Chapter 1: Arrival
Today it was the spring festival of summoning. Everyone has summoned their familiars except for one. Her name is Louise Valliere. Everyone mocks her by calling her Louise the Zero; why?
Because every time she attempts to do magic, she always gets nothing but explosives and constantly gets bullied from it. Now maybe this is her chance to prove that she's not a zero, and maybe she can get something cool like a griffon or a dragon.
"My Familiar that exists somewhere in this vast universe. Pentagon of the five elemental powers, heed my summoning! Give me the most wise, powerful, and beautiful Familiar a master can ask for and bring forth my familiar."
After saying those words, another explosion just happened. Every Time she tries to do magic it's nothing but magic. If she fails to summon a familiar, then she gets expelled from Tristain Magical Academy. After clearing out the smoke, there was nothing to be found Louise was stunned to see that no animal has came through she knows that this mean.
"Well as I thought, Louise failed to manage to summon a Familiar. Truly she is a Zero" Kirche said
Louise began to tear up knowing that she was right. She failed to perform simple magic, and she failed to summon a Familiar. Little did everyone know she actually summoned something.

UNITED GALACTIC SHIP ARMSTRONG
THe UGS Armstrong is an all human ship that is currently used to fight against the Grox Empire. The ship is a huge ship. It's about 5 times bigger than the millenium falcon. It can fit at least 20 people on board. The Captain of the ship is named Lieutenant Captain Saito Hiraga, a marine on board, and his co-captain and his close friend, Wilheim von Schmidt. A man from the German Administrative zone on earth.
Earth became a unified global nation calling the United Terran Alliance. It was formed after the Grox invaded Earth, but enough of Earth later. Saito was pressing some random buttons to go to their destination. They were assigned to send in a 20 man squad team to a new planet discovered in the star system. It is said to be contained with life and recently discovered with scary exotic creatures that they never seen before. The UGS Armstrong is equipped with FTL ion cannons, powered by Cold Fusion, and some other substances. Saito then began to enter hyperspace by pushing a lever. The ship began to make its move to an incredible speed. It was then Captain Saito heard a voice. It said
"Louise…..Louise"
Saito couldn't understand what he meant Louise was some girl he was destined to meet at Earth? That is the only logical explanation because it sounded human than any other alien species. Then the ship came to a stop. The ship exited hyperspace as it approached a Continental World. They see two moons on the screen and a sun in the middle.
"Captain, where are we, and why did you exited out of hyperspace?"
"I didn't exited out of hyperspace, you can see the Lever is still on hyperspace mode, or unless we're out of that power"
Wilheim facepalmed "I told that guy to fill up the Hyperspace fuel before we take off. Oh he is in trouble. We can't go back home because, who knows how long is Earth from here?" he said
"Well looks like i'm going to make an announcement"
Saito announces to the who crew that the Hyperspace is being shut down due to unexpected problems. Some of them were complaining and some just stood silent. Thankfully they equipped some emergency communications systems and some food, and such.
"We should head for the planet hopefully we can contact natives"
"How do you know" Wilheim asked
Saito then turned his head to the other side "Mari how is your survey on the planet"
Mari is Saito's personal AI. It can do many things including surveying planets and systems.
"Well Saito according to my survey, this planet is being occupied by humans"
"humans!/." Saito said. They were in an unknown world inhabited by humans. "How is that possible though? Where could they have originated from?"
"Hypothesis I am still unable to ascertain where we are in the galaxy at this time though existing galactic band patterns suggest we may be somewhere extra galactic at present, still need to confirm. Either way this planet is not recorded in the Federation nor have insurrectionists factions been known to branch out to other worlds themselves."
Saito laid back onto his seat "Saito would you like to see the visual of the planet?"
"Yes please"
A video showed what it seems to be a fortress filled with students and an adult male. "So It must a primitive planet, Mari what kind of tech do they possessed"
"I'd say late 15th to 16th century, early 17th at best. The powers they possess would require further research to understand."
"Powers?" Wilheim asked
"Maybe these humans are different from us, one that possesses natural genetic power" Saito said "So what do you think, shall we land and make first contact with them?" He asked
Wilheim nodded as Saito began flying the ship to thie Unknown World orbit

1245 HRS TRISTAIN MAGICAL ACADEMY
Louise was running through the forest crying her eyes out and sitting in a tree. Louise just wanted to be alone knowing that she will be expelled. She just wanted to let it all out. As she was crying she heard something coming out of the sky. From her view it was a big airship, no it wasn't an airship some type of beast that was flying in the sky. It was something that she had never seen before. What was it doing here and who is possessing it? Feeling terrified, she then ran back to the Tristain school.
At the school, all the students witnessed it as well including Professor Colbert. All students were staring at that beast airship. Colbert ordered the students to stay inside their dorms until further notice. Students quickly rushed inside, led by Loungville. Colbert rushed outside the school grounds to search for Louise. Right now she wanted to keep her safe. As soon he was about to exit school grounds, Louise entered the school grounds rushing.
"Louise!" Colbert SHouted
"You saw it too?" She asked
"Yeah saw it exiting the heavens, Louise please go back to your dorm and don't come out til further notice"
Louise nodded as she rushed inside. Colbert then ran back inside the school for an emergency meeting. Osmond, Loungville, Colbert and other staff members went to a room for a staff emergency meeting. While some people in Tristain also saw that flying beast. The best for them to stay indoors. The Royal Palace also held an emergency meeting. The Queen and the Princess were gathered with other of the Royal Staffs sat down while the Queen was talking.
UGS ARMSTRONG
1300 HRS TRISTAIN
The ship had a rough landing. They landed in some forest hopefully no one saw their ship, but most likely they did. Oh well there was nothing they can do about it.
"We did it" Saito said as he smiled. The whole crew were cheering and clapping that they didn't die. Saito and Wilheim hugged each other out of happiness. The two captains got up in their seats and head over to the crew area.
"Well guys we land in the planet without any harm. Now we gotta try to make contact with the natives and see if we can establish relations with these people. So if we're going to be Representatives of the United Galactic Federation, we need to behave, and hopefully no war comes to us do you understand men?"
"Aye Captain" they all said
"Ok Wilheim will begin First Contact. So Operation First Contact Begins Good Luck all"
"What about you Captain?" one of them asked
"I'm going to stay on board hopefully we get communication from the Federation." Saito said
"Good luck Captain" he said as Saito nodded
The crew put on their gear while holding their rifles. (Note: the rifles they are using are railgun rifles. THey don't use gunpowder anymore). Though a few of them stayed to set up base camp. The rest of the crew with Wilheim exited the forest and discovered a Castle or Fortress.
TRISTAIN MAGICAL ACADEMY
1315 HRS TRISTAIN
The staff members were now in a meeting. Osmond changed plans to move the students to the mess hall where they eat. The second years were busy bonding with their familiar, While Louise was just eating a light snack from the tables that some of the Kitchen Crew served. While she was eating, Kirche went up to Louise to greet her, while she did, Louise just ignored her.
"So Zero I heard you got close encounters with that airship," this caught almost everyone's attention those who were near her. Many questions spark around her.
"What did that airship look like?"
"Did you see anyone inhabit it?"
Kirche then sat back down to her close friend Tabitha "Looks like we got visitors from the heavens. Do you think angels might come tell us about a prophecy?"
"I don't know" Tabitha said in a monotone voice

In another room in Osmonds office, the staff and the rest were still discussing this strang airship, then when Miss Loungeville turned around to the glass, they could see strange beings or they called Golems coming this way.
"Osmond looks like some golem are heading this way." Miss Loungville said as everyone else came to see what was going outside
"What do we do now" A staff member asked
"You think we can negotiate with them?"
"Crazy! Golem don't talk!" Osmond siad
"They seem to be holding some strange muskets, So I don't think they're people. I think they are Knights"
"I will negotiate with them" Colbert said as he walked down with his staff. These so called Knights entered the school grounds pointing thier guns at him, but Wilheim made a hand gestrue to lower them.
"Good Day SIr, my name is Wilheim von Schmidt" he said in German
Colbert noted that this guy can speak Germanian. Maybe this might be a risk, but maybe Kirche can be an interpreter

Kirche stood in the middle to become the interpreter.
"Hallo mein nam ist Wilheim von Schmidt" he said
"Mein nam ist Kirche von Zerbst" she said
The two began translating
"My name is Wileheim von Scmidt"
"Good day, my name is Professor Colbert
"We wish to negotiate and not to harm. We are relatively peaceful"
"Well why don't you come on in with me and discuss it with the Principal about it" Colbert said
"Very well lead the way"

The Crew and the Co-Captain followed Colbert to the Principal's office to begin negotiations. Everyone began introducing themselves as they were done, the real talks began
"So why have you come here?" Colbert asked
Kirche Translates
"Well to put it to starters, I am the Co-Captain of the crashed ship called Armstrong."
"You mean that huge beastly airship that crashed down into the forest?" Osmond asked
"Yeah something like that, but you must have alot of questions for us. To began, we come from a place called the UGF"
"UGF?" Colber asked confused
"The United Galactic Federation a nation lies in outer you may or may not already suspect but we're not from this world, we come from planet called Earth as well as her many colonies among the stars."
"We figured that, but what about your reason to visit our world?"
"This is all involuntary. One moment we were sent on a mission to discover a new world to colonize . Once we began riding, we were taken here in this planet" Colbert nodded as he trying to synch this in "Now we want to know where we are? Also we need to know what planet this is"
"Ah yes, you currently in the Kingdom of Tristain which is located in the continent of Halkegenia consist of other nations like Gallia Germania, Romalia and Albion and you currently reside in the planet of Alfheim."
The crew team kept taking notes from paper and pen. Wilhelm briefly got in contact with Saito "Captain, processing that locational data '' then he looked back to colbert "that would be great. If you could arrange for such a meeting, it would be appreciated as you can guess we're little too high profile to just show up at a royal palace unannounced, by the way, what lanauge am I speaking?"
"Germanian of course"
'Huh interesting, what I'm speaking is called German and it's my native langauge. I am from the Administrative Country of Germany"
"Huh what a coincidence, Your Germany is like the Germanian country"
"Hmm this is quite intriguing, but enough of that for now, I'm really interested in your magic" Colbert said
"Magic!?" Everyone started laughing, "Professor, we don't use magic. We call it technology, but I would like to learn about your magic.
Colbert seemed unconvinced with the claim that they used no form of magic but walked over to the pile of sticks on the ground picking one up. "Our magic works by focusing our willpower into a foci, or wand, such as this," he held out the wand for Wilheim to see. "Let me demonstrate." He muttered some sort of incantation and surly enough a whip of flames emerged from the wand and curled and twisted above him.
Most of the crew were amazed about this revelation. A human world has the ability to use magic "so who has the ability to possess magic? Is it like chooseable or you have to be born with it"
"It's by noble birth. People have the ability to use magic through noble birth"
"As I thought" he said mentally "The Feudal System is still going on in this place. Looks like these humans have a long ass way to get to space stage"
"Anyways, is there anything else you like to ask?" Wilheim asked
"Yes Osmond I think Louise Familiar spell might have a connection with this ship, it happened 30 minutes ago"
"Really 30 minutes ago we arrived at Alfheim"
"Do you think one of thses crew might be Louise's Familair?"
"Maybe, is this all of you people" Osmond asked
"No, the Captain of the Armstrong ship is named Lieutenant Captain Saito Hiraga. A 19 year old from the Administrative of Japan, and there is also a few left behind"
"I see, well might as well tell this to Louise then" Colbert said as Kirche was stunned "If this theory is correct, we need to study Louise magic more than we expected. If she could summon a shp this big, then she might be a powerful mage that we don't know of" Kirche more stunned though she picked on her alot, but never hated her or disliked her, she somewhat cared about her.

Saito was repairing some communications while eating his Doritos chips from his bag and drank coca-cola
"Captain, how is the repairing?" one of the crew asked
"Well we are still a long way from repairing, but it looks like we are still missing some recipes, if possible we could get some resources from this place. We need to negotiate with the nations leader, whoever it is. SO the time being, there is nothign we can do"
"I see, he said as he grabbed a chip from Saito's bag and ate it"
The crew and Wilheim came back from negotiations "So hwo did it go?"
"Went great. We're going to meet the Queen of Tristain, Henrietta. It will be a couple days because it was the day of a festiva called "The Familiar Exhibition"
"Wonderful, I will have the talks to the Queen and hopefully I can get good communication with the military. Right now there are some missing small parts that need repairing, and we don't have the resources for it."

Osmond and Colbert called Louise to Osmond's office. Students were teasing about Louise going to be finally expelled from school, and Louise thought about that as well. She came into the office nervous
"Louise please sit"
Louise sat down in front of Osmond with Miss Loungeville sitting on the side of Osmond.
"So why did you call me here?" she asked
"Well, it has to do something with that ship over there" Colbert said "We belive that you might have connections with that ship" osmond said
"Really?"
"Yes the ship entered the same time as you began your Familiar Spell"
"Is it possible that I summoned that ship?" Louise asked
"It's a theory but yes, I believe so, we also came to the discussion that one of the is technically you're familiar. Through we don't know who it is, but I'm afriad any of these men will not be a sevant of you"
"Am I going to be expelled!" Louise got scared
"No" Osmond said " since you proven to summon a ship that big, therefore you are going to continue your studies here"
"Oh Brimir thank you PrincipaL" Louise said with happiness
"Though we need to study your magic though. If you could summon a shpi like that, then there is probably something special about you Louise" Colbert said
"Yes sir" Louise said
"You're dismissed' Osmond said as Louise ran out with excitement "I don't know who is my familiar is but whoever it is, I am grateful for any of those men who saved my butt from getting expelled. Oh well I may not get a familiar, at least i'm not expelled" Louise said mentally.
