408Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be seeing some developments between Naruto and Lazuli as they progress with their relationship, along with the start of the Cell Games, along with Imperfect Cell making his moves. So, without further ado.

Within the depths of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, two blue repeatedly clashed against each other, with shockwaves being released, each time they clashed against one another. Though soon, both blurs crashed into each other, before falling to the ground. With the blurs revealing to be Naruto, in his Super Saiyan transformation, and Lazuli, with her own power flaring around her.
Both of the Androids panting lightly from their sparring, with Naruto smiling at the female Android.
"You've gotten really strong, Lazuli. You're really pushing me, even while I'm transformed." Said Naruto, glad about the progress they've made, from their time in the chamber, with Lazuli having grown strong enough to now match Naruto, as a Full Power Super Saiyan.
Though Lazuli, while pleased with how much stronger she's gotten, didn't share Naruto's enthusiasm.
"Maybe, but you're still taking it easy on me. If you transformed into a Super Saiyan 2, I wouldn't even last a minute." Lazuli said, while crossing her arms, with a frown on her face.
She knew that despite the progress she's made, from the past year they've spent in the time chamber, she still wasn't a match for Naruto, at his full power. Let alone standing a chance against Cell, who was already stronger than her, in just his Semi-Perfect Form, with that gap only getting wider, with his Super Perfect Form.
"Perhaps, but don't sell yourself short, the fact you're able to keep up with me, while in this form, is a great accomplishment. And that's just from one year of training in here, give it time, and I know you'll be able to get even stronger." Naruto said, confident that Lazuli will get stronger.
"Yeah, but I doubt that Cell would just sit back, and let me or Lapis get that strong." Stated Lazuli, knowing if they were able to, they would have already hunted down and killed Cell, as payback for eating them, but knew it'd likely just end the same as before, or even in Cell killing them.
"Maybe. While it might not be enough to go against Cell as he is, now. At least now you'll be able to put up a fight against him, and any tricks he might pull. And if that's not enough, I already swore I'll protect you, and I don't intend to break my word." Naruto said, determined, and refusing to let anything happen to Lazuli, or the others, again.
His words made Lazuli smile and kiss him on the cheek.
"You're sweet, but don't forget that I'm capable of taking care of myself." Said Lazuli, with Naruto nodding, knowing it's true, since the female Android is more than able of protecting herself.
That didn't mean he still wouldn't protect if he needed to.
The two Androids then returned to the entryway, knowing they only had a few more moments, before they had to leave the chamber. Both of them wanting to use them to relax, and rest, before leaving.
"You'd think they'd have put something in here for us to do, besides eating and sleeping. A T.V., movies, books, video games, even board games." Lazuli said, sitting down, looking around the sparse living quarters, that only had the necessities for eating, sleeping, and bathing, but nothing for them to do, when they've rested.
Nothing else to do besides training, which was the purpose of the room to begin with. But Lazuli felt it would have been nice to at least have the option of doing something, while they're resting.
'A movie.' Naruto thought, having considered taking Lazuli to see a movie as part of their first date.
Thinking about it, Naruto's mind drifted to when he first learned what a movie was. Before their encounter with the "defective" Androids.
*Flashback*
The four Androids walked through the town, they had just arrived in, with Naruto looking around, taking in all the sights he could see. Only to suddenly stop, and look at a specific building, this also getting the attention of the other Androids.
"Something wrong, Naruto?" Lazuli asked, wondering why he suddenly stopped.
"What's that building over there?" Asked Naruto, while pointing at a large building, where he could several people going in and out of, along with having a sign on the front, showing different names or titles.
"You mean the movie theater." Lapis said, while raising a brow, with Naruto nodding slowly.
"Yeah. What's a…movie theater?" Naruto asked, not having any information on movies, or theaters.
"It's where people go to watch movies." Answered Lazuli, only to get a blank stare from Naruto, reminding her that he didn't have much knowledge about the outside world.
"Okay, think of it like this, remember how you were beating up those losers from before, while me, Lapis, and Gebo were watching? Think of a movie like that, where you're watching something on a large screen." Lazuli explained, with Naruto nodding slowly again, getting a basic understanding of what a movie was.
"And they play movies at these theaters?" Naruto asked, with the twins nodding.
"Yeah. Did you wanna go see one?" Said Lapis, with the Saiyan Android nodding, with his curiosity piqued at seeing a movie, for himself.
"What about you Gebo, wanna go see a movie?" Lazuli asked, while looking at the tall Android.
"I do not believe we should delay any further. Son Goku could have been moved to a new location, and we would lose track of him." Said Gebo, wanting to continue their objective of hunting Goku.
"Don't worry big guy, Goku isn't going anywhere, and even if they did move him, I'm sure that he'll eventually come find us. Which would also save us the trouble of finding him, ourselves." Lazuli replied, with Gebo frowning for a moment, before nodding.
"Very well, we shall go see a movie." Said Gebo, being a little curious himself, about seeing a movie, as well.
"Great, let's go see what's playing." Lapis said, as the four Androids began heading towards the theater, to see a movie.
*End Flashback*
"Hey Naruto, something on your mind? You kinda zoned out." Lazuli said, pulling Naruto from his mind.
"Huh? Oh, nothing much, I was just remembering when we went to see a movie, for the first time." Replied Naruto, with Lazuli nodding also remembering that time before she smirked.
"Yeah, it's just too bad we couldn't see the ending, and had to leave so soon." Said Lazuli, with Naruto looking down, with a light embarrassed blush on his face.
"It was an accident." Muttered Naruto, also remembering what he did, after they went to see the movie.
Given it was the first time he was seeing something like that, Naruto had been enthralled by the movie, along with getting into it, just a bit too much. With it leading to Naruto instinctively shooting a Ki blast at the screen, when an explosion went off, thinking it was happening for real.
This leading to the Androids having to quickly leave the town, with Lapis and Lazuli having found it very amusing, and teased Naruto for his attack.
"Hey, I'm not complaining, I thought it was pretty awesome, what you did was definitely more exciting. Though, I really preferred what you did to those assholes." Lazuli said, smirking, as she remembered something, even more enjoyable.
*Flashback*
Lazuli sighed, as she leaned against a metal pole, with her arms crossed, and looked around for any sign of her brother, 16, or Naruto.
They had just arrived in a new town, not long after leaving the one, where she and Naruto got their new clothes. With Lapis and 16 going off, the former showing the latter around, while she and Naruto also looked around. Though not long ago, Naruto had asked her to wait here for him, before wondering off to do something.
The Saiyan Android not giving a response of where he was going, or what he was doing. Just asking her to wait for him to get back, with Lazuli doing so out of curiosity of what he was doing.
"Hey baby."
'Oh, you've gotta be kidding me.' Lazuli thought, dragging a hand down her face, before looking to see three guys practically undressing her, with their eyes.
"What's a pretty girl like you, doing all by herself?" One of the guys said, as they circled the blonde Android, with Lazuli not even acknowledging their presence.
"Ah, come on babe, don't be like that. We just wanna get to know you." Said another guy.
"Yeah. How about you come with us, and we can all get to know each other, even better." The first guy said, before making the mistake of trying to touch 18, only for her to grab his wrist tightly, making him yelp.
"Okay, since you idiots can't seem to take a hint. Let me spell it out for you, if you don't get the hell out of my sight, in the next five seconds, I will break every bone in your bodies. Is that in anyway, unclear?" Said Lazuli, tightening her grip on the guys wrist, making him cry out in pain and fall to his knees, with the other two trying to move to help him, only to freeze, when Lazuli glared at them.
"OW! Alright, alright, we'll leave, just me go!" Pleaded the guy, with Lazuli shoving him back.
"Good, now get lost." Lazuli said, while looking away from the idiots.
"Fuck, crazy bitch." Said the guy, as the three were about to leave, not wanting to mess with someone, like that.
Only to bump right into Naruto, who glared at them, having heard what the guy just said.
"Did you just insult my friend?" Naruto demanded, while not knowing what the word meant, he could guess it was an insult, and he wasn't going to let someone get away with insulting his friend.
"Yeah, what of it dumba-AAAAAHHHH!" The guy screamed, when Naruto cut him off by giving him an uppercut, that ended up launching the guy straight into the sky, due to the strength behind it.
"I don't like it, when someone insults my friends." Said Naruto, glaring at the other two guys, that immediately turned tail, and ran away screaming.
Lazuli looked surprised at Naruto's action, but also pleased, since she had been about to just break the assholes arms, for calling her a bitch. But decided that Naruto's attack was even better.
"While I'm thankful for the gesture Naruto, where did you go?" Lazuli asked, only to be surprised when Naruto handed her an ice cream cone, with the female Android now noticing the treats in his other hand.
"I saw some people eating this stuff, and they seemed to really like it. I thought you'd like it too and went to get you some." Replied Naruto, having noticed a couple eating it, and saw that they looked happy, with the Saiyan Android having wanted to make Lazuli happy, by getting her some, as well.
"Oh, thank you." Said Lazuli, smiling and accepting the cone, touched at his kindness.
"As long as you're happy, you don't have to thank me." Naruto said, while smiling at her, with Lazuli, again, being surprised by his words, before her smile widened, and kissed him on the cheek.
The two Androids then walked off, while enjoying their ice cream.
*End Flashback*
Thinking about that moment still made Lazuli smile, given at the time, Naruto still hadn't been that knowledgeable of the world.
'But he still went out of his way to do something if it made me happy.' Lazuli thought, while looking at the Saiyan Android.
"What?" Naruto asked, while seeing the way Lazuli was looking at him.
"Nothing, I'm just happy." Said Lazuli, smiling, before leaning in and kissing Naruto, surprising him a little at the sudden action, before he returned the kiss.
When the two separated, they smiled at each other, with Naruto brushing some strands of hair out of Lazuli's face.
"We should probably leave, unless we want to get stuck in here." Lazuli said, knowing if they didn't leave now, she'd be too tempted to really show him, how grateful she was for saving her.
Nodding in agreement, the two Androids stood up, before heading for the exit.
Though not a moment, after they exited the time chamber, Naruto was glomped by a shaking and freaking out Videl.
"Videl, is something wrong?" Naruto asked, worried that something might have happened, while they in the chamber, and quickly spread out his senses, in case Cell made a surprise attack, but didn't sense the Bio-Android anywhere, nearby.
Videl didn't say anything, but merely held onto Naruto tightly, refusing to let go, just as Lapis, Gebo, Bulma, Trunks and Piccolo walked over.
"Did something happen?" Said Naruto, wondering what happened for Videl to act like this, with the five exchanging confused a looked, also not having any ideas.
"We don't really know." Piccolo said, with Trunks nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, she seemed fine when you guys first went into the chamber. But the more time passed, she started getting all fidgety and nervous. It only got the worse as more time passed, until she started hyperventilating, and looked ready to have a panic attack. She wasn't even able to go to sleep, when night fell, or looked to even try." Trunks said, having been worried at her sudden change in behavior, but wasn't sure what to do.
Naruto frowned at this, even more worried that something was wrong with Videl. Only to be confused, when he saw that she had started calming down, and looked more relaxed. Seeing this, Bulma gained a thoughtful look, before realizing what the problem was.
"I know what's wrong. She's scared and traumatized, given she not only saw Cell absorb dozens of people, including her own father. But she nearly died, as well, if it wasn't for you two, and Goku, showing up. And since it was Naruto that found her, Videl's latched onto him as a means of safety, and knowing she's protected, like a security blanket, or a lifeline. It's why the longer she noticed he wasn't around, the worse she got, which is likely to happen again, if he's gone for too long." Bulma explained, realizing the reason for Videl's behavior.
Though this did nothing to lessen Naruto's worry, now only being more worried of what would happen, if he was gone for too long. Looking down at Videl, Naruto knelt down, and hugged her.
"It's alright Videl, I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere. I promise." Naruto said, swearing to make sure Videl was safe.
Videl relaxed at Naruto's words and embrace, before slowly she began drifting off to sleep.
"Well if you guys want, you're more than welcome to stay at my family's home, for the time being." Bulma offered the Androids, knowing Videl couldn't stay on The Lookout, but also couldn't be far away from Naruto.
The Androids were surprised at the offer, before nodding in thanks, as they all boarded Bulma's plane, that flew off towards Capsule Corp.
*Timeskip-One Day*
The next morning, Naruto and Lazuli were hanging out with Bulma, having wanted to get to know the genius woman better, after their time together on The Lookout. Along with hearing more of the adventures she's went on, with the Z-Fighters.
Lapis had headed out into the city, while Gebo was being looked over by Dr. Briefs. Bulma and her father having been giving the tall Android various upgrades, that'll make him much stronger, for when the Cell Games start. Given he can't train in the conventional sense, they were making him stronger through upgrading his systems and weapons.
Though Naruto paused, when he sensed Gohan arriving with someone else, as well. With the three soon seeing Gohan landing in front of them, carrying a brown haired girl.
"Hey Gohan! Who's your friend?" Bulma asked, curious of who the girl.
"Hey Bulma. This is Lime, I met her when I saved her, after she fell into a river. I brought her here, so she could meet everyone." Replied Gohan, with Lime stepping forward, and waving at them.
"Hello, it's nice to meet you all, Gohan's told me a lot, about you. But who's that?" Lime asked, spotting Videl walking up from behind Naruto, Lazuli and Bulma, the three looking and saw the young girl.
"That's Videl. Did Goku tell you about her?" Naruto asked, looking at Gohan, who nodded with a frown, having been filled in on what happened, while he and Trunks were in the time chamber.
Along with seeing that Videl and Lime were in similar situations, both having lost their parents to Cell.
"Yeah, he did. It's nice to meet you, Videl." Said Gohan, smiling at the girl and holding his hand, which Videl shook after a little hesitance
"It's nice to meet you to…Gohan, right? Naruto told me about you and the others, after he…" Videl said, frowning sadly, as she remembered what happened.
"It was Cell right." Said Lime sympathetically, recognizing the look on Videl's face as the same she got, whenever she thought about her parents.
Videl nodded and could tell Lime likely lost people she cared about to the Bio-Android, as well.
"Hey Videl, if you want, you could join me and Lime in training." Offered Gohan, having offered to train Lime in martial arts, and could see Videl needed a distraction from her memories.
"Yeah, that'd be great." Videl replied, while smiling.
"Wow Gohan, you're pretty bold." Said Bulma, smiling teasingly, with Gohan blinking in confusion, as he looked at her.
"What're you talking about?" Gohan asked, confused by how offering Videl the chance to train with them was bold.
"Well, with how much Goku likes fighting, one would think a training session is the equivalent of a date. Meaning you just asked two girls out at the same time." Bulma teased, Gohan's eyes widening, before blushing in embarrassment, with Lime doing the same.
"Wh-what?! I-it-it's not like th-that! I-I was just trying to be nice!" Shouted Gohan in denial.
"Oh? So you were just being nice to Videl, but I didn't hear a denial about asking Lime out. Something you'd like to share?" Lazuli asked, while smirking, as Gohan's and Lime's blushes only intensified.
"If you want, we could train together some other time, if you two wanted to be alone." Added Videl, smiling, while joining in to tease her new friends.
"I-it's re-really n-not l-like th-that! W-we were j-just g-going t-to train!" Lime stuttered, with her face burning red.
"I don't know, I think you two look like a pretty cute couple. Oh, Bulma, why don't you go call Chichi, and tell her that Gohan has a girlfriend!" Said Panchy, having walked up to the group, after hearing what they were talking about, and wanted to jump in on teasing the kids.
"Great idea! I'll go tell her now!" Bulma said.
"No don't!" Shouted Gohan, mortified and embarrassed at the idea of his mother believing Lime is his girlfriend.
'I'm really glad I didn't have to go through this when Lazuli and I got together.' Thought Naruto, relieved he didn't have to deal with being teased.
He'd sooner be blown up again, than deal with teasing.
*Later*
After some time, everyone had gone inside, with Naruto pulling out a laptop, wanting to look over some stuff, and keep learning more about the world.
'Huh, what's this? The Princess Gale Trilogy?' Thought Naruto, seeing the movies were playing at the local theater.
"Hey Bulma, do you know about the Princess Gale Trilogy?" Naruto asked, wanting to know if they were any good.
"Know about them? I've seen all three, and they're amazing! I even got an autograph from the lead actress, Koyuki Kazahana, when she came to a party, that my family hosted!" Said Bulma excitedly, having been a big fan of Princess Gale, ever since she saw the first movie.
"Really? In that case, would you want to go see them, Lazuli?" Naruto asked, looking at the blonde Android, who thought about it, before nodding.
"Yeah, it sounds like fun." Lazuli replied, figuring it'd be better to have their first date sooner, rather than later, especially since they're technically a year into their relationship, already.
Smiling, Naruto purchased and printed out the tickets, for them to go see the trilogy. Before he and Lazuli went to get ready for their date.
Though Naruto was stopped, when a now nervous Videl grabbed his hand, the girl worried about Naruto being gone for that long. Worried of what would happen while he was gone. Seeing her expression, Naruto smiled softly, and patted her head.
"Don't worry Videl, I said it before, I'm not going anywhere, and I meant it." Said Naruto, before concentrating, as he used the Multi-Form technique to create a copy of himself.
"There, now there's nothing to worry about." The copy said, with Videl looking between the two Naruto's, feeling less nervous and worried.
Not entirely, since she would prefer the real Naruto, than a copy of him. But it'll be a good enough of a substitute, until Naruto gets back from the movies, with Lazuli.
Seeing Videl was more relaxed, Naruto went to get ready, with him and Lazuli soon coming down, and about to leave. Only to be stopped, when Gohan walked up to them.
"Before you go, Naruto, my dad wanted to invite you over for dinner tonight, with my mom agreeing." Said Gohan, with Naruto looking surprised at the offer.
"Uh, sure. Would it be alright, if I brought Lazuli and Videl with me?" Naruto asked, with Gohan nodding.
"Yeah, that should be fine." Replied Gohan, before saying his goodbyes, and flew off back home, with Lime in hand.
Naruto and Lazuli then left for the theater, to go see the movies.
*Later*
"Huh, gotta admit those, were better than I thought they'd be." Lazuli said, as she and Naruto exited the theater, after finishing the Princess Gale Trilogy.
"Yeah, they were pretty interesting." Said Naruto, having enjoyed the movies, and could see why Bulma liked them so much.
The two Androids then returned to the Briefs Compound to grab Videl, along with Naruto remerging with his clone, before flying off to Mt. Paozu. The three soon arriving outside the Son Household, with Naruto knocking on the door, which soon opened, showing Goku.
"You made it! Great, come on in, Chichi just finished making dinner, and there's plenty to go around." Goku said, while stepping aside, to let the three inside.
Going inside, Naruto and Lazuli saw Gohan and Chichi sitting at the table, the Half-Saiyan waving, while the human woman gave a short nod, regarding them warily. Given that just a few days ago, they had been enemies and planned to kill her husband, not to mention, they were created by the same man, who made Cell.
Sitting down, everyone began eating with Naruto, Lazuli, and Videl talking with the Son Family, getting to know them better. With Goku and Gohan talking with them normally, while Chichi gave short answers, or replies, when they spoke to her. Though as time passed, she began warming up to the three, starting to see Naruto and Lazuli weren't just the murderous, killer machines that everyone originally believed them to be, and were just like everyone else.
Minus the obvious differences.
With them soon having a pleasant surprise, when they found out that Chichi was pregnant with hers and Goku's second child. When Naruto scanned her out of curiosity, with it making Goku and Gohan even more determined to defeat Cell. So their unborn son and younger sibling, respectively, can be born in a safe and peaceful world.
When dinner ended, the three left the Son Household on better terms with the family, before flying off to Capsule Corp, with Naruto carrying Videl.
*Timeskip-Two Days*
The day had come.
Seven days had passed, since Cell's announcement of the Cell Games, with today being the day that they start.
The Androids and Trunks had already flown off to meet the others, where the Cell Games would be held. While Bulma had headed to Kame House with Videl and baby Trunks, to meet up with Roshi, Chichi, Ox-King and Fortune Teller Baba, to watch the Cell Games. Lime will be there too, since she wanted to cheer on Gohan and his friends, while they're fighting Cell.
Though, unknown to them, they had been watched by a being in the shadows. With it revealing themselves to be Imperfect Cell, watching as everyone left, with his attention then turning to the Androids.
'Even if I can't sense their energy, I know that they're likely too strong for me to handle now, thanks to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.' Thought Imperfect Cell, knowing they all likely used the time chamber during the past seven days, making them even stronger than they were before.
Making it so he absolutely needed to get the time machine, and go to Trunks's future, if he wanted to achieve his Perfect Form.
Though he didn't make a grab for it just yet, waiting a few moments. Before smirking, as he sensed Goku and his counterpart's power being flared.
'And there's my opening.' Imperfect Cell thought, knowing everyone will be so focused on the Cell Games, they won't even take notice of his own power.
Not wasting a moment, Cell broke through the wall into Capsule Corp before he began attacking and absorbing everyone in sight. With it not being long, until only Dr. Briefs and Panchy were left.
Dr. Briefs tried running for the phone, to call and warn Bulma, only to cry out in pain, when his arm was suddenly blasted off.
"Ah, ah, ah. We wouldn't want to pull anyone away from the show, now would we." Said Imperfect Cell, stepping forward, while having his tail wrapped around Panchy's neck.
"H-how ar-are yo-you h-here?" Said Dr. Briefs, gripping his stump, as he looked at Imperfect Cell in fear and confusion as to how there could be another Cell.
"What can I say, multiverse theories a bitch. Now, if you'd be so kind as to give me the time machine before I drink the lady." Cell demanded, holding out a hand, with Dr. Briefs shakily and reluctantly pulling out the time machine's capsule.
"A-alright, just-just please let us go." Said Dr. Briefs, hating what he was doing, but wanted to protect his wife, and make sure they could warn the others.
Snatching the capsule, Imperfect Cell chuckled darkly, before opening to see if it was indeed the time machine. Seeing that it was the time machine, Cell smirked, before jabbing his stinger into Panchy's neck, absorbing her, before doing the same to Dr. Briefs.
Going over to the time machine, Cell opened it, and saw that it seemed to have been modified to have a bigger cockpit.
'I suppose this was to allow multiple people to fit inside. Lucky me.' Cell thought, seeing he could now fit inside, and not have to revert to his larvae stage, leaving him helpless.
Entering the time machine, which was still a tight squeeze, Cell was pleased to see that the coordinates were preset for Trunks's future, before vanishing in a flash of light.
Reappearing, Cell opened his eyes, and sensed someone approaching the time machine.
"Trunks! You're back, thank goodness! Were you able to help the others stop the Androids?" Asked Future Bulma, approaching the time machine, thinking it was her son.
Only to gasp in shock and horror, when rather than Trunks, it was some kind of large bug creature, that came out.
"Sorry, but I'm not Trunks, at least not entirely." Cell said, smirking, since he did have Trunks's DNA, from when he fought Frieza.
'Is…Is this a result of us messing with the time stream?' Bulma thought, while backing up slowly, hoping to make a break for it.
Only to gasp in pain, when Cell's stringer pierced her chest, before she was quickly absorbed.
"Hm, that will definitely be useful." Cell said, feeling the technological knowledge Bulma possessed flowing through his mind, making it even greater than what Gero programmed him to know, to begin with.
Even better, since while he did fit in the time machine, Cell saw it also was a little damaged from him getting out. Something he can now fix once he's finished here.
'Now then, to hunt down anyone still alive, and drink them.' Cell thought, while exiting the underground bunker.
Planning to hunt down any survivors from this timeline's 17 and 18's rampage, and absorb them, wanting to be sure he's strong enough to handle them.
Afterwards, he'll hunt down the Androids themselves, and absorb them to achieve his Perfect Form.
'Then I'll also locate the me of this time and absorb him as well. Then I'll make use of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber here, to grow even stronger. And once I'm done here, I'll return to the past, and show my counterpart, who the true Perfect Being is.' Thought Cell, chuckling wickedly as he began his hunt.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we got two flashbacks of moments between Naruto and Lazuli, along with seeing that Videl has latched onto Naruto as a means of safety after the trauma of encountering Cell, with the Saiyan Android promising to keep Videl safe. Next we see the Androids staying at the Briefs Compound where Gohan and Lime, filler character, show up and befriend Videl, along with the two being teased. (Also here Videl and Gohan will have a sibling-like relationship nothing romantic, as that will be between Gohan and Lime, just a heads up). Afterwards we see Naruto and Lazuli going to the movies as their first date, with Naruto leaving a clone behind to look after Videl, along with being invited to the Son Household for dinner. With the three interacting and getting to know the Son Family better, Naruto also revealing a pleasant surprise of Chichi being pregnant with Goten, making Goku and Gohan even more determined to stop Cell. Finally, things take a darker turn as everyone heads off for the Cell Games while Chichi, Videl, and baby Trunks head to Kame House, leaving Imperfect Cell to attack Capsule Corp and steal the time machine while absorbing everyone, including Dr. Briefs and Panchy.
