Of all the places Kyouka expected to go to today, a cemetery wasn't even on the list. She shuddered as she looked about, grimacing as she saw the headstones. Why would Izuku bring her here of all places?

"Izuku, did we have to come here? You know places like this give me the creeps," said Kyouka as Izuku led her through the cemetery by the hand.

The green-haired boy looked back at her with a reassuring smile. "I know, Kyouka, but I promise there's a reason for this."

A pout formed on Kyouka's face. She wished Izuku would just tell her why they were there. She soon got her answer when Izuku led her to a particular headstone.

"Shimura Nana?" questioned Kyouka, reading off the unfamiliar name. "Why are we visiting this grave, Izuku?"

"…She's family," replied Izuku. When Kyouka turned to him with a look of confusion, he explained further. "She was All Might's mentor and teacher before she died. All Might has even gone as far as to say that he saw her as his mother because of how close they were."

"…Just like how All Might is your dad," added the purple-haired girl with a small smirk.

"Y-Yeah," said Izuku, blushing slightly.

"Okay, so if she's family, why bring me here?" asked the shy rocker. "This should be a private moment between you two."

"But I want you here," stated Izuku, turning to look Kyouka in the eye. "From the stories All Might has told me about Nana, I think if she were still alive she would have liked you. She might not be here anymore, but I kind of wanted to still introduce you to her. I don't know. I'm sorry if this seems weird!"

Kyouka's face lit up as she started to tap her earphone jacks together in a shy manner. She didn't think she was THAT important to Izuku that he would want to introduce her to someone who was essentially his grandmother.

"I don't think it's weird, Izu-kun," replied Kyouka in a soft tone. "This is important to you and it's sweet that you want me to be a part of it."

A small smile appeared on Izuku's face before he placed a light kiss on Kyouka's cheek, causing her to blush further. The two then knelt before the grave and said a silent prayer before Izuku spoke.

"Hey, B-Baachan. It's me, Izuku. I'm sorry that it's been awhile since my last visit, but I've been very busy with classes and hero training. I've been getting a lot better thanks to All Might's help!

Toshinori's been doing well. He and Kaachan are very happy and wanted me to tell you that they'll be by later to visit.

Oh! And this is Jirou Kyouka, my g-girlfriend…"

"P-Pleased to meet you, Shimura-san," stated Kyouka with a slight bow. Normally, she would think the idea of talking to a headstone to be odd, but in this moment it just felt right.

"You would like her, Baachan. She's a lot like you; she's kind, caring, and doesn't take crap from anyone!" said Izuku, causing Kyouka to give off a small smile and a slight blush. "She also follows the belief that a true hero should smile, to let people know that everything will be okay. I was honestly surprised when I found that out since we've both had similar reasons for wanting be heroes since we were little kids, but never met until we made it into UA. Our friend Ashido says it's fate, but Kyouka and I think it's just a coincidence. I don't know."

"Regardless though," started Kyouka, interrupting Izuku. "I love Izu-kun with all of my heart, Shimura-san, and nothing will ever change that. I want to stand with him through thick and thin as a friend, a partner, a lover, and an equal. That being said, I h-hope I will have your b-blessing."

A soft, dainty hand slipped into a rough, scarred one as Kyouka rested her head on Izuku's shoulder and Izuku rested his head upon hers. They stared at the headstone for a few moments in silence.

"I know I say this every time I visit, Baachan, but I really wish I could have met you. That WE could have met you. The world needs more heroes like you and I can only hope that Kyouka and I can become heroes that you'd be proud of."

Saying one last prayer and then their goodbyes, the two teens stood and took their leave, hand in hand, feeling lighter than when they arrived.

Meanwhile, deep within the flames of One For All, a raven-haired woman stood there with a smile on her face, tears of happiness trailing down her face.

"I'm already proud of you, Izuku-chan. You and your girlfriend."

I know I'm probably a broken record at this point, constantly bringing up the smiling theme with IzuJirou, but I got this idea last night as I was going to bed and I couldn't let it go. Besides, can you really blame me for using something that is technically canon to the series?

Kyouka would be a perfect addition to the Mighty Family. You got Granny Nana, her son Toshinori, his wife Inko, their son Izuku, his future wife Kyouka, and then their daughter Eri. Damn right Nana would be proud.
