23If there was one thing Class 1-A learned in their time living together it's that when Ashido Mina got excited, something was about to happen. So when the fluffy alien came barreling into the commons room, surprisingly dragging Izuku by the arm, the students already there (Shouto, Momo, Tsuyu, Kyouka, Kaminari, and Tokoyami) braced themselves for what was to come.
"What are you up to now, Mina?" asked Kyouka, letting out a sigh.
"Nothing~ Just Midori and I having some fun!"
Izuku let out an embarrassed groan, as he wanted to be anywhere but here at that moment.
"It doesn't sound like you've been having fun, gero," stated Tsuyu, glancing towards Izuku.
"Sure we have! We've actually been playing Pokémon!"
"Then why does Midoriya look like he wants to crawl under a rock and hide?" asked Kaminari.
The red-faced boy let out another groan before he spoke. "Y-You don't want to know."
"Oh, shush, Midori! You know it was fun!"
"Mina, what did you do and is it something you shouldn't have?" questioned Momo. Since Iida wasn't there at the moment, it was her responsibility to look after the others since she was the Vice President.
"It was nothing bad, Yaomomo! All I did was ask Midori for some help to think of which Pokémon would best represent each member of our class!" explained the pink girl with a grin.
The silence engulfed the room as everyone gave Mina a questioning look. It was only broken when Shouto asked the question on everyone's mind.
"Why?"
"Because it's fun!" exclaimed Mina. "For example, Midori would be a Magikarp!"
Izuku tried to hide his face in his arms while Kaminari let out a snort.
"A Magikarp?" asked Kaminari with a laugh. "Why would Midoriya be the weakest Pokémon?"
"Because people are always underestimating Midori just like they do Magikarp," explained Mina. "But in reality, Midori has that super strong Quirk of his and Magikarp can evolve into Gyarados, so you shouldn't mess with either of them!"
"That does make sense," replied Tokoyami.
"Tokoyami, you would be a Corviknight!"
The bird-headed boy raised an eyebrow as Mina showed a picture of the Pokémon on her phone.
Seeing as how he wasn't getting out of this, Izuku decided to explain. "B-Both of you are birds with a code of honor, just like a knight."
"Hm…I accept this comparison. Thank you, Midoriya."
"Which Pokémon would I be, Midoriya-kun, gero?" asked Tsuyu, turning the blushing boy.
He stammered a bit, while Mina let out some giggles.
"Go on and tell her, Midori!"
"W-Well, Ts-Tsuyu, you would be Greninja," stated Izuku as Mina brought up a picture. "Obviously you're both frogs, but you're both also very stealthy like ninjas. Plus, both of you are very strong too."
The frog girl let out a series of happy croaks.
"Todoroki, you get to be a Vulpix!" chirped Mina.
"A what?" asked Shouto, not familiar with Pokémon. Mina showed him a picture of the fox-like Pokémon. "Why exactly would I be this thing?"
"Because as Midori pointed out, Vulpix comes in two variants. A Fire-type and an Ice-type! It's perfect for you!"
Shouto had a blank look on his face as he looked at the pictures of a red fox and a white fox. Unbeknownst to him, Momo kept glancing back and forth between him and the foxes, blushing as she pictured Shouto with a pair of fox ears and a tail.
"Do me next! What kind of Pokémon would I be? Something really cool, right?" asked Kaminari with a grin. His grin vanished when Mina let out a few giggles while Izuku glanced away with a blush. "Oh come on! Don't tell me I'm Pikachu! I get that enough as it is!"
Mina only giggled more as Izuku completely turned away to hide his brighter blush.
"Tell him, Midori~"
"Wh-Why do I have to tell him?!"
"Because you're the one who came up with it~"
Letting out a groan, Izuku turned back to Kaminari, not liking this one bit. "Y-You w-would be a Pichu, K-Kaminari."
"…A Pichu?! Why the hell would I be a Pichu?!" demanded Kaminari, very upset by this.
The giggles of the alien came before the answer. "Both you and Pichu tend to hurt yourselves with your own electricity!"
A cloud of depression hovered over Kaminari as he laid in the fetal position in the corner of the room. It didn't help that Kyouka was laughing her ass off.
"Oh that's rich!" exclaimed the purple-haired girl, trying not to fall from laughing too hard. "It definitely fits you, Jamming Yay!"
While Kyouka continued to laugh at Kaminari's expense, Momo turned to Mina.
"Which one would I be, Mina? I'm quite curious about these…Pokaymon?"
She raised an eyebrow in confusion when Mina gave off a pout.
"First off, Yaomomo, it's pronounced Pokémon. Secondly…we haven't come up with one for you yet," explained the fluffy alien.
"Aw, how come?" asked Momo, sounding disappointed.
"I-It's not just you, Yaoyorozu-san. Ashido-san and I still haven't come up with comparisons for a lot of our classmates," stated Izuku, glancing away.
"I couldn't even find one for myself!" said Mina with another pout. "It's not fair."
"So does that mean we're done with this?" asked Kyouka, finally over her laughing fit. She wanted to go back to her room and listen to some music.
Mina's pout turned into a grin. "Not so fast, Kyouka-chan~ We might not have found Pokémon for the others, but we did find one for you! In fact, Midori found two for you!"
Izuku wanted to just run away when Kyouka turned to him. "I-It was hard to pick j-just one, J-Jirou-san."
The rocker girl let out a sigh. "Fine. What did you come up with, Midoriya?"
"First we have Whismur!" chirped Mina, bring up a picture.
Kyouka could feel her eye twitch in annoyance as she looked at the pink Pokémon. "And why exactly was this one chosen for me?"
"W-Well, Whismur is u-usually quiet and shy like you, J-Jirou-san, and can also attack with very loud sound waves," explained Izuku, not wanting to upset her.
The music enthusiast sighed once more as her annoyance went away. She supposed she could live with being compared to something pink (no offense, Mina) if that was Midoriya's reason.
"So what's the other one you chose for me, Midoriya?"
At this point, Mina showed Kyouka a picture of the other Pokémon; a black and white raccoon-looking creature with red eyes and its tongue out. It was the cutest thing Kyouka had ever seen!
"Th-That's Zigzagoon," said Izuku as Kyouka stared at the picture with wide eyes. "I chose that Pokémon mainly because, w-well, it reminded me of this one rock band from the Pre-Quirk Era."
Kyouka whipped her head around to look at Izuku, who was searching something on his own phone. He then handed her the phone when he found a picture of the band in question. They were dressed in black and silver costumes and their faces were painted in black and white face paint.
"Holy shit they look badass!" exclaimed Kyouka, surprised that the Pre-Quirk Era even had bands like this. She then looked back up at Izuku. "Do you have any of their songs?"
"I h-have a few on my computer that I was p-planning to burn onto a CD."
"Make me a copy, please," said the shy rocker, a small sparkle of excitement in her eyes. Her excitement grew when Izuku nodded his head in agreement.
Mina was also getting excitement as her inner romantic wanted to come out, but that was for another time. "Okay then! That's all we've got for now! Midori and I still need to figure out everyone else Pokémon partners, so once we do we can begin round two of "Who's That Pokémon"!"
"Wh-Why am I involved with this again?" asked Izuku as Mina started to drag him away. They missed the small pout that appeared on Kyouka's face when Izuku was taken.
"Because you're smart, Midori! You should be able to figure out everyone else's partner in no time!" exclaimed Mina with a grin as she and Izuku disappeared down the hall.
After a few moments of silence, Tokoyami spoke up. "I believe it might be for the best if we check in on them from time to time, lest Ashido breaks Midoriya."
"Agreed," replied the others.

Later that night, Kyouka was making her way towards Momo's room, needing a favor from her best friend. Once she reached Momo's door, she knocked and waited.
"Who is it?"
"It's me, Yaomomo. I needed to ask you something," replied Kyouka.
"Door's open, Kyouka!"
Opening the door, Kyouka let herself in. Before she could speak though, she stopped when she noticed what was on Momo's bed.
"Really, Yaomomo?" questioned Kyouka in a deadpan tone, causing Momo to blush.
"Wh-What? Th-There's nothing wrong with a girl having plushies."
"It's the Fire Vulpix and the Ice Vulpix, Yaomomo! And since you didn't even know what Pokémon was until today I know you made them since they remind you of Todoroki!"
Momo's face matched her hero costume in color. Was she really that obvious?
"Wh-What was it th-that you needed to ask me, K-Kyouka?" asked Momo, wanting to change the subject.
A slight blush of her own appeared on Kyouka's cheeks as she pulled out her phone. "Well since you've already made some for yourself, I was wondering if you'd make a plushy of this for me."
Taking the phone from Kyouka's hand, Momo saw a picture of the black and white Zigzagoon. With a smile, the raven-haired beauty activated her Quirk and created a plushy of the rock n' roll raccoon for her friend.
"Here you go, Kyouka!" said Momo as she handed the plushy over.
"Th-Thanks, Yaomomo," replied the shy rocker as she accepted the item. It was then she noticed something extra. "Hey, what's with the green ribbon around its neck?"
The taller girl let out a few giggles. "Just a reminder of WHO gave you the idea to get a Zigzagoon in the first place."
Kyouka looked at her friend with a blank look on her face. Once it clicked at what Momo was getting at, Kyouka's face lit up with her earphone jacks going haywire.
"Eh?! I-It's n-not…h-he's n-not…shut up!"
Momo continued to giggle while Kyouka turned away and held her plushy close.
"Maybe next time you won't tease me about my crush on Todoroki-kun, since I know about YOUR crush."
The shy rocker could only let out a groan as she hid her face in her plushy.

This will most likely remain a one-shot 'cause I honestly CAN'T think of which Pokémon would fit the rest of the 1-A students. The only other ones I could think of, that were not in this fic are Ochaco & Clefairy (space theme), Hagakure & Kecleon (invisibility), and Bakugou & Primeape (always angry) or Weezing (explodes and are toxic to others). Now while I couldn't think of the other pairs, I'd be interested to hear what you guys could come up with. It might even give me the inspiration to add to this. Of course, if you do try to think of pairs, you have to remember that the Pokémon HAS to have something in common with their respective 1-A partner.
Anyway, this fic was originally supposed to hint at IzuTsu…but I REALLY wanted to write out the ending scene with Kyouka and Zigzagoon. It would not have made any sense to have an IzuTsu fic with an IzuJirou ending, so I decided to hint at IzuJirou in the fic proper.
