Most of the world at this time has fallen, only North and South America as well as Japan, Australia and New Zealand are still standing. Most of the troops from around the globe are located in the lower half of Africa, surrounded on land and sea by machines. Any remaining people are scattered across the conquered Martian territories, as the red weed crawls across fields and streets and buildings.

Crawling, crawling crawling…

London, a once great city, now turned into a quiet, desolate ruin. Red weed smothered the Thames, choking it completely. Any water that was allowed to escape was red, as the blood that was fed to the living organic mass. Harry stood overlooking the river, feeling his heart sink as the red weed dug itself into the cement and gravel. Other plants were growing as well, feeding off the red weed and keeping it in check, but it wasn't plants from Earth. They were all from another planet that wasn't Mars.

Harry looked away, moving as fast as he dared through the Martian controlled city. The other worldly beings had stationed several groups of the metal monsters patrolled the streets. Ducking behind a fallen wall that used to belong to a candy shop, Harry watched as a Heron lumbered through the city as its personal guard of Iron Spiders roamed ahead. Several Lice attacked some of the Red weed and uprooted it, making it die and all the tendrils it had grown out.

A trio of Copper Scorpions walked past, allowing Harry to rush by without being seen. He slid down a pile of rubble before diving into a hole, cashing into the ground with a thump. He slowly got up and walked down the tunnel that led to where everyone was stationed, a bunker under the scorched ruins of Gringotts. The stone turned to smooth quarts and carpeted floors, as Harry stepped up to the magically sealed safe room door.

"It's me, Harry." He whispered into the thick steel, causing the door to unlock itself and swing inwards.

He stepped inside, allowing the door to close as he groaned, leaning against the door. He was dirty, covered in grim and sweat. He walked into the prep room and put his weapon down on the table, as specialized magic runes activated. They took apart his gun, stocked his ammo and would fix and repair the weapon for when he needed it again. He found Luna Lovegood in the showering/decontamination room, humming as she showered.

"Hello Harry~" She said to him in her sing-song voice, looking over at him with a smile, "Found anything good today?"

"Not really, just a few components for the radio for Krum to fix." He said, stripping and stepping under a shower head.

Luna nodded before stepping up to him and hugging him, making a noise of contentment as she pressed her cheek into his chest. He didn't move for a moment then shook his head, taking his shower. She didn't let go until he was finished and got dressed in some regular clothing. She dressed in a simple black nightgown and walked into her part of the bunker, filled with all sorts of potion items. He headed to the kitchen and got something to eat.

He'll finally get a break for a while.

The Martians have lost half of Africa in a surprising move by the Allied forces, and Japan has taken large chunks of China but have been stopped by new Alien Machines. A new factory building of Alien origins has been built into the Thames and has been using the water to power whatever is inside of it. But every day, nearly six hundred Iron Spiders, two hundred and fifty Copper Scorpions, forty Herons and twelve Titans, were produced. We got this information from the Allied command but we can't move as they wanted us too, we're stuck here unless we figure out a way to make apparition points that can cross internationally like portkeys.

We also found out that Germany had been nuked, the original landing location was supposedly wiped off the map, but the Aliens had created more bases of operations in the surrounding countries. Vast factories were producing more machines of war as new machines appeared, to counter whatever the Allies threw at them.

We may not have a chance anymore.
