances at the two display cases in the room.
"I see you have notice my uncle Gowther's master piece and my uncle Ban's holly staff Courechouse. The heart I could never understand why my uncle Gowther made it, I think it was his way of trying to find out what emotions we're, due to him having a hard time expressing them. The staff was my uncle Ban's main weapon in combat. Being able to take out multiple opponents at once." Said Ricker.
"Yes. I saw them online one day and I was saving up to buy them. That is until I found out someone had already bot them. How did your uncles thing's get here?" Said Momo.
"I don't know about Gowther's crystal heart. But Ban's weapon was stolen from him one day when he was captured by some villains." Said Ricker.
"My I ask where your uncles are? Are they heroes?" Asked Momo's mother.
"They we're. But they died in the line of combat. Along with my uncles Meliodas, King, and Escanor. My aunt Diana also fell in the line of combat. My adoptive mother also fell in combat." Said Ricker.
"What about your biological parents?" Asked Momo.
"They got rid of me when my quirk manifest. My quirk is call Time and Space. I am able to control aspects of time and space. For example." Said Ricker as he points his finger at Momo's cup.
Momo watches in amazement as her cup slow refills. A portal opens and a sugar cube drops into the cup.
"Amazing. But why did your parents get rid of you? You could have been a great hero." Said Momo's mother.
"Well when my quirk manifest, I couldn't control the time aspect of my powers. My parents saw their deaths, all the different ways they would die. I was five when my father chased me out of the house with a large knife he had with him. A couple months later, my adoptive mother takes me in." Said Ricker.
"What was her name?" Asked Momo.
"No one knows, not even me. But she had everyone call her Merlin. It was even her hero name. But you won't find her online, the government would have taken it down the she died. So after my adoptive family died, I was left with millions of dollars and this mansion. So I came here to become a hero in their honour." Said Ricker.
"Well I hope to see you at UA, if that's the school your going to." Said Momo.
"That you will." Said Ricker.
The three talk some more, till the two Yaoyorozu women then leave. Ricker escorts them to the gate. Momo's mother gets a phone call and heads out of the gate to answer it. While Momo stays behind to chat with Ricker more.
"Best of luck in the exam Ward-san." Said Momo.
"Too you as well Momo. And please, call me by my first name." Said Ricker.
Momo gives him a soft smile. She then makes a piece of paper and a pen. She then writes down her contact information. She then hands the piece of paper to Ricker.
"So we can talk through text messaging." Said Momo.
The two then shake hands and part ways.
Day of the exam
Ricker finds his assigned seat in the exam room. He sees hundreds of students in the room. He spots the green hair boy from the slime villain incident. He sees some more interesting students. One hand a crow's head, one had four extra arms, one girl had pink skin and horns, and one guy had a huge tail. He then sees a instructor come on stage.
"The exam is about to begin. Please take your time and answer all the questions. Once you are done, flip over your exam papers and wait for further instructions. You may being when I say so." Said the instructor.
Ricker gets his exam and waits for the instructor to say begin. A few minutes pass.
"You may begin the exam." Said the instructor.
Ricker begins and starts off very strong. Due to lady death giving him all the knowledge he needed, the exam was a breeze. Ricker finished the exam in no time. A instructor comes by and sees that Ricker had just finished the exam. The instructor was shocked, the exam had only started fifteen minutes ago. The instructor then takes Ricker's exam papers and bring it to the front to be marked. Ricker was told to just sit there and wait for the other examines to finish. The next few minutes left was just Ricker having a small nap. Once the sound of people moving was heard, Ricker woke up. Ricker sees a slim man on stage. The man wore a black leather jacket with a very tall collar, upturned and complete with studs. He wore matching black leather pants and knee-high boots. On his shoulders are tanned shoulder pads, and he wears black fingerless gloves. He had a long hair spiked upwards that is blond. He wore orange tinned sunglasses. From Ricker's angle, the man had on headphones, that had the word "HAGE" on them.
"HELLO THERE MY FELLOW LISTENERS! CAN I GET A HEY!" Yelled the man.
"Oh my god! It's the Voice hero: Present Mic! He has his own radio station!" Said someone not far from Ricker.
Present Mic then goes over the practical exam. The robots we're ranked one to three, with each rank being worth the same amount as the rank, like a rank three robot is worth three points. A blue haired boy stood up and made a comment about the sheet he had having four villains. The blue haired boy then made a comment at the green haired boy for muttering a lot as well. Present Mic then brakes them up. He then explains that the four villain is worth zero points. Mic told everyone that the zero pointer was a obstacle they should avoid. Before everyone leaves the exam hall, Present Mic says something.
"And one more thing my dear listeners. Let me finish off with the school motto. As the great hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said… 'True heroism consists in being superior to the ills of life.' PLUS ULTRA! Break a leg, everyone!" Said Present Mic.
At test ground Foxtrot
Ricker looks up at the large metal gates of test ground foxtrot. He sees multiple people around him, some with unusual looks. One had tiger like claws, ears, eyes, and a tail. One girl had pink skin, pink hair, two horns, and black and yellow eyes. One boy had large elbows. Ricker hand on grey sweet pants, and a black tank top on. He wore brown coloured runners. Ricker hears some of the female examines whisper about him.
"Look at those muscles." Said one girl.
"Not just his muscles, but his hair looks like the night sky with stars." Said another girl.
Ricker gives one group of girls a sideways glance. The group notice and huddle together to talk to one another. Ricker just sighs and focuses on the gate in front of him.
"It's a gift and a curse to be handsome." Thinks Ricker.
The gates then open up slightly. But it was enough of an opening for Ricker to open a rift in space and get inside of the mock city. The other examines see this and are surprised.
"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! THERE'S NO START! GO GO GO!" Came the shout of Present Mic's voice.
This got the rest of the examines to make a mad dash for the gate.
The hall of judgement
The UA teachers are watching the exams. They judge the examines rescue points, which they didn't tell the examines about. They see a blond boy that could make explosions from his hands racking up the villain points, but not a single resume point. The green boy in gamma test ground hadn't even moved or gotten any points.
"Come on young Midoriya. I know you can do it." Thinks All Might, who was in his weaken form.
All Might looks like a skeleton with the skin left on. His blond hair was a rats nest. His face was more angular and he had sunken eyes.
"That kid in foxtrot is something else. Look at him go. It's like he's dancing." Said Thirteen.
Thirteen wore a space suit with a large black dome over her head that only aloud two big white eyes to be seen. She wore big yellow sneakers. The rest of the teachers watch Ricker. It was no surprise that Ricker was stacking up the villain points and rescue points. They see Ricker slice a three pointer in half with just his hand, but they see the shimmer in the air.
"That would be young Ward's gravity powers. But his time quirk is the most powerful I have ever see, well the only one I've seen. All the other time powers only allow people to see into the future or get visions. But his fixed an entire street. He's something else." Said All Might.
They all see Ricker turn a one pointer's arm into a sword and the other arm into a scythe. They watch Ricker gracefully dance around the other villains that had shown up, easily cutting them down.
"You don't get those moves on the playground. He's been trained. What's his file say?" Asked Snipe, a hero that dresses like a cowboy.
"He's from the country side of the UK. His biological parents got rid of him when his quirk manifested, saying something about their deaths. He was then taken in by a group of heroes. But sadly, the group was all killed in the line of work. He was left with millions of dollars and a mansion here in Japan. He recently just moved here last year." Said Nezu, an animal with a quirk and a pro hero/UA's principle.
"Poor kid. No one should have to go throw that." Said Midnight, the modern hero art history teacher.
"He seems very skilled with a blade as well." Said Ectoplasm, the mathematics teacher.
"Not only that, he has great cooperation skills. He seems to get along with anyone." Said Cementoss, the modern literature teacher.
"It's almost time for the real test. And it would seem that Ward-san is in a bit of a pickle." Said Nezu.
Back with Ricker
Ricker was back to back with three other examines. There was the pink girl with horns. The boy with large elbows. Then there was the boy with black hair and he could harden his skin like a rock.
"We're stuck in a rock in a hard place here!" Said the boy with large elbows, as he dodges a one pointer's haymaker.
"We need to get out to the main street!" Said the pink girl, who had a sword that Ricker had given her.
"But how!? They got us surrounded!" Said the boy with his fists hardened.
"Leave that to me comrades. Just hold on a minute." Said Ricker.
They then get pushed together again.
"Alright, Spatial Rift!" Said Ricker.
A rift opens up underneath them and they fall a short distance to the ground. Once they are through the rift, Ricker closes it, while also decapitating a one pointer villain.
"That was a close one. My Name is Mina Ashido." Said Mina to Ricker.
"Names Hanta Sero, nice to meet you dude." Said Sero.
"Name's Eijiro Kirishima! And that's an awesome quirk you got their bro!" Said Kirishima.
"Thanks. And my name is Ricker Ward." Said Ricker.
"You from America Ward-san? You have a bit of an English accent?" Asked Mina.
The four begin to walk back to the main gate.
"No. I'm from the UK. I recently moved here to Japan last year." Said Ricker.
"So what's your quirk dude? It look like you can control gravity, but then you opened a rift, and then you turn a robot into a pile of rust. So kind of quirk do you have?" Asked Sero.
"My quirk is Time and Space. I can freely control ether aspect. For example. Alternate Time!" Said Ricker.
A one pointer glowed a brief yellow colour and then it turned into a pile of weapons, ranging to swords, spears, axes, etc. Mina's jaw had dropped when Ricker told them his quirk. Sero's jaw also dropped and his eyes nearly popped out of his head, Kirishima was in the same boat as Sero.
"NO WAY!?" Yelled Mina and Kirishima.
"Yes way." Said Ricker.
"Cool." Said Sero.
'BOOM!'
A loud explosion happens. The massive zero pointer villain appears. It was as large as one of the skyscrapers near it. It then begins to move towards the gate. Multiple examines run out of the dust cloud and towards the gate. Mina, Sero, and Kirishima begin to run, but they turn around and see Ricker hasn't begun to run. Ricker just looks at the zero pointer and the multiple other pointer villains that had begun to move in for the kill.
"Ward! Run! We're not suppose to fight it, but we have to run!" Said Mina.
"If you run away, then your just a coward and you leave the civilians to die in the builds nearby. Alternate Timeline!" Said Ricker.
Multiple robots turn into large weapons, while others turn into piles of smaller weapons. There was one large spear in the mix, but it was behind most of the remaining robot villains.
(Perfect Time; Seven Deadly Sins main theme)
Ricker charges the horde of villains. He grabs a long sword and drives it into a one pointers head. Most of the other examines stop and watch Ricker's charge.
"Is he insane!?" Said one examine.
Ricker slashes away a two pointer villain and then slices a three pointer in half. As he passes the piles or single weapons, they begin to flout in the air. Some of which start to spin at high speeds. Ricker then does a spatial crush, with a perfect cube to destroy more villains.
"Jesus! He's like a one man army! Who is this guy!" Said another examine.
Ricker then grabs a scythe and throws it at a two pointer villain. The scythe was spinning so fast, that it cut clean through the villain and into the one behind it. Ricker then grabs the large spear. He then pulls it back and aims at the zero pointer villain. All the other weapons had also aimed at the zero pointer villain, the ones spinning had stopped.
"Here goes nothing. Meteor Bombardment!" Said Ricker.
Ricker hurls the spear forwards and the spear flies true and fast. The other weapons also shoot forwards towards the zero pointer. All over the zero pointer villain, we're multiple explosions. Mina, Sero, Kirishima, the rest of the examines, and the teachers in the 'Hall of Judgement' had their jaws drop to the floor.
"WHAT THE HELL!" They all yelled.
"TIMES UP!" Yelled Present Mic.
"Well that was fun." Said Ricker.
At the UA gate
Ricker makes his way to the gate to be picked up. He was told that he would get his results in the next two weeks.
"Ricker!" Came the voice of Mina.
Mina, Kirishima, and Sero jog up to Ricker. Mina and Kirishima had on the same school uniform, meaning that they went to the same school. While Sero wore a different school uniform.
"Hello again." Said Ricker.
"That was amazing! The way you took down those mock villains with ease and taking down the zero pointer with all those weapons! Then there was the ultimate move you called out! I think you called it Meteor Bombardment?" Said Mina.
"You are right. With Meteor Bombardment, I have all the weapons near me flout up in the air. The largest weapon is thrown first and the rest fallow, with some drifting off course on purpose to spread out the damage. It can be used with anything, I mostly use it with weapons." Said Ricker.
"Cool dude. Mind if I give you my contact information so we can chat more often?" Asked Sero.
"Same man! Those moves you pulled off we're so manly!" Said Kirishima.
Ricker then produces a piece of paper. He then waves his hand over the paper and it was all filled out.
"WAIT WHAT!?" Yelled Mina, Sero, and Kirishima.
"I am also able to fast forward an object. I just fast forward this piece of paper to the point of time where you three had already written down on it. My I offer you three a ride to your train stations?" Said Ricker.
"You sure? We wouldn't want to over stuff your parent's car." Said Mina.
"Yeah man. If I run the whole way there, I'm sure I will catch the next train." Said Kirishima.
"Uh? Guys?" Said Sero in confusion.
"What?" Asked Mina and Kirishima.
Sero then points to the left and they see a limo pull up. The driver then steps out of the limo.
"Are you ready to depart Master Ward? Oh? Who are these people?" Asked the driver.
"This is Mina, Sero, and Kirishima. I was offering them a ride to their train stations for them to catch the next trains earlier. Is there any trouble with that Luke?" Said Ricker.
"None at all Master Ward." Said Luke.
After Mina, Kirishima, and Sero got over their shock, they told Luke where the stations we're. Sero's wasn't that far, but most of the fastest ways to get there on foot we're over crowded. Mina's and Kirishima's station was a bit farther, Kirishima would have never made it for the next train. The three pile in and they had off. Ricker tells them about his aunt and uncle's fates, along with his mother. The three we're shocked. Their new friend was rich, his adoptive family we're heroes, and said family had been killed in the line of work. After Mina, Kirishima, and Sero we're dropped off at their stations, Ricker heads home to train more and have dinner.
One week later
Sir Nighteye, Nezu, and All Might are at the front gates to Ricker's property. A blond teenage boy with them. He wears a white skin-tight top with the number (one million) stamped across his chest in a bold, yellow font. The trimming on the top and shoulder pads are made in a matching fashion. On his waist, two green lines act as a belt, along with some lines of similar appearance on his shoulders, which dip in places to form two V's. He also wears baggy dark blue pants and white knee-high boots. He wears a red cape as well as thick gloves of matching colour. His costume is then topped off with a white visor with yellow lenses. This is Mirio Togata, or by his hero name Lemillion. He was asked by Nighteye to look around Ricker's mansion. At first Mirio was a bit uneasy by the request, but he agreed to it anyways.
"Maybe now All Might will see Mirio as a better candidate." Thinks Nighteye.
"We will keep Ricker occupied. Lemillion, you will look around the house to find anything of an importance. I will contact you when we are ready to leave." Said Nighteye.
"You got it sir." Said Mirio.
"IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG YOUNG TOGATA?" Asked All Might.
"No, I'm just out of my comfort zone. Snooping around a future fresh men of UA is a bit unnerving to me. I just don't know why thou." Said Mirio.
"Ricker Ward appeared out of thin air. It says on his file that his adoptive family all died in the line of work. But last I checked, this mansion was never here months ago. It was just open forest area. So I began digging. I saw him fix a whole area that a villain destroyed, he even made the rain stop. He's a possible threat. His time and gravity powers are a unknown." Said Nighteye.
"I WAS THERE WHEN HE FIXED THE AREA. IT WAS AMZING. LETS HOPE WE CAN KEEP HIM BUSY. SHALL WE?" Said All Might.
All Might lifts Nezu up to ring the intercom on the gate. A female voice comes through the speaker. They say they are here to see Ricker and the woman on the other end lets them in. Mirio phases through the ground and heads over to the trees and fallows the adults towards the mansion. Once at the front door, a maid opens the door.
"Hello. My name is Margret. I am the head maid. We weren't expecting guests today." Said Margret.
"We're here to talk to Ricker about his score on the exam." Said Nezu.
"Very well. Master Ward is in the library. May I take your coats?" Said Margret.
All Might takes off his coat he had on over his suit and Nighteye politely declines. Nezu hands over his vest to Margret. Margret then leads them to the library. They then see Ricker sitting in one of the chairs by the fireplace. They see him reading a book and eating an apple.
"We have guests master Ward. They are here to talk about your score on the exam you took." Said Margret.
Ricker looks up. He then puts a bookmark in his book and places the book down. The three adults see a small stack of books by Ricker.
"I thought the results would come in the mail?" Said Ricker in confusion.
"Something isn't right. Why would All Might, Nezu, and another man come here? I'm sensing a fourth one in the mansion. I'll have Hype and Revrar look for the fourth one and then I will have that person pulled here by my magic. But I have to play it cool and not give these three any ideas." Thinks Ricker.
"May I offer you three some tea?" Asked Ricker.
Nezu and All Might agreed. While Nighteye did agree to have some tea, he only did it to not give Ricker any ideas. The four then talk for awhile.
Meanwhile with Mirio
"How many rooms does this place have!?" Thinks Mirio.
So far Mirio has been through the basement and found the cellar. He found nothing in the storage rooms, other then some weird plants that tried to eat him. He then moved up the stairs to the main floor. He was almost caught by some maids passing him, but he went into the wall to hide. He heard Nighteye talking, so he made his way up the stairs. Mirio didn't however notice Hype and Revrar above him, stalking him.
"What is this room?" Thinks Mirio.
Mirio had stumbled into one of the rooms Marcel had talked about. The room had some chairs and a snack bar on the back wall. There was a massive flatscreen tv in front of the chairs. The chairs also had cup holders in them. Their was only two couches in the room.
"I think this is a home movie theatre. On to the next rooms." Said Mirio.
The next few rooms we're pretty normal. There was a weight lifting room, a guest room a few times, a gaming room full of video games with consoles and computer, a display room full of armour and weapons, and then there was Ricker's room.
"This must be Ricker Ward's room." Said Mirio.
Mirio looks around the room. He finds nothing, but he does sees Ricker's personal armour. He then looks at Nightbane and Othkeeper in their sword forms. Mirio looks at the sword with some curiosity. Both swords had a intricate handle design to them, with Nightbane having a galaxy on it and Othkeeper having a old fashion clock face to it with a hole in the middle of the handle. Mirio then does a quick look around the room to make sure that there was no one was with him. He then slowly opens the case. He then takes a closer look at Nightbane. He then unsheathes Nightbane a little bit and sees that the whole blade was black. He then puts the sword down and picks up Othkeeper. He noticed the difference in weight to the swords. Nightbane was lighter then Othkeeper. Mirio then puts Othkeeper back and he looks at the words underneath the swords.
"This one is called, 'The sword that turned night to day, Nightbane'. Cool name. And this one is called, 'The blade that foresees victory, Othkeeper'. Equally as cool." Said Mirio.
Mirio then hears a low growl from behind him. Mirio whips around to see nothing, other then a pair of glowing white eyes coming from one of the pet beds.
"Easy there little guy. I'm not going to hurt. Why don't you come out and… WHOOA!?" Said Mirio as Hype flies out of the little hut.
Hype grabs Mirio's visor and gives him a good cut on the forehead with her tail. She then flies up onto the top of the armour case and hisses at Mirio. Mirio gets off the floor, while holding his new wound. He looks up at Hype again, which caused her to hiss at him. Mirio noticed that his visor was in Hype's claws.
"I'm going to need that back now." Said Mirio.
'WHAM!'
Mirio gets hit in the chest by a unknown force. When he was hit, it felt like he was heavier. He then sees Hype throw his visor through a portal.
"Hey!? I needed that!?" Said Mirio.
Mirio then sees Hype's eyes glow a faint purple colour. Mirio then feels himself left up into the air.
"Whoa! What's going on!? Said Mirio.
Mirio then feels it. A pull of some sorts, on the diagonal. It was gravitational pull, which Mirio was feels. He then feels himself get flung towards the floor.
"WHOA!? WHAT'S GOING ON!?" Yelled Mirio as he goes intangible.
Meanwhile with the others, while Mirio was sneaking around
"So I passed the exam?" Asked Ricker.
"Indeed you did. You passed the written with flying colours, a perfect one hundred percent, which is extremely rare, if not impossible to get. You must have studied quaint a lot to get one hundred percent." Said Nezu.
Ricker had played them off good, when he sees Ban or King again he will thank them for teaching him how to remain calm in tenses situations. Nezu takes a bite out of some cheese a maid had brought him. All Might just had his tea. Nighteye had yet to drink his tea, Nighteye probably thought it was poisoned.
"What about the practical part? Against the robots." Asked Ricker.
All Might was the one to answer.
"YOU GOT AROUND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY VILLAIN POINTS. BUT THERE WAS A HIDDEN POINT VALUE. RESCUE POINTS! THE TEACHERS RANK YOU HEROIC ACTIONS AND GIVE YOU A SCORE. YOU SCORED… A PERFECT SIXITY POINTS! IN TOTAL YOU GOT ONE HUNDRED NINTY POINTS! GIVING YOU THE TOP SPOT! SO AS I SAID TO THE OTHER STUDENTS OF THE HERO COURSES, WELCOME RICKER WARD TO YOUR HERO ACADEMIA." Said All Might as he holds out his hand.
Ricker shakes All Might's hand. Nighteye watches him with a small glint in his eyes.
"I hope Mirio found something to give us some more information on Ricker." Thinks Nighteye.
"And when will the fourth one show their face here?" Asked Ricker.
This caused Nighteye to stiffen up. All Might had a small amount of blood come out from the corner of his mouth, which he quickly wipes away. Nezu had gained a serious look. How did Ricker know about Mirio. All Might then tries to play dumb.
"FOURTH PERSON? NA! WE ONLY CAME AS A GROUP OF THREE! WHERE DID YOU GET FOUR FROM?" Said All Might.
A portal then forms and Mirio's visor falls into Ricker's hand.
"By this visor. I foresaw you four coming with my time powers. So why did you?" Asked Ricker.
Nighteye had on a straight face on the outside. But on the inside he was having a panic attack.
"If you as so much as hurt Lemillion. I'll…" Said Nighteye, but Ricker cuts him off.
"He's fine, see." Said Ricker.
Ricker then does some finger motions. They then hear a yell coming towards them. Mirio then comes through the wall on the upper level. When he gets beside them, he is then spun around in a circle. He is then placed on the floor. They all see his injury on his forehead.
"Someone please stop the room from spinning." Begged Mirio.
"Where did you get that cut?" Asked Ricker.
"One of your pets." Said Mirio as he slumps his head on the floor.
Ricker then whistles loudly.
"Hype! Get in here!" Said Ricker.
Another portal opens and Hype flies out. She then lands beside Ricker and grows in size to that of a small car. All Might, Nezu, and Nighteye's eyes widen. A dragon was in the room with them, when dragons we're suppose to be myths. When Hype sees them staring at her, she hisses at them. Ricker then flicks Hype's nose.
"I said watch him, not hurt him Hype. Do you always have to hurt someone new to me, I can protect myself thank you very much. Margret, can you come deal with Lemillion's injure while I talk with these three." Said Ricker.
Hype yowls in protest, but she just goes over to the fireplace and lays down. Margret then comes in and she helps Mirio out of the room. The doors then close and a pink wall forms.
"Now then. With Perfect Cube, no one will be interrupting us. You should thank me All Might, due to you smoking in three. Two. One." Said Ricker.
As soon as Ricker said one, All Might began to smoke and cough up a bit of blood. Nighteye gains a shocked look, as well as one of fear. Ricker now knows about All Might's secret. All Might takes a napkin to wipe away the blood.
"How?" Asked All Might.
Hype growls from her spot by the fireplace. Ricker gives Hype a sideways glare to be quiet.
"One secret for another. I'll tell you mine and you tell me yours. We don't tell anyone else. If the other deems it right to allow the other to tell their secret to another person, then they shall." Said Ricker.
"Alright then. I'll go first." Said All Might.
"All Might!?" Said Nighteye in shock.
All Might then tells his story. From his quirk 'One for All'. To his injury. He then tells Ricker about Izuku Midoriya, his successor and the ninth holder of 'One for All'. All Might goes into detail about his fight that lead to his weaken state. The thing he didn't tell Izuku, is that he's going to die soon, the reasoning is to not affect Izuku's growth. All Might also tells Ricker who else knows about his quirk. Those being Nighteye, Nezu, a hero named Recover girl, Izuku, his old teacher Gran Torino, and a close friend in the police force. Ricker takes it all in. Nezu was quiet for most of the explanation. Nighteye only looked down in shame for some reason.
"So your going to UA as a teacher was a cover up. The true reason was to find a successor, but you had already found Izuku. By that logic, you now focus on helping the future generations of heroes learn. You arch enemy, All for One, was killed when you battled him last. But there still needs to be a symbol of peace for people to look up to. Anyone can be a symbol, just with the right training and mentality. But I guess I should hold up my end of the bargain. And I will be telling you the truth, even if it sounds insane, but it is all true." Said Ricker.
Ricker then tells them his backstory. To his home universe and his magic powers. His parents chasing him out to stop the death visions from coming. To being sentenced to death for killing lots of people by accident, but the court made it sound like he did it on purpose. Then the Seven Deadly Sin of gluttony, Merlin adopting him. Then the framing of the sins. Then ten years later, the sins clearing their names and being claimed heroes. The the revival of the demon clans elite demons, The Ten Commandments. Then Ricker goes over how he got to this universe. From him actually dying and lady death herself giving him a mission.
"And what would be this mission?" Asked Nezu.
"Your taking this rather very well?" Said a confused All Might.
"Well when people do find out, I can brag about I have more time with a person from a alternate universe and confirming the multiverse theory." Said Nezu with his signature laugh.
"Back on topic. All this sounds insane, you can't be from an alternate reality." Said Nighteye with a glare.
"Night, the boy has not signs of telling a lie. And he's holding his end of the bargain, telling us his secret. Continue please." Said All Might.
"I am to prepare this world for holly war against the demon clan and the Ten Commandments. The only problem, is that I don't know when they will show up. They could show up now or they show up in ten years. But when they do show up, I will summon the Seven Deadly Sins to protect this world." Said Ricker.
"What we're the other sins, well, sins?" Asked All Might.
Nighteye didn't like the idea of trusting criminals.
"I can't, due to the seven deadly sins seven laws. Law #3: "A Sin shall ask no questions of another member's sin." All eight of the sins must fallow these rules with out questions." Said Ricker.
"Oh, I didn't know there was… Wait? Eight? I thought you said there was seven. Like, you know, seven sins equals seven members. And how do people know who is a member of the seven deadly sins?" Asked All Might.
"Each member is branded with a special magic tattoo. The dragon's sin of wrath, the serpent's sin of envy, the fox's sin of greed, the grizzly's sin of sloth, the goat's sin of lust, the boar's sin of gluttony, the lion's sin of pride, and finally the shark's sin of despair. Each sin is give a crimson tattoo of the mentioned beasts. But allow me to properly introduce myself." Said Ricker.
Ricker then pulls down his shirt's collar. The three adult's eyes widen. There, on Ricker's chest right over the heart, is a crimson shark tattoo. The tattoo had a shark's head, with the mouth open a bit and with some teeth shown. The tail of the shark had sharp fins, going all the way to the end of the tail. There was no other fins. The shark formed a circle.
"I am part of the seven deadly sins. I am the shark sin of Despair, and my name is Ricker Ward." Said Ricker.
Nezu's eyes widen, but not in shock, but in hidden anger and realization that Ricker was branded as a sinner at a young age. All Might was shock, in front of him was one of the seven deadly sins, well, eight deadly sins. Nighteye was in the same boat as All Might, but he was also somewhat anger with he justice system of Ricker's world for giving a child the death sentence. They talk some more, till they leave. But as All Might leaves, Ricker pulls All Might off to the side.
"A word All Might." Said Ricker.
"Sure. You guys head on ahead. I'll catch up."
The two go back inside to talk.
"What is it young Ward?" Asked All Might.
"I have two things to say. One, you should let Mirio and the other big three members help train Izuku. Not only will it give Izuku some fighting experience, but it will also take a load off of you. Two, I might have a way to heal you, but it will take time to make the potion." Said Ricker.
All Might was shock. This boy from another universe was going to heal him.
"I'll think about having the big three help young Midoriya. Should I tell the big three your situation? And how long will the potion take to make?" Asked All Might.
"Have Mirio and the other two come here, it will be better if they hear it from me and you should also come, to confirm my story. The potion should take about a week at most or four days. Making potions is a hobby of mine." Said Ricker.
All Might then thanks Ricker and heads home.
Later that night
Ricker is in the library again. Revrar is on his lap and is sleeping. Hype is by the fireplace, with a fire on. Ricker reads a book about certain potions to heal someone of serious injuries, which was very complicated to make. If one ingredient is added at the wrong amount, the person drinking it will experience…. Some complications. Mainly headaches, permanent blindness, loss of feeling in the extremities, a small chance of loosing one's voice, and then after two days, death. Ricker leans back in his chair and groans. He looks at the ingredient list, it was about twelve different ingredients and raising. One ingredient called for a strand of hair from the person. Ricker looks at the time, it was around nine forty five. He puts a bookmark in the book and picks up Revrar. Revrar stirs a bit, but he goes back to sleep.
"This may tale longer then I thought. Probably at least two weeks or more. But if it means gaining their trust, then I'll do it. I must get to bed, I have a long day tomorrow. This is interesting world indeed, I just hope I can prepare it for war in time." Said Ricker.
He then gets up and heads to his room. Hype flies onto his shoulder and Revrar gets comfortable.

Done! The first chapter of 'Hero Sin of Despair'. While yes having powers over time and space sound OP at first, most of the time Ricker will use his own skills rather then his magic. His time powers can be extremely dangerous at any given moment. His dragons help regulate his powers more, so he doesn't kill/decimate things. I have Ricker being more aline with his space powers, like telekinesis/portals/gravity. His time powers are more for fixing/healing/foresight/etc. Ricker's pets will show up only if he absolutely needs them, like a battle he thinks his friends can't handle. Give me some feedback to make the story better and who should Ricker intern with.
